    Trying to encapsulate this game in a short review is extremely difficult. Even more so, is trying to find a single word to describe it. But time after time, the one word that keeps coming to mind is...Beautiful. Over 30 hours into the game, I can confidently say that I am ready to give it a final verdict. In my opinion, Death Stranding is able to “connect” every aspect of a video gameTrying to encapsulate this game in a short review is extremely difficult. Even more so, is trying to find a single word to describe it. But time after time, the one word that keeps coming to mind is...Beautiful. Over 30 hours into the game, I can confidently say that I am ready to give it a final verdict. In my opinion, Death Stranding is able to “connect” every aspect of a video game seamlessly. The amazing story telling and superb acting, transitions and gives life to some arduous and earnest yet incredibly satisfying gameplay. Gameplay that utilizes (like no game has before) it’s harsh yet stunning environments, which is itself brought to life with perhaps the best looking graphics on a PS4 game to date. The extremes in emotion a player will go through while playing this game will range from peaceful and calm to nervous and tense and everything in between. It always left me wanting to find out what’s gonna happen next. Furthermore, the “Social Strand” system is not only a shining light for the game, but an undoubtedly important message to everyone across the world that, we are in fact, stronger if we work together. If there are people who haven’t played this game because they are still on the fence about it, I strongly encourage them to give it a try. It’s a game you’ll need to play in order to know what it’s really all about.… Expand

    Death Stranding is if not the most groundbreaking game I have ever played in life, The Gameplay itself is really fun and I understand how it is divisive for most people as majority expected a lot more "Typical Action" from this, Instead, we have a storyline like none other and the "Action" in this game is really awesome!     If people can rate a game poorly based off 2 hours of gameplay and influence others not to play it, then I can rate it amazingly for the simple fact that it is a piece of art that not everyone will understand. It's not for casual gamers, it's not for people who dislike anything that's not a AAA released game or people who don't have a common understanding of anything horror-esque..     Fantastic game, not for those who favour action and explosions and this game is also not for those who just place FIFA titles, this game requires investment, time, planning and most of all, attention.     This is a great game, it’s well made, the story grips you because you are constantly learning and understanding what this game is about.     Great game, not metal gear solid 6, don’t buy if you can’t give the game your full attention.

    This is a great game, not only you cant stop thinking about it when you are away, but the Graphics , the music and the way it handles itself is brilliant, this is an INDIE game, I dont care about the opinion of other games that dont enjoy these kind of games, it is not for you.... there is fort nite - Call of duty and modern warfare out there if you guys want to shoot and shout.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm 6 hours in and the game is majestic. It Is a unique experience comparable to basically nothing. It is not a movie, it is not a game, it is something completelly beyond. It is hard to describe it but they have made walking and managing an inventory fun, accompanied by images and camera work rivaling a hollywood movie. The lore is also phenomenal, rich with subtle satyre about the meechanization of what was once trivial and natural (parts of the deliveries are oxycodone boxes to induce happiness, while the enemies are workaholics… Expand

    Game is fine and interesting. Visual masterpiece. Gameplay can be a bit grindy but I'm up for it. Not into multiplayer shooters so this is my cup of tea.

    Death stranding is an absolute phenomenal! There is so much art and effort put in to it and I really appreciate. the visuals are jaw dropping, the story very interested, the world very atmospheric, the online element something new and fun. I can go on for ever.... huge thanks to kojima productions for this amazing game.

    10/10 , No idea why are so many people that are speaking broken english leaving negative comments or why are they so butthurt but this game is absolutely amazing . Such an immersive experience so far, the story is amazing graphics are great and im playing this game for over 10 hours straight now . So thank you Hideo Kojima, the amazing developers and everyone who helped to make this awesome game .

    la historia es increible, no mentian cuando se dijo que hara llorar a mas de alguno... personas sensibles/sentimentales estaran al borde de hacerlo aprox. en el 60% 70% del juego en adelante.

    aunque este tema va directamente relacionado con la tematica y eje del juego... ademas lo dice el propio protagonista al principio "hago repartos, es todo". el mundo representado esta correcto... osea... estamos separados y desconectados, la gente no va a estar afuera con los CV afuera rondando, la TIMEFALL. que no hayan casi nada de animales de igual forma esta bien segun el argumento y lo expone al principio con el ave muriendo.
    sam es solo un repartidor que es contratado. tu eres la persona que te pones en sus zapatos y haces el trabajo. que esperas? que te contraten y que a las dos entregas se desenrede la trama y todo? mas despacio velocistaa.jpeg
    el punto que si voy a compartir con todos es su repetitivo sistema de misiones.
    se que el trabajo de sam es solo hacer entregas... pero, eso hace que caigamos en un punto de repeticion continua como lo dije mas arriba y eso al hacerlo tan largo, obliga a muchos a abandonar.
    si hubieran acortado esa parte del juego un poco estaria mucho mejor (aveces menos es mas)
    lo personajes secundarios (bots de las estaciones de entrega) son casi todos iguales... me refiero a que ninguno te pone un problema mayor.. alguien enfadado,,, molesto por todo y que haga algo inesperado... ¿salir del bunker y amenazarte??? , algo....
    un juego desarrollado en 3años y 9 meses... esta bien, pero quizás debieron tomarse un poco mas de tiempo y replantear algunas cosas. com los tiempos de viajes y la dificultad de bosses.
    DEATH STRANDING es un juego que pone a prueba la paciencia, No ES ABURRIDO si sabes a que vas, sabes que tipo de juego te plantea y lo tomas con calma...
    si eres de mantener el joystick o el boton hacia un lado para avanzar sin mas, te gusta la accion a montones, quieres todo rapido... pasa de largo    … Expand

    I was expecting this game for more than 3 years and now it's finally out, and it live to the hype... This is probably the best game ever made, a masterpiece, the graphic is beautiful it almost look like a next generation game, the story is awesome and entertaining , the gameplay is nothing I have ever seen before... I played for more than 90 hours and I'm not bored even a little, I want toI was expecting this game for more than 3 years and now it's finally out, and it live to the hype... This is probably the best game ever made, a masterpiece, the graphic is beautiful it almost look like a next generation game, the story is awesome and entertaining , the gameplay is nothing I have ever seen before... This game is breathtaking. this game is not for everyone, but to those whole can appreciate it which should be most, it is simply amazing. the detail put into the game play is ridiculous with keeping balance and how your body is effected by the terrain is crazy detailed. the story is gripping when you get into it , and grabs at your emotions fairly quickly. the cut scenes are boxWOW!     Где то на 4-5 часу игры начинаешь понимать, как работает мир DS. Механика груза, музыка, сюжет, миллион нелинейных маршрутов, глубокая система связей. Это лишь малейшая часть того, что есть в DS и сделано на очень высоком уровне. Однозначно к покупке. Спасибо, Кодзима.Где то на 4-5 часу игры начинаешь понимать, как работает мир DS.     Después de unas 60 horas en Acceso anticipado, solo puedo decir una cosa, Obra de Arte, juegazo de autor, profunda jugabilidad, historia de cine, pero no de cine de por la tarde, si no de cine de 5estrellas, tiene un inicio difícil, demasiado difícil, pero tras unas horas muy sufridas todo tiene una gran recompensa, juegazo de 10!

This game is a different type of game is not just about shooting & fighting that's not the core of this game, for that there are plenty of games out there you guys can buy .

    There are going to be people that hate this game because it's different than the mainstream, there's going to be people that love it for the same reasons. This is NOT a game that can be rightfully critiqued in a written review. It really is an experience that you need to sit down and immerse yourself in to ultimately know if it's something for you as an individual.

    Vendo as Gameplays desse jogo, que não tinha tanta fé, percebi o que era jogos de Kojima, sendo que não sou muito fã de Kojima, seu modo de luta e tem um estilo metal gear, também com seu modo online. Eu não ligo com isso de que o jogo vai para PC, aliás é bom ter um crossover, aliás o jogo é da Kojima com o IP da Sony.     Being honest, the game is incredible ... the story, the technical section and especially the characters so Kojima, it was a total triumph, but well said Kojima, IT IS NOT A GAME FOR EVERYONE, it is something new and it did unbelievable

    Игра не для всех. Как минимум нужно дойти до финала чтобы оценивать. Более чем заслуживает десятки, Кодзима поработал в своем духе. Финал - гениальный шедевр.

    THANK YOU SONY/KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS! Death Stranding is a beautiful game with fresh new ideas. Beautiful visually, the sound track is outstanding, and the story is unlike any other! NO LOOT BOXES! I'm so thankful for this breath of fresh air!

    As a huge Kojima fan I can admit that this isn't his best work but I've really enjoyed this game and as a video game fan don't let Schmucks who haven't played the game scary you away from buying this its worth the money

    Patience! So many bad reviews come from players who only have play the game 30 mins. Beautiful and fresh! It’s unique, and the world Hideo Kajima has created is breath taking. It’s a suspenseful, exciting, atmospheric adventure! And in like most games. You walk.

    After playing 10 continuously for 10 hours I can safely say its a unique and superb experience which rewards you for planning your journey ahead and earning upgrades along the way.     Don't listen to haters, just play and enjoy! At 4-5th hours, game's little bit repetitive, but after, the story and new elements added to your gameplay will make the game fun.

    If u like open world crafting world building stealth elements strong narrative exploring trversing nice new none toxic online system this is for u mite not be for everyone but its a 19/ 19 goty for me in my opion . i really feel deepley conected to the protaganist and world

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
