    Tons of bugs. Crashes every few hours. Graphics are terrible at times. Game play is hit and miss. The game is just a mess at this point. There's a good game hiding in there, but it's under a layer of garbage.

    Great great game. Just dont buy it now. Would be higher but theres lots of bugs and crashes. Either wait till they fix it on ps4 or play it on ps5 when available

    The game plays on PS4 however, the graphics are subpar. Especially, when this long awaited title came with so much hype. Grainy images and textures, slow loading npc's and buildings are such a let down when compared to the writing and themes. The Cyberpunk 2077 I was prepared for was not a reality and leaves me lost in a dystopian world that makes me feel like I have regressed inThe game plays on PS4 however, the graphics are subpar.     As much as I looked forward to a game based around the William Gibson book Necromancer, this game in no way, shape or form lives up to the descriptions or hype. Its basically a reskinned GTA 5, where your story choice's pose very little change on the overall story.     Unplayable on PS4. Gunplay feels unpolished, melee is boring, hacking gets old quickly, UI is frustrating, AI is stupid and massive lack of depth (for example, you can even customise the colour of cars you buy). An incredibly fascinating universe ruined by poor execution. Everyone fell in love with Mike Pondsmith’s universe, but hates CDPR’s shoddy execution of that vision. Do not buy.

    The biggest issue though is totally non-existent AI. The NPCs run on a script, ruining any possible sense of immersion. Lifepaths mean very little, and the city feels like one big, empty cutscene. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (2004) seems more advanced.

    There's no way this game can be classed as a 5* game its unfinished feels rushed and can't cope with what its trying to achieve. Buggyness isn't too much of an issue for me but constant crashes are. Paying money for this game with all the issues makes me wish I'd waited until people were allowed to deliver true opinions of the game and not kept in the dark pre-launch.

    I fondly remember a time when a game was expected to be in a playable state at launch. Those were the days...

    Okay, what do we take away from this fiasco, kids? Never preorder. Never get a game on launch day. Never go to the store without reading some reviews first.     The game is optimized for crap, including crashes, drops in fps, lag and freeze it is unplayable. not to mention the textures and bugs. congratulations on stealing € 70 from most of the players.

    Game breaking bugs. Dialog boxes not appearing on main quests therefore unable to progress. I have to restart after investing several hours. Horrible.

    El juego tiene muchos errores, no se puede jugar bien, cuando comienzo de nuevo a jugar, las configuraciones que realice en el juego anterior como son las configuraciones de idioma, vibración del mando, tamaño de los subtítulos y la opacidad de fondo se reinician cada ves que lo vuelvo a jugar, y siempre tengo que estar configurándolo cada vez que lo juego eso es molesto.     This game should have never been published in this state. It is broken, unfinished and full of bugs, a big shame and a hard blow to CDPR for performing this big scam to users. It might be a great game in next gen or top pcs but for ps4 this is not acceptable in any way.

    CDPRis dishonest for hiding this version from reviewers. It is a broken mess and players are essentially beta testing the game. Terribler framerate with textures taking ages to load and objects popping right infront of you. Crashed the ps4 quite often aswell.

    Clearly, not a game made for PS4 (basic), I played a few hours and I can not anymore. I have the feeling to play the first tomb raider game where everything was a polygon. Even GTA V or Horizon Zero Dawn has better graphics than this game released in 2020...

    Don't buy and don't play this game on PS4, it will be a bad experience.

    The only thing to do: to wait for the real release on PS5!

    Buggy but improving with each patch, when a game is this ambitious there are always going to be issues look at Skyrim etc now arguably one of the most lauded games ever.
    It will all get sorted and then the issues will be a distant memory!

It would have been ok to release it just on PC for now and delay console release until the next gen versions are ready and the game is in an playable state. Crashes at least every hour particularly when walking into a new zone while autosave is running. Controls are a hot mess and you basically have to disable all the added "stuff" to make it playable. Same thing with graphics options.

I am having to save the game every 10mins just so when it starts back up, I don't have to be too far back.

Ahora bien, en tema técnico ya es otra cosa, es completamente decepcionante en la manera que trabajaron este juego para esta plataforma, es que es vergonzoso, parece un juego de PS3 mal hecho, texturas que no cargan, bajada de FPS con unaLa historia es muy buena, los personajes cada uno en su mundo, el combate increíble, la música, la personalización, todos estos apartados son de 10. Ahora bien, en tema técnico ya es otra cosa, es completamente decepcionante en la manera que trabajaron este juego para esta plataforma, es que es vergonzoso, parece un juego de PS3 mal hecho, texturas que no cargan, bajada de FPS con una media de entre 17 y 20 FPS, y muchos dicen "es que es un milagro que el juego se pueda jugar en PS4" en serio?     I feel really conflicted about this.
    Spent about 15h in the game. It looks quite tolerable on my PS4 Pro (unlike some screenshots from PS4 I've seen), but still I have never experienced before a game that crushes literally every hour.
    I still like the story, still like the general experience, but it's beyond my understanding how a project this raw could ever be released to public.

    What I will say is this - the game was designed from the ground up with ambition to be one of the best looking and one of the most massive games ever. Should CDPR be penalized because of poor performance on an aged console that was released 7 years ago, when there are multiple other ways to play this game such as the PS4 Pro and PS5 version as well? I personally don’t think so. If you look at the NVidia timeline in 2013 when the PS4 launched the 700 series of cards was brand new. There has been 4 generations of GPU launched since then. There’s a lot of technological upgrade that the original PS4 is missing.

    Personally, I feel like CDPR put out a product that everyone knows they will continue to work on to optimize and make better. Does review bombing make the situation better? No

    I understand the frustration of getting the new game and it not performing at even a decent rate, but I also think that if you’re limiting yourself to an original PS4 and aren’t happy with the performance of one of the biggest titles to ever launch, you should consider upgrading your hardware.

    Even after 2 patches constant blue screens of death, major tearing and pop outs, max fps less than 20. It feels like they totally forgot about this generation, you know the one they originally said they were building this game for.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game looks horrible, tons of glitches, and the most annoying is the movement and joystick stickiness. Can’t even walk down street without feeling like movement from both sticks are pulling you in different directions, not to mention “menu screens” it’s a game in itself trying to move the cursor over any option as it loves to rush to the top of the screen on its own. So many side missions it’s easy to get lost in the over ambitious story line(s). And I’m writing this after the 1.04 patch. Please please please work on more patches and FIX this game. Or CDPR should not have offered this as PS4 or Xbox one game, and waited for next generation consoles and PC only. Guess GREED pushes us beyond our means. If they fix the game for ps4 and Xbox with patches over he next month or so then it’s just a matter of too much too soon, if they don’t and or can not fix it. Then shame on CDPR and I will get my $60 back and just wait for PS5 version.… Expand

    There are simply too many issues to justify a higher score. The characters and storyline seems great, but the bugs, horrible graphics (truly freaking atrocious), desperately low frame rates and controller ghosting issues, makes the game simply unplayable. All immersion is lost when you walk through a closed door that has not loaded, when people and cars appear magically out of thin air. IThere are simply too many issues to justify a higher score. I find myself booting up the game with the hope of progressing, but more often than not I simply switch it off again in disgust. Seriously disappointing.     I waited 8 years for this game and I was not disappointed despite some bugs on the premiere day. Firecracker 10/10!

    On the other hand, I was really disappointed by Deus Ex: Mankind Divided which I consider being a cyberpunk game but actually it wasn't...

    It's good that Cyberpunk 2077 met my expectations!!!

    Even with the bugs the game is something I can get into. With the most recent patch, the game becomes alot more playable. Maybe someday down the line it'll be worth giving a 10/10. But not right now.

We’ve had a patch update, which for me has improved things a lot. It’s not perfect, not Red Dead Redemption 2 perfect but it’s getting there.     Regret buying this game on PS4 pro, everything looks awsome on PC but on PS4 it looks like crap. The game I played before this was Ghost of tsushima and compared to that game this looks like a PS3 game... Really hope its gona look better in the future because now its unplayable and is going on the shelf untill fixed...

    Очень атмосферно и круто, с каждым часом прведенным в игре НайтСити тебя обвалаквает и обнимает, критичных багов не встречал, все более чем играбельно.

    Potentially genius game, in which you have no ability to play cause of tones of bugs... this is fail

    Also it’s better to cut the “car driving mode” at all than to play this hack.

And yes it is unexaptable that the game kept crashing on day one, but guess what day two cdProjectRed fixed that so how does a 1 or even a 0 makes sense now? It's painfull to see a company that still tries to create something special instead of most triple a companies copy and pasting the **** out of their franchises, and cdprojectred is being punished for being so adventurous? Mainly to try each of the paths to understand the differences, and get a better understanding of what to expect in the game. Even after the patch the game is still broken, albeit a little more playable than before. Having a PS5 my expectations of graphics were high, simply put they are not what they should be...even for PS4... CDPROJEKTRED is a good game company and now has ruined my view of them, apparently they are more worried about getting the game out andining their pockets then they are about the quality of their product. As far as gameplay goes I give it a 7.5. Maybe due to graphics issues, have been struggling be able to see enemies in dark areas. For example the first boss. Kept shooting him and would get zero hit damage. Eventually, after dying a few times , I finally noticed there was a certain spot I should have been shooting him. That spot was "highlighted" yellow, but couldn't see it in the dark setting... Same goes for many lootable items, can't see them even with the scan feature on. Did a mission where I walked into an area and apparently was a hostile area. Got killed, restarted, all of a sudden where I simply walked in a locked door appeared with a bouncer. If that would have loaded properly I wouldn't have been in that position to begin with. When playing an rpg you have a higher feeling of need to play the game as designed, that graphical loading error forced me into playing the game as not intended and broke that rpg feeling of playing along.. The game doesn't feel like a next gen, graphically or gameplay wise. Nothing new for an rpg. Same elements as the past rpgs. For one, why don't they make all the main characters interactable? Even some of the non main characters. I would like to be able to have more conversations, romance options etc.. Not specifically with certain prostitutes they choose, but if i find someone in the game attractive, or like their personality, i should have options to interact with them on a deeper level, whether a main NPC or a random on the street. Invite them for a drink, hang out at my place, or their place, and so on. I understand 1 or 2 may have those options, but by now, with 5th gen, that should be an option. Also, why bother being able to create the looks of my own character if I never see them? First person POV and I can only look in a mirror once in a while, otherwise never get to see the character I created, so why have the feature? Also, maybe it will be different as I progress, but whats the point of being able to pick clothes designs when it comes down to value of armor? Right now my character is male and dresses like a woman simply because the armor level is better on those clothes.. Not that it is wrong, but I don't want to rpg MY character like that. I want to play it my way and look the way I want to (lile world of Warcraft, can make my character look anyway I want. By now these games should have a similar feature) That is what is supposed to be a good feature of rpg, your choice to do it how you want. Yet, I am forced into certain choices with certain clothes. Right now, I am lost in the city, again I have only played 3 hrs, but RDR2 was easier to determine where I am geographically. Overall the game so far is not bad, but needs A LOT of fixes. Expected more out of a fresh RPG at this point in video games lifespan. More of the same gameplay, nothing groundbreakingly new, can't see the character I spent a good amount of time creating. Still playing will update when I have more time invested the game....an 8 for now due to many bugs and lack of anything fresh and new with gameplay.… Expand

    Unplayable. The only game I ever considered to be illegal to sell in it's current state, frames per second was low enough to make me physically sick. Everyone involved should be ashamed and embarrassed, I got my refund. Somebody needs to go to court over this, any other unusable product would be taken off the shelf.

    Although it had bugs at launch, the recent patch 1.04 has been a vast improvement in terms of stability FPS and graphics a strong story deep characters. Gameplay is fun and varied with little repetition. All in all a diamond in the rough just as skyrim was when it launched except the bugs are being patched.

    Extremely disappointing. You cant enjoy anything or get lost in the world due to bugs and the blurry visuals. It feels like im playing the worst of a ps3 game maybe ps2

    Broken ,Broken and broken if this is a game release i would not have wanted to be in the alpha/beta program. Bugs ,bugs and bugs serious gameplay stoppers and it even crashes your console. So cheer up this is how games of the decade are being released now the standards are set.

Y la realidad es que se ve como un juego de ps3.. Malas texturas, borroso, lleno de errores, va a tirones... En definitiva, es INJUGABLE en esta plataforma. На PS4 очень плохая оптимизация, но патч 1.04 внёс видимые изменения. Но если не смотреть только на технические моменты, которые ремонтируют, то мир, атмосфера, задания, анимации, диалоги и сюжет сделаны на высоте.     Absolute mess of a game. Returned for a refund...PS2 games are more enjoyable than this. CD Projekt have effectively lied to it's customer base, stiffled honest reviews & made us pay £50 for a pre-Alpha....

However, where I am currently at right now, I can't even progress in the story.     This game is a total disaster. I felt cheated by cd project red. I pre ordered it, hype was so damn high and what I got is a broken game, huge frame drops everywhere even in cutscenes, graphic and design look terrible, pop in everywhere, and constant crashes.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
