    This is gaming in 2017. Buy a AAA game for full price and deal with f2p cash shop that has 100% pay to win things in it. Thx but i am out. Not with me EA. And i am sorry that DICE has to deal with that s***storm now. Stop bashing DICE pls. This mechanics all come from those EA wannabe gamers.

    What boggles the mind is that EA really found it somehow okay to charge 60 dollars/euro's for a fullprice game AND have pay2win free mobile games mechanics in this game. Surely there must have been sensible people within EA that thought that this was a step too far? I feel sorry for the developers but still this game need to go down in flames.     Pissing in a puddle is more fun than playing this game. EA should fire whoever was in charge of this gambling machine they developed. I actually don't wish anyone to lose their job over this...but take a good look at what you've done. This is not gaming. This is not "fun". Time for EA to press the reset button...they've gone way too far and hopefully they'll pay for it.

    This is the epitome of Pay2Win.
    You unlock Charakters which should be unlocked by default.
    Either buy them for Money, or grind grind grind grind grind.

    At this stage I'm unsure if anything can truly ameliorate the ineptitude of EA's handling of Battlefront 2.
    What was once such a promising title has now been relegated to the same crude depths as Big Rigs and Superman 64

One is a video game who gives ownership to the player and gives options to the player you can play 2 to 4 player local coop good single player and a online mode if you want to play with other people unlocking new accesories weapons the more you play the game in both modes online and offline. Service games has no place on a home console Battlefront 2 is a service game that you have to be always online to access the 80% of the whole experience and also introduce Microtransactions in a form of Loot Crates. To progress you have to play the same maps and levels more than 10000 hours or more to unlocked everything without paying extra money or spend real money to unlocked weapons more quickly. This is the worst thing happened to gaming i know making Star Wars Battlefront 2 costs a lot of money but this is not the way you punished players. I prefer they put a complete game but offline and online and sell the game more than 59.99 dollars instead of putting Loot Crates Microtransactions that you can spend more than 300 dollars to get everything. This is insane. Please dont buy this game this is the type of things that are killing videogames in general. Vote with your wallet and dont buy this game. Gamers have the power to change the video game industry. Video Games should not transform into a service. Its entertainment. Gamers want to buy the whole game and play it whatever they want. Offline or online is your choice and both modes should be connected to unlocked the same things.… Expand

    So you par 60$ for the game, to pay extra $ to play with others on multiplayer unless you want to lose every time . This is a big joke !no thank you, no more EA games, thank god I didnt pay for need for speed payback. Im not intrested for P2Win games unless they are free to play, but here you have to spend 60$ than spend extra money for cards. BIG JOKE

    P2W не должен пройти. Я вернул игру, хотя она мне очень понравилась, с удовольствием играл на ОБТ и по программе "Играй в числе первых". Сделали из годноты Warface во вселенной Star Wars!

    A free to play game that's being sold at a full price. The publisher is being disingenuous trying to justify the insane microtransactions and lootboxes. The whole game is balanced to milk the most amount of money out of the player. If you're not paying you are going to get destroyed by the people that did pay.     Game mechanics broken by progression being gated behind long grinds or paying for fake currency. Multiplayer imbalanced by pay to win loot crates. If you want all your future games to include a Gambling for Kids feature then go ahead an buy it. Not me. Most disappointing implementation of a star wars IP ever including anything featuring Jar Jar Binks.

    If you want to waste your time playing 2 lose against pay2win players then this game is for you. EA has messed this game up bad and I'm sad to see the online will not last due to all of the negative reviews and gambling aspect of this game. DO NOT BUY!

    Играю в игры от Dice со времен Battlefriled 1942 и пожалуй закончу на battlefrield 1. Неужели у ЕА не хватает денег, спортивные симуляторы, nfs и тот же sims. По курсу акций у ЕА все замечательно. Я готов платить за season pass, но не за режим pay to win.

    The only way EA will listen is by voting with your wallet. EA will change if it means more profit. They need to learn that making good games is the best way to make money not micro transactions and abusing fans of Star Wars.

The single-player campaign is nothing but a nostalgia fest and considering I expected it to be a great bridge between the trilogies, I was severely disappointed. It is simply an 8-hour senseless shooter campaign that entices you with some pretty visuals while forcing you to accept the SJW nature that lies under the veil.

    To say this game is pretentious would be an understatement. EA has armed themselves well with smoke and mirrors to misdirect people's attention from the game's glaring issues. The multiplayer may very well be the greatest failure I have ever seen in a video game. Decades of pride and honor that Lucas Film and Disney have spent building and shaping a universe for us to get lost in and what happens when we finally get to have an interactive experience that we can share with our friends in Battlefront II? Nothing. Nothing happens.

    The game does not allow you to play your favourite heroes classes like you would be expect. For a game you've already paid money for, EA expect you to pay more. They take advantage of people's love for a series by slapping everything they want behind a paywall. The entire progression system is based around randomized loot boxes that can be bought with real money or earned in-game through HOURS of gameplay just for one. Almost everything you love about Star Wars is in these loot boxes and can't be played with when you first launch the game. The hero classes, which include series icons such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker and Chewbacca all require nearly 40 hours of play time for a single one.

    I honestly can't believe how bad the practices within this industry have gotten. I want to remind everyone that the best way to combat scum like EA is to vote with your wallets. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.    … Expand

    Wow, I still can't believe what a missed opportunity this game was. As much fun and epic as the multiplayer is, it's SEVERELY crippled by the ridiculous and greedy loot crate system.

    payer 60 euros pour un jeux incomplet, aucun intérêt. Il faut jouer 4528 h pour tout obtenir dans le jeux ... aucun intérêt. EA doit absolument changer ses principes. Pourquoi payer 4 ou 5 fois le même jeux. Perso je passe mon chemin.

    PAY. TO. WIN. Single Player Campaign: Mechanical Gameplay set at the level of Doom (1993), even Level Design cames from any 20 years ago videogame. Great graphic, ridicoulous game, bad step for EA!

    And yes, by the way, i DO have a Star Wars™ Battlefront™ 2 tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It’s for the Twi'leks’ eyes only- and even then they have to demonstrate that they’re within 60,000 credits of my own (preferably lower) beforehand. Nothin personnel armchair developer :sunglasses:

    EA has absolutely no respect to the game community. Adding these loot boxes to the game makes it look more like gambling. I will never support this and I hope people don't buy this game, or the gaming industry will just get worse.

    Pay to Win mobile model in a 60€ game is something that gamers do not want. Only EA could try to pull this off but i know that the majority of gamers will vote this decision with their wallet by not buying the game.     Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
