    Really outstanding game. It definitely has a story that’s hard to swallow, however that not to say that it is a bad written story. Actually, these characters are extremely real, sometimes it doesn’t even feel like a movie, but more like how you would imaging people interacting with each other under the difficult circumstances this world has put upon them. I would go so far as to say that it makes you feel anxious if you really get into everything it’s said during many dialogues, and maybe that’s the reason the game has gotten a poor reception from the fans. While the first game had beautiful moments and justifies the difficult moments with the pretext of loving someone, this game makes the effort to make you feel like you are tripping over the same rock again and again. Ellie makes her decisions with a blinded view, but unlike you’d expect from most mainstream entertainment media, she does make it cool to be wrong, she is just keeps make mistake after another and that made me feel static or stagnant. Apart from that, the gameplays feel really good, haven’t found but only one bug in the hole game. Graphics look incredible. Sounds and scenery are believable. The only down side is that you spend a big amount of time playing as Abby and only at the end of the game you are able to understand why that was made like that, but during the gameplay it can get boring.… Expand

It was only after I had finished playing through it and understood the true meanings and messages. This is a perfect sequel to the first title, but it will only seem so if you think of the events in TLOU2 as genuine and realistic outcomes following the events of the first game. What you really have to understand is that the world of TLOU isn’t solely based around Joel and Ellie. At the end of the day, everyone is trying to survive. Joel chose to put humanity at risk for the sake of saving Ellie, and, thus, is forced to face consequences in this game.… Expand

    I can't believe Naughty Dog did again!
    Both me and GF were so sad when it ended.
    Absolutely fenomenal game!! People who says otherwise haven't played the game.
    Definitely lives up to the first one.

    A stunning game that is a masterpiece in suspense, thought provoking characters and visuals. The game mechanics are vastly improved from the original game and the immersion is intense. It follows a different path to the first game which is perfect, reflecting how the real world may work in such a desperate setting.

    If you follow tv series or movie franchises, you want to be pulled in the story, feel things... TLOU 2 delivers like i've never seen!!! Roller coaster is an understatement.... i was angry, touched, laughing and mad in a single play session. El juego está muy bien tiene unos gráficos estupendos de los mejores que hay, un gameplay muy dinámico y divertido, unos escenarios que sí bien no son tan buenos como los del primer juego son unos escenarios bastante buenos en los que puedes aprobechar al máximo cada función que tienes, lo malo es que en la historia flaquea bastante, al principio es una historia aceptable pero cada vez se va haciendo más confusa, aburrida,y sin sentido. El final me parece lo pero ya que ellie lo deja todo para cumplir su venganza y al final no es capaz de hacerlo, no es capaz de dejar su humanidad en momentos necesarios pero en otros momentos la pierde completamente como por ejemplo cuando mata a sangre fría a la amiga de a y en el hospital y se podría decir q también que disparo a una embarazada pero ella no lo sabía per vamos que en el final si querían terminar la historia de una formaas decente ellie tendría que haber matado a abby.     I just finished "The Last of Us Part II", right after I finished the original "The Last of Us". I have never played on consoles before, and I bought the new PS5 with the express purpose of playing these 2 games (which are PS    I usually do not write reviews, but I felt the user score for TLoU2 is unfairly low, I want to convince you, dear reader, to give this game an honest look.

    I just finished "The Last of Us Part II", right after I finished the original "The Last of Us". I have never played on consoles before, and I bought the new PS5 with the express purpose of playing these 2 games (which are PS exclusives). I had two factors playing against the games: (a) I have zero ability playing with controllers, especially in shooting games and (b) I hate horror, survival horror included. Both factors mean I should be doubly challenged in playing both games, let alone play them to completion. And still, for me both of them but more specifically "The Last of Us Part II" was an absolute masterpiece. I am still reeling from the effects of the experience. I understand why people might be upset with it. We are creatures that need to identify the us vs them, and when that line gets mixed up, we don't like it. And this game had so many mix-ups, on so many levels, it frustrated people who prefer a clean cut security on their feelings and attachments. I felt it as so human, so deep, and so full of interloped, layered messages and meanings, at the end I was left crying for *all* characters (and I never cry with games). Games like TLoU2 are truly rare accomplishments on any medium, not just videogaming. If I had to buy PS5 and not be allowed to play any other games on it other than TLoU & TLoU2, it would still be a bargain.    … Expand

No se pone en duda la valentía de plasmar una historia diferente, atrevida y lejos del estereotipo, o de lo que el jugador pudiera esperar de antemano. Esa sorpresa es positiva y debe aplaudirse.     When the boundaries between the art piece and that of the audience fade, raw emotions are elicited. The last of us part one, cultivated emotions wonderfully. Naughty dog has been able to improve on this in a truly substantial way. these are their characters and the stories that they're telling are beautiful

    Almost every aspect of this game is gorgeous. Best action-thrilling adventure I’ve ever had in video games. Graphics, design, sound, voice acting are totally amazing.

    Juegazo. Una ambientacion brutal con unos escenarios increibles y detallados con una jugabilidad buena, La historia es brutal ( no apta para todos ) ya que te pone en la piel de dos perspectivas contrarias hacia un mismo desenlace. No quiero hacer “spoilers” pero Joel.... recordar en el primer juego su apto al “salvar” a Ellie.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The last of us parte 2 è il sequel che volevo. Tralasciando la qualità della storia che ovviamente si basa su un giudizio soggettivo, anche se io l'ho apprezzata molto.
    L'unica cosa cose che non mi ha convinto per quanto riguarda la narrazione è l'escamotage narrativo utilizzato da naughty dog per rendere lo scontro finale tra abby e Ellie alla pari, ovvero quello di far rapire abby dalle serpi.
    Riguardo al gameplay possiamo dire che c'è stato un sufficente rinnovamento. Giusto quel che basta per essere soddisfatti. Credo che basti questo per renderlo uno dei migliori e più divertenti gameplay che abbia mai provato, anche grazie all'ottima IA.
    Vogliamo poi parlare del comparto tecnico?
    Qui naughty dog si è superata, anche se ovviamente non essendo un open world è più semplice realizzare delle animazioni facciali così tanto elaborate e realistiche e un mondo di gioco così bello e affascinante.
    Uno dei principali problemi che non fa secondo me raggiungere l'eccellenza a tlou 2 sono i bug. Potrebbe tranquillamente essere un caso ma devo dire che i bug, almeno nella mia run, sono stati parecchi. C'è da dire però che i bug non sono quasi mai invalidanti, anzi spesso fanno più un gioco è serio e profondo, più quando accadono dei bug risultano divertenti. Ultima cosa: credo che assegnare uno 0, un 1 o un 2 sia assolutamente scandaloso. In più le critiche riguardavano tutte la trama, ma se si giudica un gioco in modo oggettivo non si può da fan di Joel del primo capitolo essere indignati per la sua morte e assegnare uno zero, solo perché la trama vi ha fatto schifo.
    In conclusione:
    Gioco maestoso, incredibilmente avvincente, divertente, profondo.
    Contro:
    Gameplay poco rinnovato

    Naughty Dog creates stories with video games like no other studio. They proved this with Uncharted, The Last of Us Part I and now with The Last of Us Part II. This video game challenges you as a player, it causes a wide range of emotions. Naughty Dog dared to make unpopular decisions and it paid off. I never played a game like this and I look forward to Naughty Dog's future projects.

    Also on a technical level, it is a masterpeace. No bugs, no stutters even on base PS4!

    I honestly don't know why the fan base is so negative about this game. It has good graphics, good story, good everything. I'm confused why they hate it so much. Sure it had backlash due to many delays, but I didn't expect it to be this much when the game released.

The plot and characters are engaging and invoke many emotions in you, while also challenging some of your instinctive emotions and feelings. However, the tone of the story is very dark, so it may not be for everybody. The gameplay and level design is superb with some very intense enemy encounters due to Naughty Dog crafting some of the best AI I have seen in a game that seem like real people. Graphics are stunning. Animations are lifelike. Gameplay is fun, responsive, and intuitive. Sound design is phenomenal as well with gun shot effects in particular being very well done. The infected are scarier than ever with improved models and even better sound design than the first game. Sound track is also great and suits the themes well in the game. Overall, despite me being a little disappointed with the direction of the story it’s hard to talk bad about this game when it does so much right. I would give the first game a 10/10 just because I preferred the tone of the story better and I liked the characters a little bit better. This game I would give a 9/10 due to some pacing problems and darker tone of the story with less appealing characters. Definitely recommended this game though.… Expand

    The main characters were JOEL and ELLIE. The way in which Joel was killed so fast and without mercy, I think the character deserved at least a better ending.

    The fact that they introduced a new main character and that you have to play with her more the 50% of the game is a little bit disgusting
    I understand that this game was dark and based in anger, even though that, I think that fans wanted a better story with the MAIN characters. All that gay stuff and in the case of Lev is irrelevant for me actually. I only wanted a better story and develpment for Joel an Ellie.    … Expand

    The game was beautiful, sometimes scary, had a rich story, fun mechanics and unbelievable graphics, and it gave me depression. You know, If you're gonna have us spend 30 hours playing a game, at least pump some joy into it, perhaps make a happy ending... Don't make people feel bad about keeping the characters alive, but hey, that's just me.

    Superb in every way. The story was as gripping and emotive as the first. The gameplay was superior. Anyone giving this game less than 6 obviously isn't being sincere. The gameplay and graphics are worth 6/10 even if you don't like the story or characters.

    This is a story driven game, with a REALLY inconsistent story that looks like it’s written by a 15yo with no knowledge of how to tell a story, at all.
    The game makes puts Ellie in a quest for revenge which ends up in a **** poorly written ending basically saying “reVeNge is BaD” after a horrible antagonist kills Joel.
    Also, it pushes certain unlikeable characters down your throat, and even makes you play with the antagonist on what seems like an effort to understand “her reasons” for killing Ellie’s fatherly figure.
    Needless to say, this whole segment of a game was a damn chore.
    It’s such a pity, since TLOU1 was, arguably, one of the best if not the best story driven game available for ps3 at the time, and this one falls extremely short due to crappy storytelling and inconsistencies.
    Naughty dog deserves the not-so-good user reviews they got for this game, and it’s definitely not worth buying at all, if you’re looking for a good story driven game.

В сюжете есть прекрасные моменты, но ими должна была быть наполнена вся игра. Это именно то, что даёт возможность уйти от реальной жизни в сказку. Этой сказки в сюжете нет. Тут рассказывается о мести. Элли мстит всю игру за Джоеля, а Эбби в самом начале игры за своего отца убивая Джоеля. Игра заканчивается на волевой остановке мести Элли, которая понимает, что смерть Эбби не вернёт Джоеля. Эбби поняла это в сцене мести за своих друзей, где Лев остановил её от убийства Дины.

    Если оценивать анимацию и графику на сегодняшний день, то она на высоте, но лучше бы графика была плохой, а сюжет добрым. Я даю оценку исключительно за сюжет. Сюжет основан на смерти Джоеля и на мести за него вплоть до озверения Элли. Над полюбившимися мною героями в первой части словно специально издевались во второй. Кому-то такое понравилось в рамках продолжения истории. Мне нет. Именно такое продолжение стало причиной того, что вокруг второй части столько мнений. Сам сюжет о мести написан сносно, но это не добрая история. Поэтому этот рассказ мне не понравился и не он должен был остановиться на завершении мести. Значит должна быть третья часть, которая благополучно закончит всю эту трагическую историю. Жизнь и так наполнена негативом. Я ожидала увидеть историю, которую не грустно было бы вспомнить. Буду ожидать не грустное продолжение, которую я оценю на 10 из 10. А за эту грустную историю я ставлю 4.

    Однополые отношения показаны достаточно мягко. Элли боится остаться одной испортив отношения неправильным решением в развитии отношений с Диной. Дина развивает отношения, а Элли не хочет её потерять и вынужденно выстраивает с ней те отношения, которые строит Дина. Очень плохо вписывается сцена в апокалиптической реальности с огороженным домиком на ферме, где Элли и Дина живут семьёй. Я не сторонница однополых отношений, но с ними боролись всю историю и не побороли. Видимо это данность от природы и это надо принять. Тем ней менее пропагандировать это не хорошо. Лев - это девочка, которая хотела стать воином, а воинами в племени могут быть только мужчины. Тем более её хотели выдать замуж за старейшину. Она обрила себя как воин, как мужчина. Это как женщины, которые хотели иметь права работать на тех профессиях, на которых работали только мужчины и не зависеть от решения мужчин. Движение за права женщин дали женщинам такую возможность. Никакой трансгендерности я в этом не вижу, ну или я что-то из сюжета упустила, не поняла. Трансгендеры для меня вообще непонятные люди. I can see how people can find this repetitive and monotonous. HOWEVER, this game has some of the BEST action moments in any video game. The combat and gunplay is so fun and it allows the player to be creative in how they take our their enemies. The enemy AI is amazing, the way they interact with one another to find and kill you is some of the best in any action game. The action/combat sequences in this game make you feel like you’re playing an action movie. The gore, graphics, and sounds are all very realistic. The replay value is actually pretty high because there’re many different ways you can get through the combat sections. Also, the settings in the game are pretty cool too. It allows you to customize your gameplay experience in ways I’ve never experienced in a video game. Overall, this game is GOOD. It’s not the best, or even Game of the Year material. The first game is far superior (although Part II has better AI and combat). The fact that the story isn’t great hurts this game a lot because it’s a very story-driven game. You can’t control the outcomes of anything you’re merely playing through the story... and it’s not a good one. If I were to rate this game on the action and combat moments alone it would be a 10/10.     I can understand that many so-called gamers do not quite agree with the course of the story. However, I do not count myself to such a fanboy and I think Naughty Dog has created a masterpiece here. And I mainly refer to the gameplay and the technical implementation. But they also managed to integrate the player with the story into the game emotionally. What a trip!

    The only good thing about the game is the graphics. The story was both boring, and politically twisted, doesn't deserve a single award, and we all know it. You could've atleast given choices to the player. Hell, I'd take the buggiest Cyberpunk 2077 copy over this piece of hot garbage in a heartbeat.

For some reason, the game wants you to like abey more than Ellie, and to top it all off they kill JOEL, yes the MAIN character from the first game is KILLED immediately. you play as him for only FIVE MINUTES. I'm disappointed in naughty dog for ruining the game for me, I loved the first game and everything that made it so good is missing from this game. They could have made a good trilogy by having abey as a friend in the start of the game and then having her turn on you and kill joel because he killed her dad. That's how the game should've went and then the third game would've been Ellie going after abey and being at war with her and her friends. Even the ending is stupid. You finally find abey and have the chance to kill her but the game won't allow you to kill her which makes the whole game pointless. If abey had killed my friends there would be no hesitation in killing her. Ellie's friends died so she can kill abey, she even left her girlfriend and own child behind to go kill abey. So she loses everything to kill abey but doesn't kill abey. So she lost everything for no reason. she gave up her own family for no reason. So you're left unsatisfied because you wanted abey to die but you can't kill her. Please do not but this game especially if you're a huge fan of the first game.… Expand

    With an enthralling story, complex characters, interesting gameplay and gorgeous visuals and audio, The Last of Us Part II is probably one of the most polished videogame experiences out there and it’s pretty easy to give it a great score and call it a day. But honestly, thanks to the intense pace, mature subject matter and stressful situations, it may not be for everyone.

    Great job from the developers, the game looks great, is well polished. The gameplay is improved but it doesn't feel that intense as the last one, where it felt more like a survival (you cared for every shill and bullet you find.
    Usually this makes a game at least 6 but for me it can't even be a 5.
    It was hard to fail with the story because so many interesting things was already prepared from the first part, but somehow they didn't care for that and they preferred to force new characters. Characters that never had enough story to care about and Aby, who had a lot of story, had a very bad written one.
    If her killing Joel at the start was moved close to the end I think it made some things better.
    If the marketing didn't try so much to hide what they already knew people would hate, maybe it would be better revived but I'm sure the game would've sell a lot less.
    The game is very focused on the story so even if it's okay on the other parts the story brings it down.
    Some people may like it, but a lot of people would watch anything and be okay with it. A small number care for real quality.
    It's nothing bad with that. Sometimes you just like something that it's not "wow", smart or mind blowing.
    This game somehow managed to divide people so much and I think this is because of the arrogance that Naughty Dog shows when it comes to this game. They always tell people how good the game is, that they should try it first then ask questions. If a game is good, you don't need "the cook" to tell you how and why the "food is a delicious masterpiece".
    I can make my own opinion, I don't need you to tell me how to fell about your game.

    Is killed without any dialog between him and Aby (his killer). His relationship with Ellie didn't evolve as much and it felt like after all of that he still wasn't able to open up more, to be more friendly (like he was with Sarah).
    His small number of past memories with Ellie shown during the game don't feel as important as if he was still alive.
    If he died after we saw him forming a deeper connection with Ellie, some more bounding, then I would care more and it would make me care more when I see him being killed.
    Ellie.
    She is different, more bitter, more like every other NPC in the game. She is not interested in jokes. Now she wants to get high and make sex. All good and everything but she didn't have any objective until she wanted revenge. She wants revenge and fails but then leaves all she had left behind just to try again?
    What about the virus and stuff like that? I guess she doesn't care about that anymore. She's just a stubborn and stupid little girl that doesn't evolve in any way during the game. She was even more interesting and competent in the first game.
    In the end she clearly doesn't want revenge anymore, it clearly doesn't matter. If she didn't do anything it was objective complete because Aby would've died a slow and painful death. She instead goes to all the trouble to help her, to force her to fight and after she lost some fingers and had even more reasons to take revenge, in just a few seconds she says no.
    That's it. The ending has nothing. I don't care if she survives. She left her last friends/lover for revenge, she doesn't try to find if a cure is possible anymore.
    In the first game's ending I was interested: what will they do, they will remain friends, will she still want to be killed to make a vaccine if she has the chance and knows the truth, is there no more cities unaffected by the virus, will Joel try to be more open with Ellie...
    I had so many questions when part 1 ended but now in part II I don't care, I have nobody to care for, there's no objective, no questions, no future.

    Some people hate her way to much. It's just a very bad written character. She is close to impossible to like.
    They show her torturing Joel until she kills him. She doesn't talk with him, ask him why, ask him if he's sorry, tell him what she thinks about what happened.
    After that I should care for Aby? She tortured slowly someone, without asking or telling why/who/what/when/what now.
    Then she plays with a dog and does a few good things and that somehow makes me forget about how much she insisted on torturing somebody? Kill Joel, but at least Joel did it because they didn't want to let Ellie leave. Ellie was never asked if she was ready to die, she would've never know that it was the end.
    Part II didn't try to build on what Part I did. Make you care for new people, understand what will happen and why, understand what the characters want. They just take out one important character at the start (the main one) then they try to force the others.
    Just showing some good interactions doesn't make good character development.
    How many will buy Part III knowing the story now? Knowing that Naughty Dog doesn't want to make fun games, they want to force a story where we're forced what to think or care about.    … Expand

They took a bold direction that mirrors a huge issue happening in America right now, hate, division, and a lack of empathy for the other side. Without experience, divisiveness is easy. There is no light without darkness though. Just because the writing goes in a different direction than expected, does not mean it isn't great. Some of the best dialogue in any video game ever can be found here. The writing and acting is incredibly nuanced. There is subtlety and depth that you can't find in other games to this level of professionalism. The themes are dark, but there are beautiful glimpses of hope, joy, and perseverance.

    Even if for some reason you just can't stomach the story, there is no denying that the gameplay and the graphics are amazing. I have a fairly high end PC , and no game touches these graphics even on the relatively weak ps4 pro. RDR2 comes very close, but this has set the standard. There is a level of photo realism that blew me away. At 30fps I never noticed. Naughty Dog are wizards at optimization. Movement is weighted in realism, yet buttery smooth. Zero bugs on my playthrough.

    The level design is top tier. The environments create an immersive experience that is hard to match without VR. Stealth creates tension, and when all hell breaks loose, the chaos of running through fixed yet open areas creates a uniqueness to everyone's playthrough. The survival element is visceral.

    The Last of Us Part II is a game that has flashes of utter brilliance, but sadly these moments are interwoven by a muddled narrative which lacks any substance and loses itself in its length.
    Now in a couple more sentences, let's start with the good. If the first game was a 10/10 for the PS3 when    If I had to give a quick one-sentence summary review of this game it would go as follows:
    The Last of Us Part II is a game that has flashes of utter brilliance, but sadly these moments are interwoven by a muddled narrative which lacks any substance and loses itself in its length.

    Now in a couple more sentences, let's start with the good. If the first game was a 10/10 for the PS3 when taken as a whole, this game turns things up to an 11 on the gameplay, world design and (generally speaking) quality of life front. For sure, I could nit-pick a few grievances here and there (we still cannot holster/un-holster weapons after all these years), and the enemy AI (while indeed improved upon a lot from the first game) still leaves a considerable amount left to be desired especially in-regards to the games stealth elements, the game plays very well. My number one piece of advice for any newcomers to the game would be to toy around with the vast settings/options the player is given (especially consider turning off "Grainy Film" setting which is turned all the way up to ten by default and really only serves to make the game appear more cinematic in a few select instances but beyond that drags down the visual quality quite a bit). The gunplay feels more responsive, more brutal and more satisfying (like a faster, more polished version of the first game with more upgrades too). The environment (and environmental variance) particularly in the second half of this game far surpasses most areas in the first game and the dystopian and torrential Seattle, with its vast landscape and imposing skyscrapers serves as the perfect backdrop for good chunk of this sequel. I should also note that the replayability factor for this game is fairly high with some gameplay modifiers to mix things up on a second playthrough, along with 7 different difficulty settings (one of them being a cool difficulty customization setting) and a new game plus on top of all that. The only problem is that I can't imagine that anyone would be eager to jump into this game right after beating it for some reasons I will detail below.

    Next, on to the not so good. This game does not justify its length what-so-ever. It averages around a 24 hr playtime (mine ran a little longer at 25hr 54min and 2sec) and there are multiple instances in the final 'act' of the game (note: the game does not run by a traditional 3-act format) that could have served as a suitable ending point, but instead the game drags on needlessly for way too long without any real purpose. Narrative-wise the game is quite simple for the first 55% of the story and while it takes one very abrupt and calculated "risk" early on (which isn't really much of a risk since it is not earned and feels forced, as if trying to challenge the player without setting up the scenario properly in a believable manner given the characters that it concerns) I found the first half of this games narrative to be serviceable enough to be enjoyable to play through. The majority of the interpersonal relationships and dialogue between characters feels as natural, fluid and almost as consistently good as the first game. It is after the halfway point and a shift in character perspective when things narratively really start to take a turn for the worse unfortunately. Now I should say that the second half of the game has its best gameplay sections by a mile and I actually liked the 2nd main character who you play as alright, but there is no question that the quality of the writing takes a nose dive massively once we are introduced to the games events through the "other-sides" point of view. The characters in the WLF (no spoilers) are written to be smug, unlikable, fake, and in the end disagreeable as a whole.

    But If we finally want to talk about the downright ugly, at its base this game has nothing to say. In the end it feels as though its a story that may allude towards the idea that "revenge isn't what so-and-so character would want" or perhaps "this character ultimately can't commit to revenge because that's not who they are to their core" but it fails to portray any characters as having any form of moral gradient or nuance in their actions, behaviors or thought patterns. In a story about revenge the topic of regret is never once explored. Rather than existing in shades of grey, both of our main protagonists make decisions that are either black or white with no in-between. Any form of internal struggle or conflict with what they have to do (which really is portrayed as what they want to do) is non existent. There are also several instances where characters are dumbed down in order to progress the narrative and act out of character or make decisions that just simply don't make sense in order to move the story along which feels unfortunate and lazy coming from a studio that did a pretty good job of writing a more concise narrative the first time around.

    Jogabilidade perfeita, gráficos muito bons, trilha sonora fantástica, mas a história é muito fraca, tem gente que fala que não é para todo mundo mas não tem nada haver, o primeiro não teve defeitos, mas criaram uma história péssima no segundo, deveriam colocar dois finais o jogador é quem decide o que deve acontecer.

Thirdly - a bunch of propaganda for feminism. For example: "a very strong and independent woman" (Abby). She is very pumped up. The gameplay is, in principle, not bad.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game has come under a lot of abuse but wow. It has people talking and dividing opinions and i think that’s what they set out to do. Most people wanted a copy or something very similar to the first. They wasn’t going to do that. I found myself being shocked about the route I was taking or they was making me take. I hated Abby and couldn’t wait to get to kill her. Then when I was taking charge of her I didn’t want to. By the end I wanted her to live and take lev to the fire flys. I wanted Ellie to just cut her down and get in the boat and walk away. That’s the only change I would make to this game. She would just get in the boat not say a word and leave instead of the fight that ensues. By killing Joel they wanted to give you the ammunition to fight for revenge when abbys fight for revenge has the same right to be heard. Also away for story it also has improved the combat and other game mechanics ten fold. It’s a great sequel and that’s just what is a sequel. It’s doesn’t take away from how great the first one was. I hope for a third is they take it away from this line of story and maybe find a new story in the universe where they could be endless story’s to tell.… Expand

    Really a masterpiece and the best possible sequel. Thoughtful meaning in relation to violence and character interaction,an ode to hatred and nemesis.I highly recommend it.

    Overall this has been one of my best video game experiences ever even though the game and it's a journey that everyone must experience.

I think it was under the first game as a story and when I finished the game I felt a bitter inside. But that doesn't mean I don't like this story.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
