    Ah, the game what can be sold as a DLC it's not RE3 its RE3 "reimagined"The good part is RE engine is something what makes my jaw dropped.The Nemesis is looking awesome Jill Valentine is gorgeous and a good story well that's all.The negative: the gore got nerfed, reused tileset, reused zombies from re2. 3-5 hour gameplay what can be 1-2 hour.     Долгожданный ремейк для меня, как для фаната оригинальной игры 1999 года. Игра все так же красива. Благодаря RE Engine, картинка очень реалистичная, хоть и немного урезана по сравнению c RE2 2019 года. Игровой процесс остался почти неизменным, но в сравнении с RE2 был сделан более сильный уклон в экшн, чем в хоррор. Главные персонажи претерпели изменения в лучшую    "Взрыв из прошлого..."
    Долгожданный ремейк для меня, как для фаната оригинальной игры 1999 года. Игра все так же красива. Благодаря RE Engine, картинка очень реалистичная, хоть и немного урезана по сравнению c RE2 2019 года. Игровой процесс остался почти неизменным, но в сравнении с RE2 был сделан более сильный уклон в экшн, чем в хоррор. Главные персонажи претерпели изменения в лучшую сторону. По сравнению с оригиналом, они получились более живыми и проработанными, особенно Карлос. Но я очень рад, что каркас главных героев оставили с оригинальной игры и не стали "изобретать велосипед". А вот про второстепенных персонажей уже нельзя сказать так однозначно. Некоторые из них претерпели изменения в лучшую сторону, а некоторых показали гораздо халтурнее, нежели в 99 году. В игре очень много положительных аспектов, но есть один весомый минус, о котором нельзя промолчать. Наполнение в игре отличное: стрелять все так же приятно, бегать по городу в поисках отмычек и патронов туда-сюда, так же как и в оригинале сделано - прекрасно. Стычки с Немезисом - напряженные и изматывающие. Но, есть одно "но," - ПОЧЕМУ ТАК МАЛО? Это чувство пришло ко мне после 4-того прохождения на сложности "инферно". Вроде все круто и эпично, но вот... мало. Открытое преследование "Немезиса", по локациям игры происходит только единожды. Тогда как в оригинале на PS1 этого было намного больше. В остальном, в ремейке он появляется только по скриптам, и то для "Босс Файта". И ты понимаешь, что вот круто сделали, но мало...Игра ускоренная, и это обусловлено сюжетом. Но если вы игру ускоряете, то наполните ее - еще большим контентом. Тоже самое хочется сказать и о загадках, и о всем содержимом внутри игры, а именно - мало. Я прошел игру и выбил платину с удовольствием, но чувство ненасытности, преследовало меня каждый раз на финальных титрах. Игру рекомендую. Это хороший проект, который я проходил с чувством удовольствия и ностальгии. Надеюсь, Capcom учтут критику для будущих проектов.    … Expand

    I expected more from this remake. They did a good job with Resident Evil 2 Remake, however it feels RE3 was a DLC from the previous one but at U$60?

Han desaprovechado mucho al Némesis, está hecho solo para unos 6 encuentros específicos, no aleatorios como el Tyrant. No favorece en bada la poca exploración que hay y los puzzles son demasiado fáciles.

    The "remake" of Resident Evil 2, was really similar to the original one, changing just a few things, and that's the reason why a lot of people loved that game, but this one, Resident Evil 3 is very different of the 1999 game, but that is not something bad, because RE2 and RE3 are not supposed to be "remakes" they are REIMAGINATIONS, so, they don't have to be just like the original game,The "remake" of Resident Evil 2, was really similar to the original one, changing just a few things, and that's the reason why a lot of people loved that game, but this one, Resident Evil 3 is very different of the 1999 game, but that is not something bad, because RE2 and RE3 are not supposed to be "remakes" they are REIMAGINATIONS, so, they don't have to be just like the original game, and RE3 feels like you are playing a new and different game and that's awesome, if you don't like it, it doesn't mean that is a bad game, for those who don't enjoy playing the new RE3, go and play the original one, but both are great, the changes that RE3 have are really awesome, and nemesis is better than ever, the boss fight against phase 2 and phase 3 are really enjoyable, and the game IS NOT SHORT, is even longer than the original, the 1999 game i beat it on 5 hours and 42 minutes in my FIRST TIME, and the 2020 game i beat it on 12 hours and 15 minutes on my FIRST TIME too, and both games i beat it with all the zones discovered at the 100% obtaining every single item. The new RE3 is really really awesome and enjoyable, after you beat the game are a lot of challenges left to do, like complete it in nightmare and inferno, two modes that are more difficult than hardcore… Expand

    While not as impressive or great as the RE2 Remake, the 3rd game still captures the feel of the original and the new take on Nemesis, locations and other things were welcomed. I really liked it.

    Resident evil 3: Nemesis was the first RE game I ever played growing up. I rented it from a local game store and that was when I found my passion for horror games/zombies/Resident Evil. I beat the original RE3 about 5 times before returning it to the game store. I later bought and played Resident evil 2 from the original PlayStation, an absolute masterpiece. Finally I made my wayResident evil 3: Nemesis was the first RE game I ever played growing up. I rented it from a local game store and that was when I found my passion for horror games/zombies/Resident Evil. I beat the original RE3 about 5 times before returning it to the game store. I later bought and played Resident evil 2 from the original PlayStation, an absolute masterpiece. Finally I made my way backwards to Resident Evil, the first of the series. Absolutely loved it. Now, jump forward to the GameCube era. Resident evil 1 remake, I was beyond excited to play it. I bought it and immediately took it home and played it into the wee hours of the morning. I was in love with this series and the remake only heightened my love and appreciation for it. Sure, it had its flops (in my opinion) survivor wasn't the greatest, some of the rail shooters are meh. However, I've enjoyed almost every numbered entry in the series (though it wasn't numbered, I also loved Outbreak).

    Fast forward again to the announcement that Resident Evil 2 was getting a full remake from the ground up. I was over the moon excited. The small trailer that released a long while after that showing us the mouse ( a little nod to something for fans of the series) running about in a small room and a zombie innocently gnawing on a man's neck. I couldn't believe how much love went into that small trailer and the remake of RE2 overall. They expanded on many small things, made small bit meaningful changes to the areas and gameplay. However, it was largely the same game, just made with a more modern audience in mind.

    Naturally I assumed and hoped we would hear about a Resident Evil 3 remake, much to my non surprise, we got the announcement in late 2019 and I was wildly excited. It was the first game I ever played in the Resident Evil series and is still to this day my favorite Resident Evil game.

    When I finally got my hands on the Resident Evil 3 remake, I was ecstatic, I couldn't believe the game that started if all for me was now sitting in my PlayStation 4 installing. I eagerly waited for the game to be ready to play. Finally, I saw the install complete popup and I have never smashed a button so fast to open the game. What followed that was roughly 6.5 hours of me trying to convince myself that the remake did what it did to appeal to a modern audience and the massive content cuts were probably for story reasons. I beat the remake of RE3, and I'm not exaggerating when I say I felt a bit hollow inside.

    I know, it sounds sad that a game can have such a negative affect on my feelings, but it's the game in the series that sparked a lifelong passion for the genre. I felt like I had seen nothing of Raccoon city, not like you'd seen it on the original. Nemesis felt rushed, he felt like more of a small annoyance than a looming threat at key moments. I didn't like his makeover, the bent nose look just made me laugh at him, his first transformation happens FAR too early in the game (in my opinion), they underutilized his more humanoid appearance, they removed any trace of the tendrils that would sprout from his body once you injured him enough and the parasite started to show itself more, they removed the clocktower, they removed so many Raccoon city streets areas, the Brad Vickers scene was so short I barely had time to give a **** because I figured I'd see him later before he eats a Nemesis tentacle, the Nest 2 replacing the dead facility for the final location just seemed so boring to me, I was sad they removed multiple choice moments that did serve to prolong the story and make me replay the game multiple times just to see how certain scenarios played out, drain Deimos in the remake are a horrible misfire and serve as nothing more than a one time annoyance. The list of grievances I have with the game is extensive and I am actually so sad with how poorly handled this remake was.

    YES these are just my thoughts so please don't get angry if you personally liked the remake. It had some good qualities, however, they just didn't make up for enough when it comes down to it. It pains me to give this game such a low rating, but I think Capcom should have given this game a lot more love and respect to the original content.    … Expand

    I liked this game I just wish it was longer n I also wish like in re.2 that Carlos n jill had separate stories like leon n Clair did. Have them separate n not mashed into 1 game i think would have been better. I still like the story better then the last of us 2 cuz no1 wants there main character killed the way joel was n then have to play as abby his killer . That to me was so dumb and aI liked this game I just wish it was longer n I also wish like in re.2 that Carlos n jill had separate stories like leon n Clair did. Have them separate n not mashed into 1 game i think would have been better. I still like the story better then the last of us 2 cuz no1 wants there main character killed the way joel was n then have to play as abby his killer .     As a RE3 fan I enjoyed the game. There is a lot of replay value here. My biggest gripes are the length is a bit short. The final form boss fight is either laughable on lower difficulty’s, or living hell on the hardest difficulty. It becomes a pattern repetition game that just doesn’t fit in this game. I would buy if you’re a fan of the series, and skip if you’re new to RE

    Best remake is RE1 remake from 2002 and both RE2 and RE3 remakes are bad and waste of time. There is no horror, no atmosphere, no anything.

    Resident Evil 2 Is atmospheric intense and horrifying at some point, Resident Evil 3 is the big action movie explosion ending, I like these games on different points I would say they are at combo for each other ,you really get the best experience if you play them both, For whites it does not reach the height of Resident Evil 2 I would say that Resident Evil 3 is more replayable

    This game is short. The new dodge system make this game weird and unrealistic. The design of final boss is disgusting in nightmare and infernal. I prefer instant kill by one hit rather looking at Jill being hit by final boss, struggling on floor, stand up and being hit again(almost every single time). Waste of time and looks stupid.

    It would have got a 10/10 if they kept the first part for exploration rather than a cinematic "cutscene".
    The original is still better with Nemesis following you around and being terrified at how you're going to defend against it.
    Needed a little more intense terror along with the action.
    A bit too short imo.

    The game I liked in terms of the way the gameplay and graphics were beautiful but the game was short from four hours to five hours It was very frustrating and the story was weak and the characters are weak and the dialogs are very bad I think it should have been better and the price of the game was very exaggerated and I advise people if they want to buy the game should Waiting for discounts

Su escenario principal como lo es Racoon City es maravilloso y agradable a la vista, también resalto que si Capcom plantea un juego de acción de esta saga, es así como debe ser, balanceado con su Survivor Horror que caracterizó laResident Evil 3 brilla por muchas cosas, empezando por Jill Valentine, quien se siente más humana que nunca, más allá de ser una policia experta y rompe cuellos. Su escenario principal como lo es Racoon City es maravilloso y agradable a la vista, también resalto que si Capcom plantea un juego de acción de esta saga, es así como debe ser, balanceado con su Survivor Horror que caracterizó la primera entrega de la saga. Sin embargo lo que es la trama sacrifica lo que es la experiencia jugable, pues decide poner mayor peso a la trama y personajes (que es algo bueno en gran parte) que a la inmersión del terror y pérdida que plantea en un verdadero Resident Evil. Su duración no justifica su precio y quizás si eres un fan puritano de esta franquicia, te diviertas más en una dificultad más alta y un nuevo game plus, del cual menos mal el juego no demora en llegar a eso por los problemas de duración que mencioné anteriormente. Jill Valentine vuelve con toda pero quien no lo hace, es Nemesis, quien se reduce a un mero obstáculo artificial y scriptado según la trama lo necesite. Y quiero resltar, NO SON MUCHOS. Pues a diferencia del Tyrant visto en Resident Evil 2 suponía más una amenaza aleatoria y estresante para el jugador del cual Nemesis no es capaz de seguir. Y a pesar de sus alucinantes boss fights es un hueco que deja un sabor agridulce al terminar el juego. No quiero incluir una review de Resistance pues creo y siento que es un juego aparte y que es totalmente mediocre. Esperemos que para futuros remakes o juegos principales este modo no venga incluido y que apelen al tan confiable mercenarios que siempre ha sido una delicia de disfrutar… Expand

After comes RE 3 remake, I'm so dissapointed, it's not similar like the old one, it's more action than horror. They didn't work on a remake, they made a reboot.     A much better handling of the story as compared to resident evil 2 remake, and phenomenal character designs beautiful iteration of Jill and Carlos, gameplay wise it plays pretty nice it's much more of an action horror experience which personally I didn't mind at all my only two problems were that I wanted to explore more in racoon city and the fact the game was a bit short, but overall IA much better handling of the story as compared to resident evil 2 remake, and phenomenal character designs beautiful iteration of Jill and Carlos, gameplay wise it plays pretty nice it's much more of an action horror experience which personally I didn't mind at all my only two problems were that I wanted to explore more in racoon city and the fact the game was a bit short, but overall I absolutely loved it.… Expand

    The game is super action packed and fast paced. The graphics are great and the gameplay is good. The game is a bit short when it comes to length but you can always replay.

    Its a worse version of resident evil 2 in almost every aspect
    The game is so short that most players will beat in around 6 hours
    The story is very basic
    They butchered the nemsis, you only face him as the OG form one time and then it transforms into a very basic form that has been used in so many games, it looks mire like ALIEN than nemsis
    This remake needs a remake itself.

Porque el juego tiene mucho potencial (buenos gráficos, buen sonido, quizás el mejor desarrollo de personajes dentro de un juego de RE) pero es tanto el contenido recortado que termina pareciendo un DLC de RE2. El juego dura aprox. entre 4 y 6 horas (explorando todo a fondo, que tampoco hay tanto) los encuentros con Nemesis perdieron esa aleatoriedad que tenía en la versiónEs una pena. Porque el juego tiene mucho potencial (buenos gráficos, buen sonido, quizás el mejor desarrollo de personajes dentro de un juego de RE) pero es tanto el contenido recortado que termina pareciendo un DLC de RE2.     Soy un gran fanatico de la Serie Resident Evil desde sus inicios en ps3 y me encanto este remake ! muchas personas lo desechan por ser corto, pero a pesar de que la historia no es excesivamente larga.. se disfruta bastante y tiene una gran rejugabilidad !

    Great game. Only problem is its too short and they cut a few maps/levels from original game. Nemesis is scary and encounters are fun but but chase sequences are boring and scripted which takes away much of the horror.

    After the remake of RE2, I was completely onboard with the remaking of the original games as the RE2 remake was masterpiece in the survival horror genre of video games. However, after my first playthrough with RE3 remake I cannot help but feel that Capcom rushed the game out just to follow on the success of its predecessor. The major issues with the game is the total playtime and lack ofAfter the remake of RE2, I was completely onboard with the remaking of the original games as the RE2 remake was masterpiece in the survival horror genre of video games. However, after my first playthrough with RE3 remake I cannot help but feel that Capcom rushed the game out just to follow on the success of its predecessor. The major issues with the game is the total playtime and lack of replayability. I played majority of the game on the hardest difficulty and only clocked in about 7 hours. With some light research, when compared to the original game the remake is missing key parts that would have added to the total playtime, such as the branching paths or key locations in the game. Furthermore, the gameplay deviates from the survival horror genre as it has a more “actiony” feel to the gameplay. With readily available ammo and healing items. Because of this, the overall game felt more like an action zombie game rather than a horror survival, making the game feel really easy and boring. I recommend playing the game on the hardest difficulty to make it more challenging and resources a lot more scare for the horror survival feel.

    Another issue I felt to address was the Nemesis. If we compare it to the “Mr X” from RE2 remake, its role in the game felt more like an annoyance and repetitive. Whereas, “Mr X” from the previous game felt more like a puzzle to navigate around the map and added an element of strategy to the RE2 remake. Mr X actually added tension to the game, but here Nemesis just added frustration.

    However, there are some good points to this game, such as the graphics and Jill as the main character. Graphics are incredible like the RE2 remake and the locations in the game keep you immersed into the setting of the game. I found Jill to be badass and well voice acted, so she was just a fun character to follow throughout the main story. With her, there are still some great moments in the game.

    Overall, I recommend waiting for further reduction of price for this game if you are interested in following Capcom’s remake line of the Resident Evil series. I understand why people felt this game is best described as DLC to the previous game. I know there is a multiplayer section to add to more gameplay of the game but quite frankly, I was more interested on the single player aspect of the game.    … Expand

    I dont agree with the sentiment that the game was too short. I found the initial play through to be quite satisfying, with trophy achievements offering replayability. A few more puzzle elements would have been nice but overall i thought i got my moneys worth

    Most anticipated game for me for this year. Because i was a re3 fan when i had ps1. Yes it is little bit short but still ok. Especially first hour is wonderful. Graphics and cinematics, action scenes. However i can feel like that developers hurried up to finish this project.

    Mas no fim é completamente decepcionante, linear, extremamente clichê e sem nenhum pingo de cuidado que re2 teve.
    Parece simplesmente que aproveitaram o sucesso deste para ganhar dinheiro facil, coisa que conseguiram, pelo menos comigo que pela primeira vez comprou um jogo na pré-venda. :(

    Muy buena reinvención, en lo personal no me molestó que hayan cambiado tan radicalmente la historia, lo único que me decepcionó es que el juego dure tan poco y no tenga contenido adicional como el Remake de Resident Evil 2, por ejemplo la omisión del minijuego Los Mercenarios, y la inclusión de Resistance que ni siquiera lo llegue a jugar porque no fue de mi interés.

    It's not horrible, but basically a very short DLC from the Resident Evil 2 remake. If it was $20 that would be about the right price for a good rating. Resident Evil 2 had several mini stories that were separate from the main story that you could play. This game is basically a longer one of those stories.

The lack of puzzle and exploration is the largest failure for the game, alongside the iconic villain being relegated to a few scripted encounters and boss fights.

    In conclusion, a decent game that suffers from a lack of content, almost surely due to the forced inclusion of time and effort to develop a multiplayer mode RE: Resistance. Had this not been a part of the game's development there is no doubt in my mind the glaring lack of content and variety would have been resolved.    … Expand

    Mucho contenido sin utilizar, por ejemplo crearon el escenario final con el helipuerto y no es exporable, se quito hasta un 60% del mapa del original. Se quitaron enemigos, no hay mercenarios, no hay DLC.

O único ponto negativo é o fato do terem removido várias localidades e inimigos do jogo clássico de 1999, a Capcom foi preguiçosa, deviam ter acrescentado mais coisas do jogo antigo nesse remake.

Jill was not some super heroin, she was a survivor living in a city. She escaped from her apartment, her place of safety, ran to the police station, the pillar of society, and it was collapsed. she fled further and saw the city hall crumbled. The city's history, built on this mega corp, in the clock tower. the outskirts and how it affects people living outside the city, and the final escape from the docks.

    The characters, while with bad dialogue, had the heart of horror in the classic. The Remake characters had no soul, were shallow, one dimensional, lacklustre, and had no emotional involvement, even the villain mikhail, who was all over the city in the original.

    the game was promised to be massive, instead it was turned into an almost rail shooter for speed runner views, gimmicky bossfights of which there are very few and far between, and a lack of the city of racoon that would flush out a comprehensive story which spoke of a history and characterization in both the horror setting and dystopian setting.

    graphics were great, action was great. literally everything else fell through. And it shows. you can see where they had originall designed more areas to explore. more puzzles to be made. and more locations with newer monsters that fit the settings. All in the train station terminal room. It had several locations that were outright bypassed, a clever little puzzle, and notes all over the board. as the game went on less and less detail, like those notes, were put into the environment, even in the hospital which seemed fully fleshed out.

    it's good for a playthrough, and good for 25$, but as a remake and a triple A title. this was on of the greatest disappointments of my modern gaming life. and TLOU2 just came out.    … Expand

It is also a very short experience and the £50 price is far too expensive for what is on offer. It is still fun to play, so don't think that I am saying this game is bad, it is just disappointing from what came before.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Aunque presenta puntos que me encantan (añadir un esquive como mecánica, coger objetos sin parar la acción, los nuevos tipos de zombies, los rediseños de otros enemigos...), siento que es un juego muy recortado.

    Recortado no tanto por la no inclusión de escenarios como el parque o la torre del reloj (puesto que lo que añaden me gusta más en su conjunto, como re-imaginación), sino que al juego le falta contenido para re-jugarlo (me he sacado el platino increíblemente rápido), las recompensas en la tienda están mal equilibradas, y la interacción de personajes secundarios (fuera del cuarteto Jill-Carlos-Tyrell y Nicholai), está tremendamente desaprovechado, podrían haberles dado un par de minutos de interacción sin problema.

    Parece un juego diseñado para speed-runners y precipitado. Podría haber salido mucho mejor (de hecho este Némesis me gusta mucho más que el clásico, aunque le hubiera puesto una transformación intermedia entre la 1 y la 2), pero no ha sido así.

    Al poner la tienda tan accesible (con los méritos de matar a "x" enemigos tan bien recompensados), puedes explotarlo en exceso. Pese a todo, como juego de entretenimiento, si te propones "nuz lockes" (o limitaciones propias, no recuerdo cómo se escribe), y no te fijas en el rango S, puede ser muy divertido. Tiene mucha acción concentrada, y la primera hora de juego marca mucho qué estilo vas a seguir.

    ¿Lo recomiendo? Sí. Me encanta esta franquicia. No vale 60 € o $, pero en una oferta puede ser apetitoso. Es importante que si lo comparamos con la re-imaginación de la segunda parte, está mucho menos cuidada, y que se juegue con expectativas bajas. Esperemos que estos errores que no incurren en un aumento del costo alto no se repitan en futuras entregas. Ojalá pudiera darle mejor nota, pero no se la merece.

Aunque no es el lugar adecuado para ello, menciono por encima el RE:Resistance como algo poco cautivador, pese a ser poco de jugar en equipo, incluso yo noto que es algo que no llamará la atención en especial. This game has been reduced into a banal linear shooter, more than half of the original game was brutally cut with no worthy replacements, everything is so rushed with hardly something to do other than shooting the same hordes of recycled zombies, so linear shootings + missing locations make this remake way too short and very far from RE3 formula or any other remake formula, normally when you make a remake you leave everything there from the original and expand it, this is the first remake ever where they took almost everything away instead of adding, so what's the point remaking a classic when the classic from 1999 on psx still offers much more than this remake? I give it a 6 only for graphic and controls, but the rest is a joke.… Expand

    Resident Evil 3 is an excellent game. The action is great, the graphics are impeccable, and many aspects have been improved over RE2, such as sound design. The sound of glass crunching under Jill's feet is satisfying, especially with a good pair of over-the-ear headphones. A 8 because the Story is really to short.

It's feels short even on the first playthrough and being itself a remake it does a **** job taking stuff from the original game, the used assets from the RE2 remake, how they removed iconic places from the original RE3 game and how Nemesis is scripted other than in this one area of theCompared to it's predecessor, the RE3 remake feels somewhat of a story DLC instead a game of it's own. It's feels short even on the first playthrough and being itself a remake it does a **** job taking stuff from the original game, the used assets from the RE2 remake, how they removed iconic places from the original RE3 game and how Nemesis is scripted other than in this one area of the game. The most important aspect of it lies in it's non existent replayability value, only some items changing position and the enemies toughening up on harder difficulties and that's it.     Graficamente es espectacular, jugablemente también. El problema es que la historia no es muy larga y su multijugador es entretenido a secas.

    Un juego que pudo haberse exprimido aun más con la exploración de Racoon City pero que parece realmente una extensión del Remake 2.
    La historia cumple al igual que darnos una buena química entre Jill Valentine y Carlos Oliveira (a diferencia de Leon Kennedy y Clare Redfield en su Remake) y darles mas jugo a la historia de ambos y poderse rellenar huecos que en su versión original no    Un juego que pudo haberse exprimido aun más con la exploración de Racoon City pero que parece realmente una extensión del Remake 2.

    It feels like a step back from RE2's remake and seems to be missing content from the original but I still felt that there was some enjoyment to be had while playing it. If they spent more time on it instead of developing Resistance then we probably would have had a much better game to play.

    This was so clearly meant to be a DLC for RE2 but was rushed and packaged with a multiplayer game nobody wanted. Too short, unnecessary cuts from the original, and simply not worth the price.

    Even though it is a very successful game, you will feel a little disappointed. Compared to the remake of the second game, this one often loses its pace and it is impossible to get rid of the impression that there could and should have been more to this game. [Issue#303]

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
