    This is one of the best games for PS4. It’s not a sequel, it’s an extension of the first story. Absolutely recommended

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I think this game has a lot of depth. It literally makes you walk a mile in someone else’s shoes, you see the work through their eyes. I love Ellie and I only saw things the way she did until playing Abby. I felt for Abby and saw her struggle and pain. I felt this game was so human and raw. This game reminded me that everyone has a story, and no matter the pain one person feels, or the justification they see in their actions, we all are a villain or a hero to someone in this world. Really loved this game 10/10… Expand

    I bought this game to play over christmas and new Year and I am very disappointed.
    The coordination and chaos during scenes with Zombies appearing is simply too much, you cant avoid dying and you need to check in which part of the map you need to run.
    It reminds me of old Dragons lair where you needed also to die 100 times to learn which path to follow. Last but not least the Homosexual    I bought this game to play over christmas and new Year and I am very disappointed.

If someone wants story about super heroes then there is a lot of such content already written. If someone prefers to see how real life can look in a post apocalyptic world, then he or she should play this game. Emotions that this game creates will last for long after the game is finished. This is the story about love, about attachment, about hate about (lack of) forgiveness but especially about revenge, No one is a winner in this game (even a player). This is a masterpiece, I love it and I support creators for such innovative approach. Keep up the good work!… Expand

There are some critikal points(a lot) but its still worth the time youll spend on it. This game basically tells you about revenge , hate and its consequences to others.     What a work of art. What a punch to the stomach. Brave, powerful and adult.
    Adult on the themes, subtext, atmosphere, rythm.
    Technically is an spectacle. Animation, sounds, music and graphics are amazing.
    A masterpiece for sure.

    Definitely, the graphics, the gameplay and the atmosphere in this game are astonishing. The story stunned me, and I liked it less than the first part. But this is still one of the best games.

    You cannot deny the skill that went into making this game. Yes, a lot of bloody, sweat and crunch was sacrificed at the altar to create this game but shady development practices aside, the quality is unmatched. Mechanically, it is perfect. Where it falters is in the chronology of its narrative. I understand why it is ordered the way it is but it ultimately puts too much emphasis on theYou cannot deny the skill that went into making this game. Yes, a lot of bloody, sweat and crunch was sacrificed at the altar to create this game but shady development practices aside, the quality is unmatched. Mechanically, it is perfect. Where it falters is in the chronology of its narrative. I understand why it is ordered the way it is but it ultimately puts too much emphasis on the rare interactions between its opposing protagonists. We get it, revenge doesn't get you anywhere. That point is made relatively soon in the story but it continues to hammer the same nail right up to the end and it is emotionally exhausting. The story is brilliant in principle. Characters behave in manners true to themselves and the performances are phenomenal. But there are no moments of catharsis like there were in the original TLOU. Instead it is a sequence of actions, taken in the name of hatred that, little-by-little destroy the character taking those actions. Every Act with Ellie ends with her reaching a new rock bottom and it is so oppressively depressing.

    Ultimately I have scored this game from a technical perspective. It is a marvel to see running on a PS4, the gameplay is thrilling and I was invested in the story. Yet I must add, I did not enjoy playing TLOU2 because of how it made me feel. The ending is so hopelessly miserable that I googled whether there was a secret ending that I missed. You spend 30 hours descending into this story of misery to find there really is no light at the end of the tunnel, just more misery. It's horrible and really shouldn't be played by anyone whose emotions are easily affected by watching their favourite TV show, or reading their favourite book. You'll get invested in these well-rounded characters and catch some severe depression as you experience what happens to them.    … Expand

    1. Bought it on discount on blackfriday and played it in November 2020 on PS5 on 4K TV, therefore enjoyed the best graphics with 0 lags. It's a truly beautiful game.

    2. STORY. It's good. Better than most of the games out there. But not the best. At the first glance, I saw lots of HOLES in the story. But on my second playthrough, I understood some connections that didn't make sense on the first playthrough. Storytelling here is both f***ed up and good

    3. NARRATIVE and CHARACTERS. This is the strongest and part of Last of US. Can't talk about these without spoilers. They let you play as "bad guys". That is a controversy I have never seen previously in the games and it made me rethink the motivations of "bad guys". Got to admit in the beginning I hated so much playing as Abby that didn't even want to invest in her skills. Then fighting Ellie as a boss I wanted Ellie to win... and I see why many players hated the game just because it seems like they want us(players) to care about Abby and her storyline.

    If the beginning of the game wasn't so f***ed up, there is a chance players would care about Abby storyline more. But apparently, Naughty Dog decided to f*** us up. It is BOLD. For that they deserve credit. In a way I can say that it's innovation. I started to question my actions, on whatever I should kill them or not.. But at the end of the day realized that it's just a game... kept on shooting, cutting, blowing and smashing... painting Seatle in red.

    4. Loved parts when Ellie was a teen again with Joel. Especially the museum part. It felt like Joel and Ellie's story again. Wish there was more of it.

    Overall rich experience. Rich with UPs and DOWNs with great potential for further development. Want to see more from Naughty Dog that's why put 10.    … Expand

    Great play which is produced very little. Excellent production, the sound of nature and whistles, the plot and interesting characters that you empathize with (at the end, crying). Of the minuses, not enough action is not particularly fun shootout when you have 10 bullets in your pocket, and you yourself understand what thoughts were promoted through the game.

    what a great game. i personally dont think it deserved game of the year but i digress. it needed to explain itself in a few parts. and i have a weird feeling that this wasnt the original storyline they had planned. more like they catered to the sensitive/"woke" crowd

You've all seen and heard all about it by now, so I'll put it plain and say I think the decisions made for the story were bold and took storytelling to a different level. I, of course, didn't like how quick Joel was killed off, BUT, neither did Ellie. Naughty Dog forced you to walk in the shoes of the "antagonist" we all watched brutally kill a beloved character. For me, I ended up liking both characters and left things feeling super complex in an ambiguous way. It was all a big psych evaluation from beginning to end. My biggest complaint is really the ending, which is why I'm giving it a 7 (which is still a 'good' score for me). It felt like they didn't know how to end the game and just felt thrown together in an otherwise epic narrative, it wasn't really a short game and the ending was just bland. I still enjoyed the game, it was fun, intense, and downright gorgeous. While I still had a couple of issues with some decisions that were made I STILL appreciate what they were going for.… Expand

    Don't believe everyone's **** hype, this games story is absolute (naughty) dog **** It's laughable compared to the greatness of number 1. I've never spoke to someone in person that's praised it. It's always the same convo, "how bad was the story ?!?, I can't believe they killed Joel like that" "who is abby and why should I care?" Honestly shocking story direction.

    I would like to say that as a game, it was fairly standard. A cover shooter with some stealth that feels fine to play, though melee combat is very clunky and feels poor. A dodge button is only used when the enemy attacks, otherwise you just press the same button and watch your character beat the enemy up without effort.

    Gunplay is normal, an acceptable level of fun to be had when shooting enemies. The guns are varied enough and the sounds are very well done.

    Music is strangely dull. It seemed to feel empty, or without reason. Like playing the main theme to a franchise when nothing is happening, it felt proper only in certain places. It was very good music but just seemed wrong for how empty the game felt.

    The story is so childish. I wonder if it's my culture, but Americans seem to like this kind of story? It won best Narrative, but I don't understand how it could. The villain is so unlikeable, and yet you're made to like them. The hero is made to be a villain, but in a childish way that feels forced. I found I was just annoyed at how silly the story was when I was expecting some kind of masterpiece.

    The acting seemed very good to me, like Hollywood movies or big productions. The story itself felt like someone had written something on a napkin over a few weeks, put it on a refrigerator and said, "Let's make this the story!"

    I'm very disappointed in my purchase. If you are looking for a story game, or an experience, then I would tell you to avoid this game. Unless you are looking for something to make you dislike American writing more, I would stay away.

    If you want a story about revenge, buy God of War, or if you want a story about the bad that comes from revenge, give Red Dead Redemption a try.    … Expand

    Почему высший бал? А почему бы и нет!

    Другие пользователи без основательно занизили оценки этой игры и не потому что там плохой сюжет, графика, есть повестка, персонажи которые не всем приятны... Причина в том что гейм сообщество обижено на Нила Дракмана и ничего более умного они не смогли придумать как насрать заниженными оценками. "Оставьте нас, *****, в покое", так написал Нил в своем обращении к фанатам на негативные высказывания и его можно понять, 7 долгих лет они трудились и вкладывали душу в разработку этой игры, но потом кто-то плюнул этим людям в лицо и слил часть геймплея, после чего игроки стали делать догадки и вырвали все из контекса, чего не стоило делать категорически. На месте студии и Нила я бы отреагировала также, просто очень обидно за команду Naughty Dog. Я еще не успела поиграть, пока нет возможности купить игру, но в ближайшее время обязательно сделаю это, пройду игру от и до и лишь потом поставлю настоящую оценку. Первую часть я проходила впервые в этом году 2020, мне потребовалось пройти ее три раза чтобы оценить по настоящему.

    да когда я поняла что мне нужно играть 15 часов за эбби было принято решение поставить единицу, но сейчас спустя 6 месяцев, непрерывных раздумий, стало очевидно, что это достойное продолжение (эбби конечно можно было и меньше сделать....... например раза в три) и сравниваяя с к*берп*нком это реальный шедеврда когда я поняла что мне нужно играть 15 часов за эбби было принято решение поставить единицу, но сейчас спустя 6 месяцев, непрерывных раздумий, стало очевидно, что это достойное продолжение (эбби конечно можно было и меньше сделать....... например раза в три) и сравниваяя с к*берп*нком это реальный шедевр

    Neil Druckmann and Naughty Dog are the bravest creators I've seen in the last couple of decades. They were the people who used to create commercial AAA projects to sell to sony fans. And they used all their credit collected through the years and all of their resources to create a masterpiece, to show their fans what is the real art of game design, script writing and visual style.

Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey’s superb performances as Ellie and Abby, respectively, are also enhanced by Naughty Dog’s technical achievement in fluid facial animation. From a technical perspective, TLOU2 is irrefutably a masterpiece.

    The gameplay feels realistic due to the game’s great animation and realistic enemy AI, and if the game were shorter, I feel that the gameplay would not have grown somewhat stale by the end. As a whole, I felt poor pacing sometimes bogged down an otherwise great narratively driven experience.

    Without spoiling anything, there were a few, rare moments that didn’t land well for me in the narrative, but for the most part these moments were necessary evils in delivering this kind of story. I also wish some of the new cast of characters were more fully fleshed out. These complaints, however, are minor in the context of a game that otherwise blew me away, and risk-taking should be encouraged in any medium.    … Expand

    The gameplay is over-the-top.
    But Jesus Christ... the story is just horrible....
    I get what they were trying to do, but it didn't work....

A 10/10 is for the quality and closeness to perfection. Intense realistic gameplay accompanied with one of the best if not the best graphics and animations i have ever seen in a game, story can be.....debatable but its dark and depressing for the most part along with a pacing that doesn't suit everyone but for the people whom it suits (like me) it makes this game feel as good as the first part (if not better).… Expand

Most people seem to hate the story, and while I personally despise the dialogue, I don't really care that much. I enjoyed the first TLOUP, but wasn't in love with it like some people, so I guess I didn't care as much about the characters or story in this game, or because I was in a near catatonic state by the final act of the game, haven't really figured out which one yet. I will say, one of things I noticed with the story was that it felt out of order, like they had all the major story moments in a file somewhere and accidently scrambled them.     Not much to say with so much already said and posted about this. Just another person who felt the first game was one of best you could play. The story, writing, graphics were all top notch. TLOU 2 is a high quality game but the writing and story was horrible. I’ll just leave it at that. I shouldn’t be surprised though.

I hated abby but the levels were good.I missed ellie when I played as abby.Ellie is a perfect character and but they give her just 12 hours gameplay that is dum. Killed off Joel for shock value. his death meant nothing.... zero with no impact at all just complete disrespect and forced us to play with a character we all hate..... Abby for the whole second half of the game when we don’t care and introduces a little random bald kid who becomes her sidekick. They made Ellie unsure of herself and not committed to her true goal and it was all for nothing, everything we do during the whole game is ultimately for nothing and Ellie is just alone and broken in the end with such a generic message of the overall game that “revenge is bad” blah blah blah. The graphics are fantastic (best I've seen in PS4), the music, the plot twists and the different points of view. I really don't understand how can someone give it a low score or bad review.

    The Last Of Us parte 2 es un gran videojuego y unos de los mejores para PS4 y de esta generacion. Tiene un hermoso aspecto visual, una genial banda sonora, una jugabilidad entretenida y una historia buena, cruda y arriesgada en mi opinion, pero cumple.
