    MK11 has solid game play mechanics and it has a new pace which offers something different to previous games in the series. New mechanics, like additional special meters and fatal blows add interesting options when brawling. A lot of hours. You have to grind for hours (days) to unlock the unlockables. This is when MK11 stops being fun and becomes a chore. It can force many gamers to their wallets. This problem can be a deal breaker for many. MK11, overall is a great game just ruined by the grinding problem, NetherRealm need to patch the game and rescue it. Or it is worth waiting, remember when we got MKX then we got MKXL with all the extras. Will there be a MK11XL of sorts with all the extras only time will tell.… Expand

As torres são muito difíceis e as recompensas não são compensadoras; a Krypta é realmente muito boa mas ainda continua com aquele sistema de LootBox chato. A NetherRealm ainda teve a cara de pau de colocar uma loja onde você pode comprar skins com praticamente dinheiroTecnicamente e mecanicamente, Mortal Kombat 11 é o melhor de toda a franquia.     The core game is actually really good. I enjoy the fighting and the story. Even the classic towers are great.

    When I wanted to pick a character to learn, I saw he had a lot of alternative costumes. Cool! How do I get them? I need to unlock them in the krypt. I found out online he had awesome brutalities. Then you have 3 sorts of currency that you can spend in the krypt, where you open chests with random rewards. Does anyone think griding for resources and opening these chests to get that 1 kostume or brutality you really want? It could take ages! Does anyone actually think that is fun?

    Anyway, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and detracts from an otherwise good fighting game.    … Expand

    All the negativity trolling campaign of some haters here is truly laughable.
    The only valid complaint is the unbalanced difficulty of the Towers of Time and that's pretty much it. Gonna be fixed soon too. Game looks superb and plays great, in addition to the best story move you'll ever see in a fighting games! Tons of solo contents and unlockables    I would honestly put 9 out of 10.

    Nobody actually sane will take seriously the haters on this site who are basing their notes on:
    "Females don't show boobs", "I can't unlock everything a week after the game launched" and "you gotta spend 6500$" which is fake since you can't actually buy everything on the premium store and the currency used on it can be earned ingame quickly.

    With MK11 already confirmed to have the best launch of the series, your review bombing campaign has already proved useless. Too bad trolls! :D

    Adding up to that the gear and customization system makes everything soulless. I would have very much preferred fixed costumes and skins with some more effort put into them instead of uninspired Blue Baraka.
    Also what's up with the female characters? I'm not a big fan of skimpy outfits as they were in MK9, but they could have at least made Jade the classic sexy character that she used to be back in the day. I mean, it used to be her gimmick, what's wrong about that? It feels like woke ideas messed up a game which did not have anything to do with politically correctness before. It's not insulting if you include one single barely dressed woman in the game, you know? Especially if being barely dressed and seducing was her character until two games ago.

    Regarding fatalities, it feels like they put effort just on the main ones, while secondary fatalities felt sub par. Brutalities would be nice, if you did not have to grind like a madman in order to get them.

    Regarding gameplay I think that's a matter of taste. I preferred more straightforward approach MK9 and X used to have.

    So sorry to see Mortal Kombat as it is now. I played every single chapter since UMK3, and I'm also a fan on the universe and lore, speaking of that...

    Closing with some pros:
    Nice story mode, I guess? The only really positive feature of the game that kept me entertained for a while. Nice cutscenes and approach, also nice fanservice. The rest can go.

    Better luck next time. It's my fault, after all, having bought a game as a long time fan without thinking twice just because of the franchise's name. Not happening next time.    … Expand

    This game is the perfect presentation of the corporate machine in videogames: horrible and long grindings, paywalls, random rewards for your effort (also known as lootboxes, but they don't "use that word" here), terrible PC port with no support whatsoever and patches that make no difference.

    This game must be killed. This abomination is everything wrong with the videogame market nowadays.

    I feel scammed. They heavily promoted preorders because you would get a character, and since I liked the gameplay I saw I did it. However, even when they said the features there would be in the game, they did not say they would be locked, and you would not be able to use them unless you grind an absurd amount of time or pay even more.

    I paid 100€ for this game, and I would like to return it. They lied. I do NOT have the brutalities I love about the game, I cannot do them unless I unlock them, and to unlock them I cannot purchase them with money (even more than 100€ lol) nor with currency. I have to play a casino opening chests that have random loot trying to get the items I like. And the problem with that is that there are so many items, I did the math and for me it does not matter if it takes 3000 hours or 3 million hours, since I only play ONE HOUR PER DAY MAXIMUM.
    I am a father, I have a job, I have a family, I simply cannot do that. For me, this game has no brutalities, period. It was a lie, it is impossible for me to get them. And I will not main any character, by the time I will be tired of this game and move on, I will have mained maybe 3 or 4 characters, maybe even 6 if the game is super awesome and I have a ton of fun. And in that time, I will be super lucky if I manage to unlock 1 brutality for those, at max.

    Then we have a mode called Towers of Time, to get those brutalities. I have seen there might have, at least 1 per character. The problem is that in order to get that brutality, you have to play SO MANY games with that character, that by the time I will have access to that brutality, I will never want to play with that character again in my life. They put unreal limitations like "do 75 fatalities" in order to proceed, just to keep playing. It is absurd. I would prefer that they told me directly "you have to come back in 2 months to keep playing", if that want to pace out those, idk.
    Also, this Towers of Time, initially they seem fun, but you quickly see they are stupid and unrespectful, that use the same tactics as mobile games with their difficulties. It is not a matter of you playing, it is a matter of getting consumables and using them to negate the effects of the tower, since matches otherwise are totally stupid.

    To sum up, this game insults our intelligence and tries to make money out of the most psicologically unmoral ways, like mobile games. It is aimed at triggering your ludopaty, your anxiosness of buying (this is why you only see a few options that have a timer. If you want that brutality/skin, you better buy it fast or it is gone forever).
    It is a good fightning game, but the disrespect I have received AFTER PAYING 100€ is absolutely ridicolous. Are you really not going to give me the brutalities after paying 100€? Take your stupid game and give me back my money.    … Expand

    Shao Kahn as DLC, SJW politics where it doesn't belong, Microtransactions, broken towers of time and an overly time consuming grind makes what could have been one of the best Mortal Kombat games a disappointing experience. I'd give this a much higher rating otherwise. Please, at least fix the tower and make it much less of a grind fest.

Story mode is polished as hell and the best that NetherRealm has put out yet! Online connection is pretty solid just as well. The only point that I'm taking out from this otherwise flawless fighting game is the unbalanced Towers of Time, which as of right now are hard af and can be a real grind. But even that has been addressed by Ed Boon himself, saying that his team will patch it asap. There are some microtransactions in the game that allow you to get cosmetics faster if you wish, but NO CONTENT is exclusively hidden behind paywalls aside from the usual DLC characters, this is another bs that has been spreading around like wildfire by trolls and people who didnt even bother to play the game before reviewing it, and they dare talk about nasty practices... come on people… Expand

In order to open the chests, you need to gather 3 different kinds of currencies (please note that neither of those currencies can be obtained with real money) from the Towers of Time. In order to complete the towers of time, you need consumables, which are found in the chests in crypt, which I already mentioned is completely RNG. There is no way around that. You either have to regularly check the in-game store to see if your desired skin is available, so you can spend real money for it, or go through the senseless grind explained above.     It's very Meh. There are highly requested characters that return such as Noob Saibot and Frost but there are plenty of wasted roster slots such as jacquie Briggs, a character that was never interesting in MKX and still isn't interesting dispite her wrist guns which were stolen from Deadshot and the superman punch stolen from Jax. Seeking of Jax, he was once a prowd soldier who fought for earth realm on many occasions but is now just a sad old alcoholic who is entirely useless in the story and only serves to further a political message in his arcade ending.

    The costumes:
    Gone are the days of the sexy females in MK. Sure you wouldn't wear a bikini to a bar fight but the option would have been nice. That's something people will pay for. Just look at DOA. I also don't think dressing Jade and Skarlet like brides for an arranged wedding was a good move either. Turbans aren't metal enough. All the males have pretty awesome costumes except for Kano. All he got were aweful rehashings of his classic costumes which don't fit the character at all.

    The story:
    If you like time travel then look no further. Rather than continue the story set forth by MKX, NetherRealm decided to give us time travel. Ew.

    Gameplay:
    Glairing political nonsense aside the game feels great to play. It's an absolute ball. I have only one complaint. The breakaway system is a terrible mechanic that has disgraced the MK franchise since Deadly Alliance. It may have been called breakers in the other games but it's still the same thing. It's a system that will punish you for making a good read on your opponent and reward them for making mistakes, A+ design (but not really).

    Progression:
    THERE ARE NO LOOT BOXES. Although you can buy time crystals for an in game store, they aren't really hard to come by either. The store also only has 5 items in it at a time. Not a lot of insentive to buy time crystals when there's nothing you want in the store. Money does not fall for the sky in this gsnrn. It's very grindy. Also there are 3 types of currency for use in the Krypt to get unlockables. Hearts souls and Koins. All of these are hard to come by and the most souls I've seen awarded at once was 200 which is rather insulting considering there's an item in the krypt that costs 10.000 souls. Ouch.

    TLDR:
    Fun to play
    Full of political nonsense that has no business in a game AT ALL.
    Boring female costumes.
    Very meh roster with no Smoke or Reptile.
    Customization is awesome and extensive.
    Story is a little bit of a waste and the end sucks.

    Gameplay is OK, but this whole microtransactions, grind, and announced chars who don't fit to MK. It was supposed to be a return to the past, but now we have grind smartphone game and it will lose the atmosphere like MK XL after adding trash like Joker, Terminator and Ash (sic!).

    Everyone complaining about the game is bashing the game for towers of time. The towers are difficult and add a new element to the game. Everything else about the game is amazing. The fight mechanics are the best they've ever been. The story is solid and the krypt is a lot of fun. By far the best of the trilogy

    Good at its core, the micro transactions are not as bad as people say let alone you cant get much from them i.e 5 skins and some easy fatalitys (THERE IS NO LOOTBOXES!) They have addresed the grind and economy and are working on a patch. Dont believe all you hear this game is not riddled with microtransactions.

    tambien estan OP las caidas rapidas en los kombos, no deberian estar (segun yo).

    Pasando a otra cosa, la Kripta esta buena pero esta llena de cosas inutiles como consumibles de torre inutiles que solo ayudan en las torres del tiempo (me refiero a que son NECESARIOS en las torres del tiempo, no digo que lo sean completamente pero con las modificaciones del rival es practicamente imposible no tener que utilizarlos) lo que nos lleva al proximo error.

    LA DIFICULTAD DE LAS TORRES DEL TIEMPO, aqui algunas pueden ser aceptables PERO NO LA MAYORIA, por ejemplo: en las torres del tiempo de loot de scorpion, aqui el primer combate esta facil, es bueno, pero no puedo pasar del segundo por las estupidas modificaciones que estan OP para el rival, aqui yo tengo envenenamiento y el rival puños de fuego, el envenamiento avanza muy muy rapido y no ayuda que el rival tenga ataques OP que con un simple kombo pequeño me quite 290.00 (mas o menos) de vida, NO PUEDO PASAR DE EL SEGUNDO COMBATE, otra modificacion con la que tambien se pasaron de poder es la resistencia de golpes del rival (me refiero a que los golpes causen menos daño y/o la resistencia a los lanzamientos, kombos que te lanzen por los aires,etc.)

    Me parece que esta mal que hayan metido las torres de principiante, guerrero y experto (no me refiero al concepto, me refiero a que hayan incluido 3 torres iguales) estaria bien quitaran la de pricipianto o experto para incluir un modo mas divertido (como test your might, test your luck o Tag team! o algo nuevo)

    me parece que lo de las micro transaciones que los usuarios dicen no es verdadero, por lo que no esta mal, lo que esta mal es que sea muy dificil conseguir equipo o skins, por ejemplo: si de por si es dificil conseguir una mascara (de 60) y unas espadas (de 60) y un cinturon (de 60) y un skin (de 60) y unos brutalitys (de varios, no se cuantos haya por cada personaje) y otra fatality (que al menos son 1 por conseguir pero son muy dificiles de encontrar con tantos cofres, y unas intros (de 4 y muy dificiles de conseguir) y unos outros ( de 4 y tambien dificiles de conseguir) ahora imaginense tener que repetir eso con 25 personajes + los DLC que vayan saliendo, no eran necesarios tantos skins siendo que la mayoria son solo cambios de color de algunos,yo creo que seria mejor haber hecho menos pero de mas calidad y mas diferentes unos de otros.

    La historia me parecio muy buena, no tanto como otros pero si era interesante, excepto por la muerte de Shao Kahn, yo creo que como Ed Boon dijo que a los escritores se les tiene que dar el gusto de vez en cuando (o algo asi dijo), de hecho esa muerte es casi igual de mala que la de Mileena.

    No me quejare de los finales pero si estan raros algunos, Netherrealm Studios, si ustedes hicieron los finales asi porque los politicamente correctos (esos que lloran por todo y que "buscan igualdad") los presionaron a ustedes para hacerlo asi o por miedo a ellos, pues porque los obedecen jajajaja, en primer lugar: pues simplemente son una minoria muy ruidosa
    y en segundo lugar: (y lo mas importante) esa gente ni compra ni comprara tus juegos a pesar de que los hagas politicamente correctos por el simple hecho de que no les interesa, a ellos solo les gusta criticar porque se sienten superiores haciendolo.

    With all the crap microtransactions aside, this game has the best story in the series so far. A satisfying conclusion for the current continuity. The gameplay is even better than before. The graphics are pretty awesome for a console game in 2019 (I play on a PS4 Pro). Everything is done right except for the MTX and all the grindfest.

The "guest"/ 2nd player player that joins local versus match is limited only to default presets and no unlocks UNLESS he creates his own Playstation Account and buys ANOTHER copy of Mortal Kombat and unlocks everything again. This is unthinkable and I cannot imagine ANY developer ever saying "thats a good idea" to something like that.

    Bad stuff is happening to the industry, Warner Bros are just insulting their clients. Where are the times of buying a good, honest and well made Mortal Kombat games and have fun playing them with your friends on one couch and variety of options and modes available?

Fighter girls with hijab, money all the way, seeing great characters total loosers in this one, online single player.     That said the game has it´s flaws, for starters the always online modes are very annoying, I personally don´t care cause I have a stable good connection, but mostly for switch players I see this as a real problem and an unnecesary feature. They say there is a predatory system with towers of time, the kryps and the kustomization and they are right, towers of time are a real annoyance, they are reaaaaaaally unbalanced and have ridiculous difficulty wich is not based on your skill or abilty but how you invest your konsumables, wich sucks, I personally hate fighting with modifyiers, mostly the ones they ussually use here that basically break the game, they can be overcomed without buffs but it is reaally difficult and a real exrecise in patience as you see time after time how an enemy with five times your health and unlimited. unblockable, freezing, homing missiles, that btw cause damage, beat you withou even moving while you use all of your skills to get your ass beaten in the most unfair and desperating way immaginable, so it is possible to beat the challenges but it is unlikely to be worthy as you may loose too much time and ruin your mood for the game. So my advice is to stay away of this towers unless you see exacty the exact skin youre been looking for, in that case buff yourselve to the hell and get it, that way the konsumables won´t run out and you just aim for what you want.
    I share the feeling that the game is aimed to spend real money and it deliverately tease you with it and that is my biggest complain, but this is only for the cosmetic of the game, I know people feel betrayed because all the kustomize conent is there but is locked, but come on... there are 60 skins per character, and a really vaaast amount of accesories and poses... why would you like that much? and in terms of the variations the game give you every singles abilty from the beggining so in terms of gameplay you have all from the start... I have the game for two days now and already have unlocked a good amount of skins and accesories, and have many characters with a look I really like, and trust me, you are not gonna unlock the 60 skins but if you are a really dedicated and constant player you will unlike like 10 skins per character and many many accesories and poses and with them you will build a character you like trust me, and if you are not a hardcore player why do you even care in the first place to have so many skins if you are not gonna use them?
    If you retire the towers of time and most of the kustomizables you mostly have the same you had with mk 9 or mkx at launch in terms of content, with a much more refined and elaborated gameplay, new really good in fight mechanics, fantastic story and awesome graphics. Yes they screw it really bad, but mosty with new content and new features that really are not part of the core game, the experience is still a really good one and as a veteran of the seires I´m loving it so far despite knowing it has it´s flaws.
    Netherrealm has to know we are not pleased with the towers of time difficulty, with the online only modes and those kind of details, but 2.6? really? That is like half the score Street fighter V got al launch and that game was unfinished at best... what the hell is wrong with you people?
    The awful thing here is the treatment the game recieved and how it treat us the players, and it is most probably because of WB, and it is awfui, irritating and worrying, but the game itself is wonderful so think about that before treating this game as thash, because it delivers, you can see the love of the designers in it, think if what you dislike is the game or the way WB is selling it to us.    … Expand

    So it pains me to say as things stand now this will be my finale purchase of a Mortal Kombat game.

    I hope NetherRealm Studios wakes up and stops pandering to people who never loved the series to begin with and reevaluates what it means to be a leader and not a follower in this video game business.    … Expand

    -You have to have internet access to play a good 75% of the game, you can't even unlock items without the internet.
    -Towers of Time are ridiculous
    -Items in the Krypt are entirely random. Meaning you may need to open 600 chests, beat the story mode, beat a bunch of Towers of Time before you find the one item you are looking for.
    -Microtransactions.

This will have nowhere near the success of MKX. They want to really win as many companies did in the past and drain this cow to the death and far beyond but companies who succeeded doing so were much, much smarter than this.     5) Devs wont mess with our beloved MK :- ohhh yes they did , ruined the reward and experience with rewardless plays , added 4 diffrent types of currency , time of towers was **** , consumables are pathetic , krypt RNG is crap , and Majority of game content is locked behind paywall .

    LONG STORY SHORT ;- They messed upp long time , i feel robbed and fooled . Non of the fans are happy . This game is great on the outset but if your looking to open up new skins or abilities you either have to really grind and work hard to get them almost impossible for the best players. I love fighting games and for me to get everything I would need to spend an impossible amount of time to just acquire them.     pros:

    -graphics are really amazing and everything is really detailed

    - fatalities are really gruesome and F up which is good

    -the transition from Cutscene to game play is really smooth

    - the character design is awesome most of the characters look really good

    -they brought back highly requested characters from previous games such as noob saibot and skarlet which is really good they are awesome characters

    -combat and combos are awesome and easy to master

    -the third person mini puzzle game you get in the crypt is awesome and i really liked it

    cons:

    - firstly the fact that after you download the game you have to be online to download even more things when you are in game is really dumb

    -the female censorship that they did in this game is horrible basically they downgraded all the female characters breasts and butts it sounds not important i know but for a mortal kombat game that is supposed to be R rated and to shock you its really bad

    -the lack of iconic character such a melliena ermac and kenshi is annoying and basically they show you in the crypt that ermac and kenshi are dead but they could bring all of them back like they did with baraka on story mode

    - microtransactions are back this game basically makes you either grind for gear like in injustice 2 or get it with microtransactions also you can buy a character from the start even if you can easily unlock them in the story mode also skip fights and easy fatalities are back which is really bad

    - i don't know why they did it but they gave the female characters way to much spot light i guess for all the SJW crybabies but again it felt like most male characters aren't even important anymore

    -game felt a little to short because there aren't enough characters in the roster in my opinion they went a little lazy with that

    - another thing that made me kinda mad is the recycling they did with some characters for example they made kabal the flash like i know kabal is fast but one of his fatalities is him literally going to another dimension with his speed sounds familiar ?

    all in all this game was short yet enjoyable at some point it is a shame its not like the previous games in roster and good story but i'm guessing netherrealm needs some time with the next game or a new project because they are starting to get lazy with the mortal kombat franchise in conclusion this game is fun but has some problems that need fixing my final score to this game is a 7.5 out of 10    … Expand

    I like this game, I’m a big fan of the series and of fighting games in general and this has great gameplay mechanics a am pretty good story mode. I’m not huge into collecting skins and moves so that being broken doesn’t much matter to me. I was a little irritated by some of the character redesigns especially the women’s outfits.     I bought MK11 on Switch and wish I could have refunded it, the fact most professional reviews don't mention it being online only to the point that you can't earn or use any currency without stable internet, is a huge issue. The Towers of Time is the main mode to actually have a chance at unlocking anything and even then, the challenges are so ridiculous and unfair, it is not fun, you need consumables or skip tokens to get through some challenges because of unblockable projectiles that constantly fire, tagged in opponents that hit in unison with the AI(can't block low and high at the same time), stun lock auras that just freeze you in place over and over, and AI with ridiculous health and damage boosts on top of it. There aren't many actual microtransactions yet, but this is why we all see them coming. No one who played that would think it was ok unless they want to frustrate you into buying skip tokens and consumables so your AI can farm the towers(no one wants to play them). And the Krypt, again, there is no logical explanation for this but future microtransactions. You usually get between 50-300 coins per match, most coin chests cost between 3000 to upwards of 25000 coins... You don't have to be a genius at math to see the issue, especially since most have art, or augments(which you can't use until you level gear you're never gonna unlock, and leveling also takes an eternity). Souls are used for chests, lanterns, unlocking map sections and the blindfold drains them just to add insult to injury. You get 10 souls per match, chests cost 50, lanterns cost 200-250, and they usually have nothing of worth(I got 1 consumable from a 250 soul lantern), and soul locks are by far the most common, and the blindfold drains them, but you need to use it to find hidden paths to more chests. But hearts are by far the worst, heart chests are the only ones that actually have good things in them, a flaming chest need to be doused by finding the lantern for it, then costs 100 hearts, the helmet chests cost 250 hearts, you get 1 heart if you win a match and perform a fatality... So not only do you have to play 250 matches to unlock 1 chest, you also need to win every one and do a fatality. Or instead of all this, just buy the gear you want with real money in the rotating premium shop, because it would take the elixir of immortality for you to live long enough to put the time in to unlock all the gear for your character in this game, and you can't even do it on the go with Switch, you get nothing if you're offline and lose all Tower of Time progress. So you decide, are they greedy liars waiting to put in microtransactions, or are they just massive idiots that somehow didn't see the issue with all of this?… Expand

    I enjoy the game, it gives me what I expect. A lot of fun with your friends anytime. You dont have to be pro to play this, anyone who comes for a visit can take a pad, push buttons and get fun. When alone I was playing story and enjoyed perfect tutorial, which explains great game mechanics. In towers, it is kind of difficult in later stages, but I believe it is only about balancingI enjoy the game, it gives me what I expect. A lot of fun with your friends anytime. You dont have to be pro to play this, anyone who comes for a visit can take a pad, push buttons and get fun. When alone I was playing story and enjoyed perfect tutorial, which explains great game mechanics. In towers, it is kind of difficult in later stages, but I believe it is only about balancing difficulty and rewards - nothing what we did not see before for many of games at launch.     There is an awesome game in here but the only Mortal Kombat you will have, will be against the urge to use your wallet so you don't have to grind for years....it is unfortunate. Wait for a heavy sale if you are super interested in it.

Day one of this game getting into hands and already there's some major stranger danger. What with the clearly political pandering that meant diddly squat because the very people they were catering to are griping to them about Kano's ending now. Way to go. Trying to cater to people who'll find any and every way to **** about something.

    But regardless I gotta basically run the meat and potatoes of this **** trainwreck. Mortal Kombat 11 is a game about a man named Ed Boon with bushy eyebrows trying to figure out what the **** people want out of a Mortal Kombat sequel anymore. So instead he throws his hands up and lets his shareholders run wild with bad ideas. Atleast that's what i'm assuming. Anyways, ol' Eddy decided to have a chat about including microtransactions into Mortal Kombat, since y'know....those two things clearly fit together, right? But surprisingly, the microtransactions aren't even the worst part. OH NO NO NO, HOOH BOY, YOU READY FOR THIS?! YOU ****IN' HYPED MATE, CAUSE I'M PRETTY ****IN' HYPED!

    This fighting game has the most disrespectful cosmetic system I've ever seen in my life. While getting rid of alternate costumes, and recognizable classic costumes for all the fighters, Netherrealm have decided to take the same 3 outfits and turn them different colors because it's okay to be creatively bankrupt in Mortal Kombat. That's why there's 11 of these **** things now. Regardless, the Krypt, the loved minigame cherished by MK fans has now become a neutered, loot box infested hellscape. I wonder if someone told WB Games that even though you don't have to pay real money for a loot box, it's still a **** loot box. An overpriced one as well. 10,000 **** koins for some concept art I'd wipe my ass with first? The RNG is **** spectacularly hideous if you don't already know. Currencies are divided into 3 non premium types. Koins, Souls, and Hearts. Koins being easily available "somewhat" and Souls and hearts being more rare. Hearts especially, it takes 250 **** hearts to open one of the Shao Kahn chests in the Krypt but you only get 1 heart every match.

    Oh but play our **** Towers of Time mode, with artificially difficult **** that will make you want to rip your pubic hair off. [Don't actually I've been there.] Towers of Time more like...Towers of Wasting my **** Time. They're horrendously unbalanced and they use consumable items that you get from the Krypt's "not lootboxes."

    Now to say the one thing nice about the game. The gameplay feels good I guess. There's some times that it feels rather clunky compared to MKX. Oh wow, you see that? My one compliment for the game turned into another gripe!

    Anyways, the Story mode was mediocre, the MK ones are always that way so there's nothing new there. Alot of **** characters people like die, but I don't give a **** because last time I checked we have magical time travel and resurrection now, so basically death is completely pointless in the MK franchise. The cutscenes are okay, the plot was okay, it was all okay.

    Now back onto the harping. The roster is a **** pathetic 25 at launch. Purposefully excluding favorites like Reptile and Mileena.

    Alright I'm having a **** headache and seeing the fabric of reality tear itself as I just ate a 4th B12 gummy vitamin before writing this **** review.

    4/10 boring game. Wait till WB Games can milk it next year with the complete edition making people who bought the game on launch look like complete **** idiots.    … Expand

    This Game is very dissapointed Story is very good Gameplay too and Fatalities look awesome ,but the game has a loot of grinding and loot boxes and lack of game modes, Towers of time is a Copy and Paste of MKX. I REALLY MISS THE OLD DAYS WHEN MK WAS MADE BY MIDWAY.

    This is a great game if you are new to fighting games and want to dip your toe in, but as you inevitably get better you might find yourself getting bored fast.

    I'm only rating the fighting, just bought the game and am gonna return it, I have no knowledge on any of the other issues. Fighting is probably the slowest I have experienced in awhile, you can telegraph and stun lock opponents    This is a great game if you are new to fighting games and want to dip your toe in, but as you inevitably get better you might find yourself getting bored fast.

Im sure the story mode is great but it says I can't play it for another 4 hours and I don't think I'll enjoy chugging through these fights just to see a story that will be readily available on youtube. It's a shame because I know they worked hard on it, but the gameplay itself isn't rewarding enough for me, sorry. Again if you are new to fighting games, great game to start with because things are slow, but they did take away the ability to chain different kombos so you might have to look at the fighting instructions if you want to land multiple hits.    … Expand

    Leftist politics, disguised racism, and a push for microtransactions detract from an otherwise good game. I think it's a bad idea for developers to push their politics (on either side) into any form of entertainment, but it's absolutely their right, just as it's my right to encourage people NOT to buy this game.

    If is the eleventh installment really is the last Mortal Kombat for at least some time, then the developers part with it with dignity. Large number of fighters, great possibilities for editing them and great gameplay make the game one of the best fighter games of recent years. [Issue#295]
