    I say the same as the other guy:

    I just wanted one thing: Ermac to be in the game.
    He's not in, so the game isn't delivering imo.
    Also,all the microtransactions **** and the always online and rng based krypt is just....ugh...MK9 and XL were alot better.

    Only 25 characters in a 2019 MK game, without old school classics like Reptile, Mileena, Ermac, Rain, Cyborgs, Smoke or even some characters from MK4, Deception or Armageddon, and a possible list with DLC ones like Spawn and Joker, Terminator and Ash who are irrelevant to the MK universe while Injustice 2 is older and had more characters???? The worst roster of entire MK series. It's a shame

    No need to beat a dead horse. Disgusted with the games play, that really isn't that fun in the first place, but then to add the gamer unfriendly grind wall just to greedily squeeze every cent the developer can makes this unplayable.

    No thanks. I hope the extra funds are worth the trust and support of their fan base.

    Point is this is not a bad game. It's actually really good. MK has the best universe in fighting games and this game holds up with that reputation with a fantastic and lengthy story mode. The classic arcade towers are back as well. The other towers can be really difficult at later levels but when you're at level 150+ on the tower what do you expect?

    If you like mortal kombat, buy this game. Even if you liked MK back in the day but skipped the last entry (i skipped 10) you'll still really enjoy this game.    … Expand

    Its a f*cking mobile game for 60 bucks!

    Graphics are totally outdated. MKX looks much better than this thing. Also the color scheme its too dark.
    Sound is terrible, Most soundtrack sounds like a superhero thing. MK its not that.
    Fatal Blow are beyond ridiculous. You could get your head stabbed three times and still keep fighting.
    I could keep going, but im already tired of this thing.

    Подытожим: Игра - хорошо Микротранзакции - плохо Отель - TriVaGo    Очень сочный файтинг, который смог привнести что-то новое в серию, при это не поломав старого.     In future it could easily go full Black Ops 4 style with micro-transactions. All grindy systems from mobile games are here, just waiting for reviewers to go quiet and be monetized by selling skip option

Not only that, the art direction fits the tone of the game perfectly.

    Gone are the days of sprite looking fighters in the original trilogy or the disproportionate and fake looking edgy fighters of the 3D era, the fighters in MK 11 look amazingly lifelike. All with perfect depiction of skin, hair and facial animations during Kombat while all being rendered at the lighting fast 60fps. During our time spent with the game, we never encountered any slowdown or drop in framerate. The games performance is a true testament to the technical minds behind the game and the incredible work they've done to bring it to life.

    Newcomers and Veteran Kombatants will love the tutorial mode in this game. It is by far the most robust and thorough fighting game tutorials we have ever seen. Every character is explained and the game does an excellent job of coaching you to become an even better fighter. You're able to learn from the basics (for beginner Kombatants) and even learn how to pull of incredible strings of combos (more advanced Kombatants) by simply playing through and learning during these tutorials. The game even contains the framedata and teaches you how to interpret it and even how to use it to increase your skill and take on others online or in local couch player versus.

    Gameplay wise, this is a thinking mans game. If you felt MK X was a masterpiece in fighting strategy, this game rewrites all the rules and forces you to put on your thinking cap and strategise like a Mortal Kombat game of chess in every battle.

    Including new features like Fatal Blows (powerful moves able to help you turn the table on your opponent, much like V Triggers in the Street Fighter franchise) can only be used just once in any given fight.

    The game features 25 characters (including the preorder bonus character) and one unlockable that you encounter during the story mode.

    This game is bursting at the seams with content. It is also quite lenient in dishing out Kombat Koins (that you can use in the krypt) to buy character skins and other unlockables. In our experience, most boxes that cost more than 12 000 koins contain at least 1 player skin. As a nod to fans commitment to MK 11, NetherRealm Studios, the developers of the game, have already stated that they will continue to support the game for a very long time. They have promised to add new skins and other unlockables for players to enjoy in the months and years ahead.

    In our three days with the game, we amassed over 1 Million Koins doing the Tower Of Time towers. With this said, some of the towers were very difficult. This has been brought to the developers attention and they have assured us and the fighting game community that a patch is being developed to address the difficulty. A server patch has already been implemented into the game and some of those difficult Towers seem a tad easier already.

    Overall, we love this game. It improves in every aspect over MK X. Again, the graphics are incredible, the gameplay is undoubtedly MK but feels fresh and new. A great roster of old and new characters, the biggest roster of fighting arenas in the Mortal Kombat franchise. This is certainly a fighting game worthy of being in the running for GOTY 2019.

    1. Если ты проф.файтер, то сразу отметишь убогие эксперименты с управлением, которое теперь перестало подчиняться здравому смыслу. Разработчики сделали что-то, чтобы уйти от привычной схемы в МК10, но улучшить её не удосужились. Теперь ты вынужден страдать от неудобнейшего управления, и что весело - изменить его по сути не можешь.
    Управляемость персонажем превратилась в попытку кирпича лавировать на ветру. Они настолько дубовые, насколько это вообще возможно. Если ты не какой-нибудь Ниндзякилла или СоникФокс, то начинаешь ломать пальцы дабы выполнить простейшие комбо, а еще проще нажимать таки всё подряд - всё равно в игре буферится не то, что нужно, а многие очевидные приемы попросту перестают комбиться. Особенно "порадовал" легкий удар рукой в воздухе, который в 90% случаев попросту не попадает по оппоненту, хотят летит прямо ему в голову.
    Кроме того добавлены какие-то извороты, увороты, парирования и вейкап-удары в просто-таки неприличных количествах. Теперь тебе кроме слежения за правильностью комбо-ударов приходится следить за буферизацией случайных вейкапов, которые тебе попросту нафиг не нужны. В итоге бой превращается в набор ситуаций "ты ударил - он упал, он ударил - ты упал." и игру в FIFAXX.
    2. Если ты просто игрок, то охренеешь от огромного набора всего и вся для кастомизации персонажей. Поначалу. Потом ты охренеешь от:
    - Необходимости всё это искать или покупать. А в начале тебе доступно всего ничего.
    - Бесполезности этой кастомизации.
    На донатах здесь основано всё, что только можно. Такое ощущение, что игру слили нам еще сырой, и половину доступных возможностей еще до твоей покупки разработчики будут создавать, так сказать, в процессе. Не отходя от кассы.    … Expand

    2: SJW's don't buy your games anyway, stop capitulating to their trolling demands for censorship and moral virtue signalling (the Jax end-story is complete eye-rolling crap).

Yet the core story and mechanic are sound. It's not Injustice level of bad, so if you are able to accept Injustice, you won't mind this game.

Bikini warrior is added only since PS2 era to boost sale. Stop acting like you are on high ground within the hole you dig yourself.

The only thing I liked about it was the story mode, but as soon as that is over... the whole game starts barking at me for more time and money that I am incapable of producing.     I believe that a game that inherently doesn’t have anything to do with politics shouldn’t force to, because as we’ve seen, it has brought the ratings down.

    On a separate note, I’d like to say, that I’m fine with reusing resources, but the fact that Kabal’s fatality is a direct ripoff of the Flash’s super in Injustice 2 felt extremely lazy on NetherRealms’ part.

    The game also felt oddly rushed, we got a new character reveal every day, which isn’t that great for hyping up the fan base, and the story was left with inconsistencies that felt really weird. I get no one plays these games for the story, and it is a massive improvement from previous entries, but it felt incomplete.

    TL;DR: The game forces politics where it shouldn’t, uses micro transactions that can cost up to 6000$ feel like a profoundly inept move from the team at NeatherRealms Studio. Still love Ed Boon but this felt odd.    … Expand

Being a long time fan, playing since 1997, starting with MK3 on my friend's Sega- I'm horrified what MK has become. While fight system has been simplified and made more accessible than even MK9, which is still a golden standart in MK franchise, and graphic presentation is undoubtly top-notch, maybe lacking flash-n-flare of Soul Calibur VI or stunning DoA6 overall visuals - everything is marred by disgusting grind and horrid microtransaction. Almost every exploitative tactic developed in the mobile market is present here. In the Krypt once opened chests (opened with real money, of course) can be closed - for money, and reopened again - again with real money! Holy smokes! This yet again proves that WB is the most appauling publisher in the business. They are constantly pushing the boundaries. Recently, only 2K rivals it, tying CEO's and other high management's bonuses to microtrasactions, meaning more and more and more of said microcrap is on the way. This already goes far and beyond the meaning of "unacceptable". How long will this continue? I'm not even metioning SJW pandering - this small but extra vocal "community" that even doesn't play this game, still demands censorships and whatnot. This disgusting female characters redesign, female-oriented fights, idiotic political references, heretic Wakanda-styled Jax storyline - that one, in particula,r pissed me off to no end... My God, why the hell gaming is being sucked out of the fun? MK11 is the first true example of a seriously financed, AAA title that openy does that - sucking the fun out of our gaming. While it is true that online is... well.. now buggy, but they'll fix that - it is somehow fun, storyline is okay, but overflowing with these subliminal messages - everything makes my gut sick of seeing it and, what makes me very sad, understanding the perspective where everything heads to, of everything worthless that will become of it. The mere presence of aforementioned **** stands as a putrid example of what lies ahead, of what gaming will become. Boon and co just started to build a large coffin where they themselves with many other greedy mfs, are going to put the gaming we all used to love so dearly. They stepped beyond concept of what people aren't paying attention to. Forcing political and social agenda - no matter to which wing it belongs to - is disgusting and has no place in videogames. I cannot recommend this game for a purchase. Because no one has that high level of consciousness to be able to put so much forced nonsense aside and be able, at the same time, to have fun with this... creation. It is impossible. Adding insult to injury, gaming "journalism" lost every connection to reality selling themselves for WB's bucks sticking their tongues into WB's butthole and pleasing their corporate egos by not publishing the apparent flaws and hiding all these pestilent scum forced into the game, effectively lying to gamers scoring this game with points like 90s , 80s or what not. That includes the "sexier" costumes for females (with the default female costumes, NRS went out of its way to make females less appealing esp combined with zombie looking skins). There are 4 different forms of ingame currency I guess to increase the grind like mobile games as well as making it more confusing to customize your characters. There are tons of costumes and other items that I like a lot but they all are locked away. It should not be like that after spending close to $100 for a Premium version of the game. I hope that NRS and Warner address the micro-transactions and grind and cost of items ASAP or I won't be so fast in buying MK12...    … Expand

It doesn't matter how good the gameplay is when this tactic of content-carrot-dangling blankets over the game and ruins the whole feel.

    ...and it still bears mentioning- inserting politics- especially this way that goes against what MK has always been about not only goes against about 50% of the country's leaning, but completely alienates the core formula of MK and the core fanbase. That garbage reeks of arrogance and I guarantee cost the developer sales. Thing is- they had to know this, and the did it anyway. This is self-righteousness and virtue signaling on a whole new level.

    MK has been ruined and I will not bother looking in its general direction again unless it ends up in the hands of someone else.

    The game is nice, but the rewards system is crazy. The graphics are fantastic. Even the characterization of the characters I do not like, I understand not to clash social justice warriors but this is an exaggeration, it is always a video game I do not like the characters so real. The males are semi-naked and some moves literally break their balls

All women are wearing body armor to not show breasts, butt or legs, with hair stuck in ponytails. All are horrible, they only have two types of garment Power Rangers armors like Frost or burkas like Jade. They even have a cutscene in the ACTUAL game talking about sexism.     This game has one of the worst monetization schemes I've ever seen in my life, toe to toe with Eletronic Arts. The towers are grindy as hell, to force you to buy the items they sell and the towers are the only way of unlocking skins, fatalities, brutalities rather than buying for five **** dollars each. And most skins are awful, with just colored versions of the standard. Exactly what you read, a Red Kitana costs five dollars. And this game has lootboxes disguised in the Krypt. In a game that costs $60? Really, Netherrealm?

    The gameplay and graphics are excellent and brutal. The animations are great. The new mechanics are interesting. The story mode is ok, nothing spectacular, but it's better than the embarassment we saw in MK X. Popular characters are missing like Mileena, Kenshi, Sindel, Reptile, Rain, etc. When Cassie Cage and Jackie are still in the games, why?

    It's a good game, easily a 7/10. But I'm giving 0 in protest of monetization schemes and the SJW content, that's not what I want for the franchise I love since childhood.    … Expand

    Story mode is very good for a fighting game. Fighting itself is good MK quality and the roster is good (no Mileena though). Graphics are top notch, and voice acting, lip sync etc. are superb.

    It's a great game. I really enjoy the gameplay; it is really fluid and visually stunning. The voices and music are also great. The story is fun and well done but nothing extraordinary. All in all I absolutely happy with this game.

    Microtransactions? Seriously ? I bought the game on pre-order for $ 60 and I do not want to see in it any microtransactions and in-game purchases for real money.
    Paid DLС is enough.
    MK has never been a game about microtransactions, do not kill the game. Let EA and Activision do microtransactions.

You dont have to pay extra for any of the characters (well there will be more in dlc but thats nothing new in fighting games), story mode is long and there are lots of other content.

    Other thing - SJW? In mortal kombat? ARE YOU FKIN kidding me - there is no such thing in MK11!!! Or maybe I imagined doing yesterday fatality on Kitana by Baraka in which he tore her face off and eat her brain, or Kano killing Sonya by digging tulip made from bottle into her neck and before she fell to the ground he grabs her hand and start to dance while blood fountain comes straight out of her neck - thats so feminist right? Show this to ANY female and tell her that this game suffers from being feministic crap. Oh You wanted to watch at **** Well then I wont advertise You p0rn hub's (or even better - get in touch by real life partner) but go there instead and after You "finish it" come back to MK to play fighting game.

    Feels like a free to play mobile game made with an intention of taking your wallet under gun point. It's really shameful, 5 dollars for an alternative costume? Get out of here. Not buying any other NetherRealm or any Warner Bros game till this game is fixed. Really disappointed.

    If is the eleventh installment really is the last Mortal Kombat for at least some time, then the developers part with it with dignity. Large number of fighters, great possibilities for editing them and great gameplay make the game one of the best fighter games of recent years. [Issue#295]
