    This game blows most 2020 entries away. Of course it had some bugs at launch, they fixed it basically with 1.0.4 patch. I played 3 hours after patch came out and haven't had any problems since. "Force Open Door" works perfectly now.

    I like this series so much, makes me feel like i'm actually going back in time and thank god they choose Norway-England setting in 2020, so it could be shown with best possible graphics. One of my favorite regions in Europe.

    30 hours in and i'm very confused what "before you buy" was talking about. Maybe he really is just tired of these games and that's fine, but this one is million times better than Odyssey and very good AC game. So yeah, maybe i should trust myself more than watch some youtube videos.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla belongs to my top 10 of 2020 list. Absolutely nothing would take it out from that list. So good.

    There's a lot of room for improvements and i bet Cyberpunk comes out before all these can be applied, but i think they will support this game for long time into 2021, so it's all good. So far impressions are very positive.

    Seems so underrated or maybe it's just haters who make it look like it's underrated? idk, either way recommending, if you like open world games that have tons of stuff to do.

    This game has possibly most relaxing and same time hype music i have ever heard in video game. It's not some random tunes, but really well made soundtrack. Game is good too.

    I preordering it in June i think, i was 50/50 at first, but i was like "whatever", because setting was very promising. I had high hopes, but didn't want to over-hype it either. now been playing it 10 days or so and it's so good.

    Runs well on PS5, seems like latest patch fixed most serious issues. Overall very fun and beautiful game.

    Ubisoft somehow managed to make really good game in like 2 years, nice. Far Cry 5 had nice graphics, but story was meh and Odyssey was cool at first but overall it was meh. I don't even wanna mention last year's Ubisoft games. Valhalla turns the tables. Hopefully Far Cry 6 continues this trend and they actually stay good, how nice would that be.

    I get serious Black Flag vibes, even tho i liked Unity too (i don't care about rough launch, they fixed it). Very good, hopefully DLC's are equally good.

    I'm someone who really thinks deeply what games to spend my time on and what not. So far been playing Valhalla about 20 hours and i can already tell that i'm easily going to 100's. Very addicting and beautiful graphics too.

    I would say this might be one of the best ones yet. Graphically absolutely stunning no matter where you go, lighting is so good in this game. Snow effects in Norway are also almost top tier. Story is really long and most of the times interesting. Good.

    Hands down best video game of November 2020. After playing it over 30 hours i could actually held debates about why it's so good and i would win each one of these easily. Nothing beats it from November line-up. But not only that, it's good even in general 2020 gaming terms. To me it's in same boat with Doom Eternal and Final Fantasy VII Remake, all very different games, but i have veryHands down best video game of November 2020.     You can't expect best graphics/fps, etc. You just can't, it's 2020 game, i'm sorry to break it to you, but it's time upgrade. If you really wanna play it on ps4 then ps4pro is your best option.

My favorite games were GTA 4, Max Payne 3, Alan Wake, Skyrim, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Red Dead Redemption, stuff like that. But when Assassin's Creed 4 came out late 2013, that was first time i actually got interested. They innovated so much within 2011-2012 i always knew that something called "Assassin's Creed" existed, but it never really interested me, i simply didn't care about it. My favorite games were GTA 4, Max Payne 3, Alan Wake, Skyrim, Dead Space, Resident Evil, Red Dead Redemption, stuff like that. But when Assassin's Creed 4 came out late 2013, that was first time i actually got interested. They innovated so much with that game, it's crazy. More i played it, more i liked it, i started looking up historical facts about that era, etc. First time ever I really liked Assassin's Creed game and from then on i have been huge fan. Yeah Unity had awful launch, but they pretty much fixed it in first 2 months and i almost hate that people bring it up all the time, because so many games have had absolutely awful launch, but they never get so much whining, maybe it was because AC is so popular idk. Either way Unity has best parkour of the series and graphics that still impress me today. Odyssey was kind of mistake imo, because story was meh and it grindy. Now Valhalla fixed it all and bring back stuff i loved from Black Flag and parkour elements from Unity. Overall Valhalla is very good AC game and better than last two.… Expand

I think any reasonable person would do that before paying 60 dollars. I would never but Marvel's Avengers, already knowing that i will hate it and then gonna give it 0/10. Makes no sense.     Positives so far: Graphics, Story, Likable Characters, Open-world, Variety of Enemies, Secrets, Classic Assassin elements are back.
    Negatives/Could be better: Needs some improvements, but overall very solid, specially after patch 1.0.4 that fixed lots of issues for me.

    Never cared for Odyssey, Valhalla is so much better. No grind as far as i can tell and game is actually interesting this time. You get 2 skill points for basically every mission you complete. Power level goes up fast enough. If someone think this is boring, i'm sure you will your "FUN" out of games like last of us part II.

    I finished Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate and Origins while preparing for this and it's so enjoyable so far. Story hooked me from the beginning and i love sailing in Norway, super relaxing. Combat is very brutal this time.

    Runs so much better on ps5 than ps4, but that's like obvious expectation. it's playable on ps4pro tho. Specially good on ps5 after latest patch (1.0.4) because now you can choose between performance and quality mode.

    I play it mostly on PC, but i have PS5 anyway so i tried it on this as well and to me everything runs well.

    Norway / England have been created pretty well in this game and some other locations too.
    So far 50 hours in and i love it.

    MESSAGE TO PROFESSIONAL REVIEWERS : If possible and if by any chance someone hasn't posted their review yet, please post at least 1 or 2 reviews more for PS5 version. Otherwise this game doesn't get any rewards like "most discussed ps5 game", etc. It's extremely important that this version of AC Valhalla gets attention, because it runs so much better than ps4 version.

    PC version is easily best version of this game, but it's really nice what they did with ps5/xbox series x/s. Very beautiful graphics and fun story, i'm sure most AC fans will like it.

    Good comeback Ubisoft! This game has way more depth than i expect, hopefully that's how Ubisoft main titles will be from now on. At least AC and Far Cry.

    Might be my favorite map of any Ubisoft game ever. Sure, i like Paris in Unity and Black Flag has generally interesting map, but Valhalla is just new level. Very beautiful game.

    One of the best in the whole series, surprise hit basically. I was worried it might fail and if it failed it would have been pretty much over for AC, thankfully it's solid.

    Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the best games of 2020. Yeah it needs some improvements and bug fixes, but it's generally fun and good game.

    It's very obvious that those who give anything under 7/10 have been used to play boring, linear story simulators that require no thinking, exploration or freedom of choice.     Those who have last of us 2 rated as 10/10 and just come here to give Valhalla 1/10 without even ever caring about this series must some kind of new low. This is beyond pathetic. I don't wanna know what kind of disgusting empty and hateful people these are. Valhalla is amazing.

    I have always liked Assassin's Creed soundtracks, they hit the nail basically every time, but this one.....this one might be my favorite. Specially main theme, but there's also so many good themes that play while you just free roam. Very well made soundtrack. Been playing around 25 hours i think and story is well written, but what really impressed me was graphics.

    Very impressive game, huge landscapes and mountains to climb, engaging story, good music, more of this Ubisoft and less of whatever "Breakpoint" was.

    Amazing game! But Ubisoft come on, you need to bring it to steam. It's so important and you would get so much sales from there as well. I understand that you want to promote your own store and that's completely normal, Rockstar is doing exactly same thing, but they also put their games into steam. Why not both? And AC Valhalla sold a lot anyway from Ubisoft Launcher, so it wouldn't hurt inAmazing game! But Ubisoft come on, you need to bring it to steam.     Runs well after latest patch, i have still noticed some minor bugs, but these have been very rare, overall it's epic. So much better than i expected.

    Very nice, specially Norway because i like this all snowy/ice area. But England has also really interesting locations. Hopefully Ireland brings something new again and i have no idea what to expect from Paris? I have no idea what Paris looked like in 800s so yea.

    There are two competing experiences here: that as as Assassin, and that as a Viking, that either on its own feels like it might have been a triumph and better than this good but not great Assass-king hybrid we have.

    Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla effortlessly plants its banner as the best open world RPG available for the new consoles. This Viking epic flexes its gore-soaked, tattooed muscles when it comes to world-building, and medieval England wows with its enchanting untamed vistas. It’s also portioned out at a steady pace and, if not for the repetitive, limited combat, Valhalla could have ranked even higher among our favourite games in the series.

    Is Assassin’s Creed Valhalla the best entry in the series yet? Some would be tempted to say so. While the map size might overwhelm some players, it remains an easy game to mainline with the right navigation mode turned on. In fact, the quick load times help to make this an even easier task than in previous generations. This is an iteration of Assassin’s Creed that has a bit of everything from the previous games, as refined as we have seen to date.
