    If you enjoy Metal Gear Solid and a Animal Crossing (weird mix I know), you will love this game

    Best game i've ever played. There's a strong message of how our society is evolving, how we can help each others and how is important for the human kind to be connected in peace. So it's a game with a real soul, a game for those who don't just want to run and shoot.

    For me this is the second best game on PS4, directly after Horizon Zero Dawn. I really enjoyed playing it and couldn't wait to see how it ends.

    Of course the story is sometimes confusing, but it is a Kojima game, it must be confusing :) It is of course not a game for fans of straight forward Shooters like Call of Duty or Battlefield where you know after 3 minutes what you will do the    For me this is the second best game on PS4, directly after Horizon Zero Dawn. I really enjoyed playing it and couldn't wait to see how it ends.

    The hate surrounding Death stranding is fake, false, and is nothing but a bunch of idiots there complain about a game being the same every year but when death stranding which is a game that is very original very new and is very different comes out they complain about it. Death stranding is one of the most unique experiences I have ever played the best game of 2019

    One of the best games i have played this generation. the story is freaking amazing, the graphics are some of the best i have ever seen. and the soundtrack is great. and i loved the gameplay.

    Bold, comforting, simple and compelling. Those are the 4 words that defined my Death Stranding experience as a player. The message it carries and all its positivity in a death surrounded world are remarkably one of the most original setting I've seen in this generation. Kojima has yet again outdone himself. The entire cast felt convincing, the world, despite its emptiness and loneliness,Bold, comforting, simple and compelling. Those are the 4 words that defined my Death Stranding experience as a player. The message it carries and all its positivity in a death surrounded world are remarkably one of the most original setting I've seen in this generation. Kojima has yet again outdone himself. The entire cast felt convincing, the world, despite its emptiness and loneliness, feels comfortable, like lying under a blanket in a rainy day. I don't know if the game needed to exist or if it will create a genre but that's how art goes and as far as playing, I've experienced a 100% bug-free gameplay, with incredible animations, smooth and addicting gameplay and memorable set-pieces. For me Death Stranding is a 10/10 and my Game of the Year for 2019… Expand

Es una pena que haya gente que lo critique tan duramente, pues no es para catalogarlo    Una gran obra maestra en todos los sentidos. Gran historia, elementos y mecánicas muy interesantes, música excepcional, diseño gráfico espectacular, mundo abierto y entorno con dificultad.
    El poder interactuar con BB, con Sam, y con el medio es alucinante. Realmente estoy muy complacido con este juego. Es una pena que haya gente que lo critique tan duramente, pues no es para catalogarlo de tal manera. He jugado unas 405 horas, y me imagino que continuaré. Entiendo que haya gente que no les guste el juego, pero de ahí a insultarlo, odiarlo y hacer campaña para que no se lleve ningún premio es pasarse. Hoy día el público es tan crítico y tan ignorante, que no vería una obra maestra aunque lo tuvieran delante de la cara.
    Se ha llevado más de 90 premios a mejor juego del año, y espero que siga así.

    No sé si esta reseña valdrá para alguien, pero espero que el público de esta industria tan maravillosa que tenemos, dé una oportunidad no solo a juegos triples AAA sino también a Indies.     Я уже старый закаленный геймер, у которого за плечами 35 лет игрового стажа и несколько тысяч пройденных игр, меня уже ни чем не удивить... но тут... в конце игры у меня слезы текли ручьем...очень давно я не испытывал таких эмоций..     There are only two types of people that do not love this game: Those who have not completed the story and those who have no creativity. This game is art. To the “gamers” who solely love adrenaline giving games, do not rate this... it may just go over your head. For the rest of you, play this game. Appreciate the art and be inspired by it’s uniqueness. Rarely do games come out like this.

    Death stranding-один из лучших представителей игровой индустрии. Потрясающая графика, очень глубокий и затягивающий сюжет. Это довольно длительное путешествие, стирающее грань между кино и играми. В Death stranding мне очень понравилсягеймплей, игра моделировала множество различных ситуаций.     I'm so glad I didn't listen to the bad reviews or critics and bought this game. You have to try it yourself otherwise you'll never know, that is all I can say.

    Muy buen juego, inentendible para fanáticos de COD y cabezas cuadradas. Es evidente que el autor despierta mucha envidia y bronca pero eso no quita que el juego sea excelente. Prácticamente un nuevo género.

Но ведь так и есть, игру надо расценивать как очень качественный симулятор: планирование маршрута, распределение груза, качественная симуляция ходьбы, особенно по пересеченной местности, взаимодействие с другими игроками посредством построек и лайков - вот в чем главная фишка игры. ВсёКодзима смог придумать действительно нечно новое в игровой индустрии. "Симулятор курьера" шутили игроки. Но ведь так и есть, игру надо расценивать как очень качественный симулятор: планирование маршрута, распределение груза, качественная симуляция ходьбы, особенно по пересеченной местности, взаимодействие с другими игроками посредством построек и лайков - вот в чем главная фишка игры. Всё это приправлено прекрасным сюжетом в стиле Кодзимы, кинематографичными кат-сценами, великолепными саундтреками, и в целом ощущения спокойствия, медитативности (не всегда конечно, но в большей части времени). Из минусов я отмечу: физику транспорта, хоть иногда "залезать" на мотоцикле на скалы было и весело и необходимо; тупой ИИ МУЛов и террористов, хотя скрыться от них тяжело; несколько моментов игры, где надо было "играть в шутер", а стрельба не очень удобная, да и 30 фпс.
    Понимаю, почему многим не зашел геймплей, и он для них стал дико скучным, но это же не повод ставить очень низкие оценки. Игра ведь сделана очень качественно, лично меня она очень затянула именно своим необычным геймплеем, и я планирую выбить платину    … Expand

    I registered specifically here for this game. No it's not for everyone, but yes it's a masterpiece. Though it's not an action game, the immersion is awesome. I'm fascinated by it. Play online and you'll get surprises that I won't tell, but it's one of the best games I played. Kojima is a genius, period. Note that it takes few hours to start feeling rewarded, but yes it's worth playing it.

    Love this game ! Such an awesome opening ! The game is really a beautiful piece of art, incredible game design with such amazing music! Yes, you will have to walk many and many miles but the story is such epic! Don't hesitate and play on this treasure! Video games aren't only like Cal of duty and others like that... Appreciate it!

    Este juego, o lo odias, o lo amas. Me encuentro en el segundo grupo. No es el tipo de juego para todo el mundo, pero si lo que te gusta es difrutar de los graficos, del sonido, de la historia, este juego te tedra pegado a la pantalla por horas. Es como escuchar rock o chill out, hay momentos para todo.

    You know, I liked this game so much, I don’t understand why people call it a “walking sim” or they saying that there is no gameplay in Death Stranding or: “all you have to do is walk from point A, to point B. Mules: without any cargo the just wouldn’t care about you, but if you have any they’ll try to steal or break It.Like they’re will hitting you with sticks, that’s cause damage on your cargo, or when they hitting you with stick, you can fall, and when you fall, your cargo damages, and Mules can steal your cargo with they’re weapons.You actually won’t need to fight with mules, you’re just need to run away, than larger your cargo, than harder to run away from them. BT’s: when they’ll catch you, they’re shoot down the top of your cargo, then they hit you on the ground, then call a giant BT.Most of giant BT attack knock you down, when you’re knocking down your cargo damages, and it can eat you and cause void out, and void out, will discourage you, to get your way.     People tried to trivialize it in numerous ways and come up with shallow excuses why it would be "bad", but MAN! Give either one of these games a honest shot , and you are definitely in for a ride you won't anticipate! The gameplay is unique and may feel overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be    One word: WOW! Playing Death Stranding reminded me of Nier:Automata.

    No sé pude juzgar al juego habiéndo jugado el 5% de el, porque ese % no es ni 10hs de juego, todo un reto, salir a ver cómo vas a lograr llegar de un punto a otro es lo que motiva y lo hace adictivo, detalles mínimos por doquier, 100% cuidado.

    Death Stranding is an amazing game as it breaks away from alot of traditional games that said if you like traditional game genres such as FPS's or TPS's this game will probaly not suit you as it is more of a roadtrip , a long slow one at that.

    The cream of the game is it's story , it is probaly the best in my time playing games , it has amazing characters and their actor's deliever a    Death Stranding is an amazing game as it breaks away from alot of traditional games that said if you like traditional game genres such as FPS's or TPS's this game will probaly not suit you as it is more of a roadtrip , a long slow one at that.

    The cream of the game is it's story , it is probaly the best in my time playing games , it has amazing characters and their actor's deliever a dialouge which is on a league of its own.

    But of course what is story if there is no gameplay to to experince it?
    Death Stranding's main gameplay is travesing a long barren landscape which is encapusulated by rivers , folliage , enemy camps , preppers and of course player structures. In death stranding the mechanic the keeps me coming back is the ever-changing player world , filled with bridges , ziplines and PCC's which all change the flow of the gameplay.

    That said the Game suffers from a few fatal problems.

    1) The combat is clunky and can really frustrate at times

    2) The game , especially if you play it now is kinda of easy due to all the player structures

    3) The Bosses are all defeated using the same strat

    As you can tell the fatal problem of Death stranding is it's combat which is clunky that said it is fun after all the gadgets you get but early on it can be annoying.

    Don't Rush Death Stranding and don't abandon it after a few hours of playing it is a slow burn you will truly experence this game after you complete it.

    This is next-gen open world type game, the map asynchronous with other users, without their help I can't completed my zipline network. You are alone in the game but you are not alone. And more⋯ beautiful story, graphic and music all together made this game shine. This is my GOTY 2019.

    Rare type of game. Very good. Последняя игра, которая меня так же захватила, была Diablo.
    В своём роде, death stranding - уникальна и стоит того, чтоб ее пройти. Но она явно, не для каждого.

    Bought this game as I really like Norman Reedus as an actor. I invested 115 hours into it (got all the trophies). Loved it from beginning till the very end of it. @Hideo Kojima you have created a masterpiece I will never forget. Thank you :-)

The story and soundtrack Literally take you to another plane of existence. If you like dystopian settings and are a Sci fi fan then this is the game for you. One of my favourite moments is every time Sam comes out of a private room, the camera effect takes meSimply fantastic. Takes a while getting addicted to it (Only after Lake Knot City for me) but when you do you won’t be able to stop. The story and soundtrack Literally take you to another plane of existence. If you like dystopian settings and are a Sci fi fan then this is the game for you.     Played this game all the way through and i can see how the new ideas for the game put people off but it is about the experience of Sam’s journey and how he adapts throughout the story. It is an incredible game from start to finish and the ending is something I have never seen before and simply blew me away.

    Tiene un gameplay muy bueno y intretenido, sobretodo adictivo. Pero lo que brilla en esta obra es su magnifica y unica historia. Los personajes son memorables y todos tienen un por qué de estar en la historia. Entiendo que no es para todos el juego porque no es un juego común. Me encantó.

    The game is incredible. Unlike everything on the market. The story has an exciting and surprising ending. The soundtrack makes all the difference and made me a fan of the band Low Roar.
    I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys exploring in huge, incredible and beautiful settings. You end up getting addicted to making deliveries and connecting the country.

    PERFEITO!! Gráficos, história, Jogabilidade, Trilha Sonora etc.. Death Stranding é uma Belíssima música clássica, que não agradará aos funkeiros. Quem só joga tiro, porrada e, Bomba. Não entenderá a proposta do game.

    The story is good, characters are well written, visuals are amazing. But what stands out to me the most is the gameplay, I never was so engaged in the gameplay like in Death Stranding. Every step matters and u have to pay attention to what u are doing, especially at the beginning of the game. After the Death Stranding, I came back to the RDR2 and I right away could see the difference,The story is good, characters are well written, visuals are amazing. Every step matters and u have to pay attention to what u are doing, especially at the beginning of the game. After the Death Stranding, I came back to the RDR2 and I right away could see the difference, traverse the word is so much interesting in DS and especially in open-world games is this the part u do the most.

    To me, this is probably one of the best story games in a long time for an original idea story game. I love it I'm not going to say its not a walking sim but it is a walking sim.     Социальная сторона тоже очень кайфово сделана, все эти ништяки, созданные другими игроками очень облегчают прохождение, и приходятся очень кстати, сколько сотен часов будет прохождение игры без этой помощи даже представить страшно.

    Я большой фанат игр от Quantic Dream, там тоже огромное место отводится сюжету, и меня
    DEATH STRANDING очень впечатлил.

    Геймплей тоже в порядке, на первый взгляд - ходи туда-сюда, доставляй грузы, но это не так просто. Геймплей меняется, и он не становится сложнее, так как появляются новые возможности, та же дорога с автомобилями, это было прям кайфово, ее отстроить )

    В общем, если вы любите игры, где нужно думать, где есть интересный сюжет и некий элемент чилла, потому как пересечь гору на своих двух по колено в снегу... это требует выдержки. Игра отличная, даже несмотря на мелочи, вроде бесконечных катсцен сдачи и взятия груза, включение визора тварей... все это нисколько не портит ощущение от игры.    … Expand

    I just 100% this game and can honestly say this is unlike anything I've ever played before. This game changes the way we will see video games. Kojima really knocked it out of the park on this game.

    Great and engaging gameplay, relaxing at times, heart pumping on others ... Great story, got me hooked and i loved it. Im at 100+ hours right now (and counting).

I found that the story was compelling and confusing and I believe that most of the people who have played this game and hate, have never played a Kohima game. Kohima really hits the mark with this one as the whole point of the game is a mediation of self and how to de cone t a broken and isolated world. The game looks incredible and I found that managing the inventory was a lot more simpler than say managing Mother Base in MGSV. In terms of combat I actually found it engaging, and when I took down my first BT I was HYPE. With more and more experience I found I was able to face almost any challenge the game threw at me. I found the boss fights to be very engaging and found the traversing the obstacles of the landscape to be extremely satisfying. Yes the gameplay is simply “deliver this item to this location” but the story is very compelling once you get to know the cast of characters and who they are as people. Every character has their flaw and failings and that’s what makes getting to know people compelling in a game where you’re connecting everyone to you and each other. Yes the game is sometimes tedious but when is a Kojima game NOT tedious? In my roughly 40 hours with the game I found I was able to overcome challenges through experience and thinking outside of the box. There is no other game like this game and I think that that is the game’s strength. No this game is not for everyone, but for me I like a slow burner with a well designed map and world. I recommend this game to anyone that has played Kojima’s games before or to anyone who simply likes to traverse challenging worlds. I can’t wait to see what Kojima does next!… Expand

Especially since I love nature, and the idea of taking long walks from point A to point B. Let me tell ya, the songs in game are so therapeutic. But I don't think much of anyone really questions the man's ability. That said, I simply adore this game. I was worried when people said all you do is walk. I genuinely love that any death in this game can have a serious repercussion. It's just so far away from the norm. Reminds me of the glory days of a no kill MGS run. People will say what they will. This game is art in the purest sense. No true art has ever gone uncriticized. I'm glad this game exists, because it's a once in a lifetime experience.… Expand

I think it’s honestly hilarious. This game is the perfect example of “The Journey is greater than the Destination”. Patience is rewarded with one of the most polished and beautifully relaxing games you’ll ever play. I’m ~30This game has my heart and my soul. Look past the shallow reviews you may read.     Just picked this game up, waited a while for a drop in price because wasn't sure if I would like it but so far I can't put this game down! Amazing graphics, the story is strange and keeping me ingaged and looking like its gonna be a masterpiece! This is a must play

    Death stranding is a game it will not be for every body, i dont say it in a way " uhhh you are not smart " or anything like that, if you like the game, it will be a 10 for you, but if you dislike it, it will be a 0, theres no middle ground, because the game is good, but the mechanics are not for everybody

It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
