    Sooo broken that it's not even funny. Some new features in the game, but essentially the same as Fifa 19, except they BROKE Career mode :/ Tired of being shipped out a broken product that seems nothing like the original when all patch up at the end. Also, tired of being a tester as I'm a customer buying a product and service.

This isn't always a bad thing as some bugs only surface after thousands of players playing the game. What I cant abide though is a company that lies to take peoples money, especially those gamers who paid £80 for early access. They advertised features that simply don't work, and with immersion being a key part of career mode to see Man City sat in 17th in the premier league because they have decided Scott Carson is a better keeper than Ederson is stupifyingly stupid. Hope you are reading EA, ive been a FIFA fan since the very first one (yes im that old!) and I have seen your decline and disregard for career mode, it has cost you. Will most definitely be trading in this weekend if still no patch or news, and either way until I see an apology, acknowledgment and a promise to start testing products properly you wont see me as a customer again.… Expand

    Provides just a horrible, horrible, thoroughly unenjoyable gaming experience in every sense. Somehow, unberlievably this game just keeps getting worse and performance & service drops with each iteration. The same issues that were present in FIFA 13 are STILL present in this one. EA do not listen to their customer base whatsoever.

    Somehow EA even manage to give actual FIFA a bad name - no mean feat - if FIFA had any sense at all they would revoke their licenses

    EA need to somehow be held more accountable for their arrogant disregard for standards & the concerns of their customers. This piece of software should simply NEVER have been allowed to be released in the state it was. Full stop.

    If somebody even offers to GIVE you this game - Run. Don't walk. As far & as fast as you can in the opposite direction.    … Expand

    Otro FIFA con el que nos toman el pelo. Handicap brutal, básicamente gana el que la máquina quiere. Errores fáciles de solucionar que se repiten año tras año, colores de equipaciones similares, tarjetas rojas por entradas de risa, fallos del portero inexplicables.. bugs y más bugs. En fin, mientras lo sigamos comprando se seguirán riendo de nosotros.

    They managed to develop another game based on scripts. They seem to be totally incapable of making a real football sim. They code all the different parts of the game and then they put them together to fit their interests. They care about UT money - and that's about it.     I thought that I would give it a few weeks before I write a review. This for me will be the last EA game I ever buy and I have brought FIFA every year since 94. The game has gone on sale in a totally unfinished state. Some of the bugs are beyond a joke and should have easily have been recognized before release.     There is none stop input delay and it is very stupid that a company that make so much money every year cant even use a little bit of that money to improve their servers, they should understand if they improve servers people will enjoy the game more and ifthey enjoy it they would carry on buying the game every year.

    Всё одно и тоже, одни баги, глюки, нереальные удары, скорость игры была поначалу нормальная после патча опять вернули скорость. С 17 года нечего не меняется, могли хотябы доделать нормально всё уже.

    This game gets zero for me , firstly for releasing a game full of bugs as stated by many others, and secondly because career mode, the only mode I play, is 100% scripted to the point that you are playing a pre written story and nothing you do will make any difference to where you finish in the league and cups. The user cannot shoot the same way the Ai does, there's more errors on the user's side. The penalties are horrible. Just like in "real football," if a team is down by 1, they will play at a higher energy level to score. The team winning will do anything to preserve that 1 goal, which means they will play back, and more defensive.

    Didn't buy the game but played it for a week while house-sitting. Same story as every year. Definitely not buying this year. Career Mode is a joke full of bugs. The Volta mode is fun for a bit but not worth buying the game. FUT has ruined this game. FIFA 19 gameplay was better than 20 if you ask me.

    Cannot play the full game because it is illegal to buy fifa points in my country, i.e. Belgium. So a lots of players especially legends are impossible to obtain (close to 1000hours for Maradonna). These pay-to-win mechanics will kill the franchise if they do not stop being as greedy. I am not a huge football fan and barely tolerate that they sell a new full priced game every year insteadCannot play the full game because it is illegal to buy fifa points in my country, i.e. Belgium. So a lots of players especially legends are impossible to obtain (close to 1000hours for Maradonna). These pay-to-win mechanics will kill the franchise if they do not stop being as greedy. I am not a huge football fan and barely tolerate that they sell a new full priced game every year instead of making an upgrade (through a membership for example)… Expand

    Game is quick and slow at the same time. Defending is easy and attacking is hard. They tried to balance it but its **** wrong. They messed it up big time and it looks like the game isn't done making. I think they should really make a big patch about the gameplay because its so harddddd to fkn attack and fkn holding R2 all the time to defend is sooo op.

    The game is terribly patched, that users with good teams lose very high to terrible teams. Player get slowed down and passes dont arrive. Its not worth buying. Gets worse every year. Also game is unfinished and dissappointing. Momentum is ridiculous because once you get 2 goals you easily receice 3 more. Ridiculous game. Absolute rubbish wasted money.

    Hoje deixei a WL de lado por conta dos péssimos servidores, Delay monstruoso e também programação do jogo que prejudica o player com comandos na qual o jogador executa sem eu dar o comando ao player.

    Dá a impressão do game estar manipulando resultados e partidas. Nessa condições está impossível jogar. O Fifa q9 já foi um puta estresse.

    Não deixarei que o game que eu tanto gosto destruir minha diversão. Por isso nota 0 é último Fifa que jogarei.

I can't remember at what point FIFA stopped being fun to play but the last couple of editions have been beyond pathetic. I'll lay out a few of my gripes with the game.

    For starters, EA have introduced these new ball dynamics whereby the ball doesn't roll along the ground, it practically bobbles up and down off the pitch when you play a simple 5 yard pass. The result of this, makes playing passing football a nightmare. I'm pretty sure all of the teams in the Premier League and Championship have pitches like carpet so this wouldn't happen.

    Secondly, ball control. I've never seen a game where the first touch is SO poor. Professional footballers taking first touches 2-3 yards in front of them. Pretty sure these guys would not be on multi-million pound contracts if they could not control a football.

    The player physicality just defies belief. I've lost count the amount of times I've lost out on a header to Bernardo Silva or Raheem Sterling when I am controlling a 6 foot 5 centre back. BLATANT penalties or free kicks not given, it all just makes for a shambles of a game.

    The marketing department made a HUGE deal out of all of these 'game changing' additions to Career Mode. What a load of nonsense, they are all entirely superficial and add NOTHING new to Career Mode.

    If you haven't purchased it yet, don't bother. If you see it on sale somewhere and think 'oh, that might be worth a punt', don't bother. I fell into the trap of purchasing FIFA 20 when really it is just FIFA 19 with updated kits and rosters.

    Career mode broken as fuk. Playing FUT Champs is disgusting, the amount of scripting there is in that game mode is so stupid. Literally i end 80% of my games with 3 times more shots than my opponent and still i lose cause every shot he takes its a goal.
    Im writing this review ar the end of a FUT champs game i lost 3 2 where i made 24 shots and he made 3.

This is by far the worst version I have ever known. The game is broken from top to bottom. Online play is unplayable, the.server's are shocking. Tackling, passing & shooting is inconsistent to say the least. Penalties are flawed, you miss most of them even against the CPU. But free kicks are glitched so you can score every time .It's near on impossible to score a header from open play or a set piece. Defending is way to hard. A lot of games it is just a case of who can score the most. Some games you can not make one tackle any were on the pitch no matter what you do. Another game you win the ball back every time by doing nothing at all. One game you will have a shot's on target ratio of 80/90% the next game it's 30/40% even though your doing the same thing. Some games you dominate but lose 3-2 from 3 rebounded goals. Some games you win in the same fashion The out come of the majority of games feel's out of your hands. You may as well put the controller down and just watch, you will still win some games. It feel's scripted and many people claim it is. I have given it a few month's to see if patch's help but it's just got worse!!! Slowly the community is raising up to all the B/S and EA are seeing less copies being sold and less micro transactions. There response is to put 95% of there time into "how can we increase micro transactions" They aim to frustrate us with the broken game play. And it's broken on purpose. A frustrated user will keep coming back and maybe add fifa points thinking by doing so will improve there result's.

    Just look at this site, 1/10 user rating 8/10 critics rating. The only possible way that could exist is because critic's have been paid by EA. Metacritic should be ashamed to let this go on.    … Expand

    Absolute waste of your money. Constant button delay, glitches, wrong passing, not registering skill moves, players moving side ways/instead of going forward, defenders that do not intercept any ball at all. Save your money.

    The defending is trash. Too much dropback and AI blocking on the game. The defenders dont respond. The manual switching is very bad as well as the tackling. It is very horrible and very unplayable.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
