    Being interested in Kojima's separate career from Konami I followed with eager the development and periodical announcements of this game. Of course, as most of us, the story and gameplay intrigued me. I could not play the game after six months of its release and at the time I realized that there were divided opinions.
    At first, the game is routine and repetitive. Of course, as most of us, the story and gameplay intrigued me. I could not play the game after six months of its release and at the time I realized that there were divided opinions.
    At first, the game is routine and repetitive. You deliver, and deliver, and deliver. Yes, the landscape in which you traverse each mission is comparable to any Icelandic landscape you see in documentaries, so every delivery is an eyegasm. This part of the game is critical. If you decide that you are not into a delivery simulation gameplay you will throw away one of the most immersive and scientifically satisfying stories you can get in a video game (a remark: I'm not saying scientifically accurate).
    After a quarter to a third of the game-run, the routine starts to entangle the complexity of each mission and their relationship with the story of your character and the entire world. Each time you think you are getting the hang of the missions you get surprised by the increasing menaces (and weight) that's expecting you around the corner. Each time you think you understand the explaining behind the whole setting of Death Stranding you are amazed by each data you collect and the NPC share with you, changing your previous understanding (and perhaps, if you are open-minded, your idea of the real-life itself).
    If you are expecting a game based in action, stealth, and character customization (such as previous Hideo Kojima's MGS videogame saga) you will not find it in Death Stranding. Whereas if you are trying to find a revealing game, a "gamechanger", a "different" game, Death Stranding it is (a remark: the previous statement does not mean that the game lacks in action and stealth, it's just that it is not filled with them).
    In conclusion, nowadays there are tons of action-filled games (and good games, such as Horizon, Zelda BoTW, God of War, TLoU), Death Stranding is not one of them. Complex stories, the ones that leave you thinking over and over in the toilet and shower (such as Christopher Nolan's film Interstellar) are the ones we are lacking today, and not everyone are ready for it, less they are ready to play that story in a videogame.     This game deserves a better rate. If a trash game like The Last of Us Part 2 can score 10/10, then this game deserves 20/10, since TLOU2 is a rubbish filled political agenda. Kudos to Kojima!!!

    Muito bom e inovador, as mecânicas são bem originais onde você te a possibilidade de controlar até o equilíbrio dos personagens, sem contar as milhares de referências! A história é um pouco a parte muito bem desenvolvida e envolvente.

    Great game by Kojima Productions, i really love the history and the gameplay, is different but i put around 130 hours to get everything in the game (Platinum Throphy) .. really recommended game if you want to play something Different and get in love by the history and this world that Kojima Give to us !

    Exquisite it's the adjective I' ll apply to describe this unique and amazing game, I remember my first impact on the landscape, "Omg this is so beautiful", we have all in this experience, terror, drama, adventure, "the power of the porters community" only a few know what I'm talking about, and the path to the unknown, the soundtrack is also amazing. Its a must try/play game.

    I was never so excited when waiting for game release like for Death Stranding. I think I also had the most immersive experience of any games. Pre-ordered it for PS4 and then again on PC. Totally my GOTY.

    DS is an awesome game if its up your ally. Extremely unique and awesome story and gameplay - there is actually nothing like it. Story is a bit complex and makes u use ur mind which i enjoyed. Has an extremely powerful message as well.

    Ахуенна кадзима гений нахуй. Дали задание спиздить у МУЛов(злых чуваков) посылку. Я такой иду думал по стелсу спизжу. В итоге нахуй Ваня Пержаебальников бежит с посылкой от 12 мулов. Они меня ясен хуй догоняют и происходит оргия. Я просыпаюсь на помойке, в итоге нахуй иду опять пиздить эту посылку. Окей с горем пополам потратил я 30 минут спиздил ее и куча разных плюшек. Ребенок этот на груди кричит из за того, что я каждые две минуты об землю ебусь. В итоге дохожу уже до базы, уже метров 30 до пункта назначения И ЗНАЕТЕ ЧТО?     Es muy difícil describir este juego. La historia es una maravilla, los gráficos de lo mejor que se ha hecho hasta ahora y la banda sonora impresionante. Si te han dicho que trata sobre repartir paquetes en plan glovo, no les creas. Dale una oportunidad porque es una pasada.

    The game is hard to get in to but once you get the grasp of it the game will be amazing. I don't need to talk about the graphics, it's unlike any other game. The story is kinda confusing in the beginning but it is not hard to understand, fighting is pretty fun and you will get a good sense of progression.     Un juego lento, largo, repetitivo, con un combate mediocre pero con un mensaje muy bien trasmitido gracias a su componente online (el cual es el 80% del alma de la experiencia) y que cala en el jugador. Un juego que nos debe unir, ayudar, que nos dice que juntos somos mejores, más fuertes y estamos más preparados para superar los obstáculos.

    Поначалу мне было очень интригующе играть под саундретки и виды мира, но дальше после 2й главы началась рутинная работа без видео.     Очень впечатляющая игра. Получил огромное удовольствие от прохождения. Возможность быть простым курьером, в пост апокалипсическом мире, путешествую по пустым и бескрайним пустошам- это то что хочется после напряжённого дня.     Death Stranding is a sci-fi horror masterpiece! I wasn't blown away at first, except for the incredible sound and graphics, but so glad I persevered. Gameplay becomes far more enjoyable as your options unlock and it ultimately delivers one of the most emotionally charged story endings in gaming, thanks to spectacular character performances from the main cast and in particular Mads Mikkelsen.

Примерно 3-5 первых актов рили очень скучные, ведь там просто доставка, но вот последние 3-4 акта слишком нагружены сюжетом.Так, что в конце ты практически ничего не понимаешь, и тебе надо думать на тем, что происходит в игре. Многие,наверно, сочли бы это за минус, но для меня это плюс, ведь во время прохождения ты можешь анализировать абсолютно всю ситуацию и представлять как бы ТЫ сделал на месте Сэма. К сожалению многие игры сейчас просто ставят тебя перед "Смотри, это-хорошо, а это-плохо. Убивай плохое" Но эта же игра расставляет всё по полочкам, и ты можешь всё как и понять, так и не понять и обидеться на игру. Например я в своё время после прохождения на 100% гуглил какие-то непонятные аспекты сюжета, но как по мне это лишь добавляет шарма игре.… Expand

    I will tag along with all those that call this game a masterpiece. It is so worth spending 40-50h playing, and you wish it would last longer. The story is very intricate and the characters are so deep and well done, they're realistic.
    There is a sense of community and helpfulness that I've never experienced in other games. The soundtrack, the AMAZING grafics, the little details and the "slow pace" really makes you appreciate things- It made me think about how I connect to others and the ones I love.     Death stranding is a super game. It has a wonderful plot, each order becomes a small switch. Of course, at the beginning the game is so-so, but after a while when weapons and new buildings are opened it becomes one of the best games.

    Bought the PS4 version first and loved it so much I got the PC port as well.
    Kojima Productions gained a new fan and that's a feat. To me, this game is definitely the best title for PS4 and is a must-have!

    Recently played this game over at my bro's place and was mighty impressed. Ended up getting a copy for myself and my best buddy. Now' i'm looking forward to his impressions. Can't thank my brother enough for showing me this gem. Gonna hold onto this for as long as I can remember it—a soon-to-be classic.

    Jogo soberbo, obra prima, me fez voltar a jogar PS4 e sair do PC... O pessoal que deu nota ruim, não tem a capacidade de jogar algo incomum, original e único! São um bando de dementes presos nas mesmices de FPS, Hack and Slash ou MMOs... Kojima obrigado de coração por sua criacão

    Believe me, I was one of the haters of this game. Delivery guy, boring mechanics, boring experience, the story makes no sense, blablabla...
    I could not be more wrong. Easily one of the best games of my entire life.

    When I first saw Kojima's trailers for this game, I became really confused at what I was seeing. Having just played MGSV and have previously played MGS4, I was a fan of Kojima's work. In my opinion, death stranding is a game that is really more of an art piece that you have to squint in order to really get it. But once you get it, you can really stand and appreciate the absurdity and creativity behind Kojima's work. 10/10, not for people who are only into action, would definitely recommend.… Expand

    Amazing, this is what happens when an artist creates a game. I loved it, I would recommend for any adult gamer. I say adult, because this is not a mindless romp. One of the best games of the generation. Thank you Kojima.

    Gameplay : 8/10 ( didn't like vehicle movement)
    Graphics: 10/10 better than I expected.

    an AMAZING once in a lifetime game. will surely be remembered as a defining game of the ps4 era. a beautiful open world chalk full of things to explore and mules and terrorists to peacefully subdue. Mads and Troy do an excellent job in their roles. possibly the greatest story ever told in gaming. and of course BB is bestest baby.

    people who only like action are not gonna have fun with this one but to say it's bad and lazy is under cutting it so much. Great game ( if you like action get it when its 30$ and try to play the game without stealth )

    Tem uma jogabilidade muito boa, com diversos elementos realistas, como a questão do peso ou de caminhar sem botas, que machuca o pé. Bem divertido. Poderia somente ter mais confrontos com EPs.     A truly meaningful experience combined with a compelling soundtrack that moved me to seek an understanding of life I didn't realize was in front of me. This game has impacted me in ways I do not yet understand.
    Years from now, this game will still hold a place in my mind, my heart, and in the time spent bridging the world together, one delivery at a time.

    This game is very controversial. Some mechanics and parts of story are very strange, but it changed me. Hideo is a crazy genius. I'm happy to see guys like Hideo or Naughty Dog creating great stories, not games. I like games like Death Stranding, it makes you think, unlike assassin's creed, call of duty, or spiderman. It's not a game for everyone, it's a game for the elite.

    I never was a Kojima fanboy but this game clearly made me one. Despite many people claming about the boringness of this game, its slowness and calmness combined with great soundtrack and story made me absolutely love it.

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
