    Madden 21 is EA’s masterpiece in scamming people out of $60+. I bought the game mainly because I was excited about the yard but when I tried to load in there was just a white floating dot that I could move around, that’s right the yard is less technically advanced then pong. Also they have no consistency in censorship, I was allowed to name my face of the franchise school **** Academy, but when I wanted to name my owner EA Sucks in franchise I wasn’t allowed to. Also speaking of face of the franchise, the faces you are allowed to pick look nothing like any person and the ones that look mildly human make my high schooler look like an 80 year old crackhead. Also in franchise while on ALL-MADDEN difficulty any hit stick was a GUARANTEED fumble. Finally animations make no sense yet again with once in a lifetime hit sticks almost every play on any difficulty, this game has secured EA’s status as not only the worst video game company but worst company in the world.… Expand

    A buggy mess that shamelessly asks for your money continuously. It has fewer features. The graphics are the same. The animations, items, environment, EVERYTHING is just RECYCLED. It is not acceptable.

    Gameplay is slightly different. But the game has a whole has zero depth. The yard is interesting but kinda trash. Franchise is franchise( that’s bad). MUT is a mode I refuse to touch.

    These “new” and “innovative” additions are nothing but watered down attempts to appease the community. I won’t be blinded by nostalgia, 2K 5 was not perfect but what game comes without flaws? The only difference is that these last few years of Madden games are riddled with flaws.     1 week after the release of the game and EA is already talking about how Madden 22 will be the game where they address this issue. The creators have been focusing too much on things like face of the franchise, madden ultimate team, and the yard instead of what most users care about... simulation franchise.

The gameplay is buggy, franchise mode was untouched, and they are charging $20 dollars for a set of clothes in The Yard mode after charging $60 for the game. This is highway robbery and absolutely sickening.     Two may be better than one, but anything is better than this game. Less mechanics than before, same cut scenes as as the last five, and as many glitches as fallout 76. This game isn`t a good football game in the slightest.

This game isn’t worth a cent... if you really want a true madden 21 experience, you should buy Madden 19. It’s the same game. There is footage of EA’s laziness displayed on the uniforms of the players in game. Some of the uniforms say 2019 and some ofI made an account just to give this poor excuse of a game a 0. This game is full of glitches that a baboon could patch and is not worth $60. This game isn’t worth a cent... if you really want a true madden 21 experience, you should buy Madden 19. They release the SAME game every year with the SAME lackluster and problem ridden gameplay that comes with the SAME bugs and glitches for $60.     Thank goodness I bought this on disc, getting money back. Thought I'd dip back into Madden after 3 year gap as I never buy sports games year on year. 3 year gap is least I'll do. So to my amazement, loads taken out, nothing really added. It is glitchy as hell and they should pay us to play it. Terrible!!! Avoid!

    One would think that they accidentally purchased Madden 20. This game is beyond awful. I wish I still had a PS2 in order to play Madden games that were actually worth spending money on. How in the world have they not been able to port this series to the Nintendo Switch? EA has become a publisher to avoid.

    It’s difficult to begin a criticism of any game when it blatantly and unabashedly revels in its ability to reproduce every aspect of the previous years game, with no change, and still con millions of people in to buying it and investing in its micro-transaction scheme.

    To anyone that hasn’t played this game I would genuinely recommend picking up a copy of madden 15, playing it for a couple hours, and just imagining what this exact same experience would look like with slightly more polished graphics.

    The lack of innovation is genuinely criminal. It beggars belief that despite a whole year of massive criticism for years of no innovation, EA Sports still has the guile to just laugh in the consumers face and do exactly what they’ve done for the last 6 iterations of this game.

    So much so that even the gameplay, which was already frustratingly lacking and subpar, is suffering to the point where this game is now genuinely not enjoyable.

    I don’t think I’ll be buying this series again until there’s genuine meaningful change. What a shame, these games used to be fantastic.    … Expand

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
