    Нечто оригинальное, красивое и интересное. Великолепные художественные приёмы, умелая игра на чувствах играющего, необычная история и смелый дизайн, глубокий геймплей, который всё же не придётся всем по вкусу. Определённо игра года и для меня лучшая игра с момента выхода первого Dark Souls'а.
    Игра не идеальна, но "Шедевр" - не синоним слову "Совершенство".    Нечто оригинальное, красивое и интересное. Великолепные художественные приёмы, умелая игра на чувствах играющего, необычная история и смелый дизайн, глубокий геймплей, который всё же не придётся всем по вкусу. Определённо игра года и для меня лучшая игра с момента выхода первого Dark Souls'а.

    Understandably not for players that just want shoot and kill type of games. Even though, I’m still at the early stage of the game, I’m giving it the highest rating just because.

    Just finished it a couple days ago, and I loved the game honestly. I found it incredibly entertaining and couldn't put it down for really any of my 40 hours.
    The human combat I thought was really engaging, if not basic on the whole notwithstanding a handful of dramatic and dynamic boss fights, and the stealth around BTs was heart pounding from start to finish.
    There's flaws sure, it    Just finished it a couple days ago, and I loved the game honestly. I found it incredibly entertaining and couldn't put it down for really any of my 40 hours.
    The human combat I thought was really engaging, if not basic on the whole notwithstanding a handful of dramatic and dynamic boss fights, and the stealth around BTs was heart pounding from start to finish.
    There's flaws sure, it could've used a bit more polish, but the point of the game was to avoid combat not for stealth purposes like MGS, but for human purposes tied to the message Kojima's sending about bringing people together rather than tearing them apart.
    The toll combat takes on you in this game is massive, both in the cargo you have to carry to be "good" in a gunfight and in the damage you can take whether physically or to your precious deliveries. Also, engaging in potentially lethal scenarios runs the risk of triggering a void out that (in universe) could obliterate cities.
    So I liked how they go for engaging moment to moment gameplay of watching your surroundings and managing inventory instead, makes the themes and story punch way harder.
    I think overall the whole experience would've been tainted by going for the traditional route of having a ton of fights and standard gunplay, but the trade off was making a pretty divisive and potentially alienating system and game world that not everyone's gonna like.
    The music, environment, attention to detail, and stellar performances from the entire cast also deserve to be mentioned, as all of them were incredibly impressive.
    It's unfortunate how divisive this game turned out to be, but I think it's good that people can now either avoid the game by knowing it's not for them, or dive in and really get the purest experience possible if they're interested in what Kojima and his team are trying to do, hence why the in game community is as incredible as it is.
    Easily one of my favorite games of the decade, and one I don't think I'll stop thinking about and playing for a long time. I understand it's not for everyone, but it is also far from the "trash" many people will try to convince you it is. If you have the time and are interested in the story, definitely pick it up, if you think you'd get frustrated by the having to manually balance your cargo, you probably will and should just look up the story on YouTube instead. For those who do manage to immerse themselves in the game however you'll find nothing short of a masterpiece that rewards your determination in spades.    … Expand

    This game is definitely not for everyone but it was definitely for me. The gameplay can be a bit annoying and a bit arduous at first.     A very well scripted slow paced game, the story it self is super awesome & mind blowing. Gameplay is a little bit tricky. It like what Kojima said, this game is not for everyone. But once you passed chapter 3 many of the core game elements open up & the game pace improves. You've to be super patient for this game, this is not your average shooting or action game.     Beautiful game. It deserves a lot more praise and less criticism. So many people spent years and so much hard work was put into this game. The music is amazing, the voice acting is pure talent.     Simply put, one of the most innovative and impactful games of the generation. Kojima takes a simple gameplay loop and hangs on it a timely story of isolation, love, loss, and the importance of human connection. Fantastic!

    Death Stranding is a great experience for those people that are bored from shooting games and try to experience new things. It is not boring even when delivering cargos( which is what you are doing most of the time) because of its online aspect and problem solving journey. It gives you the satisfaction when you reach your goal.     A work of art, moving and beautiful, heart wrenching and devastating. It's unlike any game I've ever played before it. Even the few cornball moments were like an adorable nudge from Kojima. This is in my top 5 games and I've been playing for 24 years

    For me, after decades of gaming history on my side, this is the first 10/10 game i can call.

    I registered specifically here for this game. No it's not for everyone, but yes it's a masterpiece. Though it's not an action game, the immersion is awesome. I'm fascinated by it. Play online and you'll get surprises that I won't tell, but it's one of the best games I played. Kojima is a genius, period. Note that it takes few hours to start feeling rewarded, but yes it's worth playing it.

    The only issue of death stranding - it's overhyped.
    Everything else is brilliant or at least well done, haters just waited with a mainstream to leave a negative mark, for them, imao, new CD Modern Warfare is a perfect one. Nothing could be done here. Kojima just got too much attention than needed for the game.

    Once you get over the sea, there is a much larger area which opens up for you. It really starts being difficult to get around - BTs, terrorists everywhere, rough terrain, a lot of deep rivers with strong current. Basically, the world becomes your enemy, anywhere you go. Every step is a challenge that you need to plan ahead for and think about. Every second you need to be on your toes.
    It really took cooperation what needed to be dozens of players to find materials and build roads, safe houses, generators, etc. along the supply line. The feeling when we completed road going through the entire area was just priceless. What was a wasteland full of deadly traps became an area where you could drive your e-bike freely and safely.
    And that's what I guess does it for me. This unprecedented system of players cooperating together, finally, not to kill a bunch of enemies, but in a positive way, helping each other to stay alive and to make life easier. The sheer positivity of providing others means to scale mountains or cross rivers more easily, and the satisfaction of knowing how many people used the road that YOU built.
    That's where Kojima really nailed it IMO.    … Expand

    Um jogo pra você refletir sobre colaboração e união entre os seres humanos, já que com o passar dos ano isso vem sendo deixado de lado e abrindo espaço para o individualismo. Um jogo pra você chegar do trabalho por exemplo, e relaxar com belíssimas paisagens, trilha sonora suave e um enredo que não se encontra em qualquer obra.

    Un gioco più introspettivo, che si interessa di temi attuali con un gameplay diverso dal solito, in una terra solitaria in cui viaggiare a piedi è semplicemente stupendo (e pericoloso).
    Non un gioco per tutti, certo, ma un capolavoro sicuro.

    Death Stranding is one of those games which could be defined as "experience" rather than just game. And it's a beautiful experience. The world built by Kojima is among the most interesting and astonishing ever seen thanks to its unique lore and a stunning art direction coadiuvated by the best graphics ever seen in a console game. All of this gets even more immersive thanks to an emotionalDeath Stranding is one of those games which could be defined as "experience" rather than just game. And it's a beautiful experience. The world built by Kojima is among the most interesting and astonishing ever seen thanks to its unique lore and a stunning art direction coadiuvated by the best graphics ever seen in a console game. All of this gets even more immersive thanks to an emotional and transcendent soundtrack.
    The narrative is captivating and the plot is very complex but most of the cryptic elements are explained by the end of the story. Some of the characters are just unforgettable and the acting quality is overall amazing.
    Gameplay could result boring and monotonous if you are the kind of player who is looking for a traditional gaming experience filled with action and dynamism. It has this indie-like attitude that is very far from triple A games standard. The main mechanic is walking, so most of the engagement is given by losing yourself in the incredible atmosphere of the surroundings you got to explore and feeling that sense of travelling which Kojima has managed to recreate almost perfectly.
    It's actually true that the game loop is extremely repetitive, all the quests are going from A to B but the amazing thing is that even if I was aware of this, I never felt like I was wasting time because I was so completely absorbed. Furthermore, there's the asynchronous multiplayer and the like system which I found to be a great idea because having the chance of helping other players and be thanked for it is very rewarding. There is also some action but combat and shooting system feels a bit too simplified and not that fun, in fact during my playthrough I always preferred to avoid fights while I enjoyed stealth phases. The worst thing is the boss fight design, which is the only issue I can't forgive. Most of them are banal and too similar one to each other and even the most important ones are just disappointing. They totally lack of the cleverness that MGS boss fights had and it looks like Kojima just got lazy. Death Stranding is like a poetry or a painting but in the shape of a videogame, not everyone will appreciate it or even understand it, but it's undeniable that this is the kind of work which videogames as a medium need to be considered more than just digital entertainment. It's the kind of game that raise videogames from mere diversion to art.    … Expand

    Finally something new, very different. This game has it all. Chilled trips across vast landscapes. Intense tricky situations. Riding through the storm. Light Boss battles. It is very difficult to describe, but it has captivated me and I don't plan on stopping. I constantly want to find out more about the lore and the different gameplay mechanics that I haven't used yet. Thanks KojimaFinally something new, very different. This game has it all. Chilled trips across vast landscapes. Intense tricky situations. Riding through the storm. Light Boss battles. It is very difficult to describe, but it has captivated me and I don't plan on stopping. I constantly want to find out more about the lore and the different gameplay mechanics that I haven't used yet.     As a world builder I honestly think kojima is up at the top, and with his world's and stories he can realize those visions in his games. Unfortunately even with an amazing cast the delivery of these ideas fall way short. Kojima is a director, he needs writers to put his ideas in context. I understood the story he was telling, it and the conclusion was wonderful but some scene's where pure kojima and it made me angry. This is awesome dude why are you ruining it!?. Is it a lost In translation thing I don't know but it's what docks a point for me.

    I got hooked on the gameplay loop, it's addictive. Some people are alcoholics, some people can restrain that addiction. I couldn't and that's why outside of the story stuff I mentioned above this is my game of the year.

    When I wasn't playing it I was thinking about it. I get lots of games. Play them on release and some grab me some don't. But it's been 2 years since I started playing a game and I had 30 hours clocked in 3 days. I'm a busy dad I don't do that. If you didn't get hooked, addicted, sure you hate this game. It's **** everyone is sucking his *expletive*. But for the people that it did click with its brilliant. You know their are actually people out there that play 5 hours of fallout 76 every night, why, because it clicked. And if a game can click for a buggy mess why can't alot of people click with a new type of gameplay loop in a bug free beautiful landscape. He made an addictive game out of the stuff we all hate.

    It must be noted the games slow start is too slow for some. And that's fair. That 10-15hr slog at the start is a hard sell and even though the **** this **** it's ment to make you feel gets rewarded later in the game. Alot of people won't hang that long or it just doesn't *click* before then. I loved the early game and that love grew through the game so I was always going to be the perfect person for this game. Even if I don't like fetch quests and walking Sims. Who knew!

    Boss fights are epic, but not that challenging. I think he would rather have went full on postal simulator and less action part's. BTs in the early game are intense, scary as hell but that feeling couldn't last the whole game and became a slight annoyance. But the zip line I created over the windfarm is amazing and I give them BTs the middle finger as I zoom over them with 250kg of cargo.

    The online component is genius. It's like a social site that you can only like their content. No comments, no dislike, no trolling (no review bomb). In death stranding the guy that tells me he shags my mum is liking my bridge over that river with the red markers. And I even liked his rope. Reconnect America, in this game at least he sort of is.

    Sounds great, graphics are amazing. Bug free for me on a 3 year old base PS4. Some janky animation at times but I was hitting a lot of rocks so lol.

    In conclusion I do seem to have many issues or grips with the game like many reviews had but my experience with the game was addictive, morish, I will remember my play through in 10 years time. And I'm back on it going for 100%.

    I just finished it today after over 80 hours. It was awesome. Best game of the year, one of the best games of the decade! Truly a masterpiece. I'm so sad that some people could get into it. Well, it's a sing of our times that people have built walls even in their minds, which prevent them from understanding and appreciating such treasures like this one!

    You are alone but connected to all the other players, and this feeling is strange. You help them and they help you too. It's not a simple "game", it's clearly more than that.
    The story is amazing, Kojima plays with you until the end.

    You can't judge Death Stranding with some videos, you have to play it.

    Death stranding is rich with creativity in the form of its open world. Every journey that you take is unique and will create its own story. There will be times where it will feel unbearable and unforgiving, there will be times when you feel like accomplished and rewarded.

    Situations are unique and dynamic. Using your time optimally and planning ahead will always yield the best rewards. Every mission presents its own set of challenges, and planning your equipment will also put you in advantageous positions.

    As you progress, you will unlock more tools and equipment or even upgrades to your existing equipment, making your travelling easier.

    As you explore you will find player-made structures that may or may not help you. Or perhaps, you can set down something of your own to help others or yourself. There is a sense of being alone, but also not alone.

    You can't see them, but you know other people are going on the same journey, or travelling the same path.

    There are many mechanics in play here, and the gameplay is engaging. If you expect to be able to throw everything you need and more on and push the analog stick in one direction expecting that to just be it, you're dead wrong.

    Navigating the terrain requires attention on both the macro and micro scale if you will. Sometimes you'll need to plot your journey because there is a mountainous region or some kind of body of water. And while you're doing that, you need to pay attention where you're walking, avoiding uneven terrain or things that can trip you up whilst keeping your cargo balanced keeps you on your toes.

    While this is the core element of the gameplay it is not the only one, as there will be times when you need to engage hostile enemies, or when you have to slowly sneak past a BT field to avoid being killed.

    The harshest criticisms come from its gameplay, and I can assure you, it is very different from what you are used to, but it's great. Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelson, Troy baker, Guillermo del Toro, deliver some of the most memorable performances, and that is just off the top of my head.

    The story is great and rich, teeming with spectacular performances from its actors. And you will never find such a fantastic casting from anywhere else.

    Everything from character designs to world and scenic imagery packs a creative power punch of rich imagination.

    The game will make you feel things if you let it.

    You will feel enthusiastic, you will feel frustrated, you will feel accomplished, and sometimes, you'll feel heart-wrenching sadness. Some times I've found myself meditating on a mountain s on events that happened in the game.

    With all that being said, I do have a few criticisms myself but nothing that would reduce my opinion as a whole of the game.

    When you progress far enough, the game does get a bit easier. I think that maybe if there was a bit more emphasis on survival, perhaps making sustenance more difficult, or weapons much weaker would really crank up the intensity.

    There is an upgrade later that allows you to stealth kill the BTs, I think that should be removed entirely because it made BT encounters trivial once you got the hang of it.

    I was hoping for more survival elements, like what we've seen before in Kojima's earlier works, such as MGS3 having to hunt for food and treating your own injuries in the field would have added another layer of challenge.

    I do understand that the PS4's hardware is limited so there may have been something missing in terms of difficulty here. Kojima, please do not be afraid to challenge your players more.

    Overall though, this is a must-play in my humble opinion. Although it's great to connect with others and hear opinions there is something to be said as to experiencing something for yourself and formulating your own opinion.

    This is not at all a game for people who can't think for themselves and need a game to be defined if it's good or bad for them. This is a game that breaks out of those moulds and is a refreshing breath of fresh air that this industry needs.

    Довольно агрессивное вступление, но, приступим.
    1) Геймплей.
    Не верьте никому. Геймплей в игре есть. Эта самая "рутина", за которую все ругают игру - ничто иное, как небольшое (спорно) количество механик, доведённых до идеала. А, да, если вы за TP шутером, то вы этого почти не найдёте. Игра про путешествия, не про убийства и войну.
    2) Сюжет.
    Скорее, всего вы слышали про кодзимовские сюжеты, а если нет, то, внимание...
    Сюжет - изумительный. Не такой глубокий, как был в серии МГС, но он проработан до каждой нитки, каждого слова. Никаких безответных вопросов, запутанностей и минимум противоречий. Если вы любите сюжет в играх - действуйте. Продукт такого масштаба не всегда наделён хорошей сюжетной составляющей.
    Вы когда-нибудь слышали про катсцены Кодзимы?
    3) Катсцены.
    В этой игре просто шедевральная постановка сцен. Каждая катсцена уносит тебя в этот мир, заставляя идти дальше, дабы увидеть еще одну. Вы действительно почувствуете "реальность" происходящего перед вами. Шикарная актёрская игра, что Ридуса, что Миккельсона не оставит вас в стороне. В этом можете мне верить.
    4) Атмосфера, ОСТ.
    Честно, я не смогу описать атмосферу этой игры никаким другим словом, кроме "волшебной". Нет, речь не о магии и мистике. Просто это погружение надо прочувствовать. В совокупности с остом от Low Roar, ваше сердце, даже если оно свинцовое, растает, как эскимо знойным летом. Кодзима и ко выбрали идеально подходящую музыкальную составляющую, а исполнители именно такую и написали. Послушайте их альбом, убедитесь сами :)
    5) Итог и мысли вслух
    Death Stranding (игра Kojima Productions, респект им) получает от меня смелую десятку, рекомендую попробовать, даже если жанр адвентюр вам далёк! Честно, от происходящего в игре (даже не в сюжете) невольно наворачивались слёзы, то ли гордости, то ли восхищения. В любом случае, я не буду решать за вас, покупать вам это или нет. Я просто призову вас думать собственной головой. Не верьте ни критикам, ни другим ревьюерам, ни мне.
    Но, если вы решите поддержать этот проект, можете справедливо считать, что своими действиями вы сдвигаете индустрию в другую сторону. В сторону экспериментов, креатива, свободы. Пора шатать рамки, ломать нашу Берлинскую стену. Если мы ничего не сделаем сейчас, через 10 лет мы будем играть в пабг2030 и фортнайт3000.

    I honestly do not understand the hatred this game has garnered. It is the most unique single player story game I have played in so long in a market saturated with AC and Uncharted-like action adventure titles. This is no "movie game" by any stretch, it is a fully realized masterpiece of a game that will, (I think) get it's recognition down the road for doing something so bold and rewarding

    14k+ rates just to hate without even playing a minute of this game. I am very sorry for all of you stupid people that you lose such an epic game because of your stupidity. Graphics are stunning, sound is incredible.. scenario is Kojima (this shows everything) and gameplay gives you more and more in every episode (a thing that finally makes it perfect). Just keep hating and be in your caves14k+ rates just to hate without even playing a minute of this game.     Usually I get burnt out on gameplay for games of this length, but the upgrading system kept awarding me gadgets that kept gameplay fresh, up until the very end. Somehow, they made delivering packages gratifying and addictive. I felt like I was an astronaut exploring a beautiful planet while doing these deliveries. This made much of my time spent with the game relaxing, almost therapeutic.Usually I get burnt out on gameplay for games of this length, but the upgrading system kept awarding me gadgets that kept gameplay fresh, up until the very end. Somehow, they made delivering packages gratifying and addictive. I felt like I was an astronaut exploring a beautiful planet while doing these deliveries. This made much of my time spent with the game relaxing, almost therapeutic. The story is very deep and involved with lots of twists and turns to add some weight and anticipation of the journey.

    I encourage you to take a chance on this game. Rent it for a weekend. If you're not hooked within the first few hours, then it might not be your game.    … Expand

    I hated the game in the first two chapters. The grind and sluggish progression made me feel like I wanted to trade the game in after 4 hours. But then the end of chapter 2 began and Kojima pretty much tells you to your face "are you tired of the grind? Trying to wait for that game over" and that's when I knew, everything in this game is done purposefully. It doesn't waste your time byI hated the game in the first two chapters.     So far I've only gotten to Episode 3 in the story but I'm liking everything about this game.

I decided on this game with a friend who's a Kojima fan so once it released I got to the store after work and we met up to play.     It started great and immediately was interesting. Amazing visuals and VA made it all the more enjoyable.

    We have had great fun so far and I quickly came to love the game. So much so that I even went out to get the Collector's Edition post release. Ganted this game isn't for everyone. It's not a FPS or any other action oriented game, though there are definitely times the adrenaline starts flowing.

    I've almost put in 60h in the game. The reason I've not advanced too far is partly cause I'm sharing the story experience with a friend but also cause there's a lot to do anyway. The pace is good for this genre. Now if I don't find something enjoyable or it turns to **** I'll adjust the score accordingly. As of yet though, it's been an amazing ride!    … Expand

    Wonderful game. 22h playing and it's the best game I've ever played to date. A classic, a milestone in the history of games.

    Wonderful soundtrack, breathtaking art direction, captivating story.

    Absolutely loved this game. Kept me guessing as I decided not to read any of the spoilers! I dont play many games to the end as I get bored really easily, but this one is definitely one of a kind!

    Death Stranding is creating a new game genre and therefore paves its own path towards more interactive experiences. It is a brave work thanks to its novelty, which fortunately is not a bragging right for its creators, as it may have seemed, but an exceptional title that will reward the brave who play it.     This game does manage to be fun, even if it is one of the heaviest experiences of 2019. Everything from story to gameplay is begging to be dissected, filled with imagery and symbolism -- just like so many Kojima games before this one. Entering Death Stranding, it’s likely that we all thought Kojima’s calling card was lengthy cutscenes and stealth and action gameplay.

    Death Stranding stands as a powerful author’s game which drives a strong message of how our over-connected society is evolving, and how we can help other players. Unlike many AAA games, it shines on a truly spiritual level. Well written, engaging and visually magnificent, it offers, despite some pacing flaws, an astonishing solo game with elegant multiplayer elements. A unique representation of Hideo Kojima’s talent.
