    Thats definitely not 10 out of 10. Gameplay in experienced difficulty still isn't challenging enough (but much better than in Beyond T.S.). The plot is very, veeeerryyy naive (Hunger Games - Divergent level of naivety) and has several plot holes.
    But everything else is flawless. Art style is great, very accurate attention to small details. Acting, graphics, animations, OST - all this    Thats definitely not 10 out of 10.     U dont miss a game like this. Absolutely everything in this game is great. Negative comments? probably COD or something else fanboys who dont know what a great game is, just ignore them this game is unique as every other one from Quanticdream.

    Here we are again with another Quantic Dream game. The interactive-movie style genre is mostly entertaining and offers a relaxing pace with a branching narrative to explore. The best aspect of these games is that they are truly non-linear, and every decision has an actual impact on the plot and events of the game. The downside is that all of these games feel EXACTLY the same. It'sHere we are again with another Quantic Dream game. The downside is that all of these games feel EXACTLY the same. It's literally just like Heavy Rain but with robots. Beyond Two Souls was the supernatural/ghost version of this genre, and then Until Dawn was the "survival horror" game. Detroit: Become Human feels like an extended episode of The Outer Limits, for better or for worse. There are some genuinely interesting characters and plot devices. There are also many cliche and over-the-top moments filled with cheesy, on-the-nose dialogue trees. The tone of the game feels a little pretentious at times. Different controversies are injected that parallel real-life social issues in very obvious ways. The game is enjoyable for what it attempts but I wouldn't say it's imperative for anyone to play. It's just something to jump into when you need a break from other gameplay styles. It's like turning on a bad sci-fi movie when you're bored and there's nothing else to watch, it keeps you interested enough to see what happens in the end.
    The game has many hilarious moments, both intentional and unintentional. They really want you to take the struggle of the androids seriously, which at times seems really sincere but other times feel like B-movie outtakes from a bad sci-fi. This game works on many levels but I think Quantic Dream needs to try another game genre. Heavy Rain took everyone by surprise because it felt fresh at the time, and now we've had three more spiritual successors that have imitated that game in almost every possible way. There are some new elements like the crime scene investigation that makes Detroit: Become Human stand out. It's just a little tiring to go through the same kinds of scenes with the same kinds of QTE's and the same kinds of dialogue options and decision trees in every single game they produce. It's very clear that David Cage is more of a film buff than a gamer. It would be better if he tried to reinvent the wheel instead of giving us carbon-copies of the tried-and-true formula every time.
    This is not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. The graphics and soundtrack are incredible, and the voice acting is very convincing. It achieves what it sets out to accomplish, which is to provide an interactive-movie style game. I hope in the future though, we see a little more creativity from this developer in terms of actual gameplay. Give us a game that we can invest countless hours into and becomes truly engaging, not something that simply fills the gap in between triple-A releases.    … Expand

    Amazing game from start to finish! It got me intrigued in the story and made me care for the characters. The only negatives are that the game is rather short. But this game made me feel things that I’ve never felt before playing a game and I loved playing it.

    This is my 1st ever review on this site. Detroit - Become Human was an exceptional game, not only did you feel like you’re playing as 3 characters but your decisions/choices mattered. This is a game I’ve felt a real connection with ALL the main characters and the fact the storyline changes dependent upon the Players choices bring it to another dimension. I cannot for the life of me understand nor accept the negative reviews about this game, either they struggle with the actual concept or simply cannot grasp the fact games are evolving, incorporating the End User more so and also try to Involve the players as much as possible.

    The graphics on Detroit -Become Human are simply ‘INCREDIBLE’ the game play’s fantastic, realism Stunning and the emotional attachment to EVERY character Irreplaceable/mesmerising. This game is truly an amazing Masterpiece and I would 100% Recommend it to anyone, anyone who embraces the fact/concept that games are moving into a new realm/realism. This is the 1st game I’ve played where I know my decisions affect the Gameplay and it’s something I’m new towards but I really do embrace it. I hope Quantic Dreams follow up after this stunning game and bring us even more explorative/innovative games in the near future.     Wow, this game is simply perfection! I was shook in every scene! I'm in love with the story, with the characters, with the settings - I can't remember when I've played such a thought-provoking game the last time! Quantic Dreams did a fantastic job on this game, I'm absolutely fascinated!

    This game was fantastic. Never have I been more emotionally invested in the different stories and character progressions, than I have with Detroit: Become Human. Your choices toward the different storylines can have such a profound impact on the direction your story goes next. It truly feels like you're playing/directing a movie.

    First time in ages since a game has moved me, made me laugh, cry and fear. This was an emotional rollercoaster and with real people building up real relationships and the development and the hardships of these individuals. I am extremely happy I was able to experience this, the story telling the graphics the immersiveness is extremely well done.

    The graphics were next level! The story kept me guessing and i never knew what was to come next. I loved it so much i played though twice already and i want to get the platinum trophy! There are so many different ways to play the story. Just an all around great game.

    -all bad reviews is people who got bad ending which destroyed them morally.

    Frankly I'm appalled that this game has received anything less than a 9.5-10.0.

    It was perfect from start to finish. Direction was phenomenal, performances were top notch, pacing and narrative were beyond (two souls) anything else currently on the market. The choices were consequential and heavy. I often had to stop playing to catch myself and reconsider whether I had made the right    Frankly I'm appalled that this game has received anything less than a 9.5-10.0.

The choices were consequential and heavy. I often had to stop playing to catch myself and reconsider whether I had made the right decision. Needless to say there is no "right decision" Every choice you make advances the story forward in a meaningful way. It truly is a narrative that adapts to the choices you make and forces you to consider what it means to be human. I found myself questioning assumptions I didn't know I had only to be put in a position that showed me why I had a reason to have those assumptions in the first place.

    In every way this game is a masterpiece of technology, story, performance, graphics and narrative. A 10/10 for any gamer that appreciates a game with mature choices and real consequences.

    This game is probably the best story driven game I have ever played. It has an intriguing story, with a lot of different outcomes. Because choices really do matter. And some of them are very hard to make. The character design is absolutely brilliant, and so is the story. Amazing.

    Great story-telling and acting. These two make it an amazing game, there's no need for extremely pushing gameplay or mind blowing action, it's main point is how this game is extremely bending, you can shape the story yourself and actually see the outcome of your choices.

It is incredibly interesting to observe the development of the plot, make your own choices and watch where they lead you. Characters are amazing.I mean, everyone of them. Connor and Hank and their father-son dynamic is everything to me tho. This game gave me a lot of emotions, I have not experienced this for a long time.

    Three amazing independent stories. Choices that really impact the gameplay heavily, not just cosmetically like in many cases of "your choices matter" nowadays. The game is beautifull, the shooting and directing is amazing, better than in many movies in my opinion. And let's not forget about the music. Possibly the best game of Quantic Dream yet.

It is a cerebral game which explores some of your inner most desires and fears and forces you to make stressful choices which impact on your journey through the game. I enjoyed Connors story the best, my girlfriend likes Karas and was really pi$$ed at me when I accidentally killed her. If you pick this game up it isAbsolutely loved this game. My girlfriend "willingly" sits and watches it. It is a cerebral game which explores some of your inner most desires and fears and forces you to make stressful choices which impact on your journey through the game. I enjoyed Connors story the best, my girlfriend likes Karas and was really pi$$ed at me when I accidentally killed her.     Voice acting is top notch, visuals are nice, storytelling is up to the player and phenomenal. Carl is best dad. Hank is best partner cop. Best Quantic Dream game. Atmosphere is amazing.

    This game made me cry. It's so amazing - every path of character is so different, so unique. You just want to replay as many times, to get all options. QuanticDream made amazing game, and everyone should at least try it. The love and hard work, you can see it in the production. May i ask it, personally, game of the year!

    The beauty of this game is the respect and power given to the player. You literally decide the story and outcomes. There are heart touching moments, and shocking moments. The dynamic between Connor and Hank is worth the full price for the game by its self. Connor is the coolest video game character in a while in my opinion. The list is long. I've almost lost hope I will find an exciting and memorable game to play. The "Detroit: Become Human" has been the first game from Quantic Dream I've played. Strangely enough, I've never heard about David Cage's games before, probably because I'm fan of PC and my family is a fan of XBOX. So, it's was a completely new experience on many levels. I have immediately fallen in love with this game. The branching of the story is a pure genius and something that had never been done before. Yes, story based games aren't new, but the fact remains that the sheer number of different endings is a novelty. It doesn't only mean the gamer gets different ending of a whole story. It means that we get a whole alternative stories from start to finish. It's like fanfiction on steroids with thousands of "ifs". The story itself is gripping and emotional, characters are very likeable, graphics and music are simply stunning, and overall playing is fun as hell. There are exploration, chasing and fleeing parts when we have full control of a character, there are also fights with QTE and of course parts when we need to make tons of decisions. For someone who doesn't like or even hate action games (I call it "just pressing buttons, hoping kill someone"), that's the best game to play. There's a lot of adventure, but the most important thing you need is your brain and wits, not buttons (but that doesn't mean you can't loose a fight if you are slow :D). There's definitely a room to improve, I will never question that. No game is perfect. But at this point of time it can't be better.… Expand

    This game is just alright, but it has some really awesome moments. It starts off incredibly. The opening sequence is one of the better opening sequences I've ever played. It's a hostage situation, they set the tone super well, the music is intense, and you're just making a bunch of choices that feel really consequential (at least at the time). So right off the bat, I'm like wow this game is dope. And it mostly continues in that vein throughout the first act with some of the best dialogue-based gameplay I've experienced.

    Unfortunately, somewhere around one third or one half of the way through, it totally falls apart for me. The dialogue just repeatedly hits you over the head with the themes and the narrative, in my opinion, proves completely unable to handle the sheer amount of choices you can make with three playable characters. This game feels like playing a "choose your own adventure" movie more than any other game, but it just doesn't really come together and you're better off just watching one the Blade Runner movies. I think this would have been much better if you only could control Connor and Kara, and the story was only about Connor trying to catch Kara. Or, maybe it would be even better if you only controlled Connor in that scenario. Connor often feels like the most interesting to me because he is torn between hunting androids and being one himself (watch Blade Runner). The Markus storyline has its moments, but it becomes too big of a story to work with this amount of choice. In my playthrough at least, the Kara storyline ended up feeling like an afterthought that didn't fit in.

    Not to mention that with so many different choices you can make, the main beats of the story are nonetheless the same. I recently replayed the Last of Us, and I think the fact that I felt more conflicted about the choice I was forced to make at the end of that game than I was with any choice I made in this game says it all. I respect the ambition, and I'll always remember a few moments like that opening hostage negotiation, but ultimately this game doesn't work for me.    … Expand

    this is by far better then heavy rain and looks goregous.

    Detroit B H has a Great story, best in class digital art, wonderful performance capture with above average storytelling and an excellent soundtrack all of which coalesce into a fantastic interactive story. If you are a fan of the tv show 'Humans' then this is the game for you.

    This game is amazing! So many options and storylines, things that can go very different and open new dialogues and completely new option and people to play with. This game is my favorite together with heavy rain and beyond 2 souls. I had a very good ending :) Only 2 characters died in the end so I was happy overall. But I recommend this game to everyone!

    Another great exclusive Playstation game that is deeply moving and meaningful. It's a very immersive story. The sound and the graphics are amazing. You can feel the love the Devs had for this game. I cannot wait to see what else this studio has in store for us in the future. This game is a work of art.

    Quantic Dream vuelve a hacerlo y se marca un señor juego, con una historia adulta pero muy bien guionizada, una aspecto realista muy cinematográfico, unos personajes muy carismáticos (sobre todo sus secundarios) y en definitiva una obra de arte. Además supone un soplo de aire fresco entre tanto juego clónico.

    Apparently the developer thought that since everyone is so in the love with the idea that almost everyone and everything is racist that they could cash in on it by making a game or interactive movie about the desperate and unjust plight of future androids. They basically equate it with past racism and slavery.

    Personally, I say bring on the androids, but not the ones in this game, which are ridiculous and will never happen. Then again, considering they will be made and programmed by humans, maybe androids aren't a good idea.

    Anyway, if you want to watch a lot of moaning, screaming and preaching about injustice, save yourself some money and just turn on the news or go on social media.    … Expand

    This game will get a lot of hate because it doesn't do "gameplay" in the way people assume gameplay should be, as if it was written in some rule book. But games would be boring if they were all the same. I personally like this genre of gaming, and this is a must play if you're in to story/choice driven click and point games.

    You don't do much, mostly you just walk around talk to people, have some QTE-s and make decisions that have far reaching consequences. That's all you're going to get from this game.

    The story is decent enough, although nothing extra special (a bit clichéd sometimes), and they missed a few high balls that could have taken the story to different places in my opinion.
    All in all the presentation is fantastic (for a ps4 game) and the characters are interesting and diverse enough to keep your attention for the relatively short (10-15 hour - depending on your choices) runtime.
    The game is incredibly polished and it clearly shows how much care was taken creating it.
    Once again if this is not your style of game you will probably give it a 1-2, but if it is then you will probably end up loving it and give it a 9-10. That's why you will see a lot of conflicting reviews here.    … Expand

The game has an enormous range of choices and outcomes, meaning you will most likely have a very different experience from other players. There are multiple endings, you can save all the characters, let them all die, or any combination in between. Its greatest weakness is in some of its endings. Odds are if you get one of the bad endings, you will not be satisfied with it. But thats okay, because the game is designed for you to replay it and make different choices to see how things could have played out differently. If you achieve one of the good endings, the story is much more rewarding and satisfying. In the end, if you come into the game expecting an immersive character driven story with fantastic presentation and player choice, you will be blown away.… Expand

    This was my first David Cage game, so I can't speak to whether or not there was a lot of repetition from other games, but all I can say is that the environments are amazingly detailed, the graphics are great, the storyline is pretty good, the soundtrack is above average, and there is replayability.

    I would like to start by saying that I went into this game expecting it to be exactly what it is, a narrative driven game that takes your decisions into account and you mostly just talk, make decisions and have quick time events. If you expect something else, you clearly haven't been paying attention to David Cage's previous games and how they work.

    That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this game from start to finish. I grew so attached to the characters that I literally cried with joy and relief at the end when I managed to squeeze in a save for two of my characters.
    I would also like to say that I just love stories that revolve around AI, so I may be biased for the story's game, but I for one think it was a nice story, not necessarily never told before, but definitely told in an exciting and captivating way.
    Although, I would like to add that a few parts I saw coming from a mile away.
    It's great that you have the flowchart and you can revisit the chapters to try and unlock all possible branches, and make all the different decisions and see how they would have panned out.
    One little gripe I do have with the game is that 2-3 times during the game, I made a certain dialogue choice that totally didn't go the way I thought it would based on the name of the option. And this can be a bit bothersome because it can screw your playstyle up a bit and since I didn't want to replay chapters to min/max my game I had to stick with those poor choices.

    In terms of the story subject, if you are bothered by messages related to a certain group being free and receiving equal rights, then this game is not for you. If you are bothered by opinions different from yours, this game is not for you.

    The visuals are just beautiful and stunning.

    All in all. I'd definitely recommend this game for people that like to get involved in the story.
    Most definitely, people that liked David Cage's previous games, should play this.
    I recommend this people to people that like their endings to be decided by the actions they take throughout the game.
    I do not recommend this game for people that get bored by QTEs and want some other kind of meaningful gameplay.    … Expand

    I love Detroit: Become Human so much, all actors did a good job in this game! The stories around three characters are attractive, and I love the interactions between game characters and players. It makes me feel like I am one of them, thanks to Quantic Dream for developing this fantastic game!

    This game is one of QD's best work the scenarios with multiple paths are the best part of Detroit and I look forward to each one. Still the game is far from perfect with some linear scenarios only having one outcome in the end but I still look forward to replaying it and seeing some of the things I missed on my first playthrough.

    What an incredible game. I have never played a game with such an engrossing story. What makes it special is how I feel involved in the story unfolding.

    Brave to the team that made this game. It really feels like they planted a flag in what interactive story can be today.

    A narrativa beira a perfeição, e os gráficos estão fantásticos, tanto no PS4 normal quanto no PRO. A história está simplesmente sensacional, e cada decisão realmente acrescenta algo ao seguimento. Só retirei um ponto da minha nota, pois em alguns poucos momentos os personagens eram difíceis de controlar com a câmera girando automaticamente. Mas isso não estraga o jogo em nada!

    I can't believe this people that are giving a score bellow 6/10. This is a fantastic game with a fantastic story that move you! It's more like a movie than a game, yes. Of course. You should know that already before playing the game. But I love story, and this games has it! Really great character growth and soundtrack. 10/10!!! Just one more AMAZING PLAYSTATION EXCLUSIVE!!

    Detroit: Become Human delivers a story with a ton of possible choices, and a lot of questions for a player to bear afterward. If you like it when games make you think about them after you play them, this is the game for you. Stunning visuals and music score, make you forget about some weaker points of the game. But all in all, it is an enjoyable experience you should not miss.

    Detroit: Become Human looks and sounds great, and includes key player choices throughout, though it could have benefited greatly from a tighter script. While it’s commendable that Quantic Dream tried to cover hot-button issues in a big-budget video game, it works better when focused on the personal character moments than the bigger themes that don’t dig deep enough to make a meaningful impact.

    Although the narrative is fairly linear, there are enough branching paths over the course of the game to make it feel like your actions matter. That allows Detroit to still be fun even on multiple playthroughs – and for an interactive movie, that’s a rare praise. [Issue#231, p.68]
