    This game, in this state, is completely broken: lots of bugs and crashes. Impossible to play, and show us an absurd downgrade. Cd projekt red presents us a huge disappointment, caused by the nonfulfillment of everyone's hopes and expectations.

    Fun fact. I had an entire review written for this game, but when i pressed 'Sumbit' BAM! It was gone! I guess the game is so broken that it even crashed my review for it! As i'm not stupid enough to rewrite a 4000 character review, i'll summurize it in one sentence:

    "In 2020 they voted this game to be an unstable broken mess that fails at being both an RPG and a First Person shooter,    Fun fact.     horrible graphics and countless bugs. impressive the inability of the cd project. postpone the game for so long and deliver such a bad experience to players. in addition to the bad graphics it is possible to notice several bugs, some of which even prevent a good gaming experience. I simply do not recommend buying this game to anyone.

Massive frame drops, which makes action sequences virtually unplayable. Navigating around the city is an eye sore and it even gave me a headache. CDPR must have known about the technical limitations on last gen and decided to advertise high end PC's in fear that last gen consumers would cancel their preorders.     The game is really fun... when it works(approximately half the time). This game is a HUGE mess, not even close to ready for release. They just shouldn't have even released it for ps4 since they knew that it didn't work.

    Almost all bad reviews this game got are because of the numerous bugs and glitches the game has which completely ruin the game, but honestly even if those were not there, i would have a hard time actually recommending this game to just about anyone. From the start, the character creation system is really lacking. I was not expecting something as in depth as say Black Desert but when even an unmodded Skyrim can boast to have more customization than your game, we have a problem.

    The game's AI is just awful. games like Oblivion were doing AI that had its own life, schedule it followed and stuff like that & that game came out in 2006. Meanwhile in Cyberpunk, you do as much block their path and they have no idea what to do. Shoot in their general vicinity and civilians will just cower in fear for all eternity.... Speaking of shooting near civilians, the police and wanted system in the game is some baby **** Not expecting something as complex as the one in Red Dead Redemption 2 but the system in this game is insulting. cops literally spawn behind you no matter where you are if you commit a crime and you could cause the biggest massacre in history and then just take a left in the next corner and they will literally stop looking for you... like what's even the point?

    The world is beautiful to look at (unless you are on ps4/xbox but i'm ignoring that part in my review) but it is completely empty of things to do besides the main story... I mean, if you look at the mini map, you will think there's a lot to do with all the markers on it but then you go visit them and find the same objectives in all of them... just go to X zone and shoot some members of a random gang committing a random crime or whatever... I liked to play by sneaking and hacking everything, bc if I'm playing an RPG that lets me sneak and kill everything silently, I will always build that kind of character and I had fun with that at the start... until I didn't bc the AI is awful, like sometimes they could see me in places where they have no business being able to see me and sometimes I could literally pass right next to them and they couldn't see me at all, It's ridiculous. The hacking in the game is superficial at best. I mean, the hacking in Watch Dogs was miles better and that game was already mediocre.

    The only saving grace the game has is the story, the story is actually really good and even that is not flawless... since the game's advertisement had me think that the character origin you pick at the start would actually be important to your character's story like in Dragon Age Origins or at least unlock some small quests and interesting dialogue options that can change the course of a quest like in the first Mass Effect... instead all it does is show you a 10 mins prologue quest that has no influence on the story and fades into the same "6 months later" passage of time montage no matter which choice you pick but after that lame montage the story properly picks up and is great throughout with some great or at least interesting characters.

    There are still so many other flaws I could go more in depth on but I will instead just mention quickly... like the driving which actually made me miss the Mako from the original Mass Effect. The enemies just being bullet sponges that make even fallout 4 look like it has great design in comparison.

    Overall I give the game an 8 out of 10 on story, 7 out of 10 in music/sound design, and 1 out of 10 on gameplay, optimization, difficulty, game design, etc etc,    … Expand

    This game is dark, gritty, intense with gorgeous graphics, great gameplay and a very personal feeling story. It crashes a bit, but I'm sure they'll get it patched.

    I felt cheated, if you go to Playstation Store and play the video of the game, what we see is so FAR from what we currently get in the real world, that I feel myself as an idiot.

    The game is completely blurry full of glitches and bugs.

    This game is an insult for whom waited so long for it. Keep distance.

    Its just unbelievable how CDPR LIED to their fans with the Ps4 version, purposely hiding the reviews of that version and confusing their buyers with the PC version.

    This puts CDPR in line with Ubisoft and EA in the bag of **** anticonsumer.corporations that i will never give my money again

    This game is absolutely unplayable on PS4 Pro. I don't mind downgraded graphics, I have a hight tolerance for that. But the pop-in is atrocious, the framerate is in lower 20s, and there's just way to many bugs.

    I turned off in the graphics options - motion blur, depth of field and film grain, clearer it looks is not so blurry and maybe a little bit faster on PS4 PRO HDR options I gave such - max monitor brightness    PS4 PRO after patch 1.04 can be played with great satisfaction, there are still mistakes, but the plot and atmosphere will make up for it.

    This is just not a good game at this point. There is talk of bugs being the issue but bugs don't really bother me. This game has a major issue with textures not loading in, from peoples faces not loading in to running into invisible walls/fences. But even when the textures have loaded in and there are no bugs it just doesn't look good, I would compare it to Deus Ex: Human Revolution whichThis is just not a good game at this point.     Released too early just for Christmas Eve sale. They got the money after 4 days, covering all the development and advertisement costs. And the customer now has to wait for the patches. AMAZING.

    I know that on my 2012 trash console all games are running at 15 fps, so I was surprised that such a great game even started on my console, so I am sincerely grateful CDPR that I have the opportunity to play on my backward and outdated console!

The Witcher 3 won every reward and so we blindly pre-purchased thinking we would be taken to Heaven again. It has turned out to be Hell. I have emailed PSN in the vain hope I can get a refund -This is simply shocking.     The way the game is running on last gen consoles is beyond ridiculous and I don't think there are enough patches to optimize a game for a hardware that just cannot live up to CDPR standards. Even if they patch it to exhaustion, the PS4/XONE ports will still be a mess.

    But even after patches it's barely playable with resolution so low I could not read texts on signs, advertisements etc, fps and input lag so bad that my teeth crunched and game menus are a chore to use. Some character models are of ps2 era util SECONDS after loading kicks in. And that before all the quest bugs and glitches, I did not encounter them, but that because I just could not bring myself to play enough to see them.

    And it's not like it was made for nextgen and then downgraded to PS4. No, the whole production cycle PS4 was current gen, game was to be released way before nextgen consoles was announced. And it's not like we didn't see GTA5 and RDR2 on current gen to say "well, this game is just on another level".

    PS4 version is a fraud, and they knew this. Thats the reason nobody have seen this version before it was on shelfs.    … Expand

    Many technical problems. Low FPS, sometimes it takes a while to load the textures. Many sites look pixelated. Other aspects of the game are fine, but this one in particular sincerely makes the experience not as expected.

    Unplayable, 2 it’s only for what they previously done with TWIII and for their fans in the past but now 141220 it’s definitely a 0, a technical crap. I hope that the commitment demonstrated in the past will be renewed, until then it’s very disappointing.

    Best game I have ever played in the last 5 years easy. I have not experienced any of the the so called bugs or crashes these urinalists reporting. Highly recommended!

    You can’t play it normally, my game breaks nearly every hour and the graphics are awful.
    The framerate is low and inconsistent too which makes this game nearly unplayable.

А вот теперь МИНУСЫ: неиграбельный, неоптимизированный, сырой, с кучей багов и вылетов кусок кода. Деньги вкладывали не в качество а в рекламную кампанию. Херовая русская озвучка.     All went relatively smooth for the first couple hours then I ran into a glitch that created lines through my screen. It's not my console as other games like Cod Cold War runs fine. Tried deleting and reinstalling the game with no luck. This game is absolutely trash in console. Will be contacting Sony for a refund

    Bastante decepcionado, por desgracia. Seguro que sera un juego excepcional, de lo mejor de la historia, pero en PC. Actualmente en consolas old-gen como PS4, bugs, errores, fallos, caidas de fps, texturas que no se cargan,etc etc. injugable. Juegos de PS3 tienen la misma calidad grafica que este titulo, y como digo, es una lastima.
    Pague mas de 200€ por este juego, y como minimo, pedia    Bastante decepcionado, por desgracia. Seguro que sera un juego excepcional, de lo mejor de la historia, pero en PC. Actualmente en consolas old-gen como PS4, bugs, errores, fallos, caidas de fps, texturas que no se cargan,etc etc. injugable. Juegos de PS3 tienen la misma calidad grafica que este titulo, y como digo, es una lastima.

Дайте игре шанс. Cd project red всегда трепетно относилось ко своему комьюнити. Со временем поправят оптимизацию и игра заиграет новыми красками… Expand

    I'm honestly disgusted by how CDPR treated this game. This game had been in development even before the PS4 and Xbox One had come out.

    Yet, the game is literally unplayable on both of these systems especially the base consoles and this problem is more apparent than ever considering the fact that a majority of the people who own these consoles have the base version.     This game is completely broken on consoles. Worst of all, the company knew about it beforehand but lied to the consumers by blocking console reviews and not showing any content from the console versions to hide its issues.

    Yet another proof, how much CDPR cares about its community.

    Great game with an awesome story! Works fine on my PS4 PRO. We just all need to remember, that we are playing on 7 old years consoles! So don't expect it to be as on PC, or buy PS5.

    To put it straight, I encountered a few glitches and bugs, a few crashes I can live with if it gets ironed. But I simply don't understand what were they thinking with the visuals. This game is not for a base PS4. I am not going to refund, since I feel for the hard workers of the company who had nothing to do with dates just work their asses off, but the result is outrageous. I am clinging to re-playability, and hoping for getting a PS5 before 2077, and maybe the bad taste in my mouth will fade away. CDPR will always have this taint on them though.

    On the other hand, I want to love this game, and I got hooked. Can't wait to put the kids to bed, and go back to the ugly, disappointing, under performing Night City on a 75" HDR TV, and carry the story on.

    I feel like beaten and robbed by a friend, but still answering the phone, cause I want to believe there is a reason for all of it.

    I suggest not to buy it for the regular PS4. Even if you manage to enjoy the good parts, the wasted potential will be striking wherever you look in the game.    … Expand

    El juego esta roto, la idea es buena pero pobremente ejecutada, esta lleno de buggs, bajones de frames, la ciudad esta muerta y los npc's desalmados. de momento recomiendo esperar antes de comprarlo.

    A rich gaming experience with plenty of ways to discover and interact with a very interesting world. Well done CDPR. Runs fine on PS4 Pro. This review is assuming that the developers will fix any remaining issues and even enhance the game in some minor aspects, and history shows that they will.

Aslong as you have 50/50internet. I wish metacritic woukd let me ad a rating on cyberpunk 2077 for stadia aswel. It would be a sollid 8/10, the game still needs a polish… Expand

    And with more free content and support promised.

    As of the 1.04 patch the base PS4 is running at a consistent 30fps.
    Don't believe the negative press (unless your Xbox One user, they really need another patch).
    How CDPR has managed to squeeze this onto the PS4 is miraculous.

    Very poor graphics, feels like PS2, fps dropping insanely, very poor game at the moment, don't spend a penny on it until it's fixed. I'll give it a chance and wait for future patches but if you don't own it already, don't buy it and wait to see if they make it playable, I'll be happy to change my review if one day it is good enough

    This game needs at least another year of development. Really poorly optimised for last-gen, even when running with backwards compatibility on a PS5. Sure the frame rate is okay on PS5, but what about the myriad of bizarre, immersion breaking bugs which seem to be present across all platforms?     How can a game be this buggy after 8 MONTHS WORTH OF DELAYS and it's really sad to see 8 years into the making of this game and just to turn out like this but hopefully they can atleast fix the bugs but until then I'm making a refund until it's atleast playable.

    Incredible game. Runs just fine on my ps4 slim from 3 years ago. Games are not about graphics but about gameplay and stories. I can spend hours on this game and forget about real life. I will play it again on ps5 choosing nomad and corpo. If you care about frames per second and stuff like that just wait and buy it in a few months when the patches will fix it or play it on next gen consoles

    It's such a shame really. At least CDPR has now announced they will refund ps4 players. I may come back and buy this for ps4 in a year or so when it's on sale. My experience is like so many others with glitches, bad UI, crashes, etc, etc. Apart from that, it destroyed the immersion and sense of fun. I went back to RDR2 happily.

    Ok, i agree with other reviews that this game has bugs, but people are really exaggerating that it is unplayable. The plot is great, the world is beautiful, atmospheric music. I think the hype was just too big and now people are complaining that they just got a nice game instead of an ideal one.

    Apart from the obvious bugs and terrible performance on base PS4 it is just a very underwhelming experience. For such a large and detailed world there is almost nothing really happening and nothing to do. Gameplay is repetitive, clunky and AI is just plain stupid. Really sad to say this, but it's just really bad.

    Kauft es nicht. Ich warte nun nochmal mindestens ein halbes Jahr bis zum richtigen PS5 Patch und hoffe das es dann besser ist.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
