    The game is fun and the graphics are something to behold, however its drawn back by clunky gameplay and far too long cutscenes that ruin the flow of the game.

    Wow, amazing experience!!! The storytaling is amazing, it's so calm, and it is an enjoyment to play this game after a hard day! The songs and sound in this game are one of the best in the industry! Low Roar songs fit into the gameplay very well! The graphics and optimisation are amazing, my ps4 slim makes no noize! There are some small bugs, but they don't make the gameplay worse. So, ifWow, amazing experience!!! The storytaling is amazing, it's so calm, and it is an enjoyment to play this game after a hard day! The songs and sound in this game are one of the best in the industry!     A boring, not an interesting game. Tedious walking that exhausts. It is very funny how a hero hides in the grass with a load, but no one sees him. Monotonous tasks, desert landscape. Music for an amateur.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Part of the fun is in the journey and I personally loved the story.. I have never played any Kojima games and this was my first and I honestly loved it.. though the idea is pretty simple that he’s a delivery porter,connecting the cities was the amazing part... I personally loved it and I cried at the end when we get to know that he too was a BB at one point... I would love to see what more content Kojima would add to this game and I loved the concept... good going Kojima!!… Expand

    this game is amazing, a masterpiece in my eyes , BUT if you're looking for a game to just pick up a gun and kill thousand enemies through a cliche storyline...definitely not your game...this game requires some deep thinking and a open mind...you don't like it, its ok...but call it garbage? then i think your parents failed to teach you manner

    II love this game. A master-crafted narrative story, top of the line acting, excellent music/score, and slow and addictive gameplay loop. The game does take some time to pick up. YOU HAVE TO GET PAST CHAPTER 3. The game picks up A LOT after CH 3 and introduces you to new lethal weapons. If you do not get past CH 3, the game will feel very slow. People who love the old Evangelion anime andII love this game. A master-crafted narrative story, top of the line acting, excellent music/score, and slow and addictive gameplay loop. If you do not get past CH 3, the game will feel very slow. People who love the old Evangelion anime and The End of Evangelion movie, are gonna love this. The ending of this game takes A LOT FROM EVANGELION.

    This game is not for everyone, it is definitely an acquired taste. If you are willing to spend time to get past CH3 to experience this masterpiece of a story, then you are going to love it!!

    El juego me lo pase en este mes de sequia de febrero ,y es un juegazo ,viciante como pocos con toques de supervivencia muy conseguido y una historia y mundo muy envolventes ,y la musica un graficos un 10 y historia y final sorprendete me sacare el platino :)

    A new well-designed world and contain very interesting mini-stories. Hollywood stars has very good perform. You'll want to finish this game even you don't like it. If you hear Sam's story, you really want to how it is end.

    This is mature game that is not for everyone. Skip the garbage zero rating reviews as they really don't understand what is happening. The soundtrack, depth, and experience got me right away. If you want fast past COD type action skip this game!! I bought it on sale and cannot seem to put it down. Its and experience that has me hooked. The music is incredible.     This game was the best experience i'd had in a long time. It's simply beautiful. Obviously it's not for everyone, but in my opinion the people who post negativity about it probably didn't give it a proper chance. Sure, the menus could have used some more work and the pace could have been a little smoother, but such things doesn't matter at all when looking at the big picture.

    The story is wonderful and the ending made me cry my eyes out, which is something that doesn't happen often for me with video games.

    Not a game for everyone, but absolutely hooked me. Loved everything from start to finish. The BT encounters are very high stress & really impactful. Story is enjoyable. It’s very easy to get wrapped up in the world of Death Stranding and enjoy all the details and focus on the little things. I have been binge playing it non stop & don’t plan on stopping even after completing the main story

В итоге же получился какой-то бред. Симулятор ходьбы. Ещё не хватало сделать персонажа бессмертным, чтобы он был ещё и самым казуальным на рынке."Гениальная, прорывная, иновационная, захватывающая и богоподобная игра!" Во всяком случае нам так обещали. If you wish to game an action game, a horror, or anything that falls under a genre way then this game is not for you. Well this game is right up your aisle. However, if your an action type or a quick enjoy type of person, which sadly is pretty much all of America and most of these negative reviews. If you have a soul you will feel almost every emotion throughout the game... I literally cried for an hour straight at some scenes.     It's so worth it to stick it out to the end. I loved being able to help others also playing the game. The story was amazing and I loved the ending!

    Although the gameplay loop can be exhausting, the thrilling and gripping plot kept bringing me back in and once you get used to it you start having a lot of fun.

    Es un juego nuevo, muy original que hace la diferencia entre los demás. hideo kojima hizo de este un buen juego, entretenido, uniendo y divirtiendo a la Comunidad haciendo equipo para poder cumplir con los objetivos. un estilo RPG y acción acompañado de un sistema de construcción, mensionando que también disponemos de vehículos. un apartado gráfico excelente con un hermoso paisaje yEs un juego nuevo, muy original que hace la diferencia entre los demás. hideo kojima hizo de este un buen juego, entretenido, uniendo y divirtiendo a la Comunidad haciendo equipo para poder cumplir con los objetivos. un estilo RPG y acción acompañado de un sistema de construcción, mensionando que también disponemos de vehículos. un apartado gráfico excelente con un hermoso paisaje y increíbles enemigos.     First of all, I want to say that Hideo Kojima nailed it with the graphics and visual representation, as well with the casting, (Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus, Guillermo del Toro..). However, casting alone doesn't make a game the best. The first time I saw the trailer, I was sold; especially since I was still mad at Konami for the Kojima thing.
    But, now that I played it, I don't know what    First of all, I want to say that Hideo Kojima nailed it with the graphics and visual representation, as well with the casting, (Mads Mikkelsen, Norman Reedus, Guillermo del Toro..). However, casting alone doesn't make a game the best. The first time I saw the trailer, I was sold; especially since I was still mad at Konami for the Kojima thing.
    But, now that I played it, I don't know what to say. And not really in the good way. Right off the bat, the structure of the game is 50% cutscenes, 40% walking around, and 10% good parts.
    The writing is confusing, sprawling and really, really confusing sometimes. The walking... I don't even know.
    Death Stranding strives to be better than Metal Gear in every way but fails on multiple aspects. It would've worked better as a 3 hour movie, rather than a game.
    It really disappointed me, especially the "Princess Beach" joke.
    I really wanted to love it, but I feel like the rating it deserves for now is 2.

    Oop, I forgot about the games Konami put out after firing Kojima, which adds another 3 to death stranding, a heaven compared to Metal Gear Survive.    … Expand

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it. [Issue#299]

    This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
