    bf 3,4,1 are the only battlefield worth playing !

    This game feels like a phone game that you know was just kinda slapped together. No real thought, there’s so little to go off of. The rankings feel like nothing at all. Barely any weapons. It makes you not want to play much because there’s not much to look forward to. Boring.

    This game should have been free2pkay! This game doesn’t feel like a finished Battlefield game in any way. Wait until the bottom falls out of the price (which it will). Do not buy at full price. You are not getting a finished game. So many missing features, bugs, glitches and crashes on PS5. Basic gunplay is not good - hit registration and damage is appalling. Especially assault rifles. So,This game should have been free2pkay! This game doesn’t feel like a finished Battlefield game in any way. Wait until the bottom falls out of the price (which it will). Do not buy at full price.     This game is completely broken. There isn't a single thing which works. Hit registration is the worst of any games I've ever played. I mean Destiny had really bad lag, but this one... Most shots (way more than 50%) don't register. There is no Team Deathmatch. There is no scoreboard. Bad map design. Almost no content. Almost no maps. In Portal you can't even make progress.     I thought I was buying a BF game, I just don’t recognize it. It is way too messy too be enjoyable, the specialities, the classes, huge and monotone maps, few weapons, it is just too boring and confusing.
    I am sad because I loved BF, but it is another game, I will take it back tomorrow as I don’t have any hope for it. There is too much work to do just to make a decent    Very disappointing…

    The arrival on map are just stupids and bugged, the respawn sometimes makes no sense, the comments of best players at the end of game are ridiculous.
    No solo campaign, it could be ok if multiplayers mode were nice, which is not the case.

    Another big AAA release in 2021… and ANOTHER HUGE DUMPSTER FIRE. Terrible performance, politically correct inclusions, awful maps, questionable servers. I genuinely can’t think of anything good to say about this game, I know some people enjoy BF portal but all that did for me was help illustrate just how bad modern BF is compared to even BF4.

    Oke there are a some bugs that needs to be fixed, the HUD needs some tweaks, the scoreboard must come back and i really miss the voice-chat (This will make it much more fun). But i am sure DICE will polish this raw diamant. I had lots of fun and the team play is there, but you need to be in a good team.

    I love the game. Yes there is bugs but they will fix it. Gun play is good. Love the big maps. And snipeing is insane. Cant wait to see more content for this game

    MOUSE support for consoles!

    Me, as a most time PC gamer, can't play this game on my PS5 because I don't play FPS on controller, mainly when I play against PC players (crossplay).

I crashed my fighter jet on a couple of buildings and it didn't even have a scratch, let alone get blown up. I destroyed a tree and the branch was flipping around a million times in the air. This game has less firearms than Battlefield 4 at launch, and let me remind you that the latter was $10 cheaper at launch. The greedy developers didn't even bother giving us an offline singleplayer campaign, despite charging $10 more than the previous installments of this video game franchise. You can't even dive while swimming. The customization options are pathetic. The user interface is unbearable.

    This game has no offline modes. So once the developers decide to switch off the servers, this game will end up in the trash can. Charging $70 for a game with no offline gameplay is a cash grab. And the greedy developers have the audacity to charge $70 for only half of the game. The developers were too cheap and lazy to design the other half of the game, which is the campaign.     I have Sat here for the last hour reading through official and user reviews to see what everyone is saying and essentially what i am seeing is people overreacting about how bad Battlefield 2042 is. Bear in mind this game is new and is early access. Every game launches with questionable bugs, glitches, exploits you get the point. Okay there isn't enough gamemodes. I agree, the basic game will get truly repetitive after a long time, agreed. Hazard Zone is a good concept executed badly, could possibly be redeemed but they need to focus on redemption at this moment in time. They need to look at the bad reviews and see what people are consistently complaining about as if you fix/add things people are complaining about to the point where you have covered everything there won't be anything further to complain about.

    My personal opinion on the game is I think its a step down the right path. But the next couple months are crucial to the games success. Its enjoyable, yes but I can see the content lacking very soon. But I think people need to cut them some slack and not one overly critical of the situation as I think its becoming worse the is actually is    … Expand

    I'm so disappointed in DICE. They seem to have completely forgotten what made battlefield good. And they have repeatedly not listed to the fan base. The soul has gone. The game is full of gimmicks. The frame rate makes it unplayable even on a high end pc. Even if it did play well, the UI, the level design, the woke stuff - it's an unmitigated embarrassment.

The fact that it is a demo at best is the least of the problems. The main issue is how unbalanced everything is... the hovercrafts are basically impossible to beat. They are crazy fast, more health than some armored vehicles si can climb up walls... oh,Zero value for the money the hype. Full of glitches and terribly unbalanced. A horrible experience as the game is completely unbalanced. The fact that it is a demo at best is the least of the problems. The main issue is how unbalanced everything is... the hovercrafts are basically impossible to beat. They are crazy fast, more health than some armored vehicles si can climb up walls... oh, and have a turret which kills you with minimal effort. The helicopters and planes don't seem to need resupply so they can just spam you with rockets and can trick the guided rockets. But that's ok, because you only have 3 of those rockets and you will need at least two hits to take down one heli. Now you only have 10 left. Not to mention that the PP-29 is the dream. All you need to do is hit the target and they die. The TTK for this weapon is only rivaled by a shotgun. And you get it at level 18 with almost all the attachments you will ever need on it. Munition is almost impossible to find and it is easier to just die and respawn. Anyways it doesn't matter because there is no scoreboard so nobody will see how many times you've died at the end of the game. Only issue with dying is that you'll eventually have to run a marathon to get from on objective to another. The operators don't really feel special at all and their abilities have almost no effect on how the game goes. But I won't go into details here. You cannot chose a map or server and after 3-4 days of playing I've played some maps on repeat and the ones that I actually enjoy barely a few times.… Expand

    BF3 remains the last good BF release. Since its part of the Portal mode, its also the best part of this game, together with Bad Company 2, but the bad hit detection and overall technical state even destroy this experience. And not only is this a buggy mess, also the design choices are really bad. Specialist destroy the classic BF gameplay. DON'T BUY IT.

    Very disappointing. The graphics and maps look awesome; aesthetics very well done. Other than that just not a fun game to play. The gameplay is just not fluid/smooth. The maps are way too large as well - too much running around and not enough action. This game has great potential but it just simply misses the mark, unfortunately.

I have requested a refund and recommend anyone that has paid for this to get a refund and wait 6-12 months. EA Needs to learn to stop releasing half a game and charging full price.… Expand

    I am a Battlefield Gamer since Battlefield Vietnam. Played 1942 but was too young to really get into it. So I played Vietnam, Battlefield 2, 2142, Bad Company 1 and 2, 3, 4, V and now... This. It is not a Battlefield. It is so bad I don't know where too start. The sound is awfull. The map design atrocious. There are so many things missing that made Battlefield such a unique experience. .

    All-Out-Warfare gives us two game modes, Conquest and Breakthrough. Conquest, the maps are too big, empty, and lack any uniqueness. Whenever a battle is taking place at a capture point, there is nothing about that part of the map that makes the battle unique. Battlefield 3, had more uniqueness and variety in capture points on that map that made each battle at each part of the map more interesting. Breakthrough, vehicles dominate the experience.

    Hazard Zone wants to be a battle-royale, but plays similar to a Vigor. The problem is that there is no real direction on onboarding in the experience. Whenever I am going in, the players I am playing with have no idea what to do or where to go. It's not clear on the objective. It feels half-baked and an afterthought.

    Portal is actually not a bad concept, but it feels like older Battlefield games were shoehorned into this new engine. When I play Portal, I am playing Battlefield 2042 with a three different skins. Again, incomplete.

    As a Product Manager, I would prefer that EA would have delayed the game more to deliver on a more-finished product. I also don't feel as if they did customer research to determine what this user base wanted. Looking at other reviews, following social channels, it seems that the community really wanted the Battlefield V gunplay/engine with a newer more modern setting/guns/vehicles, etc. I mean, simple Product activities like prioritizing features and functionality over core gameplay. Why in the world do we have a Tornado, but don't have more than like six building models and layouts?

    EA, do your due diligence. This is a Product org failure, not the engineers, not designers, not the dev-ops team, not marketing... The Product org. See you guys in about a year when the game is finished.    … Expand

    Controls are shocking - ive been ganing 20years and they are the most inufrating controls I've ever had to use

    No one knows how to revive people, i cant figure it out either

    No campaign either which is such a shame following the campaigns of bfbc1+2 abd bf3+4

    DICE screwed the pooch and let out a game that may function, but is functionally horrible. None of the staples of Battlefield are present, and the game looks more like Battlefront 2 than Battlefield. Say goodbye to the franchise because this is it. The only people positive on the game are fanboys that play pretend on what the game will be. What a joke. Don't trust any positive reviews.

Additionally there is a minimum of structures that can get destroyed. Icebergs don't have a scratch after you shoot with a tank on them, a jet could fly into a skyscraper...nothing. It must've been too much effort to put destructible buildings on the maps. So what they did was put no buildings on the map, just open fields, barely any levels in which between you can fight on. Sometimes you have a single bridge you can go on. The amount of weapons you can play is ridiculous, the specialist's equipment doesn't require any teamplay anymore, players just use hovercrafts to kill any players on open field maps like a vacuum sucking up ants. Recently I wasn't able to play when using Lan. For some reason it always kicked me out before it started and gave me an unknown error. Using WiFi worked until now. I played until level 16. Now I can't play anymore because of an persistent data error message. So basically paid 100€ to play two days in a **** game that I can't keep playing. The error message could as well say: "Hey, our game sucks so much, we're doing you a favor. We still keep your money, Fu** off!"

    This is definitely on one level with Cyberpunk and should be refunded by EA. I hope other players will also raise their voices.    … Expand

The first is that the bullets will go right through the enemy without even producing a hit marker, even if the bullet clearly went through the person. The second way is that the bullets may hit the enemy and cause a hit marker, but no damage will be given to the player. This happens very frequently, more than the former way from my experience. For instance, you may be shooting an enemy and get three hit markers, but the enemy kills you and from their health you can see that only on of the hits counted as damage. The hit registration alone is all the reason anyone needs to realize this game is not worth the money. An argument against this is that it is a bug that will eventually get fixed.     It's... fun... for a while. They took away a lot of what makes BF great (probably to attract a wider more basic audience) so I don't see this being a game I'll come back to unless MAJOR changes are made. If that's the case I'll rethink my rating. But an overall big disappointment.

    The game is a solid 5 out of 10. The weirdest issue with the game is that it has no scoreboard which makes the game feel soulless. The game play is OK to burn an hour of time. After that it becomes pretty stale, especially with the bugs in the game. The one good thing bf2042 has done is that the maps are some of the best maps i have played in a battlefield series.

    Portal alone is a dream. It needs a little more polish but it runs pretty smooth with almost no bugs on PS5 already, just a few glitches here and there. Best launch I remember of a Battlefield.

    Currently lvl 22 and im loving it. The game definitely has a a lot of bugs that needs to be adressed, and some fixes like adding a scoreboard and fixing bullet spread. it’s the only reason I didn’t give it an 8. Most people just hate on the game because they don’t like change. The game runs great on ps5 btw. Except for a couple of spawn bugs that I’ve encountered.

Yes there are bugs, but this game is far from being Cyberpunk. The core of 2042 is fun, All-Out warfare is easily better than anything BF4 has to offer. The days of solocapping flags with no interference are gone! 128 players makes for some wild action movie gameplay moments that was simply not possible with 64 players. I thought the tornado was just another gimmick like Levolution in BF4 but it's dynamic in it's path and rare to see, adding to the visual presentation of the game. Destruction is on par with BFV and is visually superior in some cases. Smoke effects especially on the rocket launch are breathtaking. All the bar pushing visuals you'd expect from a frostbite Battlefield are present. Hazard Zone is a nice take on a tarkov like mode but it needs more meat, there is potential there. Portal is the love letter to fans that dice claimed it would be, I just hope it gets continued support and we get to see more refractor games in the mix. MEC remastered? DICE plz. There are gameplay concerns in this early stage, specialists don't seem as bad as people made it out to be but I'm unsure of where the meta will go as more are added. Will every specialist remain useful in time? The weapon count in the AOW mode is unfortunately low for my liking. Don't necessarily need BF4s reskined guns with the same stats but a few more weapons with actual variety would be helpful. The plus system is also a nice spin on customization but it's somewhat clunky at the moment. Then there's things like supposed sbmm, the lack of a scoreboard, weird weapon spread when moving, or no server browser on AOW etc. These are things that need to be addressed immediately for the long-term health of the game. I don't agree with many other reviews or opinions you may see where they think these things will plummet the game into oblivion, there's just too many positives weighing those issues down. This isn't a BF4 catastrophe, lawsuit filing level launch, not even close to that and anyone who says otherwise is either ignorant or wasn't around back then. I truly believe when the dust settles and more meat is added this game will at the very least surpass BF4.… Expand

    It's the best multiplayer fps game for sure but I don't appreciate the direction EA is taking. First Battlefield is a MATURE audience, most of the gamer are male - 20-45 years old. They do not wish to have a Fortnite experience in Battlefield. + Nothing justified that solo campaign is missing on this game

    There are not many maps, not as much as I hoped for. But I have feeling that this will get better over time.

    There are few anoying bugs, but this will be patched soon.

    I quite enjoy playing Battlefield. Portal is definitely best mode available. It's not best game ever, but if you're not someone who seeks negatives, you can enjoy it.    … Expand

    What happened to Battlefield? this feels like Call of Duty full of arcade-like gimmicks, there are hardly any weapons to choose from, silly classes as opposed to just being a normal solider and to top it all off a battlepass. All they had to do was go back to what made Battlefield 4 and the previous instalments great games. Such a disappointment.

    Besides the expected server errors at launch, Battlefield 2042 has been a great experience for me this weekend. Some of the guns need adjusted, especially the Assault Rifles needing buffed a little, but other than that it's been great. Playing with modern day soldiers and weapons on battlefields of the past and some of the created games in portal have been awesome. on battlefields

    Frustrating pos. Battlefield was my favorite franchise…was. Graphics are sub par for Battlefield. Guns feel like **** Sound is worse then previous games. Worst thing is level design. Some matches are un-winnable due to **** objective placement. All around downgrade. Wish they would have just kept updating Battlefront 2.

    Actually we have to stress BF 2042 has the best sound design we’ve ever heard,
    Music, ambient, gunfire sound very satisfying - there are lot of in common with Hans Zimmer minimalistic style, sound scene is a great work for DICE’s composers,

    Also, the Visual scenes is beautiful too - there are some moments let you feel like you are at Michael Bay movie, it is very encouraging,

    What I really hate, that’s the voices of specialists, it totally breaks game’s narrative, no need in improvements, DICE please just cut the voices off, or give us the option to switch it off at least,

    Also I am not OK with bloom mechanics and random bullet spread, sometimes lucky bullet spread is really frustrating,

    At the end, after 8 days continuously playing BF 2042 and at the 51 level, I wish to say DICE/EA have done good job,

    That’s true, It far away from polish work, it’s far away from BF classic formula, but still it the greatest shooter with tons of fun right know,

    I understand the most negative reviews are coming from the bad optimisation of the game, on the 3060 you have barely 50-60 fps on ultra, so you have to reduce graphics setting, plus 128 players are big amount for mediocre processors,

    On the PS5 the game feels much more satisfying, it performs 55-60 fps at 4k (waiting for accurate digital foundry tests), which is sold result,

    I would put here 8/10, But considering here are a lot of negativity from people who hasn’t ever played this game, I just make it 10,

    DICE please, fix all qns community is asking for:
    - cut off cringe voices
    - return back the scoreboard
    - server fix and hit registration issues
    - more optimisation to rich stable fps
    - weapon bloom/lucky spread

    As for maps I do not understand current negativity,
    There are spots for close range battle, for middle and higher ranges at every map,

    It is not a DOOM game, It is Battlfield formula to make you walk for 10 minutes plus - before you die, and DICE’s task was to make it fun,

Anyway, I'm around 20h in and gameplay and visuals feel amazing. Only problem is Hazard Zone’s load times sometimes takes ages, they need to not kick players in queue and to give us the ability to see how many players have joined. I also hope there will be more gamemodes in AoW. Other than that, this game is great. It is only getting review bombed because of    Early access level 34

A jogabilidade eu, particularmente, gostei também, mas com certeza pode melhorar. A tempestade também é um ponto positivo. Contudo, falando dos que eles(JOGO NO PS5) Peguei o acesso antecipado do jogo, logo eu tenho propriedade para escrever o que eu penso sobre. A jogabilidade eu, particularmente, gostei também, mas com certeza pode melhorar. A tempestade também é um ponto positivo. Contudo, falando dos que eles podem melhorar, o servidor está bastante instável nesses dias. Existem momentos que eu consigo entrar, outros que não. Durante a partida, existe presença de lags ou pequenos travamentos, o que dificulta mais ainda o rendimento do jogador em uma partida que já é muito difícil por conta do crossplay. Os setores do mapa, em que os jogadores precisam conquistar as duas partes pra ter o setor específico completamente dominado, achei que está em tamanhos ideais para a quantidade de jogadores disponíveis, porém os próprios mapas são MUITO GRANDES pra uma quantidade de 128 players. Você muitas vezes anda pra caramba até se deparar com adversários. Caberia mais jogadores sem dúvidas, porém não sei se será possível. Quanto ao menu, existem coisas a serem corrigidas sim. Um exemplo: os servidores das partidas do modo conquista. Tem gente que prefere optar por procurar partidas disponíveis no servidor Br, dos EUA e etc. Para não me prolongar muito, Battefield 2042 é um jogo bom, mas pode melhorar e muito para chegar em seu estágio ideal. Muitos erros precisam ser corrigidos. Minha nota é 7. Antes que me detonem, eu também não gostei de jogar com PC. Agora pensando a longo prazo, vai demorar para o jogo morgar e ficar com servidor mais escasso de players. Agora.. sei lá.. era melhor ter uma opção de não jogar com PC mesmo. Fica bem desbalanceado. Bastava Xbox com PS e pronto. Poderia colocar com PC também pra quem quisesse. Pelo menos, com PC, o jogo se torna mais difícil ainda, que é a graça, mas ao mesmo tempo fica apelão.     tested 10 hours of the full game.. the game is lacking, unfinished and honestly the worst battlefield in years. i enjoyed portal but hazardzone was really bad and empty. The 2042 mode was horrible everything from graphics being meh, no scoreboard, 4 assult rifles?, maps being bad, specialist? love having a wingsuit and just go full speed down and do a vault and keep running. large bulidingtested 10 hours of the full game.. the game is lacking, unfinished and honestly the worst battlefield in years. i enjoyed portal but hazardzone was really bad and empty.     Это лучший Battlefield в который я играл!!! Графика,физика,звук,атмосфера войны на высоте. Не понимаю почему люди занижают оценку этой игре. Я не встретил ни одной проблемы в игре, играю на PS5. Игроков в Battlefield 2042 много, загрузка серверов быстрая. Возможно проблема в том что у людей очень слабый PC и они не могут запустить Battlefield 2042.Это лучший Battlefield в который я играл!!! It’s one thing to criticize a game due to bugs being present (which will be fixed) but it’s a completely different thing to purposefully come on and give it the lowest score possible because you’re mad that your beloved franchise changedThis game is an absolute blast. They managed to fix numerous issues I encountered in the beta that improved the gameplay immensely. The game isn’t perfect but I have faith that it will be fixed just like almost every other game once patches roll out at a more consistent pace. If you’re a fps fan and even mildly interested in this one I say grab it. It’s all out chaotic warfare that’s highly reminiscent of Battlefield 4 with way more action and it’s an absolute blast. The amount of laughter and chaotic screaming I’ve shared with friends since launch has been well worth it. The game has major potential and I’m hoping the devs fix it and get everything going on the right path again.… Expand

    While the repetition and lack of content cooled my enthusiasm a bit, I am excited to see where DICE can take Battlefield 2042 from here — if current industry trends hold, I’m confident this will be a strong addition to my already-full shooter rotation after a few months of additions and updates.
