Nov 17, 2017a game completely destroyed by the abysmal practices of the developer, im sorry for dice , but ea is garbage
thanks for scaming the star wars fanbase -
Nov 16, 2017EA's Greed has brought this game to shame. Such a waste of the Star Wars License. Lootboxes and Micro-transactions should be banned indefinitely, ruined this game and exposing children to GAMBLING.

Nov 16, 2017I discovered microtransactions in Star Wars: Battlefront II and the controversy has blown up in EA's face. I will not spend a dime on loot boxes after paying $60 for the game. They are preying on young children too. Let's boycott the game as users until this goes away.
-
Nov 16, 2017The only good thing about this game is that it's put the gambling-like nature of buying loot boxes in games out in the zeitgeist. People completely unrelated to this game know about and holding it up as an example of corporate greed preying on consumers.

Nov 16, 2017Unplayable from a single player/offline perspective due to corporate/beuracratic greed. Please do not support this unacceptable behavior, or this will continue in the future.
-
Nov 16, 2017EA should focus on making a good game and letting it sell as it deserves, instead of limiting the game to get more money. I refused to buy another EA game with these current practices.
-
Nov 16, 2017Star Wars Battlefront 2 was better on older consoles likes ps2 and original xbox. Don't buy this game don't support EA unless you want pay to win mechanics in all of your games
-
Nov 16, 2017Would have been a pretty good game if it weren't for the damn microtransactions forcing you to pay to access **** that you PAID for when you bought the game!
-
Nov 16, 2017Lootboxes at their worst, yet typical for EA. They could have worked out a better way to get extra money from the game, so the people who already paid full price would not feel forced to pay possibly thousands of dollars (no joke, unlocking everything costs over a thousand dollars). It's starting to fire back on them, as they deserve.
-
Nov 16, 2017Yes, this is just another hate review. I won't buy this game and I am sure EA won't mind at all this bad buzz for the game as long as it sells but this is a way to making us be heard. I'm doing my part

Nov 16, 2017I absolutely reject the idea of microtransactions for anything on paid games (even more if they're games prices +$50 and the microtransactions are not only for cosmetic items).
Buying - or not refunding - this legitimates the foreseeable future of gaming. Pay for the game, pay again to play it. -

Nov 16, 2017EA comes out as excessively greedy with this game that is entirely based on pay2win mechanism
This is the kind of thing one see on cheap apps on Apple Store, not what you'd expect from a premium game. -
Nov 16, 2017EA is the most evil money grubbing game company in the market that ruins everything they touch, including this game which would otherwise be great. Thanks EA. Thanks for ruining the hard work of the developers who spent sleepless nights making this polished game to turn it into complete corporate money grubbing ****

Nov 16, 2017It's a shame that we waited so long for a game that is a shell of the original. It's a pay to win Mobil game that is being sold as a full price game.
It either takes thousands of hours or thousands of dollars to unlock the most useful items.
Maybe someday we will get a proper battlefront 2, but it's not this current game. -
Nov 16, 2017Pay2Win can kiss my @ss. This would be an amazing game if the publishers didn't push features like lootboxes. The lootbox system in this game is literal gambling. So if EA and Disney want to connect Star Wars titles to gambling, that's their decision but its a decision that sucks.
-
Nov 16, 2017Locking tons of content behind a grindy paywall is something you would expect from a scummy free to play game, not a $60 AAA experience. EA's greed has killed a better than average game.
-
Nov 16, 2017The only "sense of accomplishment" Battlefront fans will get from this game is in the form of pride in the **** they've created against one of the worst implementations of micro transactions in a AAA, full price game ever. As consumers an a capitalistic society it is everyone's duty not to support devs who ruin the games we love for profit.
-
Nov 16, 2017This game is everything that i hate about EA. KIlling games with good mechanic with Pay-to-win model and Microtransactions.
If Luke was real. He would jump off a building if he sees what EA done with this franchise.
If Vader was real. He would jump in the lava again.
If Yoda was real. He would say "these **** are nuts if they think i'd pre-orders this pile of **** -
Nov 16, 2017EA decided to incorporate loot boxes, gambling, pay to win, and grinding into a $60 game. On top of that, they had the balls to call the game "Star Wars Battlefront II", which is an insult to one of the greatest video games of all time
-
Nov 16, 2017Lootcrates are form of gambling. Sometimes you win what you want and sometimes you don't win what you want. That's gambling isn't it. EA wants us to gamble to win in Battlefront 2
-
Nov 16, 2017The very embodiment of Pay to win itself. EA has truly suffered from this game - not only will features be locked behind a paywall, but we also won't be falling into the trap of paying for them.
I hope you're happy. EA - it's in the Pay. -
Nov 16, 2017salut depuis paris France allez on va place une sale note EA qui a tendance de prendre ce client pour des idiot.
Pay2Win NON. il en a mare d'ĂȘtre la vache a lait des multi.

Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018Excellent online action offers hours of Stormtooper-shooting fun, but the so-so campaign stumbles, while cynical loot crates leave a sour taste. [Jan 2017, p.83]

Jan 21, 2018Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.

Dec 29, 2017Although game has huge problems with p2w microtransactions, it is still a good and fun gameplay experience with stunning visuals.
