    The chemistry between the characters is zero, the plot itself is weak. If the first part went out due to the excellent chemistry between the characters and the well-written plot, then this is not at all here! Well, with a transvestite and a pumped woman, something similar, but compared to the first part, it’s just zilch.

Es un juego de mierda en el que se lo cargan desde el principio de la historia y no hablar de el final ya que le dan un final feliz al personaje pero no al jugador, historia súper mala en la que parece que se cansan de Ellie y le dan todo el beneficio a Abby. Aparte de que no te dan a elegir el final y sería una buena opción para poder elegir el final que más quiera el jugador y así por fin poder matar a la puta perra desgraciada de la pendeja Abby ya que se cargó a Joel. And the thing about is some part of the game are actually enjoyable but there are characters in this game that you just dont give a rat left or right butt cheek about. It’s annoying whenever I have to play as Abby and help out Lev and Yarah, frustrating that I quit the game for a couple hours. It’s so boring!!!!… Expand

Not fun, needed many breaks to finish the game cause fed up not playing Ellie and Joel. Imagine playing uncharted 4, but they killed Nathan and you play as his wife Elena getting revenge, but for 2 minutes, then you play the despicable Rafe Adler for most of the game and play even through times only to learn about how he lived as a kid and how liked to play Lego and had his favorite pet, and then so in and so on until what made him despicable, you still don't care and he still deserves capital punishment cause he killed Nathan anyway, and then in the end you actually don't get revenge, no, you save his life and all go your separate way.     Se que el juego no es de 0 ya que a nivel técnico es estupendo, pero la historia es una completa basura tanto que no disfrute nada el juego y se convirtió en el peor que haya jugado, haciendo una media real el juego es de 6.5 no más

    Oh that storytling... after you made everybody hate Joel, you made the same thing to Ellie. She seems more like a maniac that needs to be stopped. It's a hard thing to play a character you hate.

    The game has a terrible plot and disgusting characters.Game journalists lie and cut corners, do not believe them in the future, forget about pre-orders of AAA games, look at the released game and only then think about buying.

    Wow, it's not great... basically a mildly improved version of the first game, with a garbage storyline. Super grindy in far too many points and then you have to re-grind about mid game. This is unfortunately my last time I'll play a Last of Us game. If there is a third, I could not care less about it.

    My problem besides the story is the lack of end bosses and the variety of different zombies. It feels always the same. Over and over you do the same for 12 to 14 hours.
    1. Kill People/Zombies quietly or loudly
    2. Search for items
    3. Cutscene
    4. Start from 1

    The Problem of the Story though. Man. They really don't want to do a Part III. They really don't.

    Besides of killing Joel, the lack of emotions between Ellie and Joel is ridiculous.
    They went to thick and thin in Part I and I understand the emotions Ellie had, but common man.
    It like your father. And Joel looked Ellie like her daughter. BUT THEY NEVER REALLY TALKED ABOUT THAT STUFF. That's annoying to me. The lack of emotions that they deserved. Went to all that **** in Part I. At the end of Part I Joel would react the same, because even there would be a cure Ellie would die. He would lose his 2nd daughter. They didn't get the chance of developing what they deserved.

    Even when the **** story ended like this. Why Ellie didn't expressed her feelings or emotions with some words. They cut the scenes. But 14 hours of doing the same is alright.

    It's reminds me of the maker of Sherlock Holmes who killed Sherlock in his book, because he got annoyed by him. Just later to revive him because the **** hit the fan. Feels the same with the last of us.

    When Part III is happening I won't play it. Everything what made The Last of Us amazing is raped. I hoped somebody else would have made the story.    … Expand

Everything made on the wrong timing, and forcing the player to care about characters that we want to kill. Everybody is bad in TLOF world, and that does not mean we have to care if it has other "good people" to care about, except for Ellie and Joe. Naughty Dog said for 7 years that TLOF Part 2 would be another adventure with Ellie and Joe, so we can say that they lied. They forget that videogame is not a movie. It is nice when games have a movie style, but it still not a movie. 60 dollars for Ellie and Joe, and you get Abby, and a bunch of people that I do not even remember their names, because I do not care about then. Wanna talk more about Abby? Make a DLC. Dont put in the main game, as if she is as important as Ellie.… Expand

Над сценой смерти Джоэла заплакала бы и макака, они просто убили главного персонажа первой части. Эта игра нацелена на женщин?! Нас хотят растрогать тем, что Элии убила беременную женщину, которая бросилась на неё с ножом! Да, после того как нам рассказали историю Эбби и её друзей, этот момент приобретает краски, но чтобы мы эти краски увидели, нам нужно было пройти огромный пролог. Видно что разрабы черпали вдохновение из Убить Билла, но вместо сильных женских персонажей, тут же паразитирование на первой части, финальная сцена это вообще бой двух баб в грязевой ванне. Рассказ истории флэшбэками уже не новый, и довольно грязный приём. О трансах в постапокалипсисе вообще молчу. Было очень опрометчиво брать Хелли Гросс как второго сценариста, а может Нил прогнулся под меньшинствами.

    Забыл упомянуть про часть, где Элли и Дина живут в доме, от этой части у меня ж*па порвалась на британский флаг. После всего того что она пережила в первой части, во второй, после смерти Джоэла, после того как Эбби её чуть не убила, они нашли **анный загородный дом без зомби, ПОЛНОСТЬЮ ЦЕЛЫЙ ЗАГОРОДНЫЙ ДОМ, И ЖИВУТ ТАМ СЕБЕ ПРИПЕВАЮЧИ! Это просто мечта любой 14-летней лесбиянки, но это не влажная мечта лесбухи, "ЭТО ИГРА ПРО ЖЕСТОКОСТЬ". Когда началась часть с Джоэлом я надеялся что это всё её сон, и на самом деле она лежит в больнице в городе Томми, или типа того. Но нет! Это всё происходит на самом деле. Это просто п*здец, простите за мат, но у меня нет других слов. На этот понос предлагают смотреть мужикам, которые час назад крошили черепа и вспарывали горла, со стороны Элли такая-же претензия. В итоге это не та Элли из первой части! Это смазливая девчушка, которая просто хочет жить со своей девушкой в огромном доме, без намёка на каких-то там зомби и всё такое. Очень хочется надеяться что это дело рук второго сценариста, а не Нила Дракмана, ведь если это Нил, ему пора купить такой же дом, и жить там со своим мужем.

    Ставлю тройку только за геймплей, отлично от сюжета.    … Expand

Each character was touched by the drama. Drama-beginning, drama-pregnant-women (2), drama-kid, drama-flashbacks, drama-love-triangle, drama-ending, even drama-dogs and drama-zebras ... yes, the first part also had drama, but there was at least some balance.     One of the best Games I have ever played. I can understand, that a lot of players are disappointed by how the Story of Ellie and Joel has turned, but if we look at facts we can say:
    1. It looks beautiful. Sometimes you just stand around and enjoy the beautiful view the game offers to the players.
    2.The Story is very captivating, even if you dont like the plot 3. The game offers A LOT    One of the best Games I have ever played. I can understand, that a lot of players are disappointed by how the Story of Ellie and Joel has turned, but if we look at facts we can say:
    1. It looks beautiful. Sometimes you just stand around and enjoy the beautiful view the game offers to the players.
    2.The Story is very captivating, even if you dont like the plot
    3. The game offers A LOT of content to discover beside the main quest.
    4. The ingame music is gorgeous and gives you real goose bumps.

    I can understand the complaining community when they say something like: "What has Naghty Dog done to Joel. Ellie became a Monster. We hate Abby."
    But I think, that the whole Storyline about Abby und her loved ones is very exciting because it forces the player the see a new Way of thinking and makes us realise, that Ellie and Joel are NOT the heros of the story, they are just some random people like every other in this world who are trying to survive. Therefor we cannot say that Ellie nor Abby is a monster, cause all they are trying to do ist to survive in this horrible, yet so beautiful world.

    If you want to experience one of the most tragic but also one of the beautiful storys in the gaming universe, this game is a must play.    … Expand

    This game is a slap to the face of the fans of the first game. Gameplay is enjoyable. But not much improved from the first game. Some new combat mechanics are there but not any innovation like they claim. Other games have been doing the same thing. Graphics are extremely good. But the horrendous story, writing and pacing issues make this game below average for me

The author wants us to sympathyze the enemy, showing a "grey moral". But it just makes the game even more repulsive. Not to mention the lack of logic amid postapocallypse and senseless agenda. Wanted to throw away the game and completed it only out of respect to the characters. Very dissapointed. The first game made me buy PS4 and this sequel "turns me against" Sony.

Joel and Tommy are known to be survivors and it is clearly demonstrated in the first game. When I mean clearly, they literally show Joel being ruthless to a group of bandits that were pretending to be injured, knowing this, Joel goes straight through like a badass. However, this trait is no longer seen in the second game. He casually just walks into a room filled with people that are armed and unknown. He then introduces himself, eventually getting killed. You see Joel die in the most brutally and heart-wrenching way possible during the first act of the game (2 hours in). This is where people misunderstand the majority of why fans hate this. We are not upset that Joel died...its how he died. His death by the end of the game nearly meant nothing. His character is not the same character we grew to love. Nor was his death memorable or meaningful whatsoever. A lot of us understood the motive that was presented here for Ellie, and yes...it did make us angry and we too wanted revenge just like Ellie. But it was done in a way that was so lazy and poorly written.

    They ruined this series forever by killing off most important character of last of us, then forcing you to play as one of the ugliest, most disgusting video game characters ever (who killed Joel for most idiotic reasons ever), ending was even worse, because ellie lost her fingers and this mutant human (who killed joel) got to escape. Pathetic and absolutely pointless, disgusting video game.

Besides this game being an awful story about revenge being awful for both sides and the death of a beloved character, what makes this game so hard to play through is the pacing of the story. The game tries to get you too care about characters who have no likable traits and having to play as a separate character that the majority don’t like and having to sit through boring cutscenes and flashbacks it feels almost as if I should get paid just to play this game.     I hated that Ellie's section    I honestly cannot express my hatred towards this game enough.     I don't know where to start. I hated it.
    I hated that Ellie's section of the game is reduced to about 11 hours, 5 of which are the damn tutorial so we barely get to explore ANY time with Ellie that's considered actual gameplay. Her dialogue with Dina felt flat and unimaginative, mostly just commenting on what they were doing in the moment.
    I did not mind that **** died, because i honestly expected it to happen from the first trailer, but it happened so soon into the game that it didn't invoke much reaction in me; it should've happened far, FAR into the story, many hours in, so that we the players had a new, fresh attachment to him. It would have hit so much harder.
    And then, right when the action is hitting hardest, right when we get to the climax- we switch to ABBY?! For ELEVEN HOURS?!
    WHAT WERE THEY THINKING
    It is too much to expect the player to care about a character we have barely met before, putting aside what Abby did. Why in the hell would a gamer ever want to spend eleven hours (at least!!!) playing as an unknown, hated character in an established franchise, when they KNEW everyone wanted to play as Ellie. Like???? WHY??????
    Just why??
    Abby is boring, grey, contributes absolutely NOTHING to the plot other than introducing us to characters Ellie has already killed, so why would we care about them? It's so incredibly long and boring. The one tiny good part was Lev, whose character I liked a lot, but it couldn't lift up what is horrific and boring and meaningless to the story. It's nonstop walking, shooting, trying to find some stupid supplies for a stupid character who dies stupidly two minutes after you saved her. So like, that's 3 hours WASTED trying to save her AND SHE DIES ANYWAY.
    The game completely rubs it in your face that Ellie's the bad guy. We get it, she's bad, but she obviously had remorse at some moments. How could they expect us to care about Abby, who certainly has no empathy whatsoever?? Did they expect us to care about her just because her dad died like 5 years ago? But she doesn't care about now, in present day, murdering a pregnant woman?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
    It's just so dumb??? What, the thousands upon thousands of relatives that Joel left behind after killing their loved ones are all gonna come and hunt him down? WHAT?
    Literally I can't express my hatred for Abby, and my hatred for ND forcing us to play as her for eleven damn hours.
    The plot is all over the place. The tension builds, and they let it die in a steaming pile of nothing. It builds again, then nothing. Then we get this horrific constant swap between Ellie and Abby for NO REASON. And the ending??? The whole damn game was for absolutely nothing??
    WHAT WAS THE POINT.
    I know Naughty Dog wanted to surprise us, but WHY? And why with this godawful semblance of plot?? All we wanted was a game where Ellie and Joel went adventuring. We wanted it to be emotional, yes.
    We did not want THIS.
    THIS IS NOT THE GAME WE WANTED
    Oh, and don't even get me started on Ellie finding out the truth about Joel's lie. I waited seven years to see her reaction to what Joel did to her, and it was crammed into a three minute cutscene? Are you kidding me???
    A better plot would have been Ellie and Joel adventuring etc, and Ellie find out DURING their/the player's adventure, leading to a massive confrontation between them, and THEN we witness ****'s death and Ellie's guilt at having hated him right before he died. Instead, we see it in snippets of stupid, lazy flashback cutscenes that happen so sporadically that we don't bother putting them together and it just cuts the tension down to nothing. They happen so randomly that we have absolutely no attachment to them. They should have happened WHILE THE ADVENTURE WAS ONGOING. Why should the player care about something that happened in 2 minutes three years before the game started??
    I hate this game so much, oh my Goddd. The ONLY good thing in this game is the acting performances, because they were great. But i detested the game so much that I can't even give it a point for that. My God. I'm still so let down 2 years later my Goddd.

    This is one of the most dragged out games I've played. The characters are counter intuitive, the narration, story and screen play are all over the place. Game become reparative real quick. And things arent consistent. The story is riddled with plot holes.

    Visually it's spectacular, the gameplay it's quite good but nothing refreshing. The story is pure crap.

    -Poorly written, unlikable and unrecognizable "characters" (In the case of Ellie ESPECIALLY)
    -Some of the most cringe inducing pandering I've seen in my life
    -Generic "revenge bad" plot
    -One of the worst "partings" to a beloved character to date
    -THE grossest sex scene ever put in a video game to date

    Really, I take even an Issue with people that say to give it a shot and play this game because it looks "graphically impressive".

    You see, when you have a story driven game and the story is an absolute disaster, graphics don't really matter in my book, saying: "But it looks good though!" is a very shallow compliment for something that really doesn't benefit the overall experience in any way that I would consider substantive, especially if you realize how weak the other two components are.
    And sure, it's a great extra if the game looks nice, but it should never, EVER, be the focus you strive for (See the Order 1886).

    No wonder there was a massive exodus from Naughty Dog after this game was released, I can't think that in good faith a lot of people working there saw this and thought it was ok in any capacity.

    And you better leave your other IPs alone from now on, I shudder to think what a Neil Druckmann Jak & Daxter or Uncharted game post TLOU2 would look like.

    As for future entries, do whatever you want with this series, get aliens involved, IDFC, at this point my investment is dead and buried, I'll probably skip part 3 and watch the cutscenes on YouTube or something like that.    … Expand

This game was literally the only game I threw away after playing through for a couple hours, I think this game definitely deserves the bad press it got 100%, the story is bland and focuses way too much on making the female characters strong and turning a smart and strong man dumb and weak, this is also excluding murdering him very early on, and the biggest issue with this is the fact that a lesbian bigot straight up tortured him and killed him in front of Ellie, who was practically his child and they cared for each other, but she also bit off two of Ellie’s fingers as well, and this **** gets to live after all of this, this isn’t even taking into account the other important characters they kill off and the game tries to hard to make you like the person you hate. Definitely not worth the money and the critic reviews in this game definitely aren’t deserving, and they certainly don’t have your interests in mind.
