I for one love the fluency of passes and how smooth it feels to attack. Yes, one on ones feel like they favour the GK way too much, followed by a rebound to the opposition but still. And instead of making 20 minute rant videos like sads****s, i'm enjoying the game. FUT is definitely to blame for FIFAs downfall in recent years cos that gets all the attention while the rest of the game is neglected.

    To sum up, the 1 star average rating by users, is straight up BS and was obviously voted by people who've never played the game. Gonna go carry on with my Tranmere Rovers RTG later. Happy FIFA 20 :) :) :)    … Expand

    The most incomplete game of the saga. FIFA 20 takes everything bad from previous years and adds more nonsense. Squads are not updated. Transfers are not updated. Career Mode is filled with bugs (they don't have a Career Mode team or anyone working on Career Mode in their credits.

    I think ea has reached a point where it doesn't know what to do better with the game, and that it does one thing and deliberately destroys other parts. And the defense system and the goalkeepers have gone, rather than improving, which confuses the user to learn, rather than challenge.

    For the first time in over 5 years, I've gone back to PES, which with the option file is glorious.

    Career mode broken to the point of being unplayable. Devs say they can't fix the game mode quickly so they have released a broken and Untested game again. Doesn't make sense to spend your money on a half made game. As per usual EA care only for their greedy, profit making game mode.

    Please don't listen to the reviews, EA probably paid for them all. Career mode is unplayable at the moment,gameplay is sluggish and there is little to none new features. This is trash and a spit in the face once again. I will never buy any game under EA ever again.

    Career Mode continues to disappoint year after year. It’s the only reason I buy the game and my patience is wearing thin. The only reason I bought was based on the promise of many new features but in actual fact EA has managed to regress the mode even further.

The game decides the player the ball is connected too, meaning your players run past the ball. Players now are just dumb and don’t do anything. And tackles that are now supposed to be fixed aren’t, you’re better off notFifa 20 is by far the worst FIFA ever. The gameplay is supposed to be more realistic and favour better players.     I honestly didn't even notice that i am playing new FIFA, felt literally the same as FIFA 19, i couldn't say say a single difference. Not even to mention EA not listening fans screaming about career mode. Total rubbish of a game!

    Career mode again is awful. Teams need updated, starting 11s are just stupid and overall gameplay is poor and we still have the same boring commentary. As usual everything has been put in to FUT because that is where EA make their money from the game and even that is poor with typically rubbish servers and the transfer market is broken.

    I have been buying this game every year since Fifa 06 and this year is a massive disappointment, don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying the actual gameplay but Career mode which is the whole reason I buy the game is just broken, there are just so many bugs it makes it unplayable, how its been allowed release is beyond me, may have to move on to Pes if it isn't fixed soon.

Slow.. crossing seems to be off, I find you shoot near post and it will go in pretty much every time, heading is awful. Defending is very hard not impossible but for most people it seems impossible. The gameplay is terribly slow and the CPU logic is lobotomized. Add all the glaring errors to the growth system, freezing CL errors, and non-sensical interactions with press/players and this gets a ZERO. If EAgross incompetence on the part of EA. I wont even talk about Ultimate Team or the new Volta Football, i just want to point out that the Graphics and Animations are disgusting and outdated. lets put the Scanned player faces to the side and take the Generic/Create a Player faces as the main Graphics. I wont even talk about Ultimate Team or the new Volta Football, i just want to point out that the Graphics and Animations are disgusting and outdated. lets put the Scanned player faces to the side and take the Generic/Create a Player faces as the main Graphics. Its the worst i have ever seen in the past 10 years, i mean even Oblivion faces had more Facial features and Emotions than the Players in FIfa 20. when we Create our own Player we can see that EA added quite a lot of new Facial Customization options, Now you can choose every Facial part Size and Shape and even Morph it :D... sounds GREAT right? but guess what? non of it change a damn thing. every Generic Players have the same face no matter how much you Customize it or morph it, its the worst Character Customization ever in Video Game History. but the sad truth is that EA know that their game is the same every year and they could Improve the Graphics and the Stiff Animations a long time ago (a good example could be NBA 2K series), but they wont make any drastic improvement with each new game that they release. instead they will make the same Game every year, add a little feature like Volta Football or Alex Hunter story etc, and sell it to you for 60$. why? because we idiots are Buying it, cause we want to play with an updated Barcelona squad.

    Barely any changes from last years game combined with the false career mode promises and extremely lazy game design resulting in consistent bugs and glitches equals a **** game that's not worth your money. Stick with FIFA 19.

    There are some gameplay tweaks but every mode feels the same for the last 4 years except for some minor tweaks. and so far this year career mode has game breaking bugs. they only seem to put in effort into micro-transaction modes. I just have about given up on EA.

    I have played it just a few minutes ago for the first time. And, what could I say... It is the worst Fifa Game EVER! Before this evening, I thought, this must be Fifa 19, but EA got me again...
    It is extremly unrealistic and so slowly.
    It really doesn't make fun, to play.

    I've been playing fifa since fifa 99! this is by far the worst fifa game I've played, bad and slow gameplay, stupid animations, broken players, it goes on. Don't even want to talk about career mode which is unfinished and sent to public!! Terrible

    Paid $100nzd for something that is broken. Cannot edit players generic boots without changing their position and lowering their overall. Man City getting relegated and winning 5-0 against liverpool's 4th string team ruins all realism

    It got worst on Fifa 19. Now reached the bottom with this weird Fifa 20.

    Every other Mode is not just neglected but, as is the case with career mode, broken and unplayable.

The changes were extremely basic, not properly implemented and are actually the reason why career mode is unplayable. They’ve managed to make the game ten times worse by adding new a few new features. How that is even possible is beyond me but they found a way. Customising the manager was long overdue, player conversations are just like the press conferences: boring and meaningless because they don’t really have any rewards or consequences to them, player potential is messed up, etc. They’ve spent an afternoon adding in a few things that they thought would placate us and it shows. They had a whole year and they could have done so much more as usual. Looking back at past FIFA titles you can see how they’ve actually stripped away features we liked and that the vast majority of fans would love to have back. Hiring staff, improving the stadium, setting price points, etc.
    After the train wreck of FIFA 19 this was the final chance to win fans back but they’ve proved yet again that they will try to get away with doing nothing but the bare minimum and deliver a broken mess of a game in the hopes that people will buy it anyway.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
