    EA’s most disappointing Madden yet, I know it’s said every year but this year it really is Madden 20 in every essence. The menu is still painful to navigate around and slow to load anything, the graphics are identical to M20, Franchise is still un-touched. The gameplay has actually taken a step backwards, it’s no longer a football simulation it’s just garbage. I returned it after 2 daysEA’s most disappointing Madden yet, I know it’s said every year but this year it really is Madden 20 in every essence.     The game was fun but there is constant crashing during challenges so I cant even complete them. EA needs to fix their game.

Foge da minha capacidade cognitiva conseguir compreender como a EA tem a cara de pau de lançar um jogo por 300, 300!!! 300 REAIS, pra ser basicamente uma mudança de layout, que conseguiu piorar, pq convenhamos, quem em pleno 2020 usa Arial Black como fonte? Além de atualização de elenco e times, o que daria pra fazer de graça no Madden 20.

    De resto, o MUT continua sendo o MUT, e continuam com os inúteis e maçantes Face of the Franchise e o Superstar KO, além de agora adicionarem o The Yard, um modo de jogo que absolutamente ninguém queria ou pediu, ou seja, a EA completou a tríade da inutilidade e de modos de jogo que todo mundo vai enjoar em menos de três meses. Ah, e como eu disse: o modo franchise que toda a comunidade cobrou mudanças, continua igual. Parabéns, EA!!

    É evidente que não vale a pena comprar esse jogo e eu espero do fundo do meu coração, mesmo já sabendo que não será, que esse tenha sido o último Madden que a EA fez o consumidor de bobo. Acorde para a vida, Eletronic Arts, ou pelo menos reconheça que vocês são preguiçosos e incompetentes, então revogue essa licença e deixe uma outra desenvolvedora fazer um jogo de futebol americano.     I actually liked madden 20... but this game is a million steps in the wrong direction. Same old product EA puts out every year but this time it just feels even more lazy. I feel like I wasted my money. Please NFL drop EA’s exclusivity rights.

    Due to the shady monopolization of the NFL license. EA has been making uninspired and lackluster games for years. This installment is just an continuation of the same broken gameplay physics, and glitchy animations that encapsulates the EA Sports madden franchise. Ea is good at making arcade games, but they choose to monopolize the sim industry instead. And rather then use the millions they make off MUT and try to make a better product, which can benefit in all areas..... they would rather choose to fill their pockets, and keep emptying ours with the same game every year.     I've been playing Madden since 2004, and unfortunately this game over the past 4 or 5 years has just become so bad. It is like each year you pay $60 for basically an updated roster. Im giving it a 1 score because the gameplay is a bit more realistic to me. I truly hope they add updates to franchise and the game as a whole during the 21 season as they stated. But my hopes aren't high.

Look at NBA 2k if you need tips, they aren’t great but way better than you.     The fact that this game is trending in social media about how bad it really says a lot about EA and what they have done to Madden football. Nothing has changed since 17 and The Yard might be great, but cannot save a game like madden 21. If you buy this game, please understand you are buying updated rosters and The Yard, that’s it.

    The only difference is in name from last year's game. Madden has stopped listening to the fans and hopefully will lose the NFL licensing sponsorship due to poor quality and no improvements over previous years.

Other than that... this game is complete **** The offensive line still looks clueless, WR/DB matchups are far from realistic, DB wins in 50/50 ball situations 90 % of the time, players warping through each other is STILL a problem, and just general football knowledge is thrown out the window. Players play zone like they are actually in a bubble, you pass receivers off to the other zones, not **** sit there and watch the guy catch the ball. WR’s suck at route running unless you have one of those abilities. Bugs- Since the 25th my game has crashed 7 times... 7 more times than all of last year. The amount of bugs in this game is un**** real, there are too many to describe. Ultimate team- Mut is still the mode full of endless micro transactions, yet I still play it because it’s the only mode worth playing, because it’s the only mode EA cares about. Franchise- literally the same as last year. My mom walked in on me playing madden 21 and asked, no **** “why are you still playing madden 20. I replied “no clue.” Franchise is the DEFINITION of copy and paste. They use the wrong SUPER BOWL LOGO, I mean it’s just the most viewed event in live TV history, which the record is broken even year by the next super bowl, anyway, I’ve never heard of a company taking stuff OUT of something and make MORE money. At this point madden franchise has become a roster update. It has been dubbed a roster update for years but it was truly a roster update. No need to go into franchise bugs and stuff like trade logic because it’s the same as last year.

Holy **** Tommy Mathews is an absolute DICK HEAD and you are forced to be friend with him to create the “Heartbreak Kids”. Just shoot me. That is the cringyest nickname for 2 men I’ve ever seen. If I caught someone calling me a “Heartbreak kid” I would jump off the ledge of the Grand Canyon. They force you into playing games so you HAVE to win so you can give a damn trophy to your dick of a friend In the hospital. NBA 2k 13 had a career mode than this.     Only thing new about the game is the yard.. It’s Madden 19+ the yard.. Players disappear, freeze, players also move drunk after a interception.. I could go on but I know others said more #NFLDropEA

    The gameplay is smooth but the AI is brain dead and also scripting and awful gameplay without reading the NFL playbooks or NFL rulebook.

    EA Sports cares about the graphics but the 4 or 5 faces is the same and the larger nose is uglier than 4 or 5 faces.

    Superstar KO Mode: 5/10
    A little bit adding new abilities and the rest is the same. But the only problem that it removes because there is not KO abilities for kickers and punters.

    This game isn't really a Game more like an update with additional DLC. All they did was add the yard. It's pathetic how big EA is yet they release a bug ridden game year after year.

    Wasted time by playing the early access version. Glitches in early access are a given but, the fact there are no substance added besides the yard which isn’t horrible but it’s built on micro transactions and nothing else. I’ll play madden 2015 it has more features.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a bad game which, given how deep we are into things simply should not be. This isn't a 'simulation football game' in any way. It's just a glorified cash grab by EA to take advantage of those who really don't know any better and love to kill money on card packs for Madden Ultimate Team. The game is mostly unchanged from last year's, apart from The Yard which I care to the sum of zero about. They hit you with that the second you boot up. I've been a Franchise Guy since way back when. It's what got me hooked to the game in the 00s and it's a big reason why I like so many others, are fed up with the hollowed out thing in front of us. This simply isn't worth even half the price tag they're asking for. It's just not. You can only resign players after Week 3 of the regular season which isn't even close to how it's done in real life. This was done better in the PS2 days, most notably Maddens 04-10. There's no discernible team logic by the CPU when it comes to drafting or free agency. The game has the worst stat tracking of any game out there, even worse than its PS2 counterparts and given that we're literally a year away from the first ones dropping on PS5, that's a very bad thing.

    As a gamer, Madden has been a part of my life for just about 30 years. I remember playing the very first Madden on Sega Genesis and playing it every year since. After Madden NFL 12, it was clear that EA was done with Franchise because they were all in with MUT and getting every dollar possible from that. In doing this, EA has cast aside a larger number of people who made that cash grab possible by buying the pre MUT Maddens and investing time into Franchise Mode.

    Relocation has gone untouched and while the UI has the best coat of paint ever, that's IT. It's insulting to me that it took EA this long to address what we've known for years now. That Franchise Mode is on blocks and needs major work. Yet even after giving a list of things they wanna do this year and moving forward, none of that was present at the jump. Not ONE. Superstar KO literally came out of the blue last year after Madden 20 dropped. This company has created 2 new modes before even pretending that they're interested in fixing ONE.

    Gameplay is still atrocious for a wannabe simulation football game. The game froze at odd points which led to me missing at least two kicks. This is unacceptable for a digital download. This is nothing more than a Copy & Paste of 20, with a decent number of updates & patches. Especially when you consider how many of these all but broke Franchise Mode (more like Season Mode since it's nowhere near Franchise Mode from its golden age from 04-12).

    21 to me, kickstarted what I've come to call Electronic Skim Milk age with the advent of Superstar X-Factor. See, EA somehow lost the ability of conveying the really great players in the game from the really good ones so they put this in. X-Factors bring Madden kicking & screaming into the Arcade realm, as badly as EA tries to keep it grounded in simulation yet fails miserably doing so. It's very noticeable especially when it comes to those edge rushers who are all but unguardable once their X-Factor's triggered. The cover guy can't fumble once his is triggered, which again, just defies all logic & is yet another sign of how much EA has truly lost it. Commentary isn't much to write home about & has gone off the cliff since they let Nantz & Simms walk. Which as irony would have it, is right about when presentation dropped off completely. With each passing year, Madden NFL 25 looks better because of how much worse these subsequent releases are.

    Madden NFL 21 is a terrible game. Not really sure it can be put any better than that really. It's the soul snatching low point for anyone who like me, loved Franchise Mode & finds this game virtually unplayable because of the piss poor gameplay on top of the most barebones Season Mode out there. I’m not sure exactly when it started, but the game has, in my opinion, finally deteriorated to the point where it’s unplayable. It’s essentially a roster update.     The biggest update in the game is that the screen is blue. That is not an exaggeration. If I sign a player in Franchise mode, I can't even see where he played at before me. The amount of loss details in this game is astonishing and frankly the team that creates/works on this game in any fashion should be utterly embarrassed. #FixFranchiseMode

Quite literally someone who wishes to buy this game could buy one from any of the past 3-4 years (being generous) and not miss out on any new features besides the arcade-y Superstar X factors. You could probably count on two hands the amount of "overhauls" they have done in the past 5 years with no expansion on creating teams, relocations, draft classes, scouting, coaching and coaching carousel, the list can go on and on.

    I try to be a positive person and refrain from complaining but I took the time this busy Monday to say this is honestly garbage and can't say I'd recommend this to anyone who is on the fence about updating from 20 to 21 or even any of the last 3 years of Madden installments to 21. A pure and utter waste of money by cash grab EA that once again shows they only care about making a profit rather than the opinions of football players and fans alike.

I can't even tell you how many PATs I've missed due to the thing glitching when the kick meter is moving. Computer is also constantly running into the kicker. Did an offline fantasy draft with my buddies last night and it createdSame as always. A few minor updates. I'm sick and tired of paying $60 for an update to rosters.     By far the WORST Madden I’ve ever played, so my question is why does EA Sports still have the exclusive license? The NFL felt 2K Sports undervalued the NFL by selling NFL 2K5 for $19.99 back in 2004, but EA is undervaluing the NFL and it’s consumers by putting out an atrocious product. #NFLdropEA

    It’s the same game copied and pasted but with a change of background color, font and the addition of the Yard mode. #EADropMADDEN is trending on twitter for a reason. They have grown completely unaware of the community’s displeasure with the lack of changes to franchise mode. They’re clearly only doing it for the money at this point.

    It is shocking how bad this game is and how you have failed the players and fans of this game every year this game is awful from the blandness of franchise mode to the broken gameplay to scripted field goals and getting sucked into animations there is nothing else to say I plan on not buying this product and buying 2k next year thanks for ruing something from my childhood

    Madden 21 is just painful to experience. AI continously makes poor decisions. After injuries the cut scenes show the injured player celebrating. Franchise is a disaster, and has zero trade logic. Only bright spot is when you shut the game off. Overall poor quality product.

    I played this game over my friends house because I refused to buy it this year and I am so glad I didn't. We played this game for about an hour and had to stop. Why is the NCAA 14 game play better than this slop. Bring that title back or can 2K jump in and make a game or how about using the FIFA game developers to run this game. So frustrated

    Madden NFL 21 is another blatant recycling of last year’s edition of the „simulation“ of the American football. Sadly, most of the modes remained the same. Gameplay received a few minor tweaks, and in the end it still persists as a cash grab not worth anybody’s time.

    For NFL diehards, there remains hundreds of gaming hours at your disposal in Madden 21. These same diehards – much like players of EA’s NHL and Sony’s The Show – will be left with the impression they’ve played this game before, however.
