    I think this game is game its really amazing. Something different finally! Yes its little walking simulator but fun one. The story is amazing and graphic too. People who give this game 0/10 is just trolls.

    Currently at Episode 2. Having a blast!! Enjoying the game so far, The "Online Function" is really good felt connected to other players!! also the cutscenes are super good!!!!!

    Played for 10 hours. The task was too complicated and complicated. There weren’t too many changes. The battle was also very monotonous. The delivery process was too long and affected the game rhythm

    This isn't MGS and you need to go in realising that. This is something new and something groundbreaking. You feel isolated, alone, scared but also there's a sense of togetherness, hope and happiness.

    I wanted to love this game but unfortunately this is the most boring game I ever played . I did get it at GameStop so thank God I can return it. For those who love this game please seek help.

    This is a fascinating game. The opening is emaculet and the world is a marvel to behold. The gameplay is unconventional, yes but intentionally this way. Sam is no Nathan Drake, or Lara. He's a guy with a job and he gets the job done. In games we are so used to focus on the objective markers that we miss the journey.     will set real score after playing. Right now it is just fix for 0 bombers who probably didn't play ( probably yes - but 0? 0 means it is unplayable permanent bug without music and sound and has terrible graphics).

    Скучно и долго. Все механики не работают как надо, гаджеты и машины не нужны от слова совсем. Открытый мир - обман, тут просто много коридоров разделённых непроходимыми горами. Пройти миссии альтернативным путём - невозможно. Все события ( а тут всего один тип событий : дождь и призраки) происходят в одних и тех же локациях и заранее заскриптованы( начинаются когда берёшь сюжетную миссию)Скучно и долго.     Ah the review bombers are here. I bought the most expensive edition digitally and so far I'm getting my moneys worth of it. I didn't have very high expectations for the game so maybe that's why I'm enjoying it so much. The horror/creep factor is indeed there and it's a interesting setting. Hoping the story is as good as the atmosphere.

    Loving this game so much! Very fresh and original. Been waiting a long time for something new to come along. I understand it’s not for the typical gamer who wants to gun things down. But it’s certainly for gamers who want to experience something unique that the industry is afraid to make.

    The game is absolutely beautiful with an incredible, if slightly pretentious story. It amazes me that so many gave this a 0, even with some of its problems. Yes, the controls aren’t intuitive and the gameplay isn’t a nonstop power trip like in other games, but the gameplay works (as far as I’ve played at least) very well to give you a sense of powerlessness in the huge open world.     Don't be influenced by IGN and Gamespot ratings, they're just filled with hopeless SJWs who don't seek the value of story-telling or gameplay, they're just looking for a political angle in every game.

On top of that we got very bad writting, that can turn all important moments in a cringefest, i'm not sure whether it's bad translation or exact intend of Kojima. We get ourselfs some one dimensional side characters with such a creative names such as Deadman, Mama and Fragile which if anything sound like a names for bots in multiplayer games. And yes their names do hint their motivations. What? You thought the characters will have real names or at least misleading nicknames? Too bad, this game was only made to look intelligent, but in reality it's pretty straight foward with it's ideas and intents to the point of explaining us everything before the said things are even properly introduced to us, we don't get time to learn about the characters, we already know everything we need to know about them, making any interactions with them look trivial.
    Of course critics will give it high scores, most of them are already well paid by the creator and those who got confused by the plot will simply give it high rating to make sure community isn't pissed off and doesn't want them be fired or something(example: several years ago some reviewer gave GTA V 9/10 and fanboys wanted that reviewer to be fired good times really...)
    Gameplay wise it's very weak, repetive almost identical missions, any obstacles encountered in the game are way too easy to avoid and defeat, making presence of BT's and Mules look pointless. The world of the game is an empty void.
    Graphically looks a lot better then loads of crap that was Days Gone but it's not saying much or anything for that matter, it looks alright at best and painfully medicore at worst with reused environment. The game was promising with Kojima's first attempt to make video game on his own, but it feels like Kojima just surrounded himself with yes-man and ignored every single flaw of the game, he even went so far to call it a new genre while in reality it's just another linear sandbox game.
    Video games can be an art but they should be cohesive as games before anything else, otherwise we'll be getting vanity projects with out any substence.    … Expand

    I can recognize that this game isn't for everyone, but not every game has to be a Last Of Us or God of War to be a great expirence. Yes, Death Stranding is lacking in the gameplay side of things and that cannot be ignored. But I think that the world that Hideo Kojima has created here is one full of intrigue and wonderfully intresting concepts.

    He jugado unas cuantas horas y me está pareciendo un juego muy muy especial. Para amantes de los juegos que se toman su tiempo, caminar con Sam y sentir ese desasosiego asfixiante, el cansancio en tus hombros, el peso de la carga que transportas y de la historia... Es único.

    No haced caso a los haters que puntúan sin jugar. Es un juego único.

    The game is really meditative and you can get really creative in the way you play it. This is something different from the rest and it stands out. The gameplay elements and the story go very deep!

    I gotta say, Kojima never fails to impress. I loved the meditative immersiveness of this game, and the unpredictability of the plot. When so many games are just me-too arena shooters or generic 3rd world parkour sandboxes, I give him enormous credit for trying something new and groundbreaking.

    Honestly, the repetitive answers and hatred I see about this game make me embarrassed by such childishness and disrespect. Kojima never hid the true purpose of the game, made it clear in the several hours of the game before release. Games are not just war, fighting and shooting.

    Was hoping it was good, this just proves Kojima needs reigning in by a studio. It’s boring and monotonous. Do not buy this unless you literally want a walking, balancing simulator. Only fanboys are bigging this up. Definitely not worth the money. Graphics are good though.

Shake the fetus a bit etc. I didnt find anything in the game wofth getting excited about, everything Kojima showed in the trailefsI really had high hopes for Death Stranding along with many other people, I bought into the hype when Kojima showed the gameplay but I thought that there was more to the game besides the monotonous walking around, interact occasionally with x in the evironment. The game is slow, but it's interesting fun. Slow paced =/= boring. That's like saying a drama movie can't be good just because it doesn't have action scenes, don't be ridiculous. Also it does have action moments, I haven't reached many but so far I've experienced fast and tense situations which contrast great with the slow paced walking you spent most of the time doing.

    All in all, so far a great experience, but I can get how it can be divisive amongst a large audience.

    What I can't get is why people are hating on Kojima and just rating negative for the sake of it. Don't be so childish.    … Expand

    This game has been out for like 10 hours, it takes 40-80 hours to complete, it apparently opens up considerably in like 10 hours... and these people are already "reviewing" it with zeros.     Definitely not for everyone as most of the current games are Fps and are fast paced....this is a slow game that requires a lot of patience and calmness and most of the people lack those 2 traits

The graphics are absolutely stunning and the world is very captivating. I can see how some may not find this game enjoyable if you like action heavy games or games with little story and hate cutscenes. Cutscenes can be long but I have enjoyed every minute of them. My only criticism so far is that the Interface can be a bit clunky and overwhelming but once you get used to it it’s not so bad. If you like kojima games or looking for a unique game to play with a great story this is for you . If you only play games like Apex or COD you will probably hate this.… Expand

    Death Stranding is a unique game, it’s not for everyone because it’s a navigation game, not an exploration game. Kojima didn’t let go MGS because of the stealth sections and the supernatural enemies, his critic on how society is breaking apart and needs to be reconnected might no get everyone but it’s there.

    The controls are alright, but not revolutionary. It feels similar to Metal Gear Solid V. The story itself is also quite bland and convoluted. The dialogue is quite abysmal in some sections, but I'll keep it spoiler free. I'd rather not play a game where the mechanics are half of the selling point. Giving this score so early is perhaps too high.

    Yes it’s a walking game, on paper that sounds like a bad concept, but somehow the mechanics and the world you’re in keep you going and let’s face it Kojima is a bit on the bonkers side.

    I’d imagine that if AC Odyssey had a more developed system of getting around instead of holding a button to climb everything, this style of ‘walking mechanics’ would have been far better received and that’s ultimately what’s holding Death Stranding back from main stream praise, the delivery of boxes ideally need to be broken up with different activities.

    Here’s hoping that any Death Stranding sequel builds upon this formula and adds more (a lot more) different gameplay mechanics around this frankly awesome idea.

    The story is interesting and engaging, the gameplay is fun and relaxing, I really enjoyed the experience and was really excited to see each turn the story provided. It was great, especially the hades segments

    Deeply compelling sense narrative with survival horror elements. DS is an experience that stays with you long after you've put the controller down. It's a visually stunning game but here it truly succeeds is through it's dark mysterious narrative. Highly recommend the experience.

    I've always found Kojima led games hit or miss, for example I wasn't big into MGSV, but Death Stranding is an interesting take, it's a slow burn so if your more into short games then this ain't for you

    This game is beautifully made and well done. For me, its exciting and a fresh new way to play. The pacing isgood for those who are PATIENT. And I am in love with the story. It is unusually reminiscient of Silent Hills with its twisty and almost horror like story! I hope people learn to recconect and not just review bomb a genuinely good game and a work of art. Kojima has done great.

    Personally I liked the game. Its a beautiful and intriguing game made for those type of gamers who tries to inspect and absorb each and every detail of games and long for 100 completion rate. The story is confusing at first but more you get into it and actively try to explore the game instead of receiving everything in a plate in front of you ready to be consumed. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
