    Game looks great... people complaining that is hard clearly didn’t play the first one or just like there hand held while playing a game. But still very fun game brings back lots of fun old memories.

    Excellent remake. Very faithful to the 1998 PS1 game, with added features like the Gallowmere Encyclopedia (which lists every ally, ennemy, and boss encountered) and tutorial book content is now voiced.
    Such a joy playing this classic again 21 years after its original release!

    Voy a intentar no caer en el fanatismo absurdo que ronda por internet, en lo que a videojuegos se refiere.
    A nivel artístico es de 10, de los juegos más bonitos en ps4 (a mi modo de ver) al nivel de gravity rush.
    La banda sonora ahora si que es orquestada realmente no como en ps1, muy fiel a la original y épica cuando tiene que serlo... como en ps1. Y es aquí donde la estupidez humana    Voy a intentar no caer en el fanatismo absurdo que ronda por internet, en lo que a videojuegos se refiere.

    Y es aquí donde la estupidez humana se abre camino. El juego fue pensado originalmente para ser un calco del original. En ningún momento propusieron crear un dark souls o un uncharted o un breath of the wild de este juego. La idea original era calcar los diseños de ps1 y cuidarlo en ese aspecto.(En españa conserva parte de su doblaje original)

    Un juego de 2 años de desarrollo. Apelando a la nostalgia y una época pasada que JAMÁS volverá con juegos así, un juego cortito para jugar por la noche con un amigo, completarlo al 100% y sacar el platino.
    Todo por 25/30 euros de salida(bajará de precio)

    A wonderful game with its charm left intact, with gameplay accurate to the pre-Ocarina of Time original, warts and all.
    Still has the same voice acting, which adds to the charm.
    Only bad part is the camera, it's too close to Dan and doesn't point down far enough.     The gameplay is a little clunky, but the animations and charm makes that feel welcome.
    It still has some of the difficulty quirks which they easily could have removed, such as not healing between missions and deaths resulting in the entire mission restarting.
    Could be a little difficult to newcomers because of this.
    It makes me way more careful though, which I like.

    The level design is fun and creative, and those saying it isn't innovative need reminding that this game out before Ocarina of Time, which standardised some controls, such as lock on.

    The new feature, over the shoulder God of War cam, is completely useless and probably there to please higher ups and people who can't control 3D action platformer games.

    Highly recommended, out of all recent remakes I have the highest hopes that Medievil is continued    … Expand

    A classic remade. The game was still just as much fun as it was back then. While I found some of the new changes butchering the art direction of the original (you probably won't even notice these unless you remember the original very well), it could be either good or a bad thing.     Este es el juego que ha conseguido que hace algo más de un año no vendiera la basura que es PS4.

    Digan lo que digan, es un juegazo de los de verdad, gráficamente es brutal y no se porque se critica la jugabilidad tiene toda la esencia de MediEvil en PSX, incluso se pueden poner los controles clasicos. El manejo de la camara es MediEvil al 100%

    PD: la BSO me la pone durísima.

    Yo tuve la dicha de jugar el primero y hoy después de 12 años vuelvo a tener la oportunidad de disfrutarlo como todo un niño y a pesar del tiempo es un juego muy disfruta-ble, se que su mecánica de combate es muy sencilla, pero la magia y carisma que tiene el juego es única, lo cual lo hace muy divertido de jugar.

    Es una adaptación 100 x 100 fiel al original . Me encanto y totalmente recomendable. Especialmente si lo jugaste en ps1 y si no fue así, es una gran oportunidad

    Es increíble que este juego supere al original... Ya que mantiene la sensación oldschool, pero adaptándola a los tiempo que corren.
    Añade nuevas mecánicas y cambios en los enemigos que lo hacen simplemente perfecto. Si nunca jugaste al original ésta es la gran oportunidad que tienes de experimentarlo por primera vez.

    Nostalgia pura, al fin poder re jugar esta maravilla y con mejores gráficos, yo le habría mejorado un pelín el sistema de la cámara pero en fin se agradece que no lo hayan cambiado mucho por que el original ya de por si era una belleza.

    This is now my favorite game. Levels are amazing, characters are great, soundtrack is fantastic and almost everything is great. There are some issues but overall fantastic game.

    Love the music and voice acting. Glad they kept all the level designs and combat the same. New coat of paint at a superb price. It's a nice breath of fresh air from all the cancer coming out of the AAA market lately. The only thing I can see needing improvement is the camera work.

    I have waited over 20 years for this masterpiece to rise from the dead and I can't explain how happy I am that it's finally out! If you're looking at reviews and thinking hmm maybe not, I beg you to reconsider. This game has such amazing level design, story and of course the masterpiece that is the soundtrack

    Um jogo de PS1 com gráficos modernos. Ou seja, perfeito. Quando os jogos modernos falham é necessário resgatar os clássicos do passado. Por isso que a maioria dos jogos indie são bem mais divertidos que a maioria dos jogos modernos.

    Tiene excepciones como leves frapeos en ciertos momentos del juego, los libros a veces no se puede leer y son los mismos diálogos que el original (que esto personalmente me encanta, las voces de las gárgolas... Que recuerdos. Pero bueno, cada uno tiene su gusto ) El caso es que no es un juego para todos los públicos, los que hemos disfrutado del juego    Magnífico. Sencillamente magnífico.

    A strikingly good remaster of a PS1 classic and just in time for Halloween. Surprised by the contrast in critic/ user reviews, it stays faithful to the source material and even adds to it. I'm simply loving this remaster thus far and fingers crossed for a new Medievil game in the future.

    The game is perfect, it really did a very good job in the remake. I dont understand why the critics think differently, Spyro and Crash remakes received a high score despite being similar to their originals. But for some reason the MediEvil, did not. Very weird.

    You play as a resurrected knight Sir Daniel Fortesque as for who legend says that he is a brave hero, but that is just a legend...
    The truth is a little bit different, in reality he was a coward and now after mistakenly resurrected by evil socerer Zarok, he gets a    MediEvil is one of the best games I have played, the game is just too good that I felt a need to write my first review!

    The truth is a little bit different, in reality he was a coward and now after mistakenly resurrected by evil socerer Zarok, he gets a second chance for the revange.
    Just after very first minutes of the game you will be killing all kind of enemies trough a beautifull world of Gallowmere witch looks like it got straight out Tim Burton's imagination and all that followed by beautyfull orchestral soundtrack.
    This is one unforgettable expirience you will remember for the rest of your gaming life!

    It plays identically to the original game, and most of the dialogue sounds as if it was ripped straight from the PlayStation 1 classic.
    All of the weapons feel great to use, and the overall game feels so satisfying    This remake is an absolute masterpiece!!! they literally took MediEvil and made it absolutely beautiful with modernized graphics and a breathtaking art style and color pallet.
    It plays identically to the original game, and most of the dialogue sounds as if it was ripped straight from the PlayStation 1 classic.

    They took the original music and had it composed once again by the original composers who have done an incredible job, bringing even more life into the already amazing and unforgettable soundtrack.

    I was worried when I heard Other Ocean would be doing the remake, simply because MediEvil is my favorite game, and I wanted a studio I already trusted, but they have completely outdone themselves, and totally earned my respect as developers. They have seriously done some excellent work here and I cannot thank them enough.

    This game is must have and for $30.00 there's no reason not to add it to your library and give it a play, Sony needs to know that we care deeply for these old classic games.

    Thankyou so much for this remake, I used to be terrified of this on the ps1 at the age of 5 and my dad would have to switch it off when I was home. It's great to revisit galowmere all these years later, the Game is charming as ever. I look forward to a new medevil game in the future and I'm loving this! If you've never Played before it's a quirky title that's definitely worth a visit.

    No le pedía mucho, solo el medievil de antaño con gráficos modernos y lo han hecho, así que por mi parte está bien, entiendo las críticas pero eso ya no es culpa del nuevo juego sino de el antiguo, se hizo hace ya muchos años y se le notan bastante en muchos aspectos, sobre todo en doblaje y tal.

    Es perfecto. Es el ambiente del original con gráficos 4K. La jugabilidad sigue siendo igual de complicada, algo que lo hace especial. Gran remake.

    The best remake I played so far, it's exactly like the PS1 classic, but with better music and better graphics, with high attention to details, 1:1 gameplay as the original.
    No messed up physics as the Nsane Trilogy and no poor global redesign as Spyro's one, we need more remakes like this one.

    This is a really good game, dont read the press reviews, faithful remake running at 60fps.
    Talking about the game it has good humour, platforms, the camera is so much better than the original, the music is one of the best in videogames.
    The design is really good with so much variety in the levels and bosses, characters are top

    So apparently if a game doesn't have enough publicity and doesn't provide profit for gaming publishers and magazines, they will try to put it down. This game does not deserve a 10, but it is also far from deserving all these pathetic, subjective excuses for reviews by the press. It is a very fun game, totally worth if for this prize, and will make you enjoy this Halloween a bit more!

    A big disappontment. The game has only graphics, lost the fun, and the gameplay hasn't developed properly. The game was taken by the hype, like most Sony games.

    After 21 years, Sir Dan is back from the dead once again.
    The atmosphere, the music, the levels and everything else, are perfect. Other Ocean has made a perfect work remaking it and maintain his level of fidelity.

    It is a great gift to return to Gallowmere twenty years later and the care they have put into every detail makes this remake a dream come true. Thanks Other Ocean for giving me back a treasure from my childhood.

    It' funny to see the ponies trying to getting up the scores, because this game fails hugely. A big letdown from the original.

    A faithful remake of a cult classic, its everything you remember about the game but better. This is the perfect example of remaking a game without butchering the source material. And its every bit of challenging as it was back in the day, and its such a fun game Halloween game everyone should check out for the season.

    Absolutamente incrivel a ignorancia de alguns criticos profissionais que nem devia ser nascidos quando saiu o original que demonstram uma ignorancia absurda sobre a qualidade e carinho depositado neste remake. Absolutamente obrigatorio e nao liguem a ignorantes que nada percebem disto.

    Es una maravilla controlar a Sir Dan de nuevo. Este juego representa a la perfección cómo debe ser un remake, respetando el material original pero llevándolo a otro nivel (con cambios y sorpresas, y mejoras notables en la jugabilidad)
    Simplemente grandioso, puedes sentir la pasión con la que se ha hecho. El equipo de Other Ocean ha creado algo inmortal

    Se ha vuelto a levantar! Posiblemente uno de los mejores remakes de esta generacion. Visualmente es perfecto. Su banda sonora y efectos de sonido son de sobresaliente. Un remake muy fiel al original que capta la esencia de una manera acertadisima. Los nuevos añadidos son geniales e impulsan aun mas la rejugabilidad. Es un 10/10 para los fans y un 8/10 para los nuevos, uqe si sabenSe ha vuelto a levantar! Posiblemente uno de los mejores remakes de esta generacion. Visualmente es perfecto.     I am a big fan of the original PS1 Medieval (and the Sequel). So this felt like it was made for someone like me. Its great seeing crash spyry and sir dan back again.

    Its medieval looking and sounding better than the original. Camera and combat is still the same. I have beaten the original like 10 times by now over the years. So this is from a medieval fan.     More than 20 years after its released on PlayStation 1, Medievil is back from the dead on PS4. Unfortunately, it looks much more like a remastered version than a full fledged remake. It shines with colorful graphics and spooky atmosphere, but its gameplay remains too rigid, and its mechanics haven't aged well. A title reserved for fans of the license or lovers of Halloween and «The Nightmare Before Christmas».

    It's a short, but very intense adventure, with brief cinematics, compact maps without padding or copy/pasted elements. It brings a lot of variety into the world teeming with bland "sandboxes".
