    Esperé años para la 2da parte, 7 malditos años para cagar la historia. Quién en su santo juicio piensa que insultar de tal manera a sus fans mayormente gente adulta (no niñitos drogos) sería una buena idea? Por que es lo que hicieron insultar y cagarse en la espectacular historia de tlou 1. Si quisiera ver una película veo Netflix y no compro un juego.     This game broke my heart, the only thing that was good in it was the gameplay, I believe that people worked hard on him and worked on every element, but neil drahman ruined everything. The whole plot is pulled by Joel, but because the nile did not like him, the nile leaked it. Here.

Okay SO verdict on the last of us part II, firstly I'm gonna give it a 8.5/10,,,originally it was even going to be a 10/10 because loved the first part of it so much but the whole gameplay with Abby I just felt went on too long, I found myself getting through it not out of genuine interest but more because I just wanted to get back to playing Ellie. In my personal view, the writing isn't as bad as people say, I just felt like the timing was off with Joel’s death, it wasn't the fact that it was done but more when they chose to do it, it felt too soon and I wish we were given more time, if I had it my way we would have a bigger gameplay at the start with Joel and Ellie, then the main storyline with Ellie and have Abby's part be a smaller one because...that part just didn't work for me. I found myself not enjoying it as much or getting excited, all I wanted to do was get back to Ellie, which might be me being biased because ellie is one of my all time favourite characters.

    I do think people are being way too harsh on this game just because it wasn't what everyone expected, in my opinion too much was put on the shoulders of this sequel and everyone expected it to be incredibly perfect but the way I see it, in the world you're playing in all bets are off.

    The ending,,,I understand why people were pissed, for me it felt too backwards. Ellie gets into a brutal fight with Abby; Abby leaves then over a year has past and Ellie leaves Dina and JJ behind to find her again only to then let her go? I understand the sentiment of Ellie learning that everything she had done in Joel’s “honour” didn’t help her and killing Abby wouldn’t bring him back like,,,I understand that but shouldn’t that have happened in the first big fight and then just end it with her getting closure on the farm with Dina?

    The ending has been left kind of opened yet again, which I do appreciate because then it can be left to interruption as to what happens, personally I think Ellie goes back to Jackson to find Dina (let’s face it is where she’s gonna go she wants safety for JJ) and gets forgiveness and her family back,,,I don’t know if I want a full part 3 bc it scares me what they could do lmao BUT a DLC (or a graphic novel) of Ellie and Dina making up??? Yes please I would love that.

    Anyways I really did love this game 90% of the time with Ellie and Dina, who was a brilliant character that brought a lot of light to the plot and Ellie herself...of course there are elements I wish would have done differently but overall I found it a great follow up, it’s just a shame of some of the choices made in the rounding up part. I hope that something is made in the future to maybe level it out, still I’ll say all the Ellie parts were a 10/10 for me.

Players were deceived with the trailers, the whole point of trailer is to show the audience what they are paying for but here I just feel cheated. Like in MGS series and FF, you have very strong and powerful characters, you see your favorite characters change from good to evil, from evil to good etc. But I never felt like forced to play those games, here I felt like turning off my console so many times. If naughty dogs really tried to be Kojima here, they should have at least reviewed his work as well. I would just pretend this game didn't happen and I wont be pre-ordering any games from these developers in future without seeing public reviews… Expand

    Stunning graphics, excellent voice acting, mediocre soundtrack, dated gameplay, dated AI, horrible story, and to top it off the complete and utter betrayal of fans just to push a “woke” narrative. This game is an abomination and should not be considered cannon.

If you didn't like that gameplay, you won't like part II's gameplay. the story is alright, not great, but the part that was hardest for me was having to play as abby for 8+ hours straight. the pacing was very off, which is unfortunate. I would have enjoyed this game much more if ellie's playtime and abby's playtime was split equally on each day and not at the end of journey in seattle. this game had potential, unfortunately it didn't completely live up to the hype for me. still a solid game overall.… Expand

    I finally finished the game and I just want to make it clear how disappointed I am. This game has so much potential but falls on its face more than anything I have ever seen. I'd like to list some pros for this game before I explain. The level design from a graphical standpoint and flow standpoint is incredible. The character models are amazing. Sound design is amazing, and finally, theI finally finished the game and I just want to make it clear how disappointed I am. This game has so much potential but falls on its face more than anything I have ever seen. I'd like to list some pros for this game before I explain. The level design from a graphical standpoint and flow standpoint is incredible. The character models are amazing. Sound design is amazing, and finally, the controls and mechanics really do feel flawless. However, in a story-based game, all of those things don't matter if your story is a complete dumpster fire which this story is. Characters lack any sort of development. I literally don't care when anything happens to anyone, but Ellie. Every single one of them could die and it would not change how I felt about the game or them at all. The only time I feel any sort of emotion is in flashbacks because that's the only time I see any sort of character development at all. Otherwise, this game left me bored out of my mind. I found myself working through areas faster and faster just to get to the next cutscene in the hopes it would get somewhat better spoiler alert it does not. Most of the character development and good thought out story bits you're going to see are within the trading cards you can find throughout the map as collectibles and honestly, I'd rather read and collect all those than ever play this story again. The second issue I have with the game is with the ending I won't spoil it for anyone, but those of us that played the game understand how bad it truly is and I don't think that we would be having this discussion if it was at least a choice. However, it is not you are forced into the decision it makes, which I can guarantee is not the decision 95% of the player base would have made. The ending straight up feels like a slap in the face as you have worked the entire game for one goal and it makes all that work and effort useless. That's why I gave this game a 3/10, everything about the game is great except for the story which is a major issue in a story-based single player experience. To the team at Naughty Dog who worked on this game brushing up the mechanics, creating the environments, and working on the sound design you did an amazing job. To the team at Naughty Dog who wrote the story, I hope you never touch another project in your life. Just to reiterate this story is so poorly written that imagine if in Uncharted 4 instead of its ending Nathan gives up on his quest halfway through and goes home. That is basically how I felt after this story, honestly, I'd ask for a refund but at this point, I don't even care. I don't want to spend any more time thinking about this game, playing it, or writing about it; this is it. Finally, I am incredibly disgusted by the way Neil has handled the backlash. I'm aware this game has been review bombed but for those of us who actually played the game, his reaction to our criticisms seems like another blow to the gut. On Twitter, he's made jokes about the reviews and that's just a shame he can't admit to his own shortcomings and mistakes, but I really do expect nothing less from him as he's clearly shown he does not care about fans from the story he's written. That is why this game is a 3/10. I'd recommend never touching it, don't let it taint your opinion on the series like it did mine. Just know Ellie and Joel are out there surviving just like the end of The Last of Us and let it end there. Thank you for taking the time to read this large review I truly hope it helps some of you find peace knowing you're not alone in your thoughts even if the Games director will laugh in your face, and I hope those of you who have not purchased it now have some sense of the anger the community has felt and will think twice.… Expand

    The first game had such a touching story and actually good gameplay. Getting the sequel seemed like such an obvious thing to do! but after Joel gets killed so quickly I started to have my doubts. I caved and looked at one of the streamers who played the game early and just saw him running through all encounters without a **** care for the enemies around him. Ellie just goes, "naw" and lets them go. Naughty dog has had such an amazing track record as a company with their games. The uncharted series had an amazing indianna jones style of story that never seemed to get worse with each installment. So how did they manage to **** up this badly?… Expand

If you want to play for the combat and liked the combat of the first game and then its a lot of the same thing for 25 hours and you might like it. But if you are playing for the story and want to experience something as amazing as the first game then stay away from this one.You will be seriously disappointed. Acabei de terminar o jogo com 22 horas de conclusão, o jogo é bom em vários aspectos graficos, jogabilidade e trilha sonora mas ele da um tapa na cara dos jogadores com a cena da morte do Joel pois ela é ridícula e mal feita, acredito que o Joel deveria ter morrido nesse jogo mas o jeito que fizeram isso foi muito ruim pois a cena foi humilhante pra um personagem totalmente amado pelos fâs e foi contra seus princípios do primeiro jogo onde ele era cauteloso e um sobrevivente-nato apartir dessa cena tu não joga o jogo do mesmo jeito outro ponto que me deixou triste da história foi quando temos que jogar com a Abby até chegar no teatro onde tu literalmente luta contra a Ellie controlando a abby e tu é obrigado a quebrar a cara da ellie. O jogo te conta a história da Abby e tals mas tu não pega empatia pela personagem outro ponto importante é quando o Jesse morreu , ele é um personagem que a gente não cria empatia e quando ele morreu eu literalmente liguei o dane-se para a morte dele se ele não estivesse no jogo não iamos sentir nenhuma falta do mesmo. I want a little logic, even though the game developers do not value the abby character (we can understand this by not showing abby in the game trailers by not showing the abby character on the game covers) , how can we think that the players love to be connected to the abby character. Instead of separating the characters for 3 and 3 days in the game, we should have played the ellie character in almost the whole game, it is really disappointing on the player side. Even if the game is a legend with its gameplay dynamics and many features, it deserved to get negative points with its story.… Expand

I’m not sure if all the negative reviews are from homophobes or people who just didn’t play for a couple no hours first to get the game and main story line going. I honestly suspect some homophobic group got together and decided to bash this game—just my opinion.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I played part one several years ago, and it was spectacular and I'd consider it one of the best games I've ever played.
    I've been looking forward to this game since the day it was announced and have literally been counting down the days- I got hit with spoilers which is a huge bummer but I still kept my head high and had faith in Naughty Dog to pull off a masterpiece like they did with the first game. Sadly, and in my personal opinion, they didn't pull through.

    The game-play mechanics and graphics are absolutely incredible and it is obvious that they took every small detail into account, but where it fell short was the story and this is why.
    You play half of the game as Joel's killer which I thought was a complete bore, I didn't really enjoy playing as Abby whatsoever despite ND's attempts at making the player like her and paint our beloved main characters from the first game as enemies. I never expected myself to be rolling my eyes and yawning during the game I held a preorder with for just under three whole years.

    Certain characters were also unrecognisable and had all the qualities which made them so loved in the first game thrown away completely.

    The ending was unexpected, but anticlimactic. Ellie has killed hundreds and hundreds of people without hesitation, but when it comes to killing the person who shot Joel's leg off and murdered him with a golf club, shot Jesse in the face and killed him instantly, and shot Tommy in the face with the intent of killing him but missed his brain- she decided to let her go.

    If I was rating the game off of game-play and graphics alone it'd be a 9.
    If I was rating it off the story alone it'd be a 3, which is thoroughly disappointing from a company which I had so much faith in.    … Expand

The characters could be all straight and the game would still suck, there's plenty of games that have included lgbtq characters and people still loved them. the really great graphics and perfect animations + soundtracks are the only pros that deserve praise.

    The Last of Us Part 2 is technical triumph but a narrative disaster. The writing in the game is amateurish to the point that it's difficult to believe that it shares any DNA with it's predecessor. One facet of the first game that it was universally lauded for was the believably of the events and characters. The way the story unfolds in the sequel is the complete opposite of this. As much as you may disagree with a story's main beats, if the connective tissue is well crafted and cohesive and the motivations and actions of the characters feel genuine, then it will still resonate. Nearly every major story beat in TLOU2 comes by way of uncharacteristic stupidity and incompetence from the cast of generally unlikable, charmless characters; or by way of outlandish coincidence. One particularly galling recurring contrivance is Ellie's plot armour. The antagonists of the game have multiple chances to off her, but instead let her live for no conceivable reason, instead tying her to a table or some other cliche while they wait to be killed. Ellie herself has matured from a quirky, endearing, sightly rebellious teen into the personification of wallpaper paste. In fact, most of the characters are as bland as a bread sandwich. Frankly, the game as a whole is devoid of any fun or personality, with the exception of a few scenes featuring what made the first game work so well: the relationship between Ellie and Joel. These are few and far between, however. Separating herself from the bland cast of characters is the despicable Abby. Abby makes for a pretty good villain. You hate her. She's a mean, disgusting psychopath (her breathing like a pig in heat was particular repulsive during a certain scene). The problem with this is that she is also the second playable character. ?????? Moving on. The game's technical achievements and solid gameplay loop save it from being a complete failure. The game is undoubtedly the pinnacle of what a game can look like on the current hardware. The facial animations in the first game blew me away and the exact same is true in the sequel. The gameplay in the first game split people into 2 camps. Either you found it a terse game of cat and mouse which could explode into a frantic and brutal melee after a single slip up (like me), or you thought it was something you had to get through to reach the next cut scene. Well, it's essentially the same here but with a bit more going on. Not a lot more to be honest, but I think enough to feel somewhat distinct. Basically, if you liked playing the first one, you'll probably like playing this one. One gripe I did have was the unnecessary jump mechanic. You jump like an anvil in treacle, missing the mark often. When you do eventually make a jump, you will often cling onto icy metal or perform some other improbable feat of superhuman upper body strength. A fairly minor quibble but one I felt like mentioning. There's plenty more to the story and the writing I could complain about but I feel like this review has gone on far too long already.

    To sum up, the game is a jarring, unpleasant experience that I would not recommend. If you're thinking of picking it up, watch the first couple of hours first and then make an informed decision. I hope I've articulated why the game is in fact bad, for anyone who thinks that it's just being review bombed by sexist alt-right scum or whatever. It's a sad day for Naughty dog fans.    … Expand

So here is what I think: Pros: - gameplay - graphics - atmosphere - sound - music All those parts are undeniable very good. Its top notch. Sure the controls sometimes feel weird but they do in most of the games. It would be unfair to say this game isnt up to date in terms of all those points I mentioned. Cons: - story - character design - character development - plot holes So, even with all the pros this game is really really bad. It makes NO sense that Ellie act how she acts in certain parts of the game but that isnt even the biggest thing about why its bad. The reason is: character development. If you kill one of the most beloved characters early in the game (Joel) and want to bring in new main playable characters like Abby, you HAVE to bring WAY more backstory in order to make the player feel with her. I mean she KILLED Joel! How do you make the player like her? Bring more and more backstory before she does that. Let the players play 2-10h as Abby when she was a child or whatever. The backstory of her is basically told in 10minutes and then her dad is being killed. Thats it? And now I have to feel with her and understand why she killed Joel? Hell no! That is weak story telling. Really really weak. Then there are all the other new characters. Nobody is likeable. Like really. They all feel empty. They are only shells without any meaning. This game is just bad. Do yourself a favor and dont buy it. The reviews the journalists wrote are either bought by Sony or ND or are heavily politicly influenced. Sad thing is: because of that same journalists will most likely make this game GOTY. What a joke. Safe your money and buy something else. And last but not least: this is technically a very good game but the story/characters is/are SO bad it just doesnt matter how well the rest is done. You want a good revenge story? This game checked off many of the current SJW check-boxes also, gay female main character, check, a strong independent woman as a villain, check, a PREGNANT woman going into battle with literal psychopaths, check, man weak women strong, check. I bought this game thinking I'd be playing this **** over and over like the first one but, was immediately disappointed when the credits rolled. And the ending, ohhh that **** was SOO DUMB. Imagine going on a killing spree, killing everybody even remotely close to Abby, and in the end not killing Abby because "dig two graves if you want revenge and revenge bad" clichés. It was the most aggrevating ending to a video game ever. They better not make TLOU3 or they'll go bankrupt. This was their shot, ND took it, missed it. As a fan of the first game, though, I feel like I had to experience it myself, even if I DID hate it. I'm glad I decided to do that, because I don't hate the game. That being said, I can't really say that I like it all that much, either.

    The soundtrack is still really good, the graphics are incredible, and the gameplay is objectively better than the first game's, though the camera could be a little wonky sometimes. I swear I never had that problem in the original.

    The story, however... wasn't the greatest. I enjoyed the first half of it, playing as Ellie hunting down Abby, but once I was forced to play as her, everything went downhill. I'm not particularly upset about Joel dying, actually. Abby and her group had a solid motive, and it gives us a reason for the entire rest of the game to happen. Besides, pretty much everyone guessed he would die long before the leaks came out. It wasn't hard to figure out, considering we knew it was a revenge story. What else would Ellie want revenge for?

    Back to Abby, though. They tried way too hard to make you start liking Abby after we already watched her beat Joel to death. The second she killed off the best character in the series, I hated her and her entire group. They try too hard to make the rest of her group likeable, too. Am I supposed to like Manny after he spits on Joel's corpse? I was glad when Tommy blew his face off. It's just unfortunate we as the player couldn't do it ourselves. We all wanted to.

    Am I supposed to like Owen, who cheats on his pregnant girlfriend? Yes, I'm bringing up the sex scene. It felt incredibly forced. Even before then, it was obvious he and Abby had a thing, but he was clearly dating Mel the entire time. The only things I actually enjoyed during the entire time spent playing as Abby, were Lev and the rat king boss fight. Even then, the rat king obviously isn't a character, and it hardly had any effect on the narrative any more than any other clicker or bloater does.

    If they wanted us to care for these characters even a little bit, they should have had us playing as Abby for the first half of the game, not knowing who she is or what her group is doing, but as time goes on we realize she's hunting down Joel. I think a good time to switch over to Ellie would be when Abby finally sees Tommy came after them, and realizes that he's probably not the only one. Then, when we switch to Ellie, it basically starts right where we did after Joel died. Never switch to Abby again after that. But clearly, they didn't go that route.

    Skipping to the end of the game, it was really disappointing that Ellie went all the way across the country THREE TIMES, just to let Abby leave and cross the country a fourth time. I get the point was that revenge is bad and will only continue the cycle, but it would have been better if Ellie killed her, just to realize it didn't make her feel any better. Joel's still gone, and now so is Jesse. Tommy's missing an eye and has a **** up leg. It really only made things worse for everyone, so what really was the point? That's how it should have been handled, I feel.

    Speaking of the ending... am I really supposed to believe Abby could even begin put up a fight after hanging on one of those pillars for who knows how long, on top of clearly being incredibly malnourished for months? I know Ellie was hurt, but she should have mopped the floor with her.

    All in all, it was a painfully okay game. It doesn't hold a candle to the first game. It's unfortunate because the parts of this game that I liked, I REALLY liked, but there was an entire half of the game that sucked and I can't look past that. If you're just in it for the story, you're better off just watching a playthrough on youtube.    … Expand

The game quickly follows the journey of Ellie, and also Abby as you quickly find Joel is removed from the game in the most distasteful way possible and feels like a stab to the stomach for most fans. As you continue the journey the game becomes more and more female orientated and and instead of focusing the Ellies anger over joels death, it turns into a lesbian love story. It has lost the essence of what the first game had and slowly becomes more and more unsatisfying to play. The last of us ISN'T the Last Of Us without both Joel And Ellie.. LOU2 has made me push naughty dog out of the love box and into the trash. I will not be buying anything naughty dog again. Thank you Halley and Niell for destroying what the last of us meant to us and disrespectfully rubbing it in our faces, you should be ashamed of yourselves.. After almost six years of waiting and waiting for a stronger or a similar game to its predecessor, we got The Last of Us Part 2, which is pretty fragile and weak compared to Part 1.
    The first installment of the game was really entertaining and the story was solid and intriguing. The characters were strongly built and they made the players connected to them emotionally. On the contrary, This game story is solely built on the average revenge storyline. The characters are weakly built on feminism and sex. For that every moment they make a sexual reference.There is a pretty clear propaganda for the far leftists, LGBT and feminists , which can be sensed throughout the gameplay.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game itself from visuals, sound all the way to voice acting was perfect. It looks beautiful and the atmosphere is beautiful. But the story the main point in getting this game, is horrible.

    Joels death was rushed and pretty bad. The circumstances with the horde and the blizzard was a nice excuse to make him follow Abby into his death. But considering how smart they both were in the last game, that made no sense. They know they are wanted atleast Joel should know. He would never say his name like that. The way he died was also humilating, ganged ab by 10 People, after beeing immobilzed and then yea, golf.

    The next thing about the plot that is terrible: the way it evolves. Not only are you forced on playing abby and dismantle Ellie and Dina, but she also kills Jesse the way he got introdruced by opening a door within miliseconds.

    After that Tommy is heavely wounded and cant proceed on his path of revenge, which is fine, even tho Yara beeing right there at that time made no sense, same for Manny and Abby not beeing able to open the door, but after manny gets shot in the head she just jumps through it, like a saloon door.

    So far: Abby killed Joel, wounded Tommy, who cant even walk proplery anymore because his leg got shot with an arrow, dismanteld ellie whose spirit got crushed anyways after she killed her friends. I like that part tho, she is human and somehow regrets what she is doing.

    Tommy not beeing able to pursue her was tragic, but him beeing so out of character is just terrible. I can see the way Neil portrayed him here, Guy lost his brother, divorced his wife, lost an eye and cant walk amymore. But the way he took it out on ellie felt wrong there.

    Fast forwarding to the end..

    So you're there you dont get an option to kill her, youre just forced to let her go after you feed your fingers to her, which I will get to in a second, is probably the most unsatisfying thing you can do, it would be nice if you could atleast choose to let her go if you really wanted to: But this is just bad writing. The symbolic messages after the fight when she returns to the farm when she noticed that her pursue of revenge costed her fingers, the only thing that could still remind her at joel with the song she could play was pretty heavy to take in, and I kinda like the idea that neil had in mind, but then again... Abby got away, everything was kind off pointless. Not only did Neil spit on joels legacy but you also destroyed Ellies character. She was already broken after Joels death, everything she did and over losing Dina. But her forcing to leave the guitar there and loosing all she had just demolished what was builded with TLOU and Left Behind.

    In conclusion: Revenge didnt work, except for abby she got what she wanted, she lives, with lev and goes to the fireflies. Ellie just leaves the farm, with an open future. She wont get to remind herself anymore at joel.

    My recommendation to all of you, who are disapointed: Pretend this game never happend and keep TLOU legacy with honor and dignity in your memories.

The handling of Joel and Ellie in this was a true betrayal to me as a fan of the first game and trying to make us sympathize with Joel's killer... really idiotic and the people who collectively thought this was a good idea need to be fired.The inclusion of multiplayer definitely could've saved this from being a steaming hot pile of **** but til then, Last of Us Part 2...     Graphics: 10/10 absolutely one of the best graphics in the generation
    Story: 7/10 it is actually really simple but the way how it's told is wonderful and all the characters are well characterized but i didn't like the final tho and the joel death broke my heart
    Gameplay: 9 /10
    Basically the same as tlou1 but here the level design makes the difference!
    There are a lot of different areas and they are mostly open, you can pass all the ares in different ways a lot of times

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
