    I don't write a lot of reviews, but I was pretty disappointed in this game. I don't hate SWBF2, yet, but it did really put me off. I've seen a couple of bugs so far which isn't rare for launch day, but one of them had me restarting a checkpoint as it wouldn't let me kill a rebel that was rolling around on his back and thus I couldn't continue on to the next part of the mission.     When I jumped into the multi player I was really underwhelmed. It was a lot like the last game and while the settings/characters are cool, some maps just look way better then others this time around. I'm not saying that it was deal breaking bad graphics, but for some reason there was weird draw in at very short distances for textures and smaller non moving pieces as well as poor lighting while planet side. The Death Star seemed more polished then Kashyyyk, however I was disillusioned that setting don't seem to be utilized beyond the visuals do break up or add anything to game play. And speaking of game play it feels like it has devolved somehow from the last game. The controls and aiming just don't feel as tight. Even more upsetting to me was I was under the impression that the more "Arcade" style of the last game would take a back seat in this time around, but it's amped up with a stronger focus on star cards. They have you plugging away at them from the get go.

    Lastly, the campaign story is just pathetic and I have to applaud whoever it was that made getting into a AT-AT the most boring thing you could do in a Star Wars video game. Bravo. That took some skill. Without giving any spoilers I have to say the character arcs and turns are just abusive to the fans. We are very used to the more intelligent stories we have been getting in the current Star Wars universe and if they are saying that this is canon then I might have to rethink preordering my movie tickets for "The Last Jedi."

    Not the worst game ever so I'll give it a few weeks and see what happens after a few patches.

    Oh and the cover system really needed to be updated from the last game. It was one of the weaker parts of the gameplay, but it is exactly the same which is to say that it basically doesn't exist.

    ONE UPDATE - While playing the campaign I experienced strange flickering during cut scenes. It would just go black for a quarter of a second over and over again during cut scenes creating a strange flashing. Seriously, if you have epilepsy don't play this game until this bug is fixed.    … Expand

    As much as I hate EA this games shocked me. If the gambling was not removed this would get a 5. The game has improved so much since the beta. It will never be as good as its predecessor but I deem it worthy of the line of my favourite Star Wars game (other than the force unleashed).

    I played Star Wars Battlefront on Origin Pc for 300 hours. I have been waiting for a year for this game and pre-ordered the Ps4 Battlefront 2 bundle. I watched all the negative press and even participated in the downvote of lootboxes on reddit. Now I am playing BF2 on Ps4 and I have to say this game is absolutely AMAZING!!! people should start playing now because you are missing out on anI played Star Wars Battlefront on Origin Pc for 300 hours.     game is pretty fun. While I understand the hate for loot boxes, I think there are games out there that are much more deserving of this hate. It just so happened that the sheep jumped on this bandwagon instead of another.

    Great Gameplay, and the lootboxes are needed for free dlc, and no season pass. This is a drastically improved game compared to the last, and all the haters need to go back to their moms basement and play some more FIFA.

The progression system needs a lot of work, and EA skirted dangerously close to "pay to win" with the original loot crates system, but as a lifelong Star Wars fan it's tough not to just let the high production value fan service wash over me. 12v12 Starfighter matches are myMicro-transactions controversy not withstanding, Battlefront 2 is better than the original by every metric.     Talk about first world problems... I played 8 rounds of multiplayer and unlocked Darth Vader which maybe took around 2ish hours. I like the idea of working towards something rather than being handed everything... maybe that's my generation talking though. Heaven forbid anyone have to EARN anything in game. The game isn't bad at all and plays rather nicely compared to other titles that haveTalk about first world problems...     Besides the fact that EA tries really hard to gain money, by letting gamers buy shortcuts for heroes, the game itself is a huge step forward in the right direction. It looks great on PS4 Pro, has lots of different game modes in multiplayer and is finally the product we've been hardly tried to see in battlefront 1. With lots of things to do and the motivation to play a certain amount of hours to unlock heroes first - except you are a rich kid with daddy's credit card - EA created a pretty good compromise for hardcore and casual players.

    Thankfully most heroes don't cost 60k credits anymore. So far, I'm a bit impressed what EA did, after people **** a reddit thread and voted down an explanation about 'why people should be proud to earn in a game, they already paid 60$ for'. But that's no reason to give a bad score to a great product. The upcoming DLC is completely free and somehow EA still tries to make money by giving an opportunity to earn heroes faster. To me, I don't really care. I won't spend money on this one and will try to earn my heroes with ingame credits. So should everyone else. The game is great, accept it.    … Expand

    Well, it's really cool and entertaining, every battle (on ground or in space) looks like movie, the campaing extends sw univerce and tells us a soulful story of average soldiers.
    Those whining guys, who place "0" or "1" probably didnt play game at all. Thank you dice, motive and criterion for your good job.

    Antes de entrar a valorar el juego como tal, he de decir que llevo unas 24 horas de juego, he conseguido la mayoría de los héroes (por lo menos la mayoría de los que me interesan y con los que quiero jugar, claro), y tengo las cartas y armas que más me gustan sin haber soltado un centavo de más. Tengo las mismas ventajas y debilidades que mis contrincantes en casi cada partida que juego.Antes de entrar a valorar el juego como tal, he de decir que llevo unas 24 horas de juego, he conseguido la mayoría de los héroes (por lo menos la mayoría de los que me interesan y con los que quiero jugar, claro), y tengo las cartas y armas que más me gustan sin haber soltado un centavo de más. Tengo las mismas ventajas y debilidades que mis contrincantes en casi cada partida que juego. Considero que se ha exagerado con la crítica al sistema de progresión. Es un poco injusto y extraño, con cartas que, directamente, chetan a los personajes, pero como son totalmente aleatorias y el campo de batalla es tan frenético apenas notas diferencia con los que tienen un nivel más avanzado. Y además está confirmado que van a lanzar contenidos gratuitos cada cierto tiempo y van a mantener el juego "vivo" y actualizado.

    Y ahora hablemos del juego: Si eres fan de Star Wars, de los de tener tazas para desayunar, óleos de Vader en tu cuarto, y llamas a tu moto "Mi 74-Z Speeder", es tu juego. La ambientación es sencillamente inmejorable. Inmersivo a más no poder. Tienes la opción de retirar el HUD de la pantalla para hacerlo aún más realista, y realmente parece que estés dentro de la batalla, una locura. El sonido es espectacular (recomiendo jugar con cascos con buenos graves o con unos altavoces con un subwoofer potente) y la iluminación es mejorable (de hecho creo que la de la primera entrega le supera) pero bastante realista. Juego con un i7-7440 y una GTX960 de 4 GB y 4 GB de RAM, y con todos los parámetros en alto mantengo los 60 fps constantes a 1080. A veces si hay mucho jaleo puede bajar a 50, pero en muy contadas ocasiones y en mapas y zonas muy concretas. La optimización es un 10. El sistema de naves y de batallas espaciales se queda un poco corto con respecto a su predecesor de 2005 pero la jugabilidad y el manejo es realmente satisfactorio y muy frenético. Cuesta un poco acostumbrarse, pero en cuanto te adaptas todo es coser y cantar. El modo de primera persona en las batallas de naves es abrumador y te sientes realmente un piloto imperial (o de la facción que toque). Jugablemente hay disponibles 4 clases básicas + 2 especiales + héroes. Las básicas son en ambos bandos, eras y mapas, totalmente idénticas (cambia la estética, naturalmente), y cada cual se siente diferente y con un rol bastante diferenciado en el campo de batalla. Además puedes acompañar las clases con cartas estelares para cambiar las habilidades principales (ponerte una granada de iones en vez de una explosiva, o un escudo deflector en lugar de un sonar) para adaptar a tu forma de jugar cada personaje. Conforme vas consiguiendo puntos de batalla en la partida, bien sea capturando bases, cumpliendo objetivos, o eliminando enemigos, puedes "comprar" unidades especiales para manejarlas y aumentar tu daño o tu movilidad. O invertirlas en los diferentes vehículos y héroes.

    En definitiva. Si eres fan de Star Wars vas a disfrutar como un enano hasta cuando no paren de matarte una y otra vez, porque está todo conseguidísimo y muy bien hecho, hasta el más mínimo detalle. Además, como shooter (independientemente de la ambientación galáctica) cumple bastante bien, y es muy variado y entretenido de jugar.

    As far as progression goes.... it's not as bad as people would have you believe. You really don't need to buy crates since all the good stuff (heroes and weapons) need to be unlocked by playing the game. The advantage gained through loot crates is not that big and if you are even a half descent player you will not need them in order to win.
    You should be able to unlock one hero during one evening (aprox. 3 to 4 hours) of play.
    Some of the Hut Contracts in SWBF1 took as much time to complete.

    The reward for playing a game is rather low (220 credits for a round of Blast) and would be nicer if the reward was linked to the players performance.
    But then again.... a round of blast is usually over in a couple of minutes.
    Add to that the extra credits you get from completing challenges and you will see that the progression system is not to bad at all.
    Not to mention that all the DLC will be free, a bucket load of which will be released in December along with the new movie (including another story line for SP).
    Me thinks this game is a good deal.

Никакого pay wall или p2w в игре нет. Есть монетизация через лутбоксы, но при этом герои и карты открываются без проблем без доната. DLC бесплатны. Положительных эмоций от игры масса.Отличный сиквел.     - The in-play reward system is a lot better than Battlefront 1's. You earn points for actions and use them to spawn as tougher units and heroes.

    Cons:
    - Even though well balanced, playing as a starfighter in normal MP battles gives to many points.
    - Loot boxes are too expensive. Should be lowered to around half.
    - Should get some crafting material for matches or dailies.
    - Campaign story was boring. (It was worth playing through, it contained some good moments.)

    All in all, a great game that I would recommend. All the cons can be fixed on a patch, except the campaign.
    Furthermore, the game is finished. There will come dlcs with more content like every other multiplayer game. This is to give us more replayability throughout the game. It is a good way to make it interesting. I have played for 15 hours btw, and I have all the heroes I want and a lot of cards on the units I use.

    The game is fantastic, looks absolutely amazing, plays really well and can really be its own thing, separate from Battlefield.

    Giving it a 0 is not in my interest, I fully agree that the practices with the loot boxes ruins certain aspects of the game and makes progression feel distant and even unfair at certain points.

    Still, great game, fun to play!

    The game is a solid well put together piece of art. Graphically you can tell how much time and effort was put into the detail (especially in 4K). The campaign that was finally added was a lot shorter than I anticipated (completable in about 4 hours) however, the story that was playable had so much important content revolving the main cannon storyline that it was worth being short. Also, the game was geared to be multiplayer anyway and not to take away from online but I was even more happy that the arcade mode provided a base reason for those without internet connection to still be able to play. In addition to solo, arcade mode also utilizes couch co-op/versus to allow you and your friends to gather and play as a team or free for all and in different types of battles as well. One of the biggest complaints I am seeing is about credit drops and though they don't drop that often you still get enough to buy characters and/or loot crates you just have to be smart when making decisions. If anyone is going to complain about people spending money to buy crates, credits, hero's or whatever purchasable then buy some yourself and if you dont feel like it or don't feel like putting in the work then my suggestion is dont play any online game ever because it is not just EA or BF2 that makes (mods, if you will) content available for those willing to spend money (THAT IS HOW COMPANIES MAKE ENOUGH MONEY TO MAKE MORE GAMES!). Please just play the game for what it is because graphically the game is phenomenal, the campaign was so well written it ties in answers to the films, the offline arcade mode adds to the fun of playing with friends for those who don't want to spend money and then the online multiplayer adds tons of more fun to the equation.… Expand

    Great graphics and gun play, story is surprisingly well fit into the universe, the arcade mode being only local co-op was a disappointment.
    The multiplayer is a bit unbalanced as well but i'm sure it will be adjusted.
    This game is fun, but sadly all the reviews are for the loot boxes, and not the game play.

    The microtransactions are so crappy that I want to burn my copy but the solid multiplayer manages to save this game from falling into a pit off dissapiontmant and horror EA have put this game out before it was finished again and that is why this game has a crappy singleplayer microtransaction and LOOTCARTES.

    I really don't get all this hate. The game is better from all points of view compared to the game from 2015, except for the crate system. Everything is improved except for let's say customization. You can no longer select races for the Resistance or Rebels and you only have 4 weapons per class.     I've spent about 10 - 11 hours playing the multiplayer game and really enjoyed it allot. The graphics look great (PS4) and the game play kept me interested for a few hours at a time. This is a much more in depth game than the previous Battlefront. Not going to get into the loot boxes at this time.

And i am playing on ps4 and you know, even with fact that i play vs guys with epics on ps4... k/d is 20 to 8 or more kills. I KNOW that epic cards give you a Little chance to get more kills.     The game is beautiful, sound design, spot on, as usual, and the games modes and objectives are typical of the genre. This game shines with the starfighter battles, the hero battles, and the massive galactic battles.

    Really a great entry to the series. Oh, you want to hear about loot boxes and dumb crap? The multiplayer is great the weapons don't feel like a copy and paste of each other with a couple values switched, Galactic Assault is a very fun objective mode where the attackers like on Theed starts with the Separatist trying to get their MTT to the palace entrance to invade and take control of Naboo. Then if the Separatist succeed on making it to the palace gates the Republic has to defend certain points to protect the throne room, then the last stage protecting the throne room with a capture area objective. With my experience the star cards on trooper gameplay it didn't really matter what your cards where everyone was basically on a even playing field it didn't notice any real advantage of high powered star cards while playing as the ground troops I killed them as much or more than them even if they had better star cards. Starfighter Assault is where the star cards need a complete rework, the star cards in Star Fighter Assault change it way too much. The star cards can change the speed of the ship, the rate of fire of the guns, In my opinion in Star Fighter needs a rework of the star cards to not me so overpowered… Expand

    We should appreciate the game itself but not the lootbox system that can be changed in future. Lots of work done by developers should not be ruined by only publisher mistake.

The criticism this game is getting is literally focused entirely on the fact that there are microtransactions that make your one-shot-and-I'm-dead soldier into a two-shots-and-I'm dead soldier. Like...come on, guys. A 0 score? Dice busted their ass to make sure this game was something that you could legitimately enjoy if you like Star Wars. EA made their adjustments, and we now have a fun game that's being held back by a slightly annoying progression system. To everyone whining about being unable to play Luke or Vader, you do understand that by completing the campaign and maybe, I dunno, two or three games of galactic conquest, you're basically given enough credits to purchase one or the other? Dice and Battlefront 2 are unfortunately the targets for everyone's hate for microtransactions--but the game as it stands is a blast to play, functions perfectly, has a campaign that gives you the chance to try the heroes you can take out into multiplayer, and screw around in the Star Wars universe.     A stunning visual achievement. Kudos to the artists who put their heart into it. A shame that most reviewers see fit to attack it for decisions made by management, not the creatives. Reminds me of a "0" score given for a good product that was shipped late or arrived damaged.

    Now to the lootboxes. I have grinded at least 6 trooper chests on a sunday afteroon, while havin fun in the galactic assault, and did not feel Iv been outplayed only because of the ability cards. (specialist stealth card OP, you can craft for 50 or something like that, for example, comon everyone can get 50 parts from the first daily box they open up). By the way I know, and understand your point people, we dont need p2w systems, we dont need subscription based games and systems, we dont need paid dlc and season pass content. We want buy-and-done games round 40-50 bucks. Hell we want games for free. But thats not, how the game industry works. Deal with it, have fun, and the star cards will follow soon.

    At the moment I would give the game an 8 out of 10 (7 if I wouldnt love the universe), but this time I ll rate it to 10 just to counter all the hate and stupidity that rages on.

    Well done devs and publisher, SW:BF 2 is a GREAT game, thats worth your time and money.

Что касается микро транзакций , то следовало бы тогда продавать как раз таки скины на персонажей , а не улучшение. Продовать скины нормальная практика , которой уже давно пользуются многие многопользовательские игры.
    Я считаю что игра удалась и да в ней много чего еще стоит добавить , но надеюсь создатели не будут скупы на следующие дополнения и подарят нам много нового ( то чего реально хотят игроки ) . Создателям желаю удачи и главное вам пережить этот не приятный момент который к сожалению создали вы сами. Всё таки продавать улучшения за деньги это то с чем бы не хотел столкнутся игрок в своей любимой и ожидаемой игре. Из за этого многие пользователи даже не разглядели ваших стараний. Не увидели на сколько прекрасна игра и затягивающая.
    Надеюсь Battlefront 2 реанимируется . Ждем хороших дополнений и интересных ивентов.

    But back to the game, swbf2 is a major AAA title and one of the best gemes this year and perhaps one of the best shooters of all time, i spent 4 days in the game so far and already have all heros just by playing the game and earning credits trough multiplayer matcher, missions and the storymode, so no, you dont need to pay real money for your locked heros, just play the **** game like you would play any other gamey so 30% of the critics here are just stupid because they rely soley on the fact that you have to buy the locked heroes, this is just not true so the reviews on this are all useless!

    The maps are amazing, big but well designed, quite detailed and the sound is just astonishing!
    Overall the content is top notch and best of all, everything after that is free so no playerbase split due to a season pass or premium pass, thats how it should be

    Even the damn starcards aint a problem, i didnt spent a cent of real money on the lootboxes and already got a decent amount of good starcards, the amount of starcards and the variation is also really good!
    And a have a lot left so even after many hours of playing i can still earn cards and get rewarded for playing the game!

    I didnt care about the story but after finishing the well told story of iden versio and her fight for the good i was quite impressed and hope they will continue this story in swbf3
    I found all secrets and enjoyed the impressive levels, all in all it took me a bit over 6 hours to complete the story fully and this is mainly a online shooter, the story though is longer and better than in some other "only singleplayer story games"

    Its good to see though that the community has finally come together and take a stand, but you chose the wrong game, dice didnt deserve that, almost 80% of what people tell you about he lootboxes, locked chars and pay to win just isnt true, dont believe that **** that seems to happen now every year to a certain randomly choosen game, focus on the games and publishers that really deserve such an **** ubisoft releases game after games and every game they release is crap and just built on lies, and noone gives a **** activision rapes the gamers financially every year, for years now and people buy cod like idiots, why?

Однажды прихожу я домой и вижу на Ютубе ролик, мол какой-то человек гамает в пробную версию на Пк, так началось мое знакомство с этой игрой на ПК, до этого слышал много информации про лутбоксы, но не обратил внимания на них, потому что есть везде и во все что я играл они мне не мешали. После дня игры на пк решил все-таки предзаказать на PS4, ибо на пк постоянно куча читеров, небольшой онлайн и в дневное время игроков не найти. Когда 13.11 я запустил игру, то увидел первую часть только с увеличенным в двое количеством контента и не пожалел ниразу, в итоге мне удалось поиграть в релизную версию и я увидел, что все те кто ныли по поводу того, что герои стоят дорого все-таки своего добились и теперь Вейдер вместо 60к стоит 15, считаю это полным идиотизмом, так резко менять цену, считал эту цену нормальной, так как была бы мотивация на игру в будущем да и от того ,что я смог накопить 60к я бы ощущал себя уберменшем. После этого я открыл все лутбоксы, что давались мне за предзаказ и пошел мочить джедайскую погань в мультиплеер результатом стало поражение, но по kda 20 килов, что для меня краба с клешнями довольно-таки неплохо. Далее поиграл в сюжет и могу сказать он неплох, прошел неполностью ,но миссия со Люком зашла на все 146%. Хочу резюмировать все выше мной сказанное,игра отличная, лутбоксы никак не мешают нормально играть,сюжет завлекает, донатить в данный проект никакого желания нет да и не будет, так как все можно сделать своими силами, а это чувство может появится только у морально слабых людей, которые пишут нулевые отзывы, идут за стадом и не имеют своего мнения. Поэтому ставлю 10, фанатам Звездных Войн играть обязательно остальным проходить мимо и не засирать данный проект.… Expand

Сыграл 10 часов и почти всегда входил в топ 3 игроков на сервере, имея лишь прямые руки и стандартное оружие, не юзая карточек.У меня всё.Как все заявляют,что в игре система p2w они не правы.     All this talk of loot is getting out of hand. The idea of loot boxes etc etc is basically the same as Overwatch etc etc so dont let that affect the games. The game itself is brilliant fun and pushes the original to even higher platforms

    I'm reviewing my overall gaming experience with this game. The visuals and sound are all mind blowing. They've answered my prayers to the content given: - Campaign - Heroes from all eras - Classes - Space battles Online is great. I hardly get disconnected, not much lag. Unlocked Vader for 15k and saving up for Luke. Got most of my currency finishing    Microtransactions aside.

I am having a blast and spent 60 hours+ already (got the deluxe so I started on the 14th + EA access on the 13th). Campaign is average, but has beautiful vistas and fun humour.     Most ppl here reviewd the game without even buying/playing it ^^ So every "0" review is wothless.

    Game has great graphic, great gameplay and great Star Wars feeling and that's a fact.

    Problem is microtransactions which shouldn't be there, I agree. But it's no P2W game. PPl who say that don't even know how system works in this game and aparently don't know what p2w means.

    I preordered this game and dont regret a thing. Unlocking characters is easy and FREE!!!! If u dont want to pay money you dont have to. Honestly this game is so fun and it's great to shoot and kill hundreds of people as that is what i like to do in games. If u think you are too smart for this game why dont u play some awful indie or puzzle game, losers

Я очень рад то что DLC будут бесплатными. Игра мне напомнила тот классический Battlefront 2005 года. 10 из 10. С радостью буду играть в нее годамиИгра очень хорошая, начиная от графики заканчиваю кампанией. Сюжет интересен. Мультиплеер как всегда на высоте.     Personally I love the game play and the quick, yet fun campaign. Don't listen to all the hate over the micro transactions because they're being replaced with a cosmetic system and I'm tired of people **** even after they got what they wanted. If u weren't planning on playing the game there's no reason for you to be involved in the hate.

    Besides the fact that EA tries really hard to gain money, by letting gamers buy shortcuts for heroes, the game itself is a huge step forward in the right direction. It looks great on PS4 Pro, has lots of different game modes in multiplayer and is finally the product we've been hardly tried to see in battlefront 1. With lots of things to do and the motivation to play a certain amount of hours to unlock heroes first - except you are a rich kid with daddy's credit card - EA created a pretty good compromise for hardcore and casual players.

    Thankfully most heroes don't cost 60k credits anymore. So far, I'm a bit impressed what EA did, after people **** a reddit thread and voted down an explanation about 'why people should be proud to earn in a game, they already paid 60$ for'. But that's no reason to give a bad score to a great product. The upcoming DLC is completely free and somehow EA still tries to make money by giving an opportunity to earn heroes faster.     While the microtransactions are not great, for me they don't ruin what is an incredible Star Wars game. It has the perfect Star Wars feel and the gameplay is simply amazing. I look forward to the changes that the team will implement to improve the microtransaction problems but I will continue to enjoy the game regardless as I feel it does justice to the world of Star Wars.

    why are people making this amazing game seem like its trash, this is an amazing sequel to the garbage Star Wars Battlefront 2015. We have barely even touched the game yet and people are judging the loot boxes. Yeah, the loot boxes were bad during the EA access version, but the loot boxes are going to be fixed and we just need to wait for the full release tomorrow and on Friday.

The progression is great and I can unlock all heros in a coulple of hours so it is not that long to unlock them all.     So schlecht ist das Spiel auch nicht. Es macht eigentlich viel richtig und gehört somit zu den besten der Star Wars Spiele. Man kann dieses Lootbox-System kritisieren, es ist aber immerhin besser als ein Season-Pass. Außerdem wird man sämtliche DLCs geschenkt bekommen...

    Battlefront 2 is a fantastic multiplayer game with a obviously unpopular progression system. That said if you intend to not spend any money on loot crates then you don't have to, I've spent $0 extra in game and it hasn't stopped from regularly topping the leader boards. The campaign is half assed but if keeping the loot crates gives EA money to keep making more content then keep it.

It presented an intriguing narrative that helps to bridge the gap between episodes 6 and 7.     The truth is, in a multiplayer mode, you WON'T' get matched with people who have better gears or skills than you. it is taken care of by the match making system. You will only get matched with people with similar gears and levels with you.

    The 59 price gets you a good single player mode and a good multiplayer mode. EA as a business would need to have some kind of strategy to make money to keep develop content, those people who developed the games don't do it for free.

    Multiplayer is where this game shines, largely because there's so many cool and different modes to play. There's HUGE maps and numbers of players, not you can play as small as 8 vs 8, 10 vs 10, or even just 4v4 with the best characters in the game. There's also epic space battles with vehicles.

    Since the Day 1 change to loot you can buy heroes and villains at decently affordable prices now. Just playing and completing challenges will get you the most expensive character after just a few hours of multiplayer. However, getting all the perks of each character is luck of the loot crate draw. The only thing I don't like about this system is that you can't upgrade your cards using crafting parts until you get a ton of cards for that particular character. This will take a while and it makes you choose between opening crates and unlocking heroes or villains for the first dozen hours or so, which stinks.

    Overall though the multiplayer modes are a lot of fun, which is where the bread and butter is for this game. Arcade is also great and I LOVE that there's split screen capabilities. Just having a lightsaber battle with your buddy sitting on the couch next to you is worth trying this game. It hard to argue against the gameplay and the diversity of multiplayer modes.    … Expand

    Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
