    This is the issue when you have a release date before producing a game. It is borderline unplayable and full of bugs. Shame on you for releasing this game EA!

    The new version, despite the fact that is the same game than previous versions, is a complete crap. A lot of new bugs, delayed and imprecise controls and the worst handicap ever made in a Fifa game. They really made it, EA destroyed the game completely.

    Simple. Just look at the other reviews. It does not matter what experts or critics say- the audience is not happy. The fans are not happy. It's probably too late for the yearly consumers, but under no circumstances, DO NOT purchase this product. They have broken many things of the game, as well as essentially falsely advertised the game with having features of it that are not functional.

    Absolute garbage. I've been playing Fifa since 09, and this one is by far the worst. I don't know what they were thinking, but it is obvious that the EA is focused on UT only. Pro Clubs are soooo sluggish and not fun that is it sad. They are trying to kill it so that nobody plays it, and they are on it.

    EA is the worst company in the history of capitalism. Period. Look at the accounts that gave this game 10/10 — they are recently created for the sole purpose of attempting to pull the user score up. How ****ing pathetic is that? Are those employees or friends and family of employees? Random people that were paid? EA just cannot stay away from scummy practices. I wonder what next these clueless schmucks will come up with, lol.
    Lastly, the EA's community management is just terrible. I swear, given how they manage the current crisis, they hire literal degenerates. It's like they are running some sort of second chance association for recovering crackheads.

    That all being said, you should give eFootball PES 2020 a try. At least they care about improving their game, despite it also being an annual franchise. All their recent partnerships: Bayern Munich, Barcelona, Juventus and Manchester United, is a good indication where Konami's priorities are compared to those of EA.

    This is the most unfinished FIFA game I have ever played. It's full of glitches and bugs that you pay full price for, and will not be fixed in the next 5 years. It would be fine if this was just an alpha version and ready to be released in 5 years or so.

Which then will let weaker opposition win with very few shots while you’re lucky to score with 10. Aspects haven’t been fixed for years. All ea want is your money!!! Avoid this game.

They announced so many changes such as being able to personalize your team and so on, which is all bs, all they did was adding useless tifos, and a few ridiculous badges. Over 5 years of Ultimate Team and still it isnt possible to create your own kits. I’m not even talking about detailed creation, they could literally take their own example from Pro Clubs or even better, bring the customization we had available on the last Fifa Street. Fifa Street which made a comeback this year as Volta, which by the way is not even close as being good as the last Fifa Street for the old gen. I’ve always been a die hard fan of Fifa, and its just sad to waste money to witness EA destroying the series year after year. I’ll probably return the game to get credits to buy another game or whatever. My advice for those who havent got the game yet, don’t do it anytime soon, wait until they fix the major bugs, assuming that they will, if not, save your coins.

    Momentum still exists...server is so bad that I cannot play online division 1on1. And intercepting is sooooop powerful.     6) Big teams will always field a weak team for a big game. Example, Barcelona will not play any of their starting XI in the Champions League final.

    EA will no doubt fix these but the fact they were allowed to happen AFTER RELEASE is completely disgusting. It is common now to buy a game for it to be 60% complete and we, the consumer are supposed to be content with that. VOTE WITH YOUR WALLETS.

    EA do not care about anything other than making money which is why Ultimate Team works perfectly but the rest of the game, especially career mode is broken.    … Expand

    Graphics are pure garbage. Please, just take a look to a Fifa 15 gameplay and you will realise how the game in 4 years has become a total waste of time and money.

The amount of deflection and rebound goals this year is insane. Heading the ball is useless. The referee logic is worse than ever before. I’ve never believed in game scripting until this fifa - the game letting someone you’re clearly better than hang around so they have a chance to win it - and they often do via a rebound in the 90th minute. Not to mention the lack of improvement to career mode and pro clubs for example. Awful experience all round… Expand

    I created a Metacritic account just for this game. I’ve never in my entire life played a game half as broken as this one. defending in it is pure **** to the point where no match passes by without at least 8 goals being scored. Its beyond ridiculous how many goals are scored in each match, and how polarized each match’s result is.

    Fifa 20 is honestly the worst fifa in a long long time. I grudgingly paid £80 for ultimate edition. Had pretty good team, but the gameplay is awful. Fifa 19 is much better game,if you're playing 19 and wondering if it is worth buying the new one, don't. After 2 weeks I have quit fifa 20 to return to 19. Don't buy it, it's terrible.

    this is the worst fifa i ever played. i bought this game just for career mode and it is not playable at all. no update can fix this, the base game is just really bad. imagine finishing the first half of the season in career mode and you see Manchester utd in first place and everton 2'd city 9th arsenal 16th LOL.

Tackling is rubbish have to make 3 or 4 tackles before actually winning the ball back. Shooting is inconsistent, what’s the point in timed finishing when if you hit a green timed shot it makes the shot worse instead of better.     The career mode is completely broken I wonder if they even played through 50% of one season ... the game has more bugs than fifa 18 and most features in the Pro mode don’t even work. Absolutely honorless to sell this game for 55€ euros you basically only pay for a new design, ultimate team cards and the almost current squads

    - Players starting to game off the pitch
    - Sound crackling - XP accuracy - Objectives not completing -    Feels like an unfinished product! Gameplay is unbalanced and awful, headers don’t work, passing is mediocre at best.     FIFA 20 is a better football simulation in overall compared to FIFA 19, but it’s still lagging behind its main competitor greatly. EA is losing the race to Konami, at least in this generation of consoles, where they used to dominate.
