    When I played the Beta of this game, it was great! I really enjoyed the game play and I thought Theed was great. Now the game has been released for some time and I have played it enough to write my own review.

    At first I really liked the game and had a lot of fun. EA/DICE seem to ruin the game more and more after every update. I don't know what's up, but it's terrible.     This review is focused on the multi-player aspects within the game. As far as single-player, that was trash from the beginning. EA should have an entirely separate game for single-player instead of overwhelming themselves with to much content to be made in such a short time.    … Expand

    I have played this game since Beta, I was very concerned about the pay to win system and the microtransactions and that made me not buy the game, of course because of this live service practice the game suffered a great deal and pushed fans like me away.

    BUT, i have been play this game for 8 months now and i must say they have improved a lot.     Having this game on my EA subscription I really enjoyed playing the 2 single player stories. If you don’t do the multiplayer stuff this game is a nice recipe to fill your boring days.

    This game is very good. sure in the beginning it was overlooked because of the lootbox controversy. But since then the developers at DICE really worked their skins off too revive the game and even if it's sad they didn't get in everything i wanted like ashoka, coruscant among others It went from a mess at launch to become one of the best shooters out there. If you have a chance go give it a try.

Можливо на релізі і були якісь проблеми але їх давно вже вирішили і крім цього dice підтримує гру більше двох років випускаючи кожний місяць абсолютно БЕЗКОШТОВНІ dlc.     As a Star Wars fan there are many things I liked about this title; easter eggs, the story, some characters, etc. However, its campaign is very short, and despite telling a new story (with new and classic characters from the saga) it doesn't have as much weight as I would have liked.

    Great graphics, but my ps4 pro sounds like plane when playing this :D
    At this point this game is pretty goods. But older Battlefront was better.

Starting off with a short yet boring/repetative/dull/cliche-filled/chore of a single player campaign that combines all the excitement of washing dishes with the pleasure of getting a tooth pulled. After that, you dive into multiplayer which serves to show you that in the SWIt might sound and look like Star Wars, but Battlefront II is anemic and straight up lazy in most other aspects. Starting off with a short yet boring/repetative/dull/cliche-filled/chore of a single player campaign that combines all the excitement of washing dishes with the pleasure of getting a tooth pulled. After that, you dive into multiplayer which serves to show you that in the SW world, if you aren't a jedi, life sucks. Aside from Heroes vs. Villains, all other modes feel weak and tedious. Sure, there's some excitement in charging down a straight path with 20 other stormtroopers, but that quickly wears off when you realise your guns are about as mighty as water ballons and you're better off just getting killed over and over again till' you get enough points to play as a Jedi. Even in a pre-Jedi Fallen Order world, this is a sad excuse of a Star Wars game.… Expand

    Battlefront II is a different game than launch day. The DLC has changed the whole game. ranging from characters and the modes. The Campaign is lackluster. But you call still tell EA still has there dirty hand. But you can tell that they were holding back a lot of the content back. I like this game. But this game has a lot Skeleton in the closet

    I always start with the positives so here we go,

    DICE NAILED the graphics and sounds. The Music feels like your playing Star Wars, the Blasters feel powerful. The graphics on all textures are amazing. And this is coming from a guy who puts graphics and artwork before anything.

    Some of the modes are actually good. Like Ewok hunt, Blast, and the new Capital Supremacy.

    Now on to the negatives

    While Loot-boxes are still a problem, they have become less forced. Sure you will get killed by a guy who has all maxed out cards, but thats not that common. I haven't purchased any loot-boxes or paid content, and i still have some fun playing.

    The story is terrible mainly because they REALLY try to emphasize that Iden is a strong, female Protagonist. She takes off her helmet about 50 times. You also barley see ANY emotion in the Story.    … Expand

    Maybe this game was incomplete in its launch, but now, with all its free DLCs, game modes and of course The Clone Wars and Prequels, its one of the best online shooter games.

The in-game economy is stingy so you have to grind to earn a good amount of money but it's only used for skins and emotes. Micro-transactions have no influence on gameplay.     Battelfront 2 has redeemed itself over the past year. They've worked hard to include so much content and variety that makes gameplay interesting and fun. Nothing quiet like this out there. Thanks Dice.....and EA.

    after 3 god damn years this game is still a mess , the gameplay is just buggy as hell, sometimes when you block the enemies attack , their attack will still get through your block , circumstances like this you really don't know when are you making the right choice or not in the game ,and it really should not be like this

    A friend bought me this game well after the lootboxes were removed from the game.     One thing is the addition of my favorite season the Clone Wars. which added Obi-Wan/Grievous/Dooku/Anakin and even the clone commando! along with others of course. The addition of capital supremacy was amazing. Honestly I think its better than the original and that's coming from a guy who creamed over that game. Now the only thing I have against the game right now would be the story. Yeah kinda lack luster protagonist and we all wish that they could just re-create the old battlefront story but that isn't possible due to Disney annexing it from cannon.
    Please if you ever get the chance, re-play the game with all the updates and you won't be as disappointed as you were 2 years ago.    … Expand

    Mis problemas al respecto son dos: que es repetitivo y al poco tiempo llega a aburrir, y las batallas galácticas.

    Simplemente no están bien logradas. Me han parecido poco pulidas, molestas, con una jugabilidad desaprovechada. Y, simplemente, quitan tiempo y espacio que pudo dedicarse a más misiones "regulares".

    GRÁFICOS:
    In-game el juego es bueno: buenos paisajes, animaciones decentes, buen manejo de luz. Es bueno.
    Pero las cinemáticas con estupendas. Muy muy superiores, Battlefront es una delicia narrativa, todas y cada una de las cinemáticas (acompañadas de la música, claro) son digas de ser llamadas Star Wars.

    SONIDO:
    Increíble. Cada pieza es majestuosa. El Soundtrack completo es maravilloso y le da al juego "eso" que necesita para merecer ser jugado.

    INNOVACIÓN:
    SWBII puede ser, a grandes rasgos, un buen juego. Pero no deja de ser un shooter más.    … Expand

Dice and EA keeps surprising us with awesome new expansions, new characters, maps, modes and more (totally free)! And with the new BB8 as aA MULTIPLAYER MASTERPIECE. This game is my #1 favorite game. So much has happened since the launch and it’s a whole new game. I keep coming back to this and there’s just so much to do in this game! Well invested money since you get so much out of it. Dice and EA keeps surprising us with awesome new expansions, new characters, maps, modes and more (totally free)! And with the new BB8 as a hero (and it magically works!?) things are only getting better and better... Now the tropical planet Scariff is coming to Battlefront II. Still think the 2005 one is the best as it does: Galactic conquest, hunt and the campaign superiorly to 2017. Has a boring a bland campaign. Some offline content. Все это, конечно, круто, но в последнее время появилась одна большая проблема, которая кроет все плюсы данной игры. Это проблема - пинг. Вот почему, почему во всех играх пинг стабильно держится ниже 10, а тут он вырастает настолько, что я буквально не могу играть? А самое главное,Еще недавно игра была вполне хорошей - супер графика, вполне нормальная сюжетка, контента нормально так и тд. Все это, конечно, круто, но в последнее время появилась одна большая проблема, которая кроет все плюсы данной игры. Это проблема - пинг. Вот почему, почему во всех играх пинг стабильно держится ниже 10, а тут он вырастает настолько, что я буквально не могу играть? А самое главное, что это вряд-ли проблема с интернетом, такое я встречаю очень часто в последнее время. Даже в чате иногда люди жалуются на крайне большой пинг.

    Как я сказал ранее, ЭТО теперь почти не играбельно. Бывают, конечно, редкие моменты, когда поиграть можно, они доставляют кайфа, но таких промежутков очень и очень мало. Радует, что хотя-бы остальные параметры держаться на высокой отметке (кроме баланса, тут вообще отдельный разговор). Радует также, что не у всех сильно распространена эта проблема. Иногда мне даже кажется, что DICE, а именно EA просто наплевали на коммьюнити еще раз, как они это сделали во время выхода игрушки.    … Expand

    Now with Plus, I was able to play the game without having to pay a high price, and I went without many expectations.

    O jogo de 2017 mudou muito para 2020, não posso dizer que é o mesmo jogo. A jogabilidade está excelente, mapas que lembram aos filmes e bem divertidos de jogar, a variedade de modos é bem legal e lógico existe os cosméticos, porém são acessíveis ( não precisando gastar com dinheiro de verdade).

The game as always looks beautiful, and with so many maps and heroes this time around...Now you would think they did a good job on the sequel, they actually somehow made it even worse.     *Only Single Player* A fairly average shooter with some portions of aerial combat and lightsabers thrown in. It's the skin of Star Wars and a decent plot following Iden Versio which saves the game from being a complete waste of time.

    Игра шикарна в плане графики. Но Данат всё портит. Да кейсов больше нет но остались кристаллы. Из за всего этого появился диз баланс.

    Очень хочу чтобы в 3 части Даната не было но это не возможно. Жаль.

    La historia no me gustó para nada, la introducción del personaje Iden Versio, fue completamente innecesaria, me hubiera conformado con que sea solo multijugador como Overwatch. El multijugador es completamente entretenido y lo disfrutas demasiado (por lo menos en mi caso), puedes elegir entre las facciones que fueron apareciendo a lo largo de las películas desde los separatistas hasta la primera orden, tiene modo cooperativo para jugar con tus amigos.
    El ganar experiencia y subir de nivel es, relativamente, fácil pero el ganar dinero, para comprarle accesorios a tus héroes, puede ser complicado pero posible.
    Disfrute mucho el multijugador más que la historia, por lo que recomiendo jugarlo en algún momento y, si no eres fan de Star Wars o no lo conoces, este definitivamente sería una buena introducción a su universo.    … Expand

The cards that upgrade your characters can give veteran players an unfair advantage and unlocking new weapons takes an insane amount of time. What results in this is frustrating multiplayer matches where you feel like you aren't contributing to the team and are simply grinding for more XP.

    The Starfighter Assault mode is the best mode in the game and does not suffer the same issues as the standard multiplayer matches.

    Overall, the core gameplay just isn't very fun and feels clunky. While I commend the developers for fixing the loot box issues, the game unfortunately just isn't all that great.    … Expand

    EA corrected their mistakes, though late. Removed all donat altogether. The game began to live, a lot of content and a lot of updates. The graphics are excellent for 2017, although it is now 2020. Unfortunately, the game is no longer supported. It is sad that Ahsoku Tano was not added to Battlefront 2, although there were hints of this.

    Amazing game! The devs worked incredibly hard to improve the game from its terrible start, and now it is now the most complete battlefront experience created! Lots of maps, nearly all important content available offline, lots of characters, heros, gamemodes, an ok campaign. A great game altogether. Wish the bugs were patched though.

    The greatest redemption story in recent video gaming memory. While EA surely does not deserve praise for how they handled micro-transactions at the beginning of this games' lifespan, DICE did a fantastic job supporting this game until EA pulled the plug.

    Sure, there are imbalances and content that could be added in the future, but the game is just wonderful in it's current state.

    2.5 years later, this game makes a huge comeback in the gaming industry. It adds new interesting game modes like Extraction and Ewok Hunt, adds new character heroes, adds new trooper factions, adds weapon fixes/balancing, and it even got rid of the controversial loot box system. But the campaign is still manure, which lowers one rating from a 10.

    Uncreative, repetitive, boring. Doing the same thing over over again is not gameplay. Yes, graphics are gorgeous, but graphics not equals game.
    It is not even Star Wars, the Stormtroopers are there, Luke and Leia too, but that's it. They are there, nothing else is.

    After the lackluster Battlefront 2015, EA brought us this game which improved in almost every single way. Especially gameplay and content wise. We have all eras represented with a phenomenal audiovisual fidelity. New content was added for free (still weird to say that out loud lol) for more than two years. That included new maps, heroes, reinforcements, skins, game modes and more. Also, communication with the dev team improved considerably and this was crucial for this game's turn around.
    I was a fan of the original BFII and stayed away from this game for as long as I could, but I could not resist checking it out after I saw gameplay and new Clone Wars content coming to this game. They even brought the voice actors from the series to voice the characters. As a result, the game feels like a very authentic Star Wars experience well worth the Star Wars name. Sound design, graphics and presentation all give that Star Wars feeling that we always wanted the new movies to have. Heck, even the sequel trilogy looks good on this game. Playing as the Sith Trooper is awesome!

    Now, this still isn't a perfect game, so let's talk about the flaws:
    This is mainly a multiplayer game, so don't expect too much from single player content. The campaign is very iffy, with a weak and predictable plot. It has its moments, but it never achieves anything great. There's also Arcade and Instant Action, which are nice but some maps that are available on multiplayer matches aren't available offline for some dumb reason.
    Some multiplayer modes are lacking too. As an example, the last update, that included the Original Trilogy maps to Supremacy (think Conquest mode from the old BFII, but with capital ships added), does not include the capital ships and that limits gameplay for this era, making it inferior to Clone Wars and Sequel eras.
    Also, bugs. Oh God, there is a lot of bugs. Matchmaking sometimes go completely goes awry, force abilities can sometimes make your character shake like crazy and some heroes are almost outright broken. During the content seasons the developers constantly introduced new bugs, broke heroes and made unnecessary buffs/nerfs to troopers and reinforcements. Now that the game is not updated anymore, we have Grievous and Darth Vader as killing machines, Anakin with an ability thats basically a suicide button and Chewbacca just... unusable in almost every game mode. Other heroes are fine, tho.

    This game is discounted most of the time, so it won't even be a big of an investment. Oh, by the way, if you like to unlock skins and cosmetics by your own, stick with the regular edition. EA recently launched a Celebration Edition, but the only difference is that it has all the skins unlocked by default.

    So, that is it. Don't let the controversy this game had at launch cloud your judgement. If you are a fan of Star Wars, this is the game you are looking for. The servers are very active and you will find fun matches all the time, even with all the flaws.    … Expand

This is the EA circle of hell, only way to get out was paying real money for the loot boxes. When they finally removed them they ironically removed the only way to break free from this vicious circle as well. It is time to stop buying EAs games.… Expand

Multiplayer has been fleshed out with more modes, maps, and heroes but the single-player experience is still lacking. It's sad how the single-player experience from the original Battlefront 2 outshines this attempt.

    A much improved game from what it was in 2017, lootboxes and micro-transactions have been entirely removed, and you can get a great offer on it now, I have hundreds of hours logged. My only complaint is that it is missing certain heroes such as Padme, Jango Fett, Asajj Ventress and Asokha Tano.

I don't how she grew upz what did he value, who does she hold dear? These are all extremely basic details in fleshing out a character and they didn't do that. The combat is embarassingly boring and stale. It's a third person with de-emphasized aiming. The game on the hardest difficulty is extremely easy but if you die you respawn at this obnoxious checkpoint. In the final arial battle of the game, I kept on dying 3 seconds after I respawned because the guy kept shooting one hit kill missiles at me. The multiplayer is by far the worst I have yet to see in a Video game. They hamfisted the loot pack system into a Star Wars game except it's not for cosmetics only. You can buy upgrades that make you better at the game. This leads to matches with 2 different players. The players who have the upgrades and kick everyone's ass, and the players who don't have the upgrades and can't do anything to win. The performance are not quite there yet and the maps are linear as hell. Battlefront ii sets the bar for visual design, but there is no substance. This is a terrible game because it twists an old beloved series into a cashgrab and spits in the face of players who fell victim to this game. Don't buy this game even if you are payed to play it. Stay as far away as possible. 2/10, terrible.… Expand

    This is why people hate on EA so much. They take what could be an awesome concept and monetize it to the point where you feel dirty for having given EA more money. Just skip EA games as much as possible until they stop doing this to their customers. With all the micro transactions at minimum games like this should be free to play, or just let us spend the $60-$70 on the game and drop that crap.

    Felt really incomplete. It was fun when you got to play characters Star Wars is known for, but there were other characters that may have been cute to look at but they weren’t as interesting. The multiplayer missed a lot of stiff in its original release but it’s gotten better over the years. It still doesn’t measure up to SWBFII the original back on PS2 and PC.     The single player campaign is passable in both its set pieces and narrative. The multiplayer has enough variety to keep the game interesting for a while, especially if you're a Star Wars fan.

    I love this game and keep on coming back for more. I've never bought a lootbox, nor do I really care what they do. The depth of modes are amazing, i love the grunts, heroes, and space battles.

    Al principio era un asco, actualmente se ha redimido al limitar las microtransacciones a cosas esteticas y esta muy bien.

    قصة عادية مكررة تخلو من أساسيات الإبداع ومهامها تتكرر أكثر من مرة لكن بشروط مختلفة
    وأسلوب اللعب عادي

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
