    CDPR - don’t release the game if it’s not working on platform. Constant bugs and blue screens. Graphics quality is terrible.

    Running the game on a PS5. There is a steady 60 fps on this version (unlike the ps4 version), but the PS5 version lacks the ability to choose between higher fps and 4k. So I have what looks like 480p resolution and textures that refuse to load. The story is super in depth but due to crashes every 30 minutes, I don't get to enjoy the story. What a disappointment...

    I have been unusually hyped for this game since I first saw it. Now that it's here, it's heartbreaking that it isn't AMAZING but it's still a game I'm going to give 100% of my attention to in the mean time. Since starting on my PS5, I've had the game crash 4-5 times, had a few clipping issues, and some audio bugs, but I can't stop playing. This game has a special place in my heart already.I have been unusually hyped for this game since I first saw it.     Completely unplayable garbage. As soon as you try to get in car and drive the resolution samples down to 360 and everything stutters. Combat is a little bit better but still bad beyond belief. Considering the posted "ps4 gameplay trailer" this is a blatant example of false marketing.

    - shooting feels either unresponsive or over-sensitive, very difficult to find a setting where the crosshairs go exactly where you intended them to go.

    - Inventory has the Outer Worlds feature where item description pops up every time and covers most of the item screen so you're always guessing where the next weapon you wanted to check actually was.

    - Menu bar drifts downward slowly by itself

    - All settings are reset to default after a crash (or most of the time anyway)

    and many more. To sum it up, they should've delayed it for a few months more at least, and never released it on last-gen consoles.    … Expand

    So I'm playing on a base ps4 and just started playing today (with patch 1.04). In about 5 hours of playtime it crashed only once towards the end. The visuals aren't great but the actual game was fluid enough. I was doing one of the story quests ( in the maelstrom base if that means anything to you) and there was a fairly full on fight with explosions and fire and all that jazz and theSo I'm playing on a base ps4 and just started playing today (with patch 1.04).     Game has a good story, lots of side missions, interesting world and Keanu Reves. In 14 hours of playing on classic PS4 I experienced 2 crashes and 3 bugs, but nothing bad, other than that game runs smoothly and graphics were 65% of time good, 5% of time almost photorealistic, 15% of time decent and 15% of time bad. So far it is a great experience.

Скачал в общем около 130 гб (игра+патчи) и начал играть. На данный момент сыграл более 12 часов и могу сказать что игра шикарная... Сюжет интересный, мир живой (можно подслушать диалог почти каждого жителя Найт-Сити), 18+Купил в первый день выхода игры за 69€. В комплекте шли 2 диска (игровой+установочный), карта города Найт-Сити и его окрестностей, наклейки, книжка и восемь открыток. Скачал в общем около 130 гб (игра+патчи) и начал играть. На данный момент сыграл более 12 часов и могу сказать что игра шикарная... Сюжет интересный, мир живой (можно подслушать диалог почти каждого жителя Найт-Сити), 18+ контент тоже на уровне. Играл в 1080p и 30fps на PS4 Slim. Бывали просадки которые я почти не замечал. В той же GTA Online просадок FPS было намного больше. Единственный минус это вылеты игры. За 12 часов - 2 вылета. Не очень приятно, но и не критично. Если баги и были то можно было над ними поржать, а также уже вышло 2 патча которые пофиксили кучу багов. Люди как будто первый раз увидели баги в играх... Не жалею ни копейки потраченной на покупку этой игры. 9/10… Expand

    Sony please remove CyberPunk 2077 from PlayStation Store on PS4 - this game requires way more powerful machine. It is impossible to play the game now - poor picture quality, low frame rate, view distance is terrible. Huge disappointment!

    Per tutte le console old gen è qualcosa di raccapricciante questo gioco, mai vista una cosa del genere nella mia vita di videogiocatore, a partire dalle texture che per caricarsi ci vogliono 5 secondi, il gioco gira a 15/20 fps e per non parlare della grafica orribile, tutto sfocato, ho giocato un ora e mi veniva da vomitare.
    Una sola parola per tutto questo....

    Dumpster fire. Playing the ps4 version bc on my ps5 and the story and leveling are amazing. But the gameplay, controls and graphics are garbage and riddle with bugs. Gave me motion sickness too, turned off motion blur and film grain hoping to help but something about the character movement messes with my head. Driving is horrible as well. How has this been in development since 2013?

I’ve never felt so emotionally attached to characters before, and this is testament to the outstanding writing from CDPR.

    Really fun game. There are bugs and optimization issues but CDPR has always been dedicated to making their games the best possible and continuously rolling out updates and stability fixes. I have no doubt the state of the game will be greatly improved in about a month's time. So many people on here are complaining about it not running smooth enough on ps4 or xbox one. PS4s and Xbox OnesReally fun game.     Was so looking forward to it and agreed with the delays at the time, because who wants to play a unfinished and buggy game? NPC mouths are not moving and voices are randomly(men speak in woman voice and via versa) when on open world fps drops so low. 50/50 to get out of car works.     This game was released far sooner than it should've been. I have the PS4 version, and I ran this game on my PS4 Pro and my PS5, the game is buggy all the same on BOTH CONSOLES! It does NOT run far better on next gen and I wish reviewers would get that right when speaking about this game. There's multiple bugs like pop ins, little to no cars on the street, cars fusing into other cars, random deaths from just walking next to certain objects, little to no NPC's walking around, dialogues not matching up with NPC's mouths(if their mouths even move at all), T-Poses, Quest logs messing up due to characters not appearing, enemies glitching out or walking side ways on walls, mission options not appearing which forced me to not be able to choose other routes for a mission, overlapping dialogue choices where I was talking and having to select responses for two characters at once. Items in my inventory would glitch out, weapons wouldn't compare to the ones I had equipped or not even compare at all. The game constantly crashes, CONSTANTLY! I play on my PS5 mostly and my goodness! IT CRASHES ALOT! Every time I travel, I have to cross my fingers, hoping to not have it crash on me. It happens so much, I actually know when it'll happen now. The game is so bad that I don't even play it anymore and I'm looking to see if I can get my money back for this game. The fact that CDPR lied, LIED right to our faces and issued embargo's on anyone trying to show console version reviews prior to the release, is reason to not trust this company at all. The Witcher released in a bad state and then we had to wait for them to play catch up for fixes, and this is just the same **** all over again with this game. ANYONE who praises this game while blatantly ignoring all it's issues should be ashamed because, you praising this game and calling it a 10/10 masterpiece just lets developers or game organizations feel as if it's okay to always release games in a messed up state while asking us to pay FULL PRICE for their product. Would any of you buy a brand new car with no engine in it? NO! So all the backlash that CDPR is getting for releasing a game like this that looks like something on a PS3, they deserve it! They delayed the game like 4 times, promised it would work great on last gen consoles(which it was made for) and still it looks like this. And folks who state that this game was "made for next gen consoles," just makes no sense. The game was advertised and sold for last gen consoles, so no, it wasn't made for next gen and it should be working for last gen. To blame users for not having a next gen console(which is hard to obtain right now), is beyond idiotic and wrong. This game is not playable, and as much as the story and side quest seem interesting and well written, this game should've spent more time in the oven for another 6 months or more just to get things right. There's games that came out long before this game that looks far better(Red Dead Redemption 2,GTA5,Ghost of Tsushima, etc), so this game has no excuse for releasing a game like this. They even boasted about how much sales they made and streams etc, of course you made sales, there was a lot of hype behind this title, alongside broken promises that we have to now deal with now. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME RIGHT NOW! If you want to really get this game, go for PC, it's the best version currently if you're running high end hardware for a game like this. It is unplayable and the graphics looks awfull and i have doubts that patches can make it working. And i dont take argument that PS4 is 7 years old hardware. This was how long in development 9 years?

    PS4 Pro there are some bugs, sure. Can trust CDPR to fix them. It is very immersive once you get into the game mechanics like crafting, hacking and upgrading. I have a great time riding around on motorcycles to the next spot on the map I have chosen. While not as good as Witcher 3, 7/10 is where I am at right now. It seems like you can get overwhelmed with all the things you can do whilePS4 Pro there are some bugs, sure. Can trust CDPR to fix them. It is very immersive once you get into the game mechanics like crafting, hacking and upgrading. I have a great time riding around on motorcycles to the next spot on the map I have chosen. While not as good as Witcher 3, 7/10 is where I am at right now.     Cyberpunk 2077 is by far the glitchiest, most broken games I have ever played.

    Within the first couple hours of gameplay, I have experienced broken animations, enemies teleporting around the map, overlapping dialogue, UI elements that don’t appear or disappear when they should, quest objectives that don’t complete properly and require a reload, system crashes, objects and characters that    Cyberpunk 2077 is by far the glitchiest, most broken games I have ever played.

    Within the first couple hours of gameplay, I have experienced broken animations, enemies teleporting around the map, overlapping dialogue, UI elements that don’t appear or disappear when they should, quest objectives that don’t complete properly and require a reload, system crashes, objects and characters that do not render properly or are completely invisible, and more.

    Putting aside from a moment the frequent bugginess, other elements of the game’s world frequently pulled me out of the experience, from ultra low resolution textures, to the clunky controls. I often found myself having to mash on buttons again and again before a function such as calling an elevator or changing the radio station would register.

    Exploring Night City has its ups and downs. Ignoring the pop-in, and the low resolution models and textures, the aesthetics of the city are very nice; sometimes a bit uninspired, but usually quite slick. Unfortunately, I was surprised by how little there is to do in the city, at least in the time I have spent with the game so far. The vast majority of civilians are intractable, spouting odd remarks when prompted, or not saying anything or reacting to the player, V, at all. The number of NPCs serving as merchants or sidequest givers are extremely few and far between. Given this is an RPG and not an openworld sandbox like GTA, I didn’t expect the world from the player interactions with the city, but compared to another open world RPG: Fallout 4, Night City feels lifeless, and I feel like that’s saying something considering the world of Fallout is literally a barren wasteland.

    The combat is serviceable as well as the story. It is going places that feels like it could be interesting, and a good number of the characters are enjoyable. The frequent load times between some of the cutscenes didn’t help my enjoyment of the story, but compared to everything else, that is a minor nitpick.

    Even with no bugs. This game is a disappointment. Npcs DONT even attack back. Cops DONT chase you. They just spawn right behind you. The AI is horrible in this game all around. City is fairly Dead and not much to interact with. No minigames really. Driving is outdated. Its just not that good of a game. Plus how they decieved ppl.by not showing console footage, just b roll.

Movement for all characters is very jagged. Visually, it barely looks better than a 2018 RPG. God of War kits this game to shame in terms of lighting, FPS, rendering, really all things related to visual stability and integrity. It’s honestly just not a very well made game. The idea has potential, but the execution is awful. I really wanted to like this game and have played every day since launch. The anticipation was unreal and I bought into because of the success of The Witcher 3. Today I finally decided to uninstall the game and wait until they have a next-gen update in 2021. Very disappointing to say the least, an outright lie by CDPR to say the truth. We were all fooled by early gameplay footage that simply isn’t possible for the current game to produce at home. If I could get a refund, I would. And I hate to be dramatic, but if you gave this game a positive review, you are hindering the progress of video games (and I question your intelligence).     Fun game and immersive story. Though the game is buggy is still enjoyed my experience on the base ps4. Had laughs encountering bugs a d the crashes allowed me to take breaks after playing for 2 hours straight.
    Overtime, the quality will improve with updates. And I understand I'm playing the game on base ps4. But still entertained and happy with the purchase.

The menu system is very smooth and quick- thank god it’s not like Rage 2 or something. There’s so much attention to detail, and the NPCs are much more lifelike, even on console hardware from 2014.     Dear CD PROJEKT RED, I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! I will gladly repurchase and re-download it later after the awful glitches, defects, and gamebreaking **** gets updated and patched up. The first day, I got the game, it shut down, glitched, and errored me out of the PS4 Pro, an incredible 13 times the first day. In two days it went up to 21 times. I reported it to Sony every time it asked. My comments got very imaginative, before sending. Each time, it booted me, it lowered my love for the game, especially when I was in the middle of fighting an enemy, many levels above me, that I had cornered. And right before I defeated them it would error out of the game. I had to turn off almost all the graphics settings to make it easier to play on the PS4 Pro and that still didn't do any good. It's so bad with the errors and glitches that "IF" I had the actual physical disk, which I don't because it's a digital download, I would've ejected it and snapped it right in half. Disregarding the years and years it took the amazing and creative game makers to make Cyberpunk 2077. I would've gladly waited another year or two for the creators to test, adjust, improve, and perfect Cyberpunk2077. Instead they pulled off a No Mans Sky. (NOTE: I Love NMS Now after all their updates) Anyway, I'm not a religious man but I pray CR Projekt Red fixes and improves the game in a speedy manner. It's heartbreaking to feel Cyberpunk 2077's full potential being decimated into oblivion just so CDPR could get this game out to make the Execs and shareholders happy. Gamers, like me, cherish and eagerly await for games like Cyberpunk 2077. Take your time next time. The payoff and investment will be worth it in the end.

    Cyberpunk 2077, when not glitching or erroring itself into obscurity, is INCREDIBLE!!! The atmosphere and experience you feel is unlike anything ever put into video games.
    The stories are all different. The side quests are worthy of checking out. I recommend completing the main quests to level up your character and get to know the game. Let's say Cyberpunk 2077 came out and there were little to no gamebreaking glitches. It would go down as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, openworld RPG's.

    ▪︎The nudity and the decision the game makers made to allow full frontal was their greatest decision.
    ▪︎PACIFICA Region of Night City is one to behold. It will go down as one of the best maps ever created by a game Company. Kudos to the team behind Pacifica. I mean the rest of the map is incredible too but man that rundown Waterfront Amusement Park Area is Amazing to play.
    ▪︎The main story and side quest characters, in the game, are all unique. ▪︎Alot of Homages and easter eggs related to other Science Fiction works of art. See what you can spot.
    One example is the "I'll buy that for a dollar" character from Robocop. Would be awesome if Robocop was in the game, Would make sense.
    3) WHAT NEEDS IMPROVING OR MY THOUGHTS.
    ▪︎ Love Keanu Reeves but his character voiceover work is not good. Seems bland and not up to its fullest potential.
    ▪︎Driving mechanics are not good. All Vehicles need improvements. Vehicle damage is not good either. I GET IT, IN the future cars are sturdier. But the damage itself needs to be improved. Nevermind the driving itself is very hard to control. Especially braking. ▪︎Hud map needs improvement. Its too close to notice anything.
    ▪︎Gunplay, Cover, and shooting Mechanics need improvement. ▪︎It's the future, everything should be wireless. Why does the main character have to wire him or her self into into anything. Makes no sense.
    ▪︎HIGHLY recommend Saving the Game constantly. More than any other game in history. Because you never know when the game will error out of nowhere. Doing random tasks will turn off the game. ▪︎These are just a small hand full of problems I have. They have way WAY more.

    Game is plagued with errors and problems. CDPR Needs to patch the game up ASAP before its too late. But if you choose to ignore the gamebreaking errors, Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the greatest openworld RPG's of all time    … Expand

    Solid game runs great on ps5. Most bad screenshots you see are peoples **** up hdr settings! If you have ps4 pro game also works fairly well. Its an amazing game! Dont let internet trolls bring you down. I havent tried it yet but i have heard pc is best way to play

    I have an original PS4. Yeah, it crashes, yeah, there are some bugs, but it's not unplayable for me. The game underneath is so much fun, and I love the world and narrative. Gameplay is tight, and whatever fighting style you choose is a viable one. The bugs will be fixed, skyrim came out looking like garbage, and this is nowhere near that level of buggyness.

    I'm running it on a PS4 Pro and it is amazing! Obviously it doesnt look like it would on a PC with a 3000 USD video card. But I love all the customization and variety of weapons. Also there are many many side quests! Its a next gen game and I'm grateful to enjoy it in my old trusty ps4. I hope the online version is available soon!

    Having been caught up in the hype train for this game, come launch day i was absolutely gutted to see how poorly it runs on base PS4. This game is and was marketed as a PS5 game long before PS5 came out. It literally unplayable, now its collecting dust on the shelf waiting for me to be able to buy a PS5.

    I'm playing on ps5 and one of the main problems is the game crash every two hours, the graphics are ok, looks like ps4 graphics, I encountered miner glitches but nothing game wrecking, there's lots of missions and side missions, if you pay attention you will enjoy the gamee but don't expect to be blown away...

    It is not worth buying the game for PS4: fickle and extremely low framerate in many areas, horrible and slow to load, full of bugs, multiple crashes of the game time after time, ...it is unfortunate that a game in these conditions can reach the market.

    This game is incomplete that's filled with bugs, lags and crashes every few hours. Graphics made me felt like I traveled back to the days I played PS3. Very very disappointed in CDPR. They shouldn't lie to us that the game is playable on last gen console when it's not. If given a choice, I would not have bought the game.

    On a positive side, story is good and hence 1 in rating. Would give 0.5 if I had a choice    … Expand

    I know literally unplayable is just a meme, but in this instance it is true. I've had constant crashing and save game corruption, the game even crashed so hard it signed me out of my account!

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
