    This is truly a unique game. Never seen anything like it. Stunningly beautiful, beautifully acted with and intriguing story. It's my kind of narrative and I understand it might not for everyone. I usually like shooters but sometimes a change is good too, and oh boy, the gameplay IS a change. Didn't know walking is that challenging. This is worth the full price in my opinion.

    This is the type of game that you wouldn't get unless you've played it, it's not streamer friendly. It's not a flashy fps like destiny, obviously if you only like flashy fps games or games like fortnite you would hate this game, but for people searching for games to be more engaging and storydriven in a way so they can deliver a message and be considered "art" this game is perfect.     Mucha gente no ha sabido valorar este videojuego porque no se han fijado en sus aspectos mas fuertes, solo se han fijado en aspectos como la jugabilidad en momentos de acción y no se han fijado en su calidad en las cinemáticas.     Spectacular graphics but very slow start, too many cinematographies, you never get hooked, you sleep before.
    And I still commissioned the collectors edition thinking that this game was going to be wonderful. Wait for this game in offer or watch gameplays, it's too boring!

    To be honest I have always like kojima games but this one is different there is so much walking to do, the world feels empty, its like doing secondary missions all the time the story is a mess also, I am really dissapointed at this game as a fan of Hideo Kojima. In the end its a really boring game.

    If this game didn't have the Kojima brand slapped into it, it would be just as good as the Quiet Man.It's boring, repetitive and the themes it touches are so basic yet it tries to act like it's something bigger than that.     I enjoy playing very much.But this is not the case for everyone. So you can sympathize with this negative review.It ’s just my opinion.
    Specifically, the restriction on walking has also restricted the game, which I enjoyed.

    This game is truly AMAZING! It's not for everyone but if u like it you're in for a treat :) This game DOESN'T deserve a zero like some haters r scoring it, even if u don't like it, it shouldn't have a score as low as a zero! THAT'S NONSENSE!

    It is a game about union. Something that's missing in this sickly gamer environment.     Played for 4 hours last night, woke up immediately wanting to get started again - if it's a walking sim, it's a pretty damn sexy one with an amazing 'feel', both artistically and in player movement.

    Kojima should've stayed with konami. The game is beautiful but you can clearly tell that konami carried the metal gear series. Pointless cut scenes and very very lack luster gameplay. Metal gear survive was 10 times more fun than this. Don't waste 60 bucks in this. You'd be better off paying 10 bucks.

    I think it's GOTY for me, beautiful game, good actors perfomance, so many interesting features. I'm a fan of soulsborne multiplayer, and here there is something similar but different, the idea of Kohima about ropes is really working, we build new world together with other players, helping each other. That's great!

    El juego es sumamente aburrido, no representa un reto y menos es rejugable....demasidas cinematicas..(en eso me recordo al THE ORDER 1886)...porque en cuanto a gameplay eso de llevar encargos le da razón a los de los memes ya que parece un simulador para quienes trabajan en apps como rappi o glovo.....muy "A HIDEO KOJIMA GAME" Y todo pero es un fail. Solo a los fans de kojima les va a gustar ...

    Llevo 10 horas de juego, caminando por escenarios vacios, llevando paquetes del punto A al punto B, sin más. Buenos gráficos y música, algún que otro detalle interesante, pero lo más aburrido que jugué en mi vida, cero desafío ni en el modo difícil.

    Lo que veo es demasiada gente echándole pestes a un juego por no tener combates, por no tener la suficiente acción, etc. Pero creo que a estas críticas no deberías de hacerle mucho caso, y te explico porqué: ESTE JUEGO NO ES PARA    (ATENCIÓN, ANÁLISIS EN PROCESO) No puedo decir que el juego sea de 10 sin terminarlo, pero mis impresiones por ahora son de 10, dicho esto, al asunto que vamos.
    Lo que veo es demasiada gente echándole pestes a un juego por no tener combates, por no tener la suficiente acción, etc. Pero creo que a estas críticas no deberías de hacerle mucho caso, y te explico porqué: ESTE JUEGO NO ES PARA TODO EL MUNDO, Y TAMPOCO PRETENDE SER UN JUEGO DE ACCIÓN.
    El ritmo lento y la "monotonia" es la tónica del juego, pero que esto no te engañe como un punto negativo, aunque habrá gente que así lo vea (Porque repito, no es un juego de acción ni para todo pichi) Aquí realmente está la miga del juego y donde realmente es fresco, y no encontrarás nada igual en cuanto a gameplay. El juego transmite tranquilidad por cada uno de los poros, si eres el tipo de jugador que se jugó Journey y le encantó la experiencia, Death Stranding te va a enamorar, si eres el tipo de jugador que le gusta probar y experimentar con nuevas mecánicas, te va a gustar, y si eres una persona que sólo juega a Shooters y juegos en los que se transmite la sensación de recompensa rápida, lo vas a odiar con todas tus fuerzas. Yo no me canso de andar y observar unos paisajes dignos de un portento gráfico apabullante, de conectar con otras personas y ayudarnos unos a otros a completar este viaje y no, no me resulta repetitivo en absoluto y sólo por una razón: Lo disfruto. Es un juego que desde mi punto de vista es inviable que te parezca divertido al verlo en Streaming, pero que una vez coges los mandos te transporta directamente a su mundo y te hace pensar y meditar sobre el mismo. No te creas lo que digan los análisis negativos, ni tampoco los positivos como el mío, sólo quien lo prueba y realmente entiende que es una experiencia nueva puede dar su opinión, ya sea negativa o positiva, ambas totalmente respetables. Por ahora, me toca continuar mi viaje y al final de este volveré por aquí a dar mi veredicto final.    … Expand

    Si sufres de insomnio, este es tu juego, gameplay aburrido y protagonista sin carisma, paisajes vacíos y jefes finales olvida les doy un dos sólo por la historia. No gastes tu dinero en esta película interactiva. Por cierto, verás más cinemáticas que el tiempo que pasarás frente al control

    This game is just amazing. Everything is awesome, good to look and balanced. The gameplay is “always” the same but is pretty funny because you have full control on own your actions. The storie is beautiful and stunning. Reedus, and other actors, are amazing, also the BB (your baby). Every time you reconnect the America, the gameplay change and different form the past thanks to your actionsThis game is just amazing. Everything is awesome, good to look and balanced.     O jogo tem um início arrastado, onde foca em contextualizar o jogador na história e na gameplay. Mas depois embala e se torna uma das maiores e mais surpreendentes experiências, em especial por conta da história. Os gráficos, trilha sonora e sonoplastia são impecáveis . Recomendo.

    Kojima has surely made a game that he really wanted to make for a long time, and it shows. DS is surely not a game for everyone, but it dosen't mean it has no place in the gaming world. Yes, it is a walking simulator, but a good one at that. Graphics are one of the best this year has to offer, actors played their part perfectly and the story is simple yet engaging.     The game also has quite a lot of fast and exciting action parts later in the game, it takes time to get there but when it does it's really exciting and breathtaking. at the beginning the game feels empty at first because of the story, and it gradually becomes more and more lively the more players cooperate and build the game world, the ideas that this game has like players all working together to rebuild everything is something i've never seen in any other game before it's just genius game design.

    Nunca he visto un juego con un apartado técnico tan pulido como Death Stranding, visualmente es exquisito y con pequeños detalles que muestran el amor de los desarrolladores por este juego. La banda sonora es memorable sin duda alguna y encaja perfecto para este título.
    El apartado del sonido del viento, hojas y efectos de agua, lluvia, pasos, entre otros le da vida a un mundo complejo y    Nunca he visto un juego con un apartado técnico tan pulido como Death Stranding, visualmente es exquisito y con pequeños detalles que muestran el amor de los desarrolladores por este juego. La banda sonora es memorable sin duda alguna y encaja perfecto para este título.
    El apartado del sonido del viento, hojas y efectos de agua, lluvia, pasos, entre otros le da vida a un mundo complejo y misterioso. Todo lo técnico en este juego es superior y acompaña a una historia muy profunda y reflexiva que es sin duda la parte central del juego.

    Sin embargo, el gameplay aunque complementa bien con la temática del juego, no es lo suficientemente variada, y muchas veces nos vemos obligados a realizar misiones repetitivas y monótonas con tal de revelar el misterio que ha caído en está América apocalíptica, para empeorarlo, el juego está lleno de mecánicas que podrían encontrar en juegos FPS, RPG, simulación, conducción, estrategia e incluso de survival terror, pero se sienten incompletas y no son aprovechadas al 100%. La historia brillante debería ser el complemento del gameplay bien pulido en un videojuego, no al revés, y esto es lo que convierte a Death Stranding en una pélicula interactiva.

    El género "Strand" que Hideo quiere implementar sin duda es algo interesante, muchas veces hemos visto al online o multiplayer en el principal enemigo de campañas en solitario o un jugador, él quiere incluir esto en su historia y también beneficia mucho a la historia. A diferencia del cooperativo, un segundo jugador no interviene directamente, como en una red social, comentando, guiando o dejando su marca en partes del mapa para varios jugadores que pueden apoyar (dar like) a sus acciones. No obstante, un juego no puedo construirse al rededor de esta idea y mas bien queda como una mecánica extra durante el viaje.
    Este juego a dividido a toda la comunidad de videojuegos y es algo positivo que la industria se atreva a realizar juegos diferentes, que innoven mecánicas y sobre todo incluyan contenido completo y de calidad como Kojima Productions ha hecho. Este juego muestra que no se debe comprar un juego por el "HYPE", debemos saber lo que compramos y no guiarnos solamente por la prensa que muchas veces es cómplice en alabar un título.

    Este juego no es para todos, lo narrativo y lo visual es la obra maestra, si buscas aventura y variedad pues no lo aconsejo. Mi nota es dividida, pero considero al juego un gran mensaje positivo para la industria actual de videojuegos.    … Expand

    Just 5hrs in and I love it. Visuals are amazing, from technical point of view its a masterpiece. Gameplay wise? Well, if you're not into shoot & loot games all the time, and you appreciate a relaxing experience I think it's a game for you (also you need some capacity for all the Kojimasness - which i personally really like). First song in the game is called 'Don't Be So Serious' and iJust 5hrs in and I love it. Visuals are amazing, from technical point of view its a masterpiece. Gameplay wise? Well, if you're not into shoot & loot games all the time, and you appreciate a relaxing experience I think it's a game for you (also you need some capacity for all the Kojimasness - which i personally really like).     llevo jugando desde ayer, y la verdad es que estaba emocionado por tenerlo en mis manos, no quise escuchar a los hater sobre el juego, y al final, desgraciadamente, tenian razon, es un juego de andar, no hay mas, llevare 6 horas y me esta pareciendo muuuuy aburrido, el unico aliciente de seguir jugando es conocer la hostoria, creo que hubiera preferido que kojima hubiera sacado el deathllevo jugando desde ayer, y la verdad es que estaba emocionado por tenerlo en mis manos, no quise escuchar a los hater sobre el juego, y al final, desgraciadamente, tenian razon, es un juego de andar, no hay mas, llevare 6 horas y me esta pareciendo muuuuy aburrido, el unico aliciente de seguir jugando es conocer la hostoria, creo que hubiera preferido que kojima hubiera sacado el death stranding en formato serie,… Expand

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
