    Once again another low point for the series, I hate the departure from the assassins story and gameplay looked like the witcher rather than assassins creed. I just wish for ubisoft to actually put the effort for once and make a good authentic assassins creed game.

    Idk why the game gets so much praise. The graphics are pretty yeah, but the levelling system completely lacks substance, the world is bland despite its beauty, and the lack of meaningful side content is abysmal. A lot of cool concepts are introduced, however hardly any are followed up on. Along with this the game is a technical mess plagued by bugs and progression blocking glitches. TheIdk why the game gets so much praise. The graphics are pretty yeah, but the levelling system completely lacks substance, the world is bland despite its beauty, and the lack of meaningful side content is abysmal. A lot of cool concepts are introduced, however hardly any are followed up on. Along with this the game is a technical mess plagued by bugs and progression blocking glitches. The combat lacks any impact, even when playing on a higher difficulty. Eivor is somewhat compelling as a protagonist but in the end they feel very bland and lacking in personality. This point is particularly notable as you spend an incredibly bloated 100 hours with them. Within 100 hours, eivor has less personality than Bayek did in the first section of his game. The bird is pretty cool though I guess. I’m a pretty big AC fan usually, as I really love the historical setting (despite its inaccuracies), but this was well and truly a let down. I hope Ubisoft learn from their mistakes and improve upon the new AC formula. Also the micro-transactions are outrageous, selling reskins of gear that was in odyssey and origins, the price of these reskins? Around $15. If you have fun with this game, that’s great, but as a huge rpg fan I cannot recommend this bloated mess of a game. 4/10, I regret purchasing the game and wish I didn’t complete it.… Expand

    It has a good combat System the Story is somewhat ok. But the Stacking Stones activity is **** I can't 100% the game because of the **** Stones I CAN'T. **** THIS GAME AND **** UBISOFT FOR KILLING AC!!!!!!!!

    This is disappointing. There is some parts of this game that are great but it doesn't feel right. Its better than Odyssey, no doubt but it's going further away from the assassins theme. I don't know how you can call yourself an assassin when your a war lord of sorts. Doing raids, going into full on army battles. There is nothing stealthy about it. Play the first six or so games and they feel like AC games but this is so far from it.

    I don't know what this game is but it isn't an AC game. Finish the series and call this the Battle Through Time series or something cause slapping on the AC badge on this isn't fooling me.

    But if I'm to judge this on its own it looks fantastic and the story isn't half bad. The combat isn't great and the leveling up systems are terrible. Certain areas require you to be at a power of 90 when you could only be at a power of maybe 25 if you were only doing story missions. The game requires you to go around doing random repetitive tasks to move through the game. That's crap.

    This game requires you to loose your mind doing repetitive crap or for you to be crazy enough to pay for an XP boost on top of your 80 euro game. Seriously!

    I think the AC franchise is done. I'm done with it. I'm giving this a four. Some will love it but I'm bothered by it. Damn micro transactions.    … Expand

    Malo, para ser un juego Next-Gen tiene gráficos deficientes, el juego es difícil porque casi no indican los objetivos y uno se queda en el mundo sin saber qué hacer (aunque lo configures para que te de pistas). A diferencia de AC Origins y Odyssey donde los días eran largos y coloridos, en AC Valhalla los días son extremadamente cortos y el juego tiene un color rojizo y oscuro, la historiaMalo, para ser un juego Next-Gen tiene gráficos deficientes, el juego es difícil porque casi no indican los objetivos y uno se queda en el mundo sin saber qué hacer (aunque lo configures para que te de pistas).     Boring is the first word that comes to mind, there’s no reason a game should be this long and be this boring! Repetitive as hell, and the characters other than the ACTUAL assassins are forgettable. Overall wouldn’t recommend unless you enjoy doing the same thing over and over again with a boring story thats only good at the end.

    The most boring AC game i have ever played (played every one last of them). Eivor has 0 charm, Basiim is interesting but only appears in literally 5 missions. Combat system is worst than Odyssey, the animations are trash and the "parkour" is like C-3P0 climbing a wall. Worst AC high diff

    Bleh. Nothing in this game feels good to do, it feels lazy and unfun. I know it's not a very in depth comment, but this game is just a waste of everything that went into it.Leave it to AC to make a viking game boring. Pretty impressive to make something this mediocre at everything. Not to mention this is just too bloated and grindy.

    Valhalla is an unpolished, messy of an AC.
    The sound, still after months after release's still awful. The combat and stealth are the worse we've had on an AC game. The story is god awful, along with the crappy voice acting. It's unfortunately really bad. I love AC series, loved Odyssey, but this one is just trash.
    Don't buy this game, it's not worth. Ubisoft standards are lowering more and more.

    - The story starts a bit strong and interesting, but after 10min or so, it simply tumbled into eternal boredom. I'm not kidding when I say that I almost fell asleep playing this game.    … Expand

    A world that even feels bigger than it’s predecessors bloated with lots of filler content (despite the attempt to replace icons for colored dots), an enviroment (of England) that feels bland except for a number of cities, akward cutscenes because the characters are looking like dolls and pause way too long between sentences, a story that just doesn't seem to get going before the 30 hour mark and a ridiculous skill tree that is so detailed that you don’t feel your progression in game. As much as I wanted to meet with my excitement, this game is too far removed from the Assassin's Creed experience that I enjoy which resulted in a game that felt like one big chore.

Also, I started it on ps4 and now that I purchased a ps5 I have to start from the beginning because it doesn't give me the trophies I've already earned on ps4. Nioh and nioh 2 remastered allows the player to transfer savegames and trophies, why this one doesn't? We don’t want a bad Witcher 3 clone every year set in another part of the world...there are literally 2 Assassin’s in this “Assassin’s Creed” game, that’s 2 more than there were in Odyssey but even that aspect of the game is just pointless because all they do is act like a deposit box for a collectible. Don't waste your money! The gear that you unlock throughout the game looks okay but wait until you see what they have for sale in their store page, store gear looks miles better when compared to what you unlock by just playing the game. They clearly put more effort into the store gear than they do on unlockables. The level of greediness, to sell a game for $60-$70 and still manipulate people into buying stuff from your store by putting the best looking gear in there. They built up the AC series just to milk the player-base but hey we saw what happened to the recent COD and BF 2042 games. At this rate, Assassins Creeds fall is inevitable and I can't wait to be there when the sales drop and players decide that they had enough of your bs schemes. This is no longer a fun game, it's a platform to sell micro transactions and expansions.… Expand

    This game is a chore. For every quest (story was mediocre at best) there is a 40(sic!) collectibles. for the 120h to complete 20 is for a pretty poor storyline, rest is just running around finding keys for chest, or fire barrels for walls. Definitley worst of the last 3 assassins games.
    Dull, boring and repetetive. Dont hurt yourselves and stay away from this bs

    The game is just terrible, its by far the worst in the AC franchise and I don't know how you could fall so far from Origins and Odyssey to this absolutely trash game where the script more or less feels like its been ripped straight out of various movies and tv shows.

    After playing and completing Assassins Creed Odyssey and absolutely loving it..... I moved onto the next chapter in the assassins series.... Only to find a weak and rushed version of its previous game. A great story line and setting... but the amount of glitches and flaws in the game... both on the PS4 and then the migrated continuation on the PS5. Sadly, there are so many glitches, youAfter playing and completing Assassins Creed Odyssey and absolutely loving it..... I moved onto the next chapter in the assassins series.... Only to find a weak and rushed version of its previous game. A great story line and setting... but the amount of glitches and flaws in the game... both on the PS4 and then the migrated continuation on the PS5. Sadly, there are so many glitches, you can even win certain battles by luring your opponent into a glitchy part of the screen, so he is paralysed. Equally, you can disappear under the ground or stick your head through a rock. There’s so many of these glitches, that after a while... you feel you’ve been robbed by a quick and lazy update from the previous assassins game you played. The combat mechanics are so frustrating. The game isn’t fluid enough which is a big factor for me when playing story-based games.     эта часть полная помойка, играл во все части начиная с первой, первая конечно не была с интересным геймплеем но игра сама была как прорыв, потом вышла вторая и я прогуливал школу в свое время, после черного флага и шикарной Юнити(правда разработчики как обычно патчем убили графику, Юбисофт это рак игровой индустрии, зачем резать было если у меня всё шикарно работало?) потом пошла всякаяэта часть полная помойка, играл во все части начиная с первой, первая конечно не была с интересным геймплеем но игра сама была как прорыв, потом вышла вторая и я прогуливал школу в свое время, после черного флага и шикарной Юнити(правда разработчики как обычно патчем убили графику, Юбисофт это рак игровой индустрии, зачем резать было если у меня всё шикарно работало?) потом пошла всякая ориджин одиссея, там от ассасина ничего не осталось но да ладно, конвеер на имени АС, но Вальгалла это совсем уже слишком, игра напоминает на смесь из сессионки из For Honor, паркур уже для галочки ибо это не тот паркур что было на основе Ассасина, графика как по мне не лучше чем было в Юнити, там поработали на отлично… Expand

    My first time playing an assassins creed game. I love history and i love viking mythology so i thought i would enjoy this game. It starts good and the game looks great but after getting to the middle of the story viking raids become very repetitive and the story so so boring. I began skipping through everything just to finish the game and play other things and the ending left me with aMy first time playing an assassins creed game.     Very disappointed. Graphics are phenomenal, the story is OK too, but the steering is SO BAD - especially when you have just played Ghost of Tsushima - where it feels a lot more dynamic. In AC Valhalla, it is too stiff and feels like a classic game: When you dodge an attack e.g., the character throws himself 4 metres to the side.

    Even Odyssey was miles better to play.

    Ubisoft already did Valhalla but better in Odyssey. If you really want to to play these new iterations of AC games that are now action RPGs, don’t waste your time with Valhalla. Even if you make it through the whole game which you probably won’t due to its bloat and monotonous and tedious game design, you’re rewarded with a one and a half hour cutscene that wraps up the plot (which I have to point out has nothing to do with what you spend most of the game doing).

    I’m normally a very generous gamer, I try to see the game for its intentions first and execution second, in Valhalla I realized at about the halfway point their intention was: let’s make a game that’s bigger than Odyssey but with Vikings. Then they stripped good mechanics away for no reason I can deduce, then they managed to churn out a mind numbingly boring story with what might be one of the laziest and insulting payoffs for the player I’ve ever experienced. Don’t even get me started on the side quests.

    To top all of this off, my biggest critique and ultimately what turned this game from passable to downright failure for me, was the length of the game. The amount of filler and bloat injected into this game is almost insulting. Like yes, we’re in the age of peak capitalism and yes we’re all consumers that want to, well… consume. But Valhalla turns media content consumption into a giant pile of flavorless slop, poured into a trough for us to mind numbingly eat like livestock.

    I felt almost disrespected playing this game. Is this really what you see gamers as Ubisoft? Too stupid to figure out where to go so we’re inundated with a record number of map markers, and too lazy for a challenge so even at harder difficulty and with more challenging level scaling, so everything is way to easy and once again, something becoming a common theme in my play through: boring.

    I don’t know how Ubisoft managed to make the Viking conquest of England set in the AC universe boring, but once again Ubisoft never fails to move the bar in the wrong direction and surprise us in all the wrong ways.    … Expand

    Juego en PC y la experiencia es PÉSIMA el juego se cierra inesperadamente de forma recurrente y eso que tengo un hardware aceptable (RTX 3070). Lo peor de todo es que incluso en los diálogos de misión se cierre siempre en el mismo punto. UBISOFT NO LO ENTIENDO y eso que ha pasado un tiempo desde el lanzamiento. Me hago a la idea de porque están atravesando malos momentos. Voy a dejar deJuego en PC y la experiencia es PÉSIMA el juego se cierra inesperadamente de forma recurrente y eso que tengo un hardware aceptable (RTX 3070).     For 3 installments. I think AC had nothing to add except making the make more massive and repetitive.
    I failed to see what's new in this game. The story isn't interesting anymore. It just became more massive. And with being massive. I started to get bored after sometime skipping conversations and just want to get through the game.

    The WORST AC of all time and I played everyone since the first one. Shoulda called this the searching for explisive barrels hours on end simulator, because thats what the majority of your time spent with this game will be. I'm 30 hrs in and give up, this is not anything closely resembling fun

    As much as I enhoyrd it firstly I hated it to the end, the problem not only, that this game is toooooooooo long, to compleate last region, you need to be much more higher level, than you will be at that momebt and you will die more you could imagine. And there I’ve hoped ubisoft will do it right this time...

    This game has an identity crisis! A game which has copied alot of God of War 2018 and a couple of others. It should go back to their roots.... Also it has much quantity and lacks quality! 99% of the side quests were horrible. The mini games were terrible (especially the stones).     It plays more like a beta than a AAA game. Take a look at Ubisoft forums for the many game breaking bugs. I wanted to love this game but it's unplayable from graphic tears, audio drops, and storyline cut scenes not being triggered.. terrible

Same mistake on Odyssey same on Valhalla. The only good thing here are the graphics. The title is big hit only because of the first 3 ac games and because of that the people love the series even if it fails. After that the series starting to take the downfall. From 1 to 10, i give VO and Graphics a 10, Music/Sound an 8 (encounter a glitch) and Open World/Story a BIG ZER0. Why zero? Because they must stop those big maps and if people read some history vikings they will read that vikings never have/had that rage thing today people always mention. Go read Battle of Stamford Bridge to see how they lose from Anglo-Saxons twice that day. Because one strong man hold them in a tiny bridge they think every viking have that rage. In every country and history in the world there is a man with proud and strong will and body. Maybe they must include a DLC in the future, how vikings raid europe and try to conquer Balkans and LOSE to Balkan countries epicly. They take the england story and turn it into viking immigrant story. There is a Scandinavian strong history and culture, and they could create something beautiful and nice from there.     In valhalla as havi we are to believe that they are isu(and that eivor is a sage another reincarnation) (they have many different sages now) they did this in the past with minerva and juno well that was OK but they killed off juno in the comics and we never hear so much as a word about that in the games because ubisoft doesn't want to continue that saga do they
    This isn't an assassins creed game and they shouldn't keep pretending I would pay double for another game like what we got from ezio and altiar the story is terrible it was OK for the first 15 hours or so and then it went stale I was 93 hours in when I realised that this game would not get any better it was a broken mess filled with bugs plot holes and ivar being a tool there were some moments when the game shone like its older versions and I felt the story could go somewhere but they were short lived and forgotten by the ever growing ass faced characters of dag and siggurd being the literal worst and me wanting to uninstall the game and make room for cyberpunk which nomatter how broken had a brilliant story and interesting characters

    The places in the game were many and similar and I found myself unable to differentiate any of the towns and villages the side quests were mostly the same and largely the same save someone or collect something or fall for an obvious trap or lie because heaven forbid eivor the reincarnation of the god of wisdom is interesting

    In the end I googled the endings was disappointed by all outcomes and u installed the game Maybe its my fault for holding the previous games in such high regard but in ubisofts attempt of diversifying their creation they lost sight of the aspects we loved about the franchise each game was building towards something even after Desmond death syndicate gave us insight towards what juno was doing and what assassins in the present were up to and the memories in the past all lead up to the Poe that abstergo was still locating the assassins were an organisation not one man with a hidden blade who can either sneak or fight you could have your initiates rain arrows or cause a distraction while you would slip by and kill your target in the old games some missions required stealth at least unti a certain point and I liked that the protagonist's had a perpous and a personal reason to fight
    Some people may have liked this game some people may have loved this game I almost loved this game in the early hours and I am glad I didn't because after that time frame the game became a repetitive pile of manure with the only loveable thing being a dog and a happy reminder of assassins creed 3 that lasted less than an hour    … Expand

After doing what Ubisoft recommended and uninstalled and reinstalled. All my data is corrupted and now 128H has to be RESTARTED for one minor issue. That doesn't make sense. Be warned if your progress bar is stuck don't listen to ubisoft and uninstall just keep playing and MAYBE UBISOFT ACTUALLY FIX THINGS INSTEAD OF ADDING MICRO TRANSACTIONS!… Expand

Origins and Odyssey had bad parkour, some of the worst in the entire franchise, and Valhalla does not improve on their already low starting point in origins in the parkour standard. Even the combat is lackluster, in origins you had great combat since the environment and presentation was so good, along with the bar system. Odyssey had even better combat as it introduced these crazy abilities which spiced things up. Valhalla adds a stamina bar, and that's it. Every single encounter can be cheesed from a range with the exception of 4 off the top of my head. The game goes on for way too long. I cannot recommend this game to anybody. Em primeiro lugar devo dizer que o game não passa a sensação de evolução e upgrade dos equipamentos, em segundo lugar o som é péssimo pois gera um eco absurdo toda vez que vc chega em um local habitado ou um vilarejo, por outro lado os bosques na maioria das vezes possuem um som sepulcral não há canto dos pássaros ou sequer barulhos da vegetação em terceiro lugar a saturação de itens para explorar, a Ubisoft ainda não aprendeu a fazer um balanço em seus jogos, tudo é em excesso, os mistérios, os colecionáveis, chega um momento em que vc cai no tédio, porém no meu caso gosto de deixar o mapa limpo devido a uma espécie de TOC, entretanto a saturação me desanimou, em quarto lugar o desfecho da narrativa é um fiasco total, os bugs me atrapalharam para adquirir os troféus, não há uma história imersiva o que há, são conquistas indeterminadas de territórios e em muitos casos a cinemática é a mesma para iniciar um ataque final a fortaleza inimiga, não há sequer 'assassinos' no game, pois os que aparecem são na verdade encarnação do deus Loki (Basim) e um aprendiz pé de break (Haytham) que logo no inicio do game ja toma um knockout cabendo a vc guerreiro viking salva o mesmo. Demorou para eu entender que o protagonista é uma espécie de encarnação de Odin e o suposto assassino tbm é encarnação de Loki. Como fã de AC devo dizer que este game é o pior da saga em minha opinião. Depois de 136 hrs de game não consegui platina-lo devido a bugs, ( a feira gigante que tem que me obrigar a me batizar no mistério próximo a Winchester simplesmente não lutou comigo, será que ela descobriu que sou agnóstico?) não houver uma conclusão da história, muito rasa ao meu ver. First of all I must say that the game doesn't have the feeling of evolution and upgrade of equipment, secondly the sound is terrible because it generates an absurd echo every time you arrive in an inhabited place or a village, on the other hand the woods in the most of the time they have a sepulchral sound there is no birdsong or even vegetation noises thirdly the saturation of items to explore, Ubisoft has not yet learned to take stock in its games, everything is in excess, the mysteries, the collectibles , there comes a time when you fell into boredom, but in my case I like to leave the map clean due to a kind of OCD, however the saturation discouraged me, fourthly the outcome of the narrative is a total fiasco, the bugs hindered me to acquire the trophies, there is no immersive story, there are undetermined conquests of territories and in many cases the cinematics is the same to start a final attack on the enemy fortress, there aren't even 'killers' in the game, because the q that appear are actually the incarnation of the god Loki (Basim) and an apprentice break foot (Haytham) who at the beginning of the game already takes a knockout and it's up to you viking warrior to save the same. It took me a while to understand that the protagonist is a kind of Odin incarnation and the alleged killer is also Loki's incarnation. As an AC fan I must say that this game is the worst in the saga in my opinion. After 136 hrs of game I couldn't platinum it due to bugs, (the giant fair that has to force me to baptize myself in the mystery near Winchester just didn't fight me, did it find out I'm agnostic?) there is no conclusion of the story, very shallow in my view. In the end I felt Berserker's anger at Ubisoft. I'm also a big fan of Norse mythology and history, but this game didn't live up to my expectations.… Expand

    On top of the trash fire that this game has become, it has the gaol to charge full price And has over £200 of microtransactions, it's INSANE that this is the state of triple-A games nowadays.

    Garbage. I'm convinced half these reviews are bots. They drop you into this game with little backstory or what you're trying to accomplish. The controls are spotty and the combat system is broken. Trying to emulate Dark Souls combat while simultaneously destroying what built your franchise (stealth) is not a good look. Couldn't get more than 10 hours into this travesty.

    100 hours so far and I enjoyed more than any previous AC game. Now I have a bug that stops me from progressing in the story, which is common to a lot of people according to the forums. The devs are doing absolutely nothing about it. Haven’t been able to play it for a few weeks now. CD PROJEKT UBISOFT

    My first Ubisoft Game after and a long time and the last one for probably ever. Still the usual half finished & bug infested Ubisoft "quality". After 16h in ALL save files stopped working, fast travel stopped working too. It was not possible to crate a new save file. Just bad!

    Quest breaking bug on main A Wise Friend. Known issue where Valkra, get stuck when carrying crates. No fix or work around. It is a main part of the story and is broken.

    As a big fan of assassins creed, I’m really disappointed in Valhalla. To the point when I’m not even sure I want to finish it. The story is boring, the characters are boring, no ISU vaults... You had so much potential with norse mythology... I’m actually angry at myself for buying it. That’s just my opinion, of course.

    Xbox series S: this game crashes every 1 to 2 hours. Its ok if your on the main missions because of auto save but of you go on a raid then be careful. I've stopped raiding because I just always loose my progress or I have to stop two raids in. This game is not ready for prod.

Combat is the one thing that i hate the most, it takes about 30 hits to kill one enemy, all you do is spam R1 and click square once every 10 hits, it's very unsatisfying and becomes boring after a few raids. The Raids... Raids are aIt was sadly a very disappointing experience, from muffled audio to mindless combat button mashing, i had overall a bad time with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Combat is the one thing that i hate the most, it takes about 30 hits to kill one enemy, all you do is spam R1 and click square once every 10 hits, it's very unsatisfying and becomes boring after a few raids. The Raids... Raids are a train wreck, you run around spamming R1 next to every enemy around, there's not much threat really, well besides the broken fire effect. All around the enemy villages there are these stupid vases containing, i have no idea, some kind of explosive that can be triggered by hitting it with an axe. Once it explodes it takes half of your HP, and then puts a fire effect on you, the fire effect is just straight up terrible, it kills you in about 2 seconds and there is nothing you can do about it, you have to use your rations to survive it. The problem is, that the whole enemy village is burning, so once you use up your rations, you'll probably die by the next stupid explosive vase, or by burning to death trying to climb a building, you know, like Assassin's should. But of course, these aren't Assassin's Creed games anymore, Ubi just uses the name to get more more sales, the games itself have absolutely no connection to the story of Assassin's, besides Eivor having a 'hidden' blade of course, which i have no idea why would Assassin's give the blade to some random viking.

    Bland and far too drawn out game. Boring gameplay loop, story was okay but got sidelined by the awful errand-boy main plot and the DLCs are the worst ones in the franchise so far. The only game I ever experienced fatigue in. Would not recommend.

    Bad graphics, bad sound quality, very repetative and to long. Very easy to get OP so it’s hard to enjoy this game, maybe the first hours is good then it’s meh for 40-50 more hours

    I haven’t played an Assassin’s game since Black Flag and I have to say I was amazed with how great this game is. It’s a living breathing open world and I could easily lose myself in it for weeks on end. Beautifully detailed and fully realised locations are technically astounding and a great showcase for the PS5. I haven’t set sail outside Norway yet because there is so much to enjoy in theI haven’t played an Assassin’s game since Black Flag and I have to say I was amazed with how great this game is. It’s a living breathing open world and I could easily lose myself in it for weeks on end. I was surprised this hasn’t got an average in the 90s, but it sounds like it’s been unfairly judged by the number of previous games in the series and the constant need to see improvement.     A game so bloated, so repetitive, so devoid of any genuine inspiration that it relies on an endless drip-feed of upgrades, buffs, cosmetics, etc. to keep the player engaged. A broken lighting system, innumerable bugs, and gross historical inaccuracies top off a thoroughly flawed experience. Do not be fooled by the slick marketing for this game.

    Played every assassin's creed game from the first one up to this one. Never finished Odyssey because it was just poorly made by then I saw this. I've played it for a couple of hours for free on PS plus, well no wonder they gave it away for free. As a huge fan of the series I couldn't even play it for free.     This game is extremely outdated for a game released on the PS5 in 2020. It still has those same garbage lighting effects that every Ubisoft game has. The physics are beyond horrible. The running animations are cringeworthy. The animations in general are so bad, it is embarrassing that there are games on the PS4 that have way better animations than this so-called PS5 game. The world just has a bunch of plants, trees, rocks, and dirt, which is all poorly detailed. That is so boring to explore. Is there any multiplayer to make up for the boring and empty open world? Oh that's right, there is no multiplayer. So once you beat the story, there is not a reason to play this game again. Charging $60 for a game with no replay value is a cashgrab.     Audio on PS5 version has been recorded with equipment from 80’s. That is so poor quality no matter do you have good hometheather or premium headset. Also, game is half assed on every category. Voice acting is in english, but actors try to fake norwegian accent. Makes me want to puke

The side content is non-existent, literally all you do in this pathetic excuse of a video game is ride your horse for miles upon miles to press a triangle to pick up a wealth or do some stupid and uninspiring world event like talking to someone for 10 seconds and then leaving, most of these activities are also broken or glitched. The worst thing is that you need to grind these events to level up before you can go to a higher level area unless you want to get one-shot by the enemies. Talking about glitches, this game has a plethora of bugs and issues that really affected my experience, from minor visual issues to more severe and game breaking bugs. I admit some of them were very funny to experience like flying enemies or me randomly leaving the earth’s orbit but mostly they were annoying as hell. I played as a male Eivor but for some unknown to me reason everyone referred to me as a she and wanted to bang me, not sure if that’s a glitch or the developers couldn’t be bothered to record a few more lines depending on your gender. The world is pretty empty though gorgeous at times. Enemy AI is pretty much broken and I might even say non-existent, too many times I was fighting with a group of enemies and most of them just stand around doing nothing especially archers that seem to glitch all the time. Raiding is boring as hell as all you do is just find a bunch of chests and press the damn triangle to open them, that’s it, that’s the raid done. I liked the Vikings and all the stuff about Norse mythology and the modern day story-line but everything in this game is either bad or mediocre at best. I honestly don’t know why people are praising this empty buggy game. I’m not looking forward to future Ubisoft games if they will release them in this state. I’d give it a 4/10 but seeing how many fanboys are giving this game a 10/10, I’m giving it a fat 0. I understand that you might enjoy this game but it’s objectively boring and repetitive, and definitely not deserving a 10/10 but I guess the vikings made everyone wet their pants. Pathetic… Expand

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
