    This game is simply impossible to play, the online one is only for people with handicap, the packs a person gives 125k for a pack and gets 10k. In short, each year the game gets worse and harder to play.

Every online game from UT to pro clubs is rigged and every other feature is the same as last years and the year before that and the year before that

    I bought FIFA20 because of false advertising. The promised career mode features were pretty underwhelming and bugged (some of them like press conferences still are). I got multiple safe files in which I softlocked by getting to many points f.e. to many skill move stars    I skipped the past FIFA games, because of the lack of changes in career mode, pro clubs, basically every offline mode.

    I bought FIFA20 because of false advertising. The promised career mode features were pretty underwhelming and bugged (some of them like press conferences still are). I got multiple safe files in which I softlocked by getting to many points f.e. to many skill move stars which leads to a value of 0 in every stat that is overleveled. A stat of 0 removes all abilities bound to the action. F.e.: Skill moves = 0 means you cant even stop a shot whilst loading b. (There is no fix for that)
    Career mode is still repetitive and now even rival or ex clubs wont booo you anymore because of fair play. Every match is the same and there is no actual emotion behind any game you play.

    I play a lot of FIFA locally with friends and the new Freekick and Penalty system completely ruined the game for us. When you disable the crosshair so the other person doesnt see it you either miss or the person next to you can just move the goalkeeper in position. Old version was better.

    My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

    PS: I am not checking my review for mistakes, because its not worth my time.

    Too many bugs, glitches, scripting which is very frustrating. Immoral gaming with FUT gambling system, this is slot machine gaming with a football skin. A very toxic core game mechanic, huge waste of money. I was a fifa player for years (started with fifa 07), since 2-3 years the game brings me more frustration than pleasure, not giving fifa a new chance anymore.

Even the real football got changed and evolved but EA will try to sell same game for 5 years straight. if you really want to buy football game you can buy previous years much cheaper but game wise still the same game.

It’s the same old fifa you know and hate, some of the game modes are actually enjoyable like career mode and pro clubs but if you look back to say, the same game modes if older fifa games such as fifa 15, the game modes have had very slight tweaks and improvements over the years, but not AAA game changes over the 5 year period which is between these games. Every single year it is not A new fifa game that is released but it is a minor update which cost the consumer £50. If you want to waste your money on a game which isn’t much different to the one before it, go ahead. However EA is going to keep scamming you year after year if you keep buying fifa yearly. This leads me to my main issue with the EA fifa franchise. Ultimate team. The controversy over this game mode has exploded over the recent years with main stream media and governments getting involved in the glorified slot machine which is fifa ultimate team. If you don’t know what ultimate team is, it allows you to create a team with players you buy from earning currency in game. Seems innocent right? Wrong! EA has deliberately made it hard to gain large amounts of coins to buy the best players in the game, which gives you a huge competitive advantage. Or... you know, you can just pay for them :) This is where my personal hatred from the disease of a gaming company which is EA comes from. I can’t believe they get away with scamming young children who don’t know any better to use mummy’s credit card in order to purchase the devils currency, which is fifa points. You can spend these fifa points on fifa packs which give you all kind of players ranging from bad to good with chances of getting nothing good for your money. This is a serious problem because fifa packs are just disguises for online slot machines which literally follow the same principles and highly addictive nature of opening a fifa pack. As I mentioned earlier it has reached the attention of various governments around the world and they agree with the points I have made, in Belgium they have banned the purchase of fifa points and countless amounts of countries are proposing stricter regulations around loot boxes such as the UK. Do you know what EA’s response to mainstream media was? ‘It’s just like opening a kinder egg’. That’s all I’m going to say really.

    Thanks for reading this lengthy review about EA which was just an angry rant about how much of a scumbag company EA is. The point to take away with you is stop buying fifa for a few years and EA will be forced to add game changing features and game modes, if you care about the fifa franchise that much.    … Expand

But when you go to online, balance is going to be idiotic: you can't play with players even with your team, it's always stronger or weaker than you, and then the mighty handicap is decide which team is going to win.     Once again Ea have perfected this masterpiece. The game play is as poor as every with the passing reaching the right player a staggering 20% of the time. A record LOW. Your players never make the right runs while you defenders open up, reminding you that you have to open packs to win. I didn't think it would be this bad. But my god, they surpassed expectations.

    Worst game on the market, driven by EA greed. All about FUT and the money they make from it. If you don't buy packs you get handicapped, surely getting better players is advantage enough, but no, it's all about the cash.? EA claims the constant lag and button delay is not their end, yet every other game works fine! EA - it's in the GREED.

    Why would FIFA give people the incentive to relegate divisions in FUT Rivals on Purpose? Why would FIFA create objectives for high ranked cards that are only achievable in Rivals? Why not balance the objectives for ALL cards to make them obtainable in Rivals OR Squad Battles to reduce the incentive for players to relegate down to Division 10 in an attempt to meet card objectives againstWhy would FIFA give people the incentive to relegate divisions in FUT Rivals on Purpose?     A true disgrace of the franchise. They only focus on FUT where they can make money by loot boxes, even though the game itself is already 60 euro or more. What once was their flagship, career mode is completely destroyed: retarded post match interviews with 0 relevance to the game, even a toddler could do better. The youth recruitment is pathetic, with only 4 or 5 names per country (go forA true disgrace of the franchise.     This game is a piece of a **** Full of flaws, and GAME RUNS WITH OBVIOUS MATCH FIXING. None of their excuses to blame players in EA HQ website makes sense at all. FIFA has become a embarrassment for sports and games at the same time. If EA wants to blame users one bit, they need to fix these flaws at minimum.

    1. Fire crews who are responsible with this ****ed up servers or let players know how they are going to improve the server/game play at least. And it should not be something like showing ping number that is always same while players always experience different game play.

    2. They should inform players about how they are going to deal with cheaters.

    I strongly believe FIFA 21 will not change much from FIFA 20. They will ONLY focus on more efficient MATCH FIXING and PACK SWINDLE I would definitely recommend reading this review before you buy FIFA 21 especially when you do not have EA's data center near your location.

    I was a fan for many years, but not anymore. Totally, poor arcade game. Those who seeking a realistic and immerse simulator I honestly recommend PES. Enjoying PES20 this year.

From having very limited ways of scoring, clear scripting, to the same Career mode after 15 years! To think we're in 2020 and career mode is exactly the same, I honestly find that insulting. Fifa has been rubbish for the last five editions. Complete joke of a game and EA are amongst the worst developers out there. Dead game dead company.     The game is the same thing every year and the physics have got worse in so many ways. They haven’t updated pro clubs since the game got introduced in the fifa series and just pour all of their money into ultimate team. Terrible game.

    it is very difficult for me to come here to rating a game, but this is worth all the time in the world to say that it is the worst fifa I have ever played. It's amazing how they can make a game worse instead of fixing last year's mistakes. They tried to copy PES 2019, which is the best football game so far, and failed miserably.

    FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
