    this is most scripted game i have ever played and the LAST FIFA i will ever buy. FIFA is officially dead for me! every game is rigged. Its like playing handicapped or against a handicapped team like every single game. their scripted games just killed the very spirit of the game. I wasted like 40$ on this one.

Then when they screw up (e.g. server problems in the middle of a game) - you will lose that game (it happened to me three times TODAY), and (based on my previous interaction with their support team) you’ll get nothing more than “oops sorry”. It’s embarrassing for a multi billion dollar company to have servers seemingly maintained by my dog and 8EA is all too happy to take your money. Then when they screw up (e.g. server problems in the middle of a game) - you will lose that game (it happened to me three times TODAY), and (based on my previous interaction with their support team) you’ll get nothing more than “oops sorry”. It’s embarrassing for a multi billion dollar company to have servers seemingly maintained by my dog and 8 month old baby, but if they at least owned up to it I would be able to live with it. Instead they just shrug it off knowing that morons like me will keep buying their game. Well, not anymore. I haven’t played Pro Evolution in literally a decade because FIFA is marginally better, but at this point? This tiny margin doesn’t justify a company crapping all over you. Bye FIFA.     where to start, i'd say on the very basis the game is decent and playable for casuals who just play career mode and kick off with buddies on a saturday night. But take a further look into career mode, there is so many bugs in there that even in march they are still needing to patch everything visually and errors in AI coding to the game. Pro clubs is a fun-alternative game mode that you can enjooy with friends and randoms around the world. But considering there are so little interest in this gamemode and lack of content, it becomes dead earliest by around 4 months into the game's release. Oh and the creme de la creme and cherry on top is Ultimate team, after playing it for multiple years, this game mode is the most frustrating of all. There is barely any support on server and gameplay connnectivity that it's frustrating to be on the receiving end of a bad connection (note that delay is very one sided, it's been proven that the one with better connection gets given artificial delay by the servers to support your opponent) content wise it's fun and interesting in ultimate team, team building and going after objectives can be fun. But can also impact people's attitute to be very toxic-in game considering gameplay is very meta-driven. In-game money is very hard to earn since rewards are not given on-par to your user performance whether it's in div. rivals or weekend league.
    It forces the community to purchase FIFA POINTS which is sort of like a gamble with the rates you are able to pack a decent card. (remember this game is very meta-driven again, an 88 card means nothing). In game monitoring is also done by bots so don't be surprised if you get falsely accused of doing something that you didn't and found your account has been banned( this happened to me before)

    In conclusions, you should definitely reconsider before purchasing fifa20.    … Expand

    Remarkable how EA keeps on getting away with this scam of a game. A game with broken gameplay, focused on making the users addicted with their gambling mechanics. Governments need to start taking stronger action against this.

    Poor game-play experience in FUT. This is supposed to be for fun and enjoyment. Doesn't make any sense to play the game if it affects your mental health. The WL over the past few months have been horrible---the lag is unbearable. May be EA should focus more on improving game-play rather than releasing objectives each week to squeeze out more money from people!

    I think all the reasons have already been listed, but here goes: career has tons of bugs and glitches regarding transfers and league tables, player selection and the AI coach is straight retarded. Gameplay has improved in some aspects compared to fifa 19, especially the leg hitbox. As for the torso it has deteriorated extremely.
    Tldr: waste of money

    Workers are probably overworking or unpaid

    Reviewers are still bribed

    They still promise new cool features which get boring 2 days in and if you want to be good at guy you need money

    And even with that money the game glitches so much that you still lose, it's like gambling but with no benefit and just an easy cashgrab to scam kids

    -handicap (just like above) -lags, potato servers and delay, if you are not living near servers (for instance, berlin) you can wonder about consistent gameplay -kickoff glitch, after scoring goal    last enjoyable fifa (for me) was 17. this game is broken as hell. why?

Always by 4-5 or 5-2 after winning at the 70 minute 2 or 3-0. What's the point in playing something like this. It's pay to win but packs are terrible and making money is impossible because you CAN'TThis game is just broken.     Every year except 19 i bought this game with hopes of them fixing pro club(my main mode). So when they said fixes came for the game i bought but they lies. Terrible AI, bug, server issues, etc. They only want your money for ultimate club.

    Played FIFA for over a decade This was a joke I want a refund. Servers don't work 1/2 of games end in a glitch that screws me or my opponent over. The gameplay sucks and is extremely boring, pay to win, just an absolute mess. Just offer a refund.

In every game, online or single, there are times when the ball is constantly flying at the feet of the opposing player after the selection, or defending players just fly past the player with the ball (or make a selection and the ball bounces back to the opponent), and have a place to be times when there is simply no response to switching of the player at a dangerous moment, any response at all. And in defense, it doesn't matter that you have a van Dijk or another top card in the lineup, it can also fly past/stumble, and the opponent will have exactly the same impassable wall for the entire game. Terrible selection of opponents, no balance. Most of the top players just go down to the lower divisions and it becomes impossible for ordinary amateurs and pro players to play there. Because of all this, my successes are as follows: FUT 18-5 division, FUT 19-4 division, FUT 20-8 division! How's that possible? And if you come across an opponent with a significant number of icons, the players just fly by, and if you can make a selection, the ball as if to a magnet returns back to the icon of the opponent. Great, right?
    And, another important fact. In squad battle, at difficulty levels from professional to higher, the opponent's players run as if indicating "team pressure" or "numerical advantage on the ball", but the opponent's players do not waste their stamina. Where is the justice???
    My verdict is that this game is make me to suicide. I've already had a stroke because of my feelings about this game. This is the first time I go back to the previous version of FIFA, because the gameplay there is BETTER than the new one (Fifa 20), there is no frequent delay in response to the action, and most importantly fun to play. In the past FIFA, you can really be sure that if you lost, you lost exactly because of the skill, and not the script/connect/greedy developers. If this were possible, I would return all the money spent on FIFA 20 and never return to it again. Play FIFA 19. I play in FIFA 19 and save my nerves and health. Unfortunately, EA does not compensate me for my loss of health...    … Expand

I stopped buying all EA games 2 years ago aside from Fifa because I love soccer, but the lack of customer service, disrespect towards consumer feedbacks, lag, delay, poor connection, paid to win system.... (the list goes on). Are just too much and repetitive for me,EA continues to be in their line of making the worse games ever and they somehow manage to beat themselves year after year.     I have played Fifa and PES throughout my teenage years (World Cup 98, Fifa00, PES04 and 06 being of notable worth, and even more recently, Fifa 13) yo-yoing between the two. I even played Fifa18 in the Fifa19 and 20 years because, it was still slightly enjoyable. Only slightly though...

    Now that I'm 31 and gone through the realisation that the last Fifa I properly enjoyed was over 8 years ago, it really highlights how far we've pushed the AAA gaming companies. They continue to serve up either unfinished or half-baked crap or, in EA's case for the past 2 or more years, the same game wrapped up in new shiny clothing with a little ribbon (probably looks like a lot like Volta).

    I usually play career mode. I didn't buy Fifa19, nor did I intend on buying Fifa20 until my friend offered the £35 for the purchase for my birthday. Given the reviews at the time, I knew for certain, I was not going to play the full price. Straight away, for the first couple of weeks, I knew there was no improvements - various updates disappointed and made little difference to gameplay.

    I'm sure nearly everyone here agrees with what is wrong with the gameplay and though I would love to repeat these issues in great detail (with goalkeeping, tackling, intelligence with proximity to the ball, HEADING) there's just a part of me that would feel like I'm wasting my words.

    The improvements need to be made, the companies held responsible. It lacks the required immersive detail and features.
    - It still makes me incredibly frustrated that, apparently, you can only train 5 players weekly.
    - It frustrates me that you can do little to absolutely nothing with what you earn as a manager or, what you earn as a club (stadium expansion anyone?)
    - It frustrates me that there's no consistency with the low, medium and high priority tasks you have to do for your club in career mode. I don't know if anyone else has a problem, but, please can someone answer how I can effectively impact on the season ticket purchases/prices? Other random tasks seem to effect the manager performance too much.
    *For a while, 4 slow seasons, I managed Crawley Town. Back to back promotions saw me climb the leagues. 3rd season, in the Championship, I won the Carabao Cup. The 4th season, obviously, starts with Europa League qualification. We qualify and instantly the goal is "Quarter Finals".
    My team, at the time, had an 80 rated player as its best, all others mid to low 70s even, high 60s filtered through into the first team because, of course, there's a lack of a structured game calendar (I remember playing a game on Christmas Day). How could it be that a team with such a low overall be given such a ridiculous task? Win the league, sure, but not even mid table Premier League teams with a lighter schedule aren't given priorities like that in real life unless they've spent the big bucks.
    To make matters slightly more relevant to the point I'm trying to make, even going 20-25 games unbeaten, top of the league, through in the cup rounds, top of the group in Europe and managing squad morale, the overall manager rating could make it down to 65?

    Please.

    (note: I could go on with what improvements need to be made.)

    I do feel like this review is late to the game but it is a particularly relevant one to make. I have acted unusually here - even posting a review. Previous games I have been impervious too; the annoyances didn't enrage me this much, enough to render a game unplayable. I usually make it to 11-12 seasons in Fifa before the usual run up to the next one is around the corner. I did not here and I feel a calm. A sense of peace.

    Pathetic as usual fifa, almost every game has a technical bug or glitch. The servers and button page make it unbearable and every mode beside UT is ignored entirely.

    A much poorer version of FIFA 2018. No game-face-upload, the interface to create your player is very poor. Had an 'application error' during a training drill, lost hours of progress. A bug meant you had to select a further training drill but could not do so (all were locked) so more progress lost. Uninstalled and have asked PS for my money back.     Slow and boring gameplay which looks like it is controlled by EA sports script. Broken career mode and 12 foot goalies in Volta. What a pathetic game. Don't even try this even if you are struck at home due to lockdown.

    Pior fifa da historia. Comprei um jogo pelo que vi na demo e a cada atualizacao que saia, o jogo se parecia menos com futebol. Consumi o produto por mais de uma decada e agora, me recuso a comprar qualquer produto da ea, depois de ser tao enganado.

    This game is horrendous and EA doesn't care. Every mode is broken. Real money gambling is heavily encouraged even though it's E for everyone. It's not fun to play and bad for your mental health. If you've never played FIFA, I beg you, please don't start.

    Created an account just to write this review, **** game, **** gameplay, **** mechanics, **** AI, **** volta. Loyal Customer of FIFA since FIFA 10, but decided to change to PES. Greatest thing for me. Craving for that excitement when scoring goals or tackling with defenders and PES delivers.

    This game is pure eye cancer and terrible for mental health. It’s a totally scripted lottery game with terrible gameplay. They’ve broken things that were fine and fun in previous games (headers, crossing, shooting, defending, skills) in a desperate effort to push people toward packs. Don’t buy!

Servers are horrible giving they’re a multi billion earning company per year in revenue. Only thing with effort put into it from developers is FUT due to that being their money baby... Pay2Win is also a major factor in the game... Something needs to change!

    This fifa is definitely the worst yet, I hadn't played pro clubs for 4 years I can confirm they still haven't fixed a thing on it. Players can't head the ball or cross. The game is dreary with alot of games being very low scoring consistently making the whole game a grind!!

    This game is completely scripted. Ultimate team sucks. No matter how you play, if you are not paying EA for special players, you will not win. As simple as that. If you don’t believe me, watch FIFA 20 rage videos on YouTube.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
