    Same game but with Micky Hazard of Spurs fame son on the cover.A beater of ball boys is not the image a game deserves,however that image is a trillion times better than career mode that is more buggy than the c64 game buggy boy.

    The game that was released is broken. There’s no way that the devs wouldn’t of recognised the sheer amount of bugs prior to release- and yet they shipped it anyway. Fix career mode.

    Worst title for Career Mode for a long while and THAT is saying something. If you buy Fifa to play Career Mode, I advise you to wait until Football Manager 2020 launch and see which game you prefer.

    After promising a reworked and improved career mode, EA has delivered a broken game mode instead. It seems they have deceived customers and I would not recommend anyone buys the game if you are interested in career mode.

    By far the worst FIFA I've ever played. Career mode is a buggy, unplayable mess at absolute best. It has all the same issues that have been in the game for the last 3 years, plus a whole list of new ones such as Manchester City consistently getting relegated, Barcelona just deciding they don't need to actually play Messi, and all sorts of other mess with the player editor especially. WhyBy far the worst FIFA I've ever played. Career mode is a buggy, unplayable mess at absolute best. The worst FIFA I've played in a while..used to be a fan of pes until pes 17 then moved to FIFA from 17-19 but I'll definitely move back to pes...the gameplay is too broken and scripted...I could see positive improvements in one time shots when the players don't even position themselves or generate enough power to score but they still score...which has reduced in FIFA 20 but the overall gameplay till has a lot of unrealism in it..even with their focus on defending.. you'll still tackle and the ball falls to your opponent or your goalkeeper makes a save only for the ball to bounce back to your opponent… Expand

    Shambles. Pay a fortune and career mode is just last seasons squads, and last seasons European Competitions. Bugs in career mode remain that have been issues for at least three years now, and are actually getting worse. Completely unplayable. Dont bother wasting your time unless you enjoy spending a fortune on lootboxes, as the game is pointless otherwise.

    Don't believe the paid "professional" reviews, this is a shocker of a game. It's not even fun, volta is boring. Broken in so many ways that I cant even list them in 150 characters!

    Don't buy it, PES 20 is way better and you can download all the kits and licenses for it online for ps4.

If you are going to play the game on your couch with a friend, it might be fun, but to get started seriously online is 3 times nothing. An example: I won the first 10 games with high scores and then the next 10 almost all lost while playing better. Especially if you have English teams as an opponent you have no chance, especially defensive. It is not worth your money and especially your own peace and nerves. It is so transparent and scripted that I think it is a shame that football is translated into a game by these makers. Again this comes from someone who has won Division 1 titles in recent years and is used to playing almost daily. I think I'll have to change my habit because this is really a change.… Expand

    The list of bugs with this game is endless and I just can't see them fixing it all, this game is so broken.

    They promised before release that issues(mainly career mode) would be fixed this year(which is still on their website), yet here we are with it being worse than ever, surely that's got to be false advertising, some people say "I don't know why you're surprised" but here's the thing, the've not made such promises before a release like that. For FIFA 19 we all knew the career mode would remain almost untouched, that wasn't the case in the build up for this release.

    A transfer update was added on release day but was removed a short time later with no explanation, they claim to be operating with some transparency but you have to go out of your way to find an account of an EA employee on Twitter for any kind of vague update, their website and official social media accounts say nothing other than Ultimate Team related bs.

    Another sign of how they operate, they want people to be pushed towards ultimate team, this seemed to be why you couldn't play house rules against friends online with FIFA 19, now we have the same issue with Volta, no option to play online with friends.

    The new penalty system makes no sense, it shouldn't be easier to save a penalty than it is to score and the new system is completely useless when it comes to playing local matches, there's no way you can accurately take them without the stupid target because of how sensitive it is but then your opponent will see where your shooting. They've had 25 years to come up with a good system but we are presented with this mess.

    The AI is shambolic, that's where there is no surprise, Legendary difficulty will randomly seem to disable their defenders and let you stroll through, switch it up to Ultimate and you can see a goal coming a mile off because they will start playing ping pong football with incredibly accurate one touch passing all the way from the back while your players out of you control appear to close their eyes and run away from the ball.

    They're just terrible at making games, it's a crime that the likes of Red Dead and The Witcher cost the same amount as this trash, a game in development for many years vs one that seems to have been thrown together very quickly without testing.    … Expand

    Everything in this game is made very bad I want my 70 euros back.
    Goalkeepers can’t take the ball in their hands, they fall down every time you do the false shoot so every time you are in front of the keeper it’s 100% goal.
    Volta is very bad the history is bad with lots of bugs.

Having stated that they are revamping pro clubs players customisation, what they have actually done is take away any real morphing and replaced it with custom set faces with the adding of a few new hair colours.     Possibly the biggest downgrade in Fifa history. Pay to win, and just not fun anymore.

    The new Volta career is pure crap. Play a game as your pro, and your teammates AI would be better off with no legs. The opposing teams AI however is like and oiled machine.

    Everything else is unchanged and same **** as every other year.

    Career mode is broken beyond belief. Physics are poor the ball does weird things. Game is to fast. EA charge to much money. Game is poor value. I am switching to PES 2020

They stated that they fixed some issues (Such as teams fielding their top teams, congested schedules) and added new layers that was supposed to improve the game (Such as dynamic player potential, morale, and press conferences).


    All that was false advertised by EA, in their deep dive pitch notes they released about career mode in the summer.


    Teams are not fielding their best team consistently. Last year Premier League Champions Manchester City are getting relegated in some career modes. Yes, because that makes sense. Thanks EA.

    Congested schedules still isn’t fixed. Thanks EA.

    Dynamic player potential barely works. Morale is annoying and gives you very limited options to actually fix “Morale” issues. Press conferences is boring and doesn’t add anything. Thanks EA.

    Not to mention, the rosters are still not updated. How to you release a game where they can’t even get the rosters right…

    Champions League and Europa leagues aren’t updated for Career Mode.

    So many other issues. Champions League is actually broken and not playable. Those making FIFA are idiots, and they don’t care how poor of a product they released. They care about the money you already gave for the game, and FUT so they can make more money.

    DO NOT buy this game. DO NOT spend money on EA anymore. They only care about money, so do not give it to them.    … Expand

    the same broken game over and over again, punishing players who try to play build up beautiful football and encouraging noobs to win with exploits. Many many glitches, which they never fix from 3 fifas back. Really gonna switch to the other game!

    So many Bugs und Fails, unfortunately you can only use 5000 letters here so i can not get all up but I give a few examples: -In career mode the opponent Plays with the six choice Team (wich leads to the example that the best Teams get relegated) -the old cadres still -Players changes their    Worst FIFA ever.
    The same Gameplay since FIFA17 (which unfortunately everyone expected).
    So many Bugs und Fails, unfortunately you can only use 5000 letters here so i can not get all up but I give a few examples:
    -In career mode the opponent Plays with the six choice Team (wich leads to the example that the best Teams get relegated)
    -the old cadres still
    -Players changes their positions
    -Players complain about their times of use even when they are injured
    -Volta story is really low and just like an noob guide
    -.... so many more cant even remember all

    Just as an tip: Buy Fifa19 and safe 30€ or buy PES2020 where you get a much better and much more realistic Gameplay. It's a little bit complicated at the beginning but after a while you willl be completely happy with it. Also EA is under pressure not to lose all the Players and hopefully makes a good game sometime.

La inteligencia artificial me decepciona debido a que, sólo usa la lógica del handicap: si superas el juego, el juego te pone lento y malo y ellos con el primer tiro marca. Lamentable. A la vez la jugabilidad decepciona por completo. Cada año prefiero el PES que fifa porque al menos contiene cambios. Algo que en fifa ni se molestan desde 2014 todo sigue igual.… Expand

    Completely unplayable career mode as ‘fixed’ glitches continue to rid the game of any ounce of realism and new features fail to do as they’re intended and plague the mode with new glitches. A complete betrayal of the FIFA Career Mode community once again. Disgraceful.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
