    After playing the game for awhile (haven't beaten it yet but am very far in the story) I can say that it's given me two opinions. 1 for PS4/console and one for PC. I got a chance to play it on my buddies PC. It literally looks like all the trailers we have seen. That's just how amazing it looks on PC. Crisp clean 0 glitches and fun gameplay. My Ps4 on the other hand, no the sameAfter playing the game for awhile (haven't beaten it yet but am very far in the story) I can say that it's given me two opinions. 1 for PS4/console and one for PC. My Ps4 on the other hand, no the same experience. It's like I'm playing a really bad knock off of Cyberpunk 2077. The graphics are like ps3 hell ps2 at times. Glitches galore, Heath bar says I'm low even though I know I'm not. Other characters talking over each other and one of the most annoying is when I pause the game you can hear other NPC's talking. This game should have waited to come out. I would say CDPR felt pressured by fans because they kept stalling but as a whole we wouldn't have minded it if they released this game next year. It sucks that game developers are at a new trend now of releasing lack luster, half finished games and saying "we can just patch is as we go and slap a 60-70 dollar price tag on it." Seriously? I like to play games as a hobby and it is fun but if this is the route the gaming industry is going I don't want anymore to do with it. This game is in a terrible state right now and isn't fun on console with as many issues as it has.… Expand

    Seems like a great game but it's almost unplayable, 10% of the playing time is reporting crashes, 20% loading times, 10% loading textures and the rest is good gameplay. CD Project Red have become as greedy as EA for releasing an abysmal version of the game

    In this game is nothing that explodes your mind, it just did the action RPG elements with high quality and well, and this in my eyes surpassed all the competitors on this field (the game is 8/10 on the case, since it is just high-quality but not perfect, but due to such a number of meaningless zero marks, I put ten in support of CD red, they are made grate job)

    Jako że gram na ps4 pro gra działa nieco lepej niż na bazowej po aktualizacji 1.4 da się grać jednakowoż gra potrafi gubić klatki podczas strzelanin w mieście np w takim klubie miałem zlecenie na gościa ale zaczęła się jadka,ramki spadły do ok 15 ale przez 90% czasu gra działa stabilnie w ok 30 fps całej reszty nie wspomnę bo gdyby nie bugi i spadki fps dał bym tej grze 11/10.

    Putting the issues aside the story and gameplay are good. The story is engaging and allows for replay ability with the starting background story’s you can choose. Graphically it’s really good but with some issues when driving through the street you can get popping and pedestrians are like a blob till the textures are loaded. We don’t really know what technique they are using for the render side of the game but it seems that the game is trying to load everything around the player instead of Horizon Zero Dawns approach where that only renders what the player sees, once all the issues re solved this will be a game to have.
    The score we given is based on the story, side quests, fighting, shooting and things to do around the city and does not take into account the technical issues that there is. We understand that the developers are releasing a game during a pandemic where they had to work from home and understand the challenges that that brought to them as a team that usually is working in the same studio.    … Expand

    Yo tengo ps4 slim. Sufro crasheos (muchos menos desde la actualización) pero siguen pasando. Los npc están muy mal. Me cuesta muchísimo hacer misiones en sigilo, te ven incluso desde distancias larguísimas, y atraves de paredes. El personaje si te miras en el espejo esta calvo , siempre. Los npc bugueados.     After reading so many reviews about the base PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077, I was very worried about this game. First off, it isn’t perfect, especially while driving through night city. It has a bit of a grainy look. Even with that, however, the city is absolutely beautiful. Riding along in the passenger seat of the car with Jackie is a mind blowing gaming experience. Riding along in the passenger seat of the car with Jackie is a mind blowing gaming experience. The shear size, scope, and feel of the city is absolutely amazing. I think most everyone that has played this game agrees that this is one of the most fantastic settings ever put in a video game. Now we come to characters and depth. When I first met Jackie, I wasn’t sure about him...didn’t like him or trust him. Then you get to know him. Before long, he feels like a new friend, then a good friend, then a great friend. The same can be said about the first ripperdoc you come to as well. Point is, the story telling from the Witcher III is back and these characters are absolutely fantastic. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself getting attached and wanting to learn more about everyone as you go. Then there are attributes, cyber ware, gear, etc. I’ve seen so many people say this doesn’t matter then bash quickhacking...or bash the combat and driving. Sure, there is a learning curve....but where you put your points matter. As your skills level up, you feel it in the game. As you get better loot, you feel it in the game. When you upgrade your cyberdeck to have significantly more ram and better quickhacks, Intelligence becomes extremely powerful. What you choose to build matters and how you choose to play matters....for your game, for your character, and for your story. The choices you make and the side quests you do open up alternate endings even. It’s everything I could ask for in an action RPG. My advice to anyone on the fence is this....if you’ve been wanting this game, get it. Sure, there are glitches and bugs in the game. No, they are not nearly as bad as they are made out to be. You obviously aren’t going to get an Nvidia 3080 experience on a base PS4, but if you are looking for an incredibly fun, beautiful, well told story with characters you’re going to fall in love with while having a blast progressing through a large open world, buy the game. Stop listening to outrage. Have some fortitude and turn a blind eye to the outrage culture. Try it out and judge for yourself. I’m guessing you’ll love the game like so many others of us out here do.     Fantastic game. I'm currently on a ps4 slim and this is one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. Sure there are alot of bugs but what game dosent have bugs at launch. I've been playing since launch extensively and the only bug I have had with missions is the claim something free from riders clinic. People said they don't like the gun play but give cdpr props for trying something new you gotta remember they don't come from a background of fps game they come from games like the Witcher not fps. Frame rate is not an issue for me since every game I play on the base ps4 dosent have high frame rates. I didnt set unrealistic expectations like everyone else I wanted an enjoyable game to play and thats what I got. I feel like people forgot what a video game was and its kinda sad. Enjoy yourself and enjoy your time playing this beautiful game dont worry so much on the bugs they will get patched eventually. I say this game is beautiful for everything it offers this is the first game I have truly connected with any npc in any game and thats a win in my book. Im currently 53 hours into the game and looking at the map I feel like I barely even scratched the surface. So that means I still have plenty of time to enjoy this fantastic game. I hope all of you can as well. Thank you cdpr for creating a beautiful game. If I was to rate this game based on everything it has to offer then it would be a strong 10/10 I dont think its fair to rate it based on bugs because those will be patched in time everyone just needs to have a little faith.     I can't recommend buying the PS4 version of Cyberpunk. Although the game is full of great content and should be a great experience, the technical issues make it unplayable and ruin the years of work that had clearly gone into developing Night City and the story.

    To start off, get ready for 65 GB of patch downloads if you buy the physical release. Unfortunately it only gets worse from here. From literally the menu screens, the first things you notice are the awfully upscaled resolution (most of the time 720p to 1080p) and dropped frames. This is the baseline - at no point does the game run sharp or smooth. But it's only the crappy springboard from which the PS4 version dives into the deep pool of excrement. Crashes happen every two-three hours. Key characters clip in and out of cinematic moments. UI updates like messages or tutorial info freeze the game as they load. Detailed character models and textures often fail to load, making you interact with low poly untextured sub-N64 objects and people, with detail only popping in after a while. Dialogue options fail to select or skip lines. NPCs pop in and out of existence yards away from you.

    All this makes completing even the prologue a truly awful experience. But even seeing beyond the technical issues, the game is clearly unfinished. Whole features are missing from the game, from things like in game character customisation (tattoos, haircuts) through broken loot economy, to the minimap zoom out when going fast. Core shooting and driving mechanics feel off and lack polish.

    I'm especially disappointed because I decided to play on PS4 instead of a mid range PC to get reliable, it graphically down-tuned, performance. Now I'm stuck between spending £50 on the game again to play on PC or Stadia, waiting until PS5 units are available to mortal men, or ruining my first play through of a game that I'm sure has much more to offer than can be appreciated on PS4. Still, the game should have never been released on PS4 when barely any work seems to have gone into optimising the performance on old hardware. This is a black mark against both CDPR and Sony for rushing the game out, with no reviews or gameplay footage of the PS4/Xbox One version to warn consumers of the issue. It's borderline false advertising selling this game for PS4, and destroys my trust in console games being a reliable and hardware anxiety-free experience. Avoid!    … Expand

    Играл на slim и pro версиях и даже 30 fps нет постоянные просадки до 20 fps
    ужасная мыльная графика которая режет глаза.

    This game was one I looked forward to for years, and when it finally came it has been nothing but a complete disappointment. Terrible issues with frame rate, npcs, clip ins, and just an overall terrible game, which is shocking considering the developers and how much I love the Witcher series. This has been the biggest disappointment of a game that I've ever experienced honestly.

The music is phenomenal. Combat is fun. Elements of the world are beautiful. The small details and easter eggs spread throughout are great.

    I went into this game expecting close to what I received - a fun action RPG that presents a dark, interesting world to explore with rich characters. Having said that, I’m highly disappointed with the technical issues and believe it should have never launched in its current state. I’m confident that CDPR will release continued patches to make this game more stable on the base PS4. There is some serious work to be done to get it to the point where people will be able to enjoy what is underlying. It’s a shame it was released prematurely because it’s detracting from the core of the game, which is special and unlike anything else I’ve played.

    Driving : 7/10
    Technical: 5/10

    Do not waste your money on this game.. for the highest budget in gaming history this is the poorest technically I've played in 3 generations of consoles. CDPR needs to apologize and do something pretty big to stay relevant. Even if it was technically polished the game has nothing going for it except its story... It's a worse blunder than anthem. Another studio going down the toilet...

    Took several hours of gameplay until I started enjoying it. The first patch fixed a few bugs still getting some crashes now and then but gameplay and story make up for it.

    bought the game without the hype of the majority and I was positively surprised. I think a lot of complaints come from crashes, but I didn't have them and there were no problems with major bugs. However, it is necessary to improve the game's performance on consoles.

    Excellent gameplay and immersive story with captivating characters.

For exame sometimes cars around you just disappear. You see them in a distance but they are gone if you try to approach them. Dialogs are overlapping.     The saddest part is that there all a lot of stuff that could make this game great but most of them is just unfinished. For example fighting mechanics is not engaging even using guns has not a lot of difference. You just take the one that deals the most damage and it does it’s job.     This is the biggest disapointment for a game I wantes to get on day 1. Its an ugly game on ps4. It is unplayable and I am ,ot one to be picky with bugs at launch.

I'm playing on PS4 Pro, I have experienced the framedrops, the crashes, and most every bug report here is legit.i still give the game an 8 because I feel its worthy of an 8 or 9 with what it has available. The PS4 may be an old console, but if RockStar can produce RDR2, Rocksteady can produce Arkham Knight, Sucker Punch can produce Ghost Of Tsushima, Gorilla Games with Horizon ZeroDawn, Gearbox with Borderlands 3, all open world games, and there's more to name, CD has no excuses. The game is nothing special in terms of doing anything different to other game. It's a larger Deus Ex game with GTA mechanics. It should work well on the PS4, and the fact that it doesn't is inexcusable especially given how long in development the game was in. What's the most damming thing is how CD tried and successfully hide the console versions of the game, and in return they have ruined their reputation. They are a joke compared to Rockstar.     This is why it now pains me to have to say this - but it must be be said - CDPR's reputation has been ripped to shreds with their release of Cyberpunk 2077...
    It's no secret that this game has been the most highly anticipated and the most hyped up game of this generation - maybe even ever.
    Expectations from the gaming community for this game have been high. The trailers we saw pre-release portrayed Night City as a densely populated place full of vibrant and bustling streets, a world full of engagement with loads of NPCs and interaction options, a deeply complex and comprehensive character customization system, and a game that gave the player full agency over their experience with a myriad of options on how to go about completing their chosen story arc - and although the story has largely met expectations, almost every other aspect of the game has been a massive let down for me.
    The game is in such a bad state that I'm genuinely stunned that CDPR decided to ship it. I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that I have never experienced a game that has released in a worse state than Cyberpunk 2077 - and I've been playing video games for at least 20 years (I'm 28 years old), across multiple platforms and multiple genres - Cyberpunk 2077 is, from a performance perspective, hands down the absolute worst game I have ever played - EVER.
    It is a blurry, faded, stuttering mess of a game that frustrates you continually even as you're just trying to walk around the world. Often textures don't load properly on characters and NPCs, vehicles do crazy things like randomly drop from the sky or start barrel rolling around the world. Several times I've been exploring the world out in the badlands just wandering around the place looking for stuff and taking in the scenery when the game will suddenly and randomly decide to kill me. I've clipped through walls and entire buildings, I've fallen through the world a couple of times, I've seen vehicles clipping into each other and bouncing up and down, NPCs merging into each other, NPCs just doing really strange and weird stuff like floating in the middle of the air or grabbing items from something that isn't even in front of them, dialogue that doesn't match with the movement of mouths, frame rates that seem like you're playing an indie studio's stop motion version of a game! It's bad. In total I've played about 30+ hours of the game and I don't intend on extending that, not for the foreseeable anyway. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. I'm justifiably upset and angry that I spent my money on this game, given the state it is in - and as a result I've now lost faith in CDPR completely, which is probably the saddest thing of all, because as I stated at the start of this review - they were once my favourite gaming studio in the industry...    … Expand

So I thought fine I'll play the only way that was clearly developed and shoot everyone but 4 times in a row I have camped in a room and the AI would spawn 4 jacked animals behind me and I'm dead.

    Playing on PS4 Pro. After the Saturday patch the experience became much better, no single crash.
    Overall the game is quite enjoyable and immersing, just want to spend hours there.

    cyberpunk should be literally one of the worst gaming experiences i've ever played, it has tons of bugs like texture pop in, T posing NPCs and outright sections of night city that struggle to load in exposing you to the void.
    but you can customise genitals, therefore it is the best game ever made.
    oh and keanu reeves is in it too i guess

Had to push all of my settings down to the lowest settings and even then, I've had error CE-34878-0 pop up at least 20 times in the short time I had the game on. Zero support from Playstation and no response from the developer. Terrible. I created a brand new Metacritic account just to share this because I'm THAT frustrated.

    Took me 16 hours to complete the main story, would have taken me 13 hours if it wasn't for the constant crashes, bugs and glitches some were game breaking and I had to restart my PS4 or reload a save game from a an hour before, pretty graphics but I don't think they should have released it on the PS4 or Xbox with the low textures , resolution and FP low FPS.

    I'd like to let people know that this game is not broken on ps4 pro and works great. There's a few little glitches but none game breaking. Can't speak for the base ps4 version, but the game is great looks great and am thoroughly enjoying it.

    I think that the hype destroyed this experience as people expected this to be great in everything. Instead it is not anything we have seen before. CDP Red are not experts in creating a great RPG or progression systems, flawless loot economy and on point equipment balance and my beloved Witcher 3 is a good example of that. However they are experts in creating climate and a feel and they did not let me down in this area with CP2077.

    The best thing for me is that CDP Red managed to create a great world, just like they did with the Witcher series. The word that will finally be free of bugs and glitches and that will bring us many, many great moments.

    Un gioco che per quanto riguarda le ps4 standard si puo definire solo "orrendo" per grafica bug e problemi vari, di conseguenza vanno a influire sul gameplay in primis e purtroppo distolgono da una storia ben strutturata e accattivante. Una delusione derivata da un marketing fuorviante e scelte non oneste da parte della software house.

    The main part of gameplay is just listening/reading the dialog, so the playing of this game is basically just like listening a long, uninteresting podcast. Between all the blahblah you move the character around in a pitch black environment with an awful framerate just to get into next location where you, once again, get to listen some more babbling.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
