    I was really hyped for this game but still it managed to surprise. It has beautiful graphics, excellent performances from All the actors, “Mads Mickelson” and “Tommy Earl Jenkins” we’re standout for me. and as sci-fi nerd, I loved the story. I have heard people complain about the gameplay but it was just right for me and I enjoyed the loop.

    Espectacular! Las primeras horas son excepcionales, con una trama que explica poco a poco lo que va sucediendo, gameplay fresco y nuevo, música fenomenal y un apartado visual que se ve increíble.

    Few hours into the game so far and loving it. Logged into Metacritic out of curiosity to see how it's reviewing. Literally giving it a 10 since so many trolls are rating 0/10 (which no game this well-made deserves, regardless of whether it's your thing or not), obviously coming here with the intent of skewering the vote.

    Just 5hrs in and I love it. Visuals are amazing, from technical point of view its a masterpiece. Gameplay wise? Well, if you're not into shoot & loot games all the time, and you appreciate a relaxing experience I think it's a game for you (also you need some capacity for all the Kojimasness - which i personally really like). First song in the game is called 'Don't Be So Serious' and iJust 5hrs in and I love it. Visuals are amazing, from technical point of view its a masterpiece. Gameplay wise? He takes his time to make games that crossover into rhe movie realm his work is art and that of a masterpiece. The first hour of the game is breathtaking the cinematics and just how you play is amazing.     Okay, death stranding is addicting. I came in this as a hardcore skeptic. Never played the Metal Gear series. I decided to buy it at full price because I love the atmosphere and setting alone. It's hard to explain, but it feels fantastic setting up a ladder for somebody, or picking up lost cargo, it feels like we're all in this together. Even though you're alone. And seeing the stats afterOkay, death stranding is addicting. I came in this as a hardcore skeptic. Never played the Metal Gear series. And seeing the stats after going through these missions, you end up wanting to do a good job. You feel important. That's what sets this game apart from other games that has fetch quests. The cut scenes are AMAZING and inspiring also. I heard critics call this a "walking simulator" and they couldn't be more wrong. Right before this game, I was running around with an SMG in the new Call of Duty.... And I'm having way more fun in this game… Expand

    The cinematography is superb for a game I mean they really nailed the 1rs.
    Such a beautiful cast ! Del toro,Wright, nic Refn, 3 directors on 1 project just to be part of the game.

    Lo que veo es demasiada gente echándole pestes a un juego por no tener combates, por no tener la suficiente acción, etc. Pero creo que a estas críticas no deberías de hacerle mucho caso, y te explico porqué: ESTE JUEGO NO ES PARA    (ATENCIÓN, ANÁLISIS EN PROCESO) No puedo decir que el juego sea de 10 sin terminarlo, pero mis impresiones por ahora son de 10, dicho esto, al asunto que vamos.
    Lo que veo es demasiada gente echándole pestes a un juego por no tener combates, por no tener la suficiente acción, etc. Pero creo que a estas críticas no deberías de hacerle mucho caso, y te explico porqué: ESTE JUEGO NO ES PARA TODO EL MUNDO, Y TAMPOCO PRETENDE SER UN JUEGO DE ACCIÓN.
    El ritmo lento y la "monotonia" es la tónica del juego, pero que esto no te engañe como un punto negativo, aunque habrá gente que así lo vea (Porque repito, no es un juego de acción ni para todo pichi) Aquí realmente está la miga del juego y donde realmente es fresco, y no encontrarás nada igual en cuanto a gameplay. El juego transmite tranquilidad por cada uno de los poros, si eres el tipo de jugador que se jugó Journey y le encantó la experiencia, Death Stranding te va a enamorar, si eres el tipo de jugador que le gusta probar y experimentar con nuevas mecánicas, te va a gustar, y si eres una persona que sólo juega a Shooters y juegos en los que se transmite la sensación de recompensa rápida, lo vas a odiar con todas tus fuerzas. Yo no me canso de andar y observar unos paisajes dignos de un portento gráfico apabullante, de conectar con otras personas y ayudarnos unos a otros a completar este viaje y no, no me resulta repetitivo en absoluto y sólo por una razón: Lo disfruto. Es un juego que desde mi punto de vista es inviable que te parezca divertido al verlo en Streaming, pero que una vez coges los mandos te transporta directamente a su mundo y te hace pensar y meditar sobre el mismo. No te creas lo que digan los análisis negativos, ni tampoco los positivos como el mío, sólo quien lo prueba y realmente entiende que es una experiencia nueva puede dar su opinión, ya sea negativa o positiva, ambas totalmente respetables. Por ahora, me toca continuar mi viaje y al final de este volveré por aquí a dar mi veredicto final.    … Expand

    The game is brilliant but not all the players will enjoy it.the game is super real and this is what makes it so much fun.So many are complaining about the gameplay lack but if you put some time in the game and get good at (walking) it will get so much fun .In game your are a hero but not like other game. The in game musics are brilliant. Death stranding is my first ever pre ordered game and I’m satisfied with it. The game deserves more than 83. Game have everything that a game must have.     I think it's GOTY for me, beautiful game, good actors perfomance, so many interesting features. I'm a fan of soulsborne multiplayer, and here there is something similar but different, the idea of Kohima about ropes is really working, we build new world together with other players, helping each other. That's great!

    Después de 30 horas puedo ver porque este juego tiene tan variadas calificaciones y es que no es una aventura para todos, si vienes buscando una aventura 100% accion quedaras decepcionado ya que esta obra a pesar de parecer un juego "aburrido" se basa mas que nada en lo variado de sus mecanicas y es lo que te puede enganchar tanto tiempo ,no se limita a solo ser un shooter mas.

    This game is amazing, but it's not for everyone!
    A lot of people complain about that you "walk" but you also basically just walk in skyrim/red dead and witcher, it just gets covered by the setting and its harder to see.

    A lot of people complain about that you "walk" but you also basically just walk in skyrim/red dead and witcher, it just gets covered by the setting and its harder to see.

    Then go get it, but if you thaught that game is more like metal gear, then you will be left dissapointed.
    This game is obviously not for someone who is looking for an action movie, sure it has that, but its in between so much more and im glad hideo kojima did something different this time.

People are literally lynching Kojima without ever playing the game, just because of the fanbase which takes him into heaven.     Leaving aside the spectacular landscapes and the visual content that might not be relevant to some, the travels are really enjoyable, even at the very start of the game are not that frustrating as the "viewers" are saying. Asynchronous multiplayer is very well done and works excellently.
    The gameplay is very various and has really brought me a breath of fresh air. It has a really strong story and it's a different experience that everyone need to try at least once. I gave him 10 to reward him, and to balance the totally unfounded negative votes and without a spirit of objective review. If the reviews had been balanced my vote would have been 9 for now.    … Expand

    Do not believe any reviews at this current stage. It is all blasphemy. The game has been out for less than 24 hours and has a 40 hour average completion time. The people reviewing have not played or have not completed it.

    One of the most epic games I've ever played. Thanks Hideo Kojima for such a wonderful atmosphere recreated in detail in the whole world where life and death intertwined. Almost 180 hours played, a platinum trophy, and the game can still be fully enjoyed. My playing of this game coincided with the global COVID-19 epidemic and the isolation associated with it, which is why I managed to diveOne of the most epic games I've ever played. Thanks Hideo Kojima for such a wonderful atmosphere recreated in detail in the whole world where life and death intertwined. Almost 180 hours played, a platinum trophy, and the game can still be fully enjoyed.     -The game looks visually great. I'm only on a base PS4 and it really manages to look pre-rendered a lot of times both in gameplay and cutscenes. Both the technical features and art direction is pretty good. The landscape is just gorgeous.  -The movement system is actually pretty fun so far. The dedicated buttons for hopping over things rapidly and balancing yourself does make out for an engaging way to make traversing through various environments an interesting experience. It really gives your character a good sense of weight without feeling like you're actively fighting the controls or animations getting in the way of responsive input.
    
    -Great music and audio work. Really gives moments a nice cozy feeling while keeping things tense. There were even moments where I thought it was actually raining outside since the directional audio sounds so good.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is a brilliantly magnificent but boring and slow-satisfying game I ever experienced. Everything hits the high notes for me which I awed at its brilliance of a genius and his apostles. The storyline, gameplay, graphics, sounds, theatrics..literally everything is excellent. I would say the first 10-15 hours its an arduous grind especially if you do not have any form of transport to move around location to location delivering the main or standard orders. Its walking and hiking, then sleeping and evading danger. Its basically like how you are learning from how to crawl, to walk then to ride gradually. I wouldn't compare this art piece to the MGS series which I had played and own from PSP to PS4 titles. Different games has its own uniqueness. Perhaps I could compare it to Phantom Pain but somehow I felt there's some invisible restrictions in MGS PP which Kojima and team are tied down with. This is something different, something oddly fresh, and something daring and bold which raises the bar in the gaming industry making it more realistic, simple and alive. Its an experiential journey of a character that you live in. Sure, it is weird, it is confusing, but slowly you will get into the lore in bits and pieces. You will want to find out more in curiosity and collect more orders to know more of the story and lore of DS. You will slowly understand in your own pace. It's literally not forcing you to understand everything but there's always a story to tell within the main and side quests which I would encourage you to venture through and know the story.

    Truthfully, I should compare this to other RPG open world games run by other designers, writers, directors and producers. RDR2 may have come close to this but somewhat this is entirely a risky concept of creative ideas. It is a phenomenolly-not-fun-but-you-are-still-addicted-to-know-more type of fun. Even dozens of reviews have different long opinions of this game, no kidding. I remember the hype for FFXV game that I was waiting for something special. It didn't truly live up to this hype and expectations that I have. The camera angles was a bit hard to deal with and there's not much. There's always this restriction in games, which I couldn't really describe how to begin. This game, you will need to have an open mind playing this from the start till the end. Try everything and experience it. I love to hike, travel and camp outdoors, but I'm not so sure whether this applies to everyone who never explored in r/l. Frankly for you trolls out there, when the maximum load that you can carry is only 130kg. Do you expect to fill it to the brim without thinking about stable footing. Try doing it in r/l and see whether you could hike from one mountain to another.

    The plus point of this game is its unique social strand system. The online interaction allows you to lay down waypoints/ icons or equipment for other dimensional non-existent Sams to follow and use. They can give you 'Likes' on your waypoints and vice versa which is unique. Not only that, anyone can share built structures or even contribute to build roads. Also, you can also deliver lost cargo back to them or complete their objectives on their behalf. Contract orders, yadda-yadda for you to find out as I won't be giving more spoilers on this. Its best you buy this game and try it yourself. Likers will get liked. Ultimately, would I play this game a second time after completion. Definitely a yes. I have been playing action and FPS games all this months. This is definitely game of the year for me. The standards for games has been raised higher and the future of gaming looks promising.

    For those trolling reviewers that are trying to rig the reviews in Meta to zero ratings, give a proper review please. You are hinting to the world that you guys are dumb that you don't have the patience to understand and appreciate someone's life's work.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
