NICE! p2w game for 60$.What next ? GOOD JOB EA !Don't buy it! this company is not worthy of our money. The game itself is not bad, but everything spoils in-game transactions!

It's a Pay-To-Win mobile game, for consoles and PC.

Daily cooldown on rewards for game modes.
    **** formulaic campaign.
    Pay-To-Win multiplayer.

Do yourself a favor, do literally anything else with your money.

If you want to eventually get a decent Star Wars game, contact Disney and let them know what you think of EA and what they're doing to the Star Wars brand.

This AMA for Star Wars: Battlefront II is digging a deeper hole that EA/DICE will not be able to get out of. All the Dev's answers are, "we hear your feedback but you'll have to buy the game and wait/hope for changes that we may or may not implement."

Disney should never have given them exclusive license. They're use of loot crates is a blight on the industry and is conditioning children to gambling. They turned a fun franchise game into a pay 2 win format. The gaming industry is more or less dead by greed.

Fan have been requesting a Galactic Conquest mode which was in the ORIGINAL 2005 Battlefront games. We didn't get in in BFI and we expected them to rectify it with BFII. They completely overlooked the "DATA" they claim they check. As a MASSIVE Star Wars fan I was looking forward to EA redeeming itself with BFII. This has become an easy pass. I'll save my $60 for better games without this diseased cash grab.

The game is vacuum cleaner money. Why in the game there Donate that affect gameplay when the game itself already costs 60$? This is chutzpah on a global scale. I realy liked beta. New gameplay its great, but giving you 70€ for nothing? I dont want to play just this game to advance. I think its better if would be seasson pass for 50€ than paying for loot boxes. No buying!

All progression in this game is intrinsically intertwined with microtransactions and lootboxes - essentially legalized gambling marketed at kids. Currently the system requires over $2000 (or over 4000 hours of time) and you still would not unlock everything in this game. It's a $60 mobile game. Do not buy.

The game itself is not bad, the graphics look awesome and the gameplay is fun. The problem comes when you are forced to pay a tone of money to unlock characters that we obviously all want to play, but are locked after a paywall (with the excuse that you can still unlock them playing the game, but it will take you forever). Disney's biggest mistake was giving their most valuable franchise to a company like EA.

If they keep releasing games like this, Starwars is gonna lose its popularity amongst teenagers. No one is gonna buy a Starwars game with a half-ass campaign + a messed up multiplayer made by greedy executives.

the campaign is dreadfully short, beat it in one sitting; and has little replay value. the online is ok right up until some dude comes by with a hero class and kills an entire map, the heros are OP and you have to buy them, even after that you have to hope for the best in matches because only one hero per match so its almost never you; also this loot box is ****

Game systems seem to be designed to "nudge" players to spend as much real money as possible. Game stinks of "free-to-play" model with $60 price tag. I won't support a company that uses predatory microtransactions in a game played by 13 year-olds (and let's be real--kids younger than that too). Untie game progression from gambling and then we can talk.

This game has a lot of potential, but it's ruined by a pay to progress unlock system. It's a shame because I was actually really looking forward to this game. Characters and class progression past base game items are locked behind pay walls or unreasonably long in game grinds.

Parents who are considering buying this game for your kids: Don't. It has what is essentially an in game

Parents who are considering buying this game for your kids: Don't. It has what is essentially an in game gambling system modeled after slot machines and should be rated AO. The game forces you to pay for in game tokens with real money to then buy "loot boxes." These "loot boxes" then randomly drop in game weapons or abilities. The game is designed in such a way that it is impossible to progress without gambling on these boxes.

This is a Loot Box Simulator. Pure **** Boring game. EA is the worst company ever. Only for money. Pay to win. You pay more than 70€ and you dont have the complete game. Everything is locked and you have to play during hours to GET A **** CRATE!, And craft using coins only found in crates. Etc. Pure crap.

No reason you should spend money on a game in which you need to spend more money. Yes, I know, you don't "need" to, but for all practical purposes of enjoying every feature in this game, you do.

It's honestly impressive how EA can take amazing titles such as Mass Effect and Star Wars and absolutely butcher them. This game is a $60 PC/console game with the quality of a free mobile game. This game is garbage do not buy.

The only voice the consumer has in this scenario is reviews, and it is time our voices are heard. We want single-player campaigns. We want to play games, not "license entertainment experiences".

Spoiler: Loot crates aren't gambling because you don't win anything; any contents are subject to deletion or change at the whim of EA.

If this is the gaming world EA wants to continue down. I don't want any part of it.

Game is littered with ridiculously long if not impossible progression systems, but hey you can bypass that for the low time fee of $2100 to unlock all content.

Send a message. Don't buy the game. give it a bad rating.

Lootboxes are okay only on a pay-to-win free-to-play game. But it is an AAA title, and it cost 60/80 bucks. That's not okay. EA is killing this franchise.

Star Wars Battlefront II provides a greater ambition than the previous installment. It has powerful war scenes, a brand new single player mode, and shows a much more magnificent Star Wars Universe. But just like the Jedi should be ware of the dark side of the Force, this game also meets some similar situations, such as beleaguered microtransaction elements and character growth problems. The first 10 hours of this game is full of surprises; however, the further you play this game, the more disappointed you will get.
