    Absolutely the best creation in a long time. Everything is refined and polished to maximum. Great story and very dark world. IMPRORTANT! GAME ONLY FOR HIGHER IQ. don't play it if you like call of duty or fortnite.

    The cinematography is superb for a game I mean they really nailed the 1rs.
    Such a beautiful cast ! Del toro,Wright, nic Refn, 3 directors on 1 project just to be part of the game.

    This game wants to be everything like Jack of all trades - a walking simulator, an action game, a story driven adventure, a building strategy, a delivery man sim, AAA movie and even Facebook. Yet it fails miserably practically in all of that and also commits the worst sin of video gaming - it is not fun but just tedious chore.     He de decir que el juego con el Decima Engine de Guerrilla se ve espectacular otra cosa que es verdad es que el juego al principio se hace un poco aburrido (me pasó algo similar con RDR 2) pero la historia te engancha de primeras parece que estas viendo una película la jugablidad no te acostumbras al principio pero como dijo Kojima el juego se empieza a hacer divertido a la mitad, laHe de decir que el juego con el Decima Engine de Guerrilla se ve espectacular otra cosa que es verdad es que el juego al principio se hace un poco aburrido (me pasó algo similar con RDR 2) pero la historia te engancha de primeras parece que estas viendo una película la jugablidad no te acostumbras al principio pero como dijo Kojima el juego se empieza a hacer divertido a la mitad, la personalización del personaje en la habitacion es bastante amplia es mas, te lo pasas mejor en la habitacion que fuera andando, el doblaje en Castellano es de lo mejor del juego como siempre PlayStation en temas de doblaje siempre lo hace genial y creo que esto es todo lo que voy a decir sobre el juego… Expand

He takes his time to make games that crossover into rhe movie realm his work is art and that of a masterpiece. The first hour of the game is breathtaking the cinematics and just how you play is amazing.     Okay, death stranding is addicting. I came in this as a hardcore skeptic. Never played the Metal Gear series. I decided to buy it at full price because I love the atmosphere and setting alone. It's hard to explain, but it feels fantastic setting up a ladder for somebody, or picking up lost cargo, it feels like we're all in this together. Even though you're alone. And seeing the stats afterOkay, death stranding is addicting. I came in this as a hardcore skeptic. Never played the Metal Gear series. The cut scenes are AMAZING and inspiring also. I heard critics call this a "walking simulator" and they couldn't be more wrong.     Disappointing truly. Beautiful games. The decima engine is incredible. But the bland A to B missions and awful gameplay mechanics ruin the experience. He couldn't decide to make either a film or a game.

    Few hours into the game so far and loving it. Logged into Metacritic out of curiosity to see how it's reviewing. Literally giving it a 10 since so many trolls are rating 0/10 (which no game this well-made deserves, regardless of whether it's your thing or not), obviously coming here with the intent of skewering the vote.

    Kojima really knows how to write a great and meaningful story, if you're looking for a relaxing game with a compelling story that keeps you wanting more and more every time you encounter it, check out this game. It's like a book that you just can't put down.

    The game is not for everyone.I personally enjoy the slow pace of the game,but the truth is even if the story is great (which i have to say,as far as i have played it is),someone that cannot stand the slow pace,will not give much attention because of their frustation with the game play.Also the characters backstories are not that deep if you are into that thing.

Игра очень медитативная, расслабляющая своим геймплеем и увлекающая сюжетом.     If you ever believed there was a god, then you must be mistaken. This game makes MGSV look and feel like MGS3. The endless grind of walking around and watching meaningless cutscene with characthers we don't even know. There is no connections between us and Sam bridget and his friends.     man.. i've been playing this for about 4 hours already and I gotta say, for a FedEx simulator, i'm having fun just discovering things, the exploration, the graphics, and music. All really good. I knew going into this that this game wasn't for everybody and I guess I'm one of the lucky ones having fun. It's a slow...slow.....sloooooooooooow burn. A type of game where I turn on a podcast andman.. i've been playing this for about 4 hours already and I gotta say, for a FedEx simulator, i'm having fun just discovering things, the exploration, the graphics, and music. All really good. I knew going into this that this game wasn't for everybody and I guess I'm one of the lucky ones having fun. It's a slow...slow.....sloooooooooooow burn. A type of game where I turn on a podcast and just go about my missions. The combat is a bit shallow and too far in between and during some side missions where the world seems empty, it REALLY feels like it. There's a **** of small details, there's no way i'll probably ever see them all.

    Currently playing on a regular PS4, digital version. Haven't ran into any crashes, weird bugs, or game breaking glitches. But im sure they are there. This game is too big NOT too have them.

But for the long drawn out story and in depth jaw dropping open world that makes you think about your route and plan ahead of time. This game is for you. I love story telling and in depth open world gaming. This game makes me thinkWhile the game might not be for everyone. It has an amazing story and very in-depth realistic gameplay. If you are a more fast paced gamer this isn’t for you. But for the long drawn out story and in depth jaw dropping open world that makes you think about your route and plan ahead of time.     I won't talk about gameplay because we can all agree this game isn't about it.
    But what got me shocked is the number of inconsistencies and lack of common sense in the story ! Almost as if the writers are making it ridiculous on purpose? Conveying some mystery to the players is good but throwing a bunch of different themes without any    A depressing, bland, dull, and bizarre experience.
    I won't talk about gameplay because we can all agree this game isn't about it.
    But what got me shocked is the number of inconsistencies and lack of common sense in the story ! Almost as if the writers are making it ridiculous on purpose? Conveying some mystery to the players is good but throwing a bunch of different themes without any correlation makes this game feels like a mishmash that doesn't stand on any solid ground ... from the scenery that looks nothing like America, the babies from unknown mothers used as mere tools to detect BTs, the nonexistent population of America that you are trying to "reconnect" together? The ridiculously heavy cargo on a back of a human, and why didn't they thought about using machinery for delivering (e.g drones) instead of risking rare humans in such deadly environment? And let's not even talk about all the paranormal events which the game never care to explain... My brain simply couldn't digest all the inconsistencies.    … Expand

    Tons of mechanics, which are very intuitive to control and working like clock. I was optimistic, but that exceeded all my best expectations. Gameplay loop is so engaging that you literally forget its core is walking. You just need to play it and feel it with your own two hands, because YouTube videos don’t convey even the 10% of its fun.

    DS has a great Story, an interesting gameplay and the best atmosphere of all video games. The Landscape is amazing and very photorealistic.

    I enjoyed the game a lot. Its like meditating and living the game. As kojima said this is a new genre and dont listen to the reviews, just play it. You might love it. But i can tell you will get an utmost satisfaction after completing the game and it will stay with you for years to come.

    If you play the game good you will enjoy it. If you play it bad you fall and you cant enjoy. I had read many reviews and most of them are saying the baby is crying and there is nothing but walking. What i say is baby cries when you play bad and there are multiple ways you can make your own path to complete a mission and after a Long stretch you feel the satisfaction if you played it well.
    Yes sometimes the gameplay gets repetitive but you will find peace in it and that repetitive ness will never stop you from playing it. Death stranding is a masterful creation where it stands on its own starting a gateway to new genre and stays with you for years to come!    … Expand

    Sur-vendu par la presse du jeu vidéo, et autres fan hardcord.
    Les MGS était bien, mais ça.. Juste non, beaucoup trop de défauts ou de mécanique inutile.

    Mention spécial : les menus sont HORRIBLE. (en 2019 retrouvé des menus si mal réalisé c'est non.)

    Comprei, juro que tentei pessoal, mas não dá não... Dropei 4 horas depois nesta madrugada.
    So os gráficos e as músicas salvam, de resto, um belo simulador de sono.
    Vou é tentar pedir reembolso, por que isso aqui não dá mesmo não, joguei mesmo meu dinheiro fora.

    Death Stranding is a repetitive game, the scenario is like low-budget nanar movies. Only 2 charismatic characters are the others to make pretty . The gameplay is always the same thing, delivered packages from point a to point b. The animation is worthy of a PS2 game. Only the mysterious side of the game is excellent.

    You spend a lot of time just navigating terrain, trying to ensure your packages remain intact. As you can see it's not for everyone, BORING is the big matching word in the reviews.     This game is so boring and repetitive. I stoped playing after the first 2 cutscenes. It feels empty and over the top. Just like all kojima games, kojima has again no clue how to properly develop a game. This "game" isnt a game. Its a movie.

    Espectacular! Las primeras horas son excepcionales, con una trama que explica poco a poco lo que va sucediendo, gameplay fresco y nuevo, música fenomenal y un apartado visual que se ve increíble.

    I was really hyped for this game but still it managed to surprise. It has beautiful graphics, excellent performances from All the actors, “Mads Mickelson” and “Tommy Earl Jenkins” we’re standout for me. and as sci-fi nerd, I loved the story. I have heard people complain about the gameplay but it was just right for me and I enjoyed the loop.

    Una experiencia fresca, aunque definitivamente no es para todo tipo de jugador, los momentos pausados y de calma que brinda por momentos cada viaje que realizamos para hacer las entregas son dignos de admirar y más aún cuando suena la música que es de una calidad excelente. La cantidad de detalles, objetos y alteraciones que produce el clima y el ambiente producen la sensación de estar enUna experiencia fresca, aunque definitivamente no es para todo tipo de jugador, los momentos pausados y de calma que brinda por momentos cada viaje que realizamos para hacer las entregas son dignos de admirar y más aún cuando suena la música que es de una calidad excelente. La cantidad de detalles, objetos y alteraciones que produce el clima y el ambiente producen la sensación de estar en un mundo vivo agregando claro la mecánica de los likes y aportes de otros jugadores de la red.
    El apartado gráfico es excelente y digno de admirar, aunque no debería ser una novedad viendo otros títulos como RDD2. Pero sin duda uno de los fuertes del juego a parte del excelente soundtrack, es el apartado narrativo, la historia de principio nos trata de involucrar en el contexto decadente y de supervivencia por el que atraviesa la humanidad, aunque en este aspecto es necesario recalcar el recurrente uso de cinemáticas largas para contar la historia que ciertamente tiende a volverse tedioso y genera un contraste con la jugabilidad que en mi opinión se aparta de la inmersión con esta, sobre todo en las 15 primeras horas de juego.
    El juego es recomendable si eres de los que disfrutan con la gestión de recursos y equipamiento, momentos de calma y excelentes paisajes, la historia no se queda atrás es de buen argumento y trama, aunque he de admitir que la jugabilidad, que por momentos es tediosa y repetitiva, junto a la narrativa no van muy de la mano quizás por eso es que se ha visto cierta polarización por parte de la crítica de usuarios.    … Expand

    Classic Hideo Kojima Game with easter eggs, story - gameplay is very unique - and overall graphics are AMAZING! BUY this game if you have ever played a Hideo Kojima Game, if not, you should make this your first! 10 out of 10 for sure! I love it. One of the best, if not THE BEST looking game I have ever played

    I do not like this game, too slow paced for my liking. Never thought i would be a delivery man. Game looks great but not fun to play. Would’ve been better as a movie than a game, played about 3 hours and i tried to keep going, kept pushing myself to like the game but couldn’t. This game won’t be for everyone, spend your money at your own risk, boredom might come along in your journey.

    It’s pretentious and boring. Hideo Kojima swears he’s some kind of genius all the while making the most boring game that consists of nothing but walking for 40 hours. There is NOTHING engaging about the gameplay and the writing is horrid. I just can’t stomach 20 more hours of this game.

    Es un juego muy repetitivo , su mapa es realmente repetitivo igualmente , no hay mucha diversidad en los escenarios siempre son los mismos , no hay acción ..prácticamente se trata de caminar de un punto a otro , muy tedioso y aburrido , para nada recomendable

    Kojima se preocupa tanto por la historia que no toma en cuenta la finalidad de un juego, entretener y presentar un reto..
    Mecánicas repetitivas, juego que no presenta ningún reto aún en difícil , mundo vacio Ir de un punto a otro quizá es la es entretenido para algunas personas pero no para mí. Cómo puntos positivos puedo decir que el juego está bien    Una película con aires de juego...

    It is the perfect example that a good (or at least interesting) story, an excellent soundtrack and good graphics do not matter at all if the game is completely BORED and meaningless.

    Es el ejemplo perfecto de que una buena (o al menos interesante) historia, un excelente soundtrack y unos buenos gráficos no importan para nada si el gameplay es completamente ABURRIDO y falto de sentido alguno.

    Técnicamente es espectacular, y la banda sonora como la historia excelentes, pero estamos analizando un videojuego, y en ese apartado de jugabilidad hay miles de juegos mejores, ni que decir de las misiones de ir de un punta A a un punto B, la verdad estoy muy decepcionado de Death Stranding como juego, no estan para nada a la altura de lo que ves en tu primera impresión.

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
