    Очередная FIFA и очередной «молодец»…
    Скажу сразу, играю в ФИФу с 12 года, в среднем 2-3 матча в день (обычно вечерком чтобы отвлечься) просто против компа, не люблю соревноваться хочу отдохнуть. И за несколько последних лет понял что уровень сложности «Профессионал» самый оптимальный в плане гандикапов… А теперь о них: очень интересные отскоки, резкий прирост профессионализма игроков    Очередная FIFA и очередной «молодец»…
    Скажу сразу, играю в ФИФу с 12 года, в среднем 2-3 матча в день (обычно вечерком чтобы отвлечься) просто против компа, не люблю соревноваться хочу отдохнуть. И за несколько последних лет понял что уровень сложности «Профессионал» самый оптимальный в плане гандикапов… А теперь о них: очень интересные отскоки, резкий прирост профессионализма игроков противника и деградация собственной команды. Вижу противник начал финтить жди беды, твой игрок с пейсом выше 90 не бежит – жди беды, игрок блин тебя не слушается 5:0 ты проиграл. Если уровень сложности ставить выше то гандикапы постоянны, вот и приходиться балансировать, хотя и слишком легко стало. И ладно бы только противник становился бы сильнее, но нет, твои игроки превращаются в дворовую команду в одночасье.
    Оп-па двор. Режим Volta. Большего дибилизма для типа «нового» геймплея я не ожидал. Даже FIFA Street 13 года лучше управляется и сделана в целом. На первом этапе – все команды противника имели игрока Сид, как и у меня (может пофиксили), все ломаются об стены, финтить нереально (тем более что в этом году пытались сделать финты более сложными в использовании) в режиме ГДЕ НУЖНО ФИНТИТЬ, любой пас пытается улететь в стену, типа ты так и хотел… Блин, пасы…
    Я конечно понимаю, добавить сложности, реализма и прочее. Но когда уже игроки перестанут смотреть на мяч когда он катится в метре от него в ноги соперника. Пробовал и с помощью в пасах и без, и так и так маразма хватает.
    Так и не научился (хотя и не пытался) time finishing или как там его, после первых же матчей в 19 фифе в режиме ultimate когда мне игроки с рейтингом 60 забивали потому что ПОПАЛИ В ПОЛОСКУ с 30 метров с разворота, я понял что принципиально пользоваться не буду. Да, мне приятней стало играть сейчас, ведь движения и сложность удара стали лучше, но не изменяет факта, насколько сильно влияет рейт удара на итог.
    Режим карьеры футболиста. Я решил сделать ЦОПа в реале, и если раньше меня сразу скидывали в аренду (понятно зачем), то сейчас в составе реала выходит молодняк со мной и Азаром. Вроде приятно что со старта играю в реале, но кем и зачем, это капец… Карьера тренера, ничем не изменилась кроле локации, где можно подписать контракт с игроками.
    Написал сколько влезло к сожалению....
    Всем спасибо, а я и дальше, через силу, буду играть в свою любимую игру (я про футбол в целом, а не про Фифу, ЕА не обольщайтесь)….    … Expand

    As someone who’s religiously played FIFA’s for about 10 years, this is the first fifa where I just have no motivation to play it. Particularly FUT. The gameplay is so drab, the content is inexistent. EA never learn from previous titles. It’s borderline unplayable. Very little has been changed since the last fifa but somehow it is worse. 50/50 balls will defy the laws of physics, as do goalkeeper movements and passes that you perfectly aim at a teammate five yards away. Aside from the gameplay, the menus are now uncomfortably bad to navigate through. The content is boring, overpriced, or predictable as it’s been used in the previous five FIFA’s. That is, when we even get content. I’ve found so far the only time I log in to the web app is if there is new sbcs, which has been very infrequently.

    The one good mode, pro clubs, has been swept aside since the day it was invented. It’s ‘replacement’ this year, Volta, does not even have proper online play. No doubt that will be the big ‘new feature’ for fifa 21. Don’t even get me started on career mode. Not even worth touching. Volta is the only thing that saves this game getting a 0 from me. It’s somewhat enjoyable, even as a dull single player mode. However maybe I’m just comparing it to the lacklustre FUT and then anything will look good. It’s new, atleast, and doesn’t have to put up with the boring, slow football in normal gameplay. You score tons of goals in shorter games, which atleast keeps you motivated to keep playing. I’ll give this a 1/10. I say every year ‘this fifa will be my last’, and still end up buying it, but I’m sure it will be true this time.    … Expand

    Career mode has had one single appreciable upgrade from the last...I don’t know 7-8 years, dynamic player potential which is not working correctly.
    Otherwise the entire game is similar to fifa 19 only difference being the 5000 glitches in the game.
    Absolutely disappointed.

    Career mode is why I play fifa, I still prefer to play fifa 19 instead of 20..career mode doesn't even show the nationality of the players unless you go on the window where it shows all the information of each player, it's really hard to score as you approach the goalie he just steps in the goalie line and somehow the goalie manages to save the shot everytime...etc... So disappointed.

I opened my packs and played a couple of games to get the hang of it before I decided to go and personalise my teams badge and kit for the year ahead.     As always all they care about is Ultimate Team and care less about the offline aspect.

    I've seen so many ridiculous things on 5 career modes I have played, one of the most ridiculous was Man City getting relegated in the first season....meh

    Stay clear of this game.

    Also it makes me chuckle to see the critics giving this over 80 to 90+ scores on there reviews it looks like the fat cats at EA sports are keeping these guys happy with there bribes and bungs.    … Expand

    Worst fifa in years for online play. The delay in controls is unreal you almost have to do something 2/3 seconds before you want the player to carry it out. The passing is so inconsistent, players with 85+ passing pass into open space often with the opposition just picking up the lost ball time and time again.     Not worth to pay one cent. Movements worse than Fifa 19, strategically planning a soccer game still impossible, nothing really new. Defend player acting like harvesting strawberries and not like football players. Only horrible.

The gameplay just isn`t right, FIFA has had a problem for years that they never seem to balance, and that is the balance of speed. As is stated with several other comments, it`s basically the same game as last year with minor tweeks and different kits. If you have FIFA 17,18 or 19 don`t bother buying these games.     I am writing this in the hope that someone from EA will somehow read this. To be very fair to the team, this year's core mechanics have actually been enjoyable as opposed to the past two years (except for the penalty and free kick system). I was pleasantly surprised when i played the beta version and found it to be very enjoyable.

    Prior to this i had actually quit FUT because of the persistent problems of game imbalances like overpowered finesse shots, timed shots etc so this year I was resigned to simply playing casual career mode (basically back to what i was doing for the past 20 years).

    I was enjoying my first season and gameplay was great and normal. Once the second season started and my squad was improving to quite a decent standard, however, the gameplay simply fell off the cliff.

    What I was shocked to discover was that what I thought to be exclusively an FUT problem that affected even squad battles was even affecting an offline local single player mode: gameplay sliders manipulation.

    Gameplay became wildly inconsistent: I could have a decent half and the next half Mbappe would be controlling and moving the ball like a drunken centre back. Or this could simply happen right from kick off. I have played 3 and a half seasons and I have not seen gameplay go back to normal like the first season.

    Now, if the EA programmers think that this is supposed to keep their players engaged, the answer is simple. A big NO. If I am able to beat legendary difficulty AI consistently through my own ability and skill more than 5-0 almost every match then surely it's just a result of me mastering the mechanics of a football game and playing it way too much in the course of my life. The satisfaction of beating the opponent, whether human or AI, should not be taken away from me in the name of some twisted logic of equality or user engagement. Slowing down my players (and the opponents') in a bid to limit or determine the scoreline is NOT a good idea to maintain user engagement. I will not be bored of the game if i keep winning through my own skill but i WILL get bored and I WILL get angry when the game programmes itself to check my ability to execute my skills in the game.

    In a skills-based game this is just unacceptable. It's like altering the shot trajectory of your sniper aim if you're getting too many kills in PUBG or Counterstrike, or altering my frame inputs in Street Fighters to break my combos if I'm winning too much. If these are unimaginable in such games then why is this tolerable in a similar skills based game like FIFA?

    Please please take away the in-built game sliders manipulation programming/coding. It's just no fun for everyone.    … Expand

The matchmaking is worse than ever as well. I’d come up against some insane opponents in Ultimate Team and I’d have a squad with non rares. Manager mode is somehow worse even with all the features they added. Not muchGenuinely astounded how awful this years FIFA is. The gameplay is broken.     Absolutely the worst edition of Fifa in years, career mode has not improved at all and is completely lackluster. Passing and defending have gone down the sewer, it's now almost impossible to take the ball away while defending and passing is garbage. Game has devolved seriously and is in desperate need of a complete overhaul

    This game is just utter garbage. The match fixing has never been worst, even Serie A can’t top it. The difficulty level supposed to give the CPU better decision making ability, instead it just turn your players into bunch of Sunday league lads who can make easy ground pass and turning the CPU no name full backs into Lionel Messi and nutmeg my entire defense. EA needs to get their ****This game is just utter garbage. The match fixing has never been worst, even Serie A can’t top it. The difficulty level supposed to give the CPU better decision making ability, instead it just turn your players into bunch of Sunday league lads who can make easy ground pass and turning the CPU no name full backs into Lionel Messi and nutmeg my entire defense.     Fifa used to be the one game I played. Fifa 20 have made me not wanna play it anymore... Its so bad - dont matter if u can play the ball around, U just need fast offensive players and u can win. Really, really hope EA will re-think how they wanna make the 21. Even though Im not sure I will buy 21 after this one..

    Worst addition to the FIFA franchise, underwhelming volta mode that tried hard to replicate the original FIFA street, new "intelligent" defense mechanism is unbearably over-powered; making attackers with pace completely useless. The glitchiest FIFA to date with ignored fouls, players not chasing the ball when should and an awful experience altogether. DO NOT BUY!

    I got the game for Christmas and have spent a lot of my time playing trying to get used to the new feel of the game. I can't. The game feels so slow and unresponsive. Passing feels impossible. Any animation move takes way too long. Everything they changed from 19 just feels worse, somehow. Idk, maybe I'm just bad at the game, but I have yet to have a fun experience while paying this

    In every new FIFA, EA shows that's it doesn't care about the game anymore. It's all about FUT and making more money as long as there are still a lot of sheaps who plays this game and spend money on it.
    The game went from a soccer simulation to and arcade game, a bunch of super marios running with a ball. If Nintendo made a soccer game based on the Super Mario World, it would be FIFA 20.    In every new FIFA, EA shows that's it doesn't care about the game anymore. It's all about FUT and making more money as long as there are still a lot of sheaps who plays this game and spend money on it.
    The game went from a soccer simulation to and arcade game, a bunch of super marios running with a ball. If Nintendo made a soccer game based on the Super Mario World, it would be FIFA 20.
    If by any chance, PES get the teams licences in a future PES game, FIFA will disappear.
    PS : I honestly think Rockstar shoud consider making a soccer simulation based on the GTA Engine.    … Expand

    Absolutely garbage game, the worst Fifa I have played for sure (I’m 20 have been playing them all my life) all you need to do is look at customer reviews and not rigged ones such as IGN etc to see how bad it is. I didn’t think it would be possible to keep putting out worse FIFA’s every year but this is EA’s specialty.

The servers are down all the time and the gameplay is horrendous and boring . It allows those with no skill to play drop back and overload ball side , and don’t get me started on DDA. I love soccer so much but this game isn’t worth my time and energy. Fifa points shouldn’t exist , it’s a pay to win system.     I've only played the demo, and the very first second I've started playing, I knew something was wrong. So I've nether bothered buying the game.

    The only thing I can compare this to is Fallout 76.

    As a manager for both man and woman, especially for woman, there's no variety of outfits. Different colors of same parts.

    If you pick up a team from sub-leagues ( such Portsmouth), the time you climb up the achievement ladders, you do not get chance to level up your stadium, change banner or your team members.

    In jersey selection, you can not combine different parts, like home jersey with away shorts.

    Still photo of players incorrect. For generated players, it is getting more worse. No-photo players in 2020.

    (And faces are incorrect for most players too.)

    You can't customize your players as you wanted to. They still use same equipments from old games.

    Variety of boots is terrible and you can't create your boots according to your wants.

    As a manager, your selection of speech before or after the game is very limited. You understand this as your time moves on the career mode.

    The UI is terrible and slowest as it has been before.

    As you purchase the game continuously, they are definitely not planning to improve the game.
    If you still want to give it a chance, try EA Access . It'd be more logical.

I mostly play offline Career and attempt to take a bottom feeder to the top of the football world. I’ll save you the gripes about career mode being the same for half a decade and rants on why my 5th choice prospect CB is requesting game time for the 23rd time this season rant and tell you what really kills this game. Gameplay! Sliders do absolutely nothing to address the gameplay. Headers are pointless and crosses are worthless. The locked on receiver has zero clue where the ball is. Defense is rubbish and the ball magically always bounces to the AI. Players running into each other in hilariously clumsy cluster you know what is delightful. The game suffers from offline Lag I wasn’t even sure was a thing. Try not to explode when attempting a skill move for the 4th time before I can get Neymar to do a simple back heel touch. Even better imagine having a split second to get off a shot or pass thru on goal only to have your player take the worst first touch or watch the game stumble to find the animation for your lad to get a shot off before being mauled. Bet you never expected a defender to disposes you from behind as his leg goes through you to knock the football. Want your striker to make a semi intelligent run with your tactics set to Get In Behind, nahhhh. Maybe you prefer your shot to go the opposite way you shoot, or your pass to go to the worst possible recipient when clearly aimed at another player. What if your lofted thru-ball down the flank behind the defense was directed to the center line, or if every shot in the box was blocked by your teammates or the opponents hand with no way of turning on handball for career mode. Maybe you like taking the people’s elbow from Thor on the chin or a career ending boot to the knee with no foul given only to get a red card for a harmless tackle that doesn’t even take the opponent down. Best of all when you’ve dropped Your 27th F bomb of the day in your 0-0 80th minute match in which you’ve had 59% of possession and 21(13) shots on goal, you’re greeted with FIFAs patented scripting. Wycombe Wanderers magically morph into Prime Barcelona. You watch helplessly as they Tiki Taka down the field avoiding 4 tackles and sending a thru ball literally thru your CB’s legs to an unmarked ST and Exhault in glory as your GK makes an unbelievable 1V1 save to save the match!!     This game is just bad. If you're a casual player like me who just likes to play career mode and nothing else, please just save your money. One of the things that got me so frustrated with the game that I stopped playing, is the stamina problem. It is so broken that your player will be standing still, and will still be losing stamina. I am at 90 ovr, with 84 stamina, but my player’s staminaThis game is just bad. If you're a casual player like me who just likes to play career mode and nothing else, please just save your money. One of the things that got me so frustrated with the game that I stopped playing, is the stamina problem. It is so broken that your player will be standing still, and will still be losing stamina. I am at 90 ovr, with 84 stamina, but my player’s stamina always drops to 30-40% just in the first half alone, and by the end of the game, I don't have any more stamina. That causes me to skip every other game because if I don't, I will start the match with 60-70% stamina, and I'll lose all at the end of the first half. I should say that I barely sprint to, I'm always jogging from one point to another, but I stay lose stamina anyway. What really annoys me is that my opponent Ai seems to always have stamina to spare, even though they are lower rated than me. Those guys will sprint for the whole match, and still have 50-60% stamina at the end. Like what kind of bull crap is that? It's just so annoying to see my stamina getting drained like I am pouring water through a sifter, while the Ai’s stamina goes down like sand in an hourglass. I'm sorry for ranting, but this game is just so broken and annoying, and thankfully I had gotten it while it was on sale, because if I hadn't, I would have rammed my head through the wall nonstop out of anger.… Expand

    After the worst FIFA of all time in my opinion (FIFA 19), EA had to react and they seemed to do it in a good way, bringing this FIFA where basics look like promising at the time. The game has been nice to play during EA Access (prior official release, for 1 week) but unfortunately it appeared that the meta was awful.     Quite simply the worst fifa game EA have put out in the past 2 decades. Sluggish mechanics, glitches galore and arcade style animations with embarrassingly obvious trigger points, in what is claimed to be a vastly overhauled 1v1 engine. Gameplay is sacrificed for hyper-realistic faces, accessories and brands. Avoid and hope for better with 21.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.

    The new Volta mode is loads of fun, especially with some mates. But the overall FIFA experience is starting to creak, despite an impressive array of bells and whistles.
