    Twice as big, twice as empty. Dice's promises shows to be complete lies once more. This time it's worse than ever, considering many fans was eagerly awaiting this to be Dice's comeback, since BFV had a rocky development, and they've deserved the benefit of the doubt. I was really hoping they'd learn from their mistakes but clearly their bloted attitude towards their playerbase has onlyTwice as big, twice as empty.     From gunplay, movement, the lack environmental destruction, poor arsenal, few vehicles, empty soulless maps(and its presentation as a whole...) Bugs bugs bugs etcetera... Only positive is that it looks fairly good.

    In a year maybe it will be decent, but with their design decisions it will never amount to anything worth your while.    … Expand

    Against the background of this sh**, even part 5 does not look bad. and the first and already outdated fourth are absolutely magnificent. that year autumn was overshadowed by the release of cyberpunk, and this time they decided to support the completely broken gta collection, and now this one.

    The worst experience with battlefield I have ever had! I’m a long time fan of the series and I’ve put in around 15 hours on 2042 the shooting feels off sometimes I put entire mags into people and they turn and shoot me twice killing me, tons of glitches helicopters flipping out tanks getting stuck in wall, and matches have terrible lag with some just not working at all! It feels like anThe worst experience with battlefield I have ever had!     this is no longer the Battlefield series! a game released with a small amount of weapons, and a lot of bugs! maybe next year it will be worth buying, but now you have to be naive!

    Save your money this is one of the worst games to ever be released. Portal is okay and Hazard Zone won't last another month. Performance is atrocious on Ps5 have Uninstalled multiple to times and still receive constant CE-1088 error/game crash (the game leaks memory like crazy because the game isn't coded properly) in conclusion this game is a dumpster fore.... hot garbage.

    - hitreg is worst than ever

    - bullet spread. Can’t hit anything beyond 25m

    Maps look amazing but aside from that this game is a travesty and quite honestly an insult to the whole shooter genre. So many execs thinking they had bright ideas by making the game more like cod, why have soldiers with specialized purposes for team play when we can just make specialists like every other game out right now. Don’t add chat someone might get their feelings hurt and we can have that that’s not profitable (says someone who bowls nothing about gaming and it’s community), no sir we don’t want a community we want mindless drones who don’t think and just buy our quick and easy digital skins. Why make a good game when you can make a mediocre one and milk the idiots that play it?

    A chinesse copy of Battlefield, the portal is good but with this crap engine, low quality movements, low quality sounds and no score, you play for nothing. The missing scoreboard is like play FIFA without goals.

Super laggy even with a good connection and all ports open. Vehicles and air combat is terrible. No weight or aerodynamics. Guns are terrible. Glitches galore. No scoreboard. Audio is garbage.     This really has a very very good battlefield game in it, but you simply can not release a game in this state. It is almost unplayable which is sad because its clear its a very good game. My score is a protest against the developers for releasing the game thats is hardly even a functional game at all but im sure it will be great in the future. As of now you should avoid it like the plague.

    It's really bad, I would have a difficult time purposely making a worse battlefield game. In my view they took everything that made battlefield a unique and special franchise and totally destroyed it. As longtime fans of the series, my group and I feel overwhelming disappointment.

    This doesn't even deserve to be called a game. This is literal garbage. Terrible servers, serious graphic issues, hit box is non-existent, etc. Do not buy this game.

    Game doesn't have a campaign. You know when you are buying the game for 80€. But at least you are expecting some narrative, and its there .. for 2 minutes cinematic intro, than its gone. You are starting to game and your mission is push back either US troops or Russia Troops. Also musics are very bad unfortunately. Round Ending themes are way too forgettable. Listened all of the tracks even main theme is not good.

    Tried Hazard Zone and Portal as well but unfortunately at the moment they are not promising.

    I would suggest if you aren't big Battlefield fan, just wait for the Season 1 of this game which will release on Q1 of 2022. Because Battlefield 2042 doesn't worth the 80€. Just Wait for Discount on Q1 of 2022 or wait more for this game to come EA Acces.    … Expand

Kısacası buna benzer bir türlü rezalet senaryolarla karşılaşmaya hazır olun çünkü çoğunlukla bunları yaşayacaksınız. Şimdilik deployable shield kullanan Sniper'lar çoğunlukta :D
    Hikaye modu bulunmuyor. Girer girmez oyun sizi ekstra sıkıcı The division vari bir intro karşılıyor sadece. Botların bana mermi atmasını dilerdim fakat o da olmadı.. Mermisiz bir şekilde tamamladım tutorialı.

    Battlefield 1 gibi muazzam bir işten sonra oyuna hikaye eklemeyip, yeni jenerasyon bir oynanış da sunmakları için EA bu oyun için 70$ ya da 80€ ödemenizi istiyor. Bu da yetmezmiş gibi bir de Season Pass almanız şart bazı Portal haritalarını oynayabilmeniz için. Bu tarz para göz firmaları desteklemeyin. PS5 kullanıcıları için dualsense özellikleri oyuna eklenmemiş. İnsan bir adaptive trigger ekler yahu ne hakla PS5 versiyonu diye satıyorsunuz? Zaten gram vuruş hissi yok en azından belki adaptive trigger bir tık bunu sağlayabilirdi. Bir tık diyorum çünkü bu konuda oyun çok kötü. Son iki Cod oyunlarında dualsense özellikleri çok güzel bir şekilde kullanılmış, hayranı olmasam bile serinin bu konuda adamlara helal olsun derim. Görsel olarak oyun asla tatmin etmiyor, yeni nesil bir oyun değil. Orbiral haritasında roketin fırlatılması, ara sıra hortumun gelip dolaşması, kum fırtınası çıkmasına uğraştığınız emeği oturup biraz oyunun ana hatları üzerinde çalışsaydınız.. Optimizasyon & lag sorunları çok fazla. Savaş atmosferi neredeyse hiç yok. Haritalar o kadar büyük ki oyunda yaptığınız tek şey koşmak olacak. Death Stranding o kadar eleştirildi walking simulator diye madem öyle al bu oyun da running simulator.. Seneler önce çıkan BF 1'in çok daha iyi bir savaş atmosferi olduğu gibi grafiksel olarak da oldukça etkileyiciydi, kaplamaları dinamik hava değişimi çok güzeldi. BF1 bu konuda 2042'den halen çok iyi. BF1'i 7.1 kulaklıkla oynarken, o silahları kullanırken, sağda solda bitmek bilmeyen patlamalar olup duruyorken inanılmaz heyecanlanmıştım oynarken halen daha oynanır. Her silahın kendine özel tepkimesi, sesi ve vuruş hissi vardı. Bu oyunda nedense yapay sesler kullanılmış. Bu sebepten ötürü, silahların neredeyse hiç sekmemesi(warzone a özenilmiş burada ve time to kill süresinde de) vuruş hissiyatını neredeyse hiç vermiyor. Merak ettiğim bir konu var gerçekten. Siz 3 seneden beri ne yaptınız ? 3 senelik bir ürün bu kadar leş olmamalıydı. 3 senede geliştirilen oyunları da iyi biliyoruz. Sanat eseri gibi oyunlar yapılıyor bu süreçte.
    Tüm bu analizleri bir Bf hayranı olarak yaptım bu arada. Cod oyunlarını pek oynamam tarzım değildir fakat denemişliğim var. 2042'de konsept ve vizyon da kesinlikle bana değil. Ben görev yapmasını, squad&takım oyunu oynamasını, strateji kurmasını seven bir bf oyuncusuyum. Eski oyunları seven bir adamın bu oyunu sevmesinin mümkünatı yok. Çünkü ortada elle tutulur bir BATTLEFIELD oyunu yok. Önceden yenilen takıma destekte bulunurdu oyun. Conquest modunda alınan bayrağın önemi vardı. Takıma tank ya da uçak sağlıyordu ekstra. Oyun çok daha stratejikti. Şimdi ondan öte birşey kalmamış. Bu oyuna 2 puan bile fazla. PS5 üzerinden ön siparişimi iptal ettim. Ne zaman EA Access e gelir belki o zaman açıp bir oynarım. 30-40$ 'a satılması gereken bir oyuna asla 70$ para veremem. Çünkü bunu hak eden bir oyun değil.    … Expand

    I can't believe how I've gone from being a die-hard battlefield fan starting with 2 on PC, to hoping the series dies with this iteration. So many of the defining characteristics of battlefield are gone. Squads mean nothing (I don't know why they even exist in the game), there are no classes, and worst of all I can't even pick my gun or specialist because the game is so bugged. The only thing remotely okay is the portal mode, which is literally just a copy of previous battlefield games with this new buggy game engine. Another thing you should know, this game only has two real game modes, both of which are locked at 128 players on maps that are too big and too empty where so that the only viable way to get kills is with a tank, helicopter, or sniper.     Unbelievable, we wait for so long for this release? At least they have to give the game pass free, or full refund! Avoid the game for now for sure, listen me is unplayable, voice is at 30% adaptive triggers are not in use

Бежишь через поле а тебя снайпер снимает с другого конца карты. 128 человек в прорыве превращается просто в какое то неконтролируемое мясо. Отвратительная регистрация попаданий...     I'm not going to list all the bugs/glitches/missing features/ stupid design choices here. Go to redditt for that. All I want is to warn others, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. I have been playing Battlefield for over a decade and this is the last straw. EA/Dice have burned this once beloved franchise to the ground. This game is absolutely soulless. Goodbye Battlefield my friend, it's been a fun ride.

It is now where EA/Dice want to settle down, in between 128 15 year olds solo gamers where no class system matters anymore. Now it looks like a free to play boring world, the maps looks like from a map editor made by some random fans without any love to the detail. When I think to Rotterdam on the last BF game, it looked so good, so much more details. But now, yeah I don`t know...stupid gameplay decisions, headless running around kids, the voice chat is not even working at release...this is a big joke. BF was once the Number 1 online teamplay game. That is the issue, when you just look on other games which seems to work and not thinking about your own strengths as a company. So this is a wild mix out of Warzone, Fortnite, some other wild shooting games where you just run around and skip teamplay. I am really angry about this game and the worst is that DICE even made it...I would have said if it was from another company "ok they tried but failed, give it back to DICE" - well this is going to be ugly in the user reviews for you. It’s not a good game. The maps are poorly designed and way to many issues. I can totally look past bugs, server errors, bloom and other problems that will be patched. But this game is rotten to the core and willDon’t believe positive reviews!! always look at user reviews.     This game is so frustrating. Vehicles are completely overpowering which makes it no fun to play. The aiming and recoil control is ridiculous. I don’t even want to turn it back on. Dice needs to quit trying to re-invent this franchise instead of replicating what made the olds one great. I’m pissed that I spent $100 on the gold edition of this game.

    Massive, beautiful, empty, buggy and repetitive. This whole game feels rushed and barebones, no spoilers ahead because there's no campaign lol. The UI is disgusting (don't know how self-centered and disconnected from reality the UI designer is, praising her own work when it's obviously very disliked by the community), it's cluttered, overly complicated, especially the loadout UI. It neverMassive, beautiful, empty, buggy and repetitive. This whole game feels rushed and barebones, no spoilers ahead because there's no campaign lol. The UI is disgusting (don't know how self-centered and disconnected from reality the UI designer is, praising her own work when it's obviously very disliked by the community), it's cluttered, overly complicated, especially the loadout UI. It never took me so long to customize my weapons, so many unnecessary steps. The respawn UI is terrible too, I gotta fight with it just to spawn where I want to. Now, the main issues with this game : the lack of diverse weapons, absurd bloom, gimmicky animations and the pathetic specialists. There's barely any weapons in the game, (22 in total, excluding Portal) for example there's only 3 secondaries : one pistol, one revolver, one PDW... This lack of weaponry combined with the fact that everyone looks the same is infuriating, this feels like Clone Wars. Specialists encourage players to build loadouts made to go on solo runs on the map, teamwork doesn't feel rewarding and is therefore very faint, running as a NoPat (which btw is a stupid excuse to sell us Siege-like operators) is heartbreaking when I see US or Russian AI soldiers dressed like proper soldiers... And then there's bloom. Holy Jesus is bloom bad. Follow up shots are damn near impossible to hit, random weapon spray patterns are absolutely stupid too. The animations are bad too : running feels like a mix of CoD and Apex, it's all too quick and snappy. I haven't played Hazard Zone yet so I cannot voice my opinion on it. And then comes Portal. Portal is very fun, a heart warming and nostalgic experience brought up to date with beautiful graphics but troubled by the same terrible UI and audio cues that need to be fixed. Portal has the potential to be the game mode people play the most but as of right now it's too empty to hold that spot seeing as there's only 3 games and :
    - 2 maps for Battlefield 1942
    - 2 maps for Battlefield Bad Company 2
    - 2 maps for Battlefield 3

    Overall, the only time this game has made me smile was when I saw Portal. Since then, I've had the same frustrated, stone cold facial expression every time I tried playing the game. It's a shame too cause the game's got promise but when you compare it to Battlefield 1 which came out 5 years and a full console generation ago, you find it hard to believe the same people are still working on Battlefield. Battlefield 2042 is a graphically beautiful game (even though destruction is very lackluster) but it is plagued, and I do mean PLAGUED by the developers' seemingly uncalled for need to reinvent everything. Here's my advice : if it ain't broke don't fix it ! Infantry movement was at its best in BFV, explosions knocking you back, vaulting, fortifications... Everything looks so stiff now, it's a real shame. We shall now see if the overwhelmingly negative reviews filled, I might add, with constructive criticism will have any effect on the game or if DICE decides to ignore everything and act as if their game is perfect.    … Expand

I always thought "I'm a Battlefield fan, it can't be that bad" and blindly pre-ordered the ultimate edition despite all the negative feedback from YouTubers and other internet personas I knew very well have been playing Battlefield for ages. But now I know: ESPECIALLY if you're a Battlefield fan, hold back with buying the game. Try testing it out first, there are many options.     Game breaking bugs. Deployment bug alone renders the game virtually useless. Loadouts disappear and you can't get them back, you have to close the game and sometimes even delete and redownload it completely in order to get ONE MATCH in before it bugs out again. This is on PS5.

    Absolutely HEINOUS miscarriage of duty by EA and Dice.

    if you are a fan of battlefield like me that played bf1943, bf3, bf4, bf1, bfV hear me out: its impossible to play on console against PC players, i feel like a bot running around, and when you disable crossplay you dont find a match kkkkkkkk The maps are so big that the game becomes a walking simulator

Die Grafik gefällt mir sehr gut aber das reicht einfach nicht. Wer BF4 noch immer feiert sollte die Finger von diesem halbfertigen Spiel lassen.

This game is broken beyond belief. It doesn’t feel like a battlefield title. I wish they can refund me. 3 years and 4-5 studios. Plus a delay. Yet we still get a **** product. Cyberpunk all over again.

    Essentially you have a game here which has been stripped of most of the features which made battlefield great. This game does nothing to promote teamwork, and it has little to no identity. This game is just filled with 75% of the players using the same specialist.

    128 player servers had the potential to be great however it has just turned out to be bland maps which are far to big filled with terrible AI bots.

    The glitches and bugs can be ironed out with patches, and I expect they will be resolved over the next 6-12 months however there is no fixing the empty soul of this game. It feels like a mish mash of apex, war zone, and overwatch.

    If you are a long time battlefield fan then avoid this game altogether. If you have not played battlefield before then consider picking this game up for cheap in about a year or so.

    It truly baffles me how far off the mark this game is from being what everyone expected.

    I expected an experience reminiscent of BF4: being one among dozens of nameless soldiers, locked in dispassionate conflict taking place on a landscape that was indiscriminately chosen to be the victim of the ravages of war.

    Feeling truly immersed in a world stricken by poverty, natural catastrophes, and high inter-governmental tensions.

    Keeping with the integrity and foundation of BF4 - war adornments (ribbons & medals), extensive customization (tangible & cosmetic), distinct and iconic roles and playstyles (assault, engineer, medic, sniper).

    The feeling of cooperative embrace, of being one team fighting for each other's survival.

    What I got: a pitiful amalgamation of the most marketable and fast-paced, eSports-esque attributes of Apex Legends, Rainbow Six: Siege and CoD: Warzone.

    Right away, playing the beta made me realize how much of a misrepresentation the official trailer was.

    It's an ongoing, frantic frenzy of ants on a picnic blanket, running huge stretches by foot while all the vehicles are currently away partying on the top-floor penthouses of skyscrapers. It's basically a cross-country running simulator most of the time while the dysfunctional drivers and pilots steal a helicopter at the start of the round to go on a leisure tour the whole game. It shouldn't be that hard to manufacture or purchase dirtbikes or quads en mass in 2042.

    Quirky, superfluous 'specialists' that crack cringy corn-ball quips at the end of the round like, "That was fun," or, "I'm just better than everyone else!", completely dismissing the harsh atmosphere and aesthetic that the initial cutscene paints. That's the kind of flaunty animation sequence you'd see in... perhaps... a battle royale game? I wouldn't be surprised to start seeing first place do the [insert viral physical motion here] at the ends of rounds in the next couple of months. Am I playing Battlefield or Apex Legends?

    I hate seeing a group of identical clones running around while I try desperately to cling onto the tiniest sense of realism or familiarity. This was an issue that others may feel indifferent about. To me, after being subject to this "hero shooter" direction for the past several years, it's the last thing this game needs.

    It's a haphazard mess with several discrepancies and misplaced decisions, flat out lacking many emblematic facets of Battlefield (or ANY triple-A FPS title, for that matter) such as a scoreboard, squad switching, classes, and more.

    What's with this whole No-Pat freedom fighter militia - mind you, with no actual basis or story (R.I.P. campaigns in games) - but then it's just the typical USA vs. Russia trope again?

    Conquest (one of **** two available game modes) is an endless series of frustrating and hectic interactions with soldiers and vehicles, including but not limited to: missing hit registers, sporadic fire patterns, nondescript vehicle damage, inconsistent and poorly designed driving & piloting mechanics.

    The number of bugs, coding mistakes, balancing issues and content voids will probably result in a patch timeline that competes with even those of No Man's Sky and Cyberpunk 2077 because clearly, EA's focus was on "making a game meant to sell, not to play. (~Mr Nobody)"

    I've seen people say they still have hopes for the game's potential.

    The thing is, these aren't issues that can be solved with a 12 to 20-month service life like we thought would solve our complaints of BFV.

    These are inherent creative decisions that go completely against what a Battlefield game is, and would require a literal re-design of most of the game itself.

    There is an utter lack of variety and things to do in the game. I feel like I'm playing a $30 Kickstarter game that got popular on Twitch.

    Battlefield 2042 is just so clearly the outcome of the executive imbeciles at EA believing battle royales are still the absolute formula for good game design, completely overruling any one person's desire to remain faithful to an authentic Battlefield experience.

    There are so many things that they got wrong... the way helicopters behave, the limited gameplay variety, the questionable issues latent in the settings menu, the confusing and unfulfilling weapon & vehicle progression, the unbalanced nature of combat, and more.

    I'm heartbroken that my favourite FPS franchise is trying to be what I despite - COD.

    Seems like everything has taken a step backwards. Poor graphics. Boring interaction with the game, spend most of your time just running to find some action. Just not a good game. And to charge £65 odd for this, just shameful.

    Went back to Battlefield 1 to compare. Makes 2024 look like a game from the 90s. Infinitely better. Save your money and go and get a second hand copy of BF1.

    The Specialist system just ruined this game. You can hardly tell teammate to enemy and on top of that there is no more teamwork as everyone is using what's meta instead of helping with ammo or med packs. Complete betrayal by Dice yet again.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game really fails to live up to the hype that it got. In a nutshell, this game was not worth the $100 I paid for it. It is more of a $30 game at best and here's why:

    -The game has no campaign. I could look past this if the multiplayer had more maps and game modes but unfortunately the few game modes aren't terribly engaging.
    -Basic Battlefield staples are missing such as building destruction, classes, squad play, and bullet drop. This feels more like Call of Duty than Battlefield and it is a terrible letdown.
    -The new way of customizing the weapons is interesting but I think was not well executed. It is clunky and honestly more problematic than it is worth. Again, it undermines the squad strategy play.
    -There's few maps and weapons and the weapons are terribly unbalanced. The assault rifles recoil too much and are unusable at longer ranges. The SMG's by comparison are much more effective than they should be.
    -Marking enemies is almost impossible and you end up marking points on the map instead of the enemy.
    -The game mode most people seem to enjoy is portal where you can play past games. This unfortunately undermines 2042 as a whole because people enjoy the older games instead of the newer game. I'm not sure why that was included when they could have put more time and effort in making 2042 better.
    -Lastly the graphics are terrible. There was so much hype about how much more realistic the graphics were. Honestly even after the game fully buffers, the graphics in Battlefield 1 look better in my opinion.

    The game honestly feels like it was made by the people who were working on Call of Duty. The opening scenes made it seem like they had a good idea for a storyline but it doesn't go anywhere past that scene. There is no direction and ultimately seems like there is no point to it.    … Expand

    While the repetition and lack of content cooled my enthusiasm a bit, I am excited to see where DICE can take Battlefield 2042 from here — if current industry trends hold, I’m confident this will be a strong addition to my already-full shooter rotation after a few months of additions and updates.
