    I can not believe that I paid for buying this horrible game .

    Ok this is my first review on Metacritic and need to tell like others . This game is the worst game ever i've played in my game life. This is definitely scam by CDPR . What a crazy bad , how can it be bad this much in 2020 there are so many great open world games like Gta, Fallout, Sskyrim, Red dead redemption 2 etc . CDPR    I can not believe that I paid for buying this horrible game .

    This is the worst game that has ever been released on the PS4. If this is a next gen game why does it look like a PS3 game? Even GTA 4 on PS3 had better graphics. I gave it a 1/10 because the story is good

    If you're on PS4 avoid like the plague right now, hell if you're on PS5 avoid till the PS5 version is out and even then wait to see if CDPR actually fixed this mess of a game.
    The worst part is under this mess a good game could exist.

The police system is a disgrace lightyears away from someting like GTA5. Driving feels floaty and unpolished while combat is mediocre at best. The RPG elements are boring and feel unnecesary.     The state this game was released in on base consoles is unacceptable. Something like this qualifies as unplayable in 2020. This game needs serious optimization for PS4 (frequent crashes, low quality visuals and textures, terrible performance, incomplete features). Everything just looks and feels like some Closed Beta version meant for the PS3.

    The game also needs proper AI for the Police and non essential NPCs. The stealth system needs serious improvements; same goes for the melee combat. There's way too much junk-type loot in the game and crafting is sub-par. You can't customise the appearance of your character once past the creation screen. Vehicles can't be tuned or personalised. Transmogrification (or a similar system) it's a MUST and needs to be implemented. The UI needs improvements (especially when it comes to inventory management).

    Three days after the release, I'm giving this game a 4/10; would've rated it lower but they've actually done a good job on the level/city design, sound and music, story and quests, animations and models for the main characters.

    Verdict: Decent game delivered in an incomplete and unplayable state, ruined by deceiving marketing, shady review policies and essentially lack of QA and optimisation. Very disappointing and a shame CDPR chose to do business this way.    … Expand

    Gameplay is good. Playing on ps5 via backwards compatibility. Have currently 12 hours in game have good gear as corpo.Got to a bug that made it that i could not continue game. Very disappointing. In quest "love like fire" enemy turrets will not take any damage causing the quest not to progess.

    I pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 and played it the moment it hit 12 am. I was excited to jump into this world, but instead I was left with the most infuriating experience I have ever had with a game. I found myself feeling sick by the first hour. I thought maybe the first person shooter was messing with my eyes. Turns out it was the extremely blurry graphics and horrific framerate.

    I hate comparing hate comparing games, but I can't help but compare the overall world and graphical capabilities GTA V has on the PS3 and XBOX 360. GTA V was the swan song of that platform generation. Cyberpunk should have been the swan song of this last generations consoles, but it's NOT! It's barely optimized for those systems. Graphically it should be much better. Stability wise it should be much better. The open world should be much better, The Framerate should be much better. Do I need to go on?

    What gets me is how stupid the overall world is. Cops popping in, instead of arriving. Zero reaction from npc from much of what you do. You can park your car in front of multiple and you get a no response. Barely any cars on the road. It's not a living and breathing world. It's lifeless, unless you're walking around. NPC feel stupid and robotic. Some of this game seems to be ass backwards. Imagine a gaming company tooting about how detailed the game is even the garbage is specific to the area a player is in. It isn't just generic garbage. Yet, NPC's have some of the worst AI I have seen in an open world game ever! Where is the logic in taking the time to detail garbage, but not taking to time in having good AI? The Witcher 3 AI is worlds better than this. How could they screw it up so badly?

    At this point, it's just stupid. It should be so much better on the PS4. I feel like the game utilizes 25% of what the console can do. If they can't fix it and make it be the game it could be, then they should give us a refund. If it can't be fixed it shouldn't have been released on the PS4. What a mess and what a waste of everyone's time and money.    … Expand

    Как человек который купил ведьмака 3 на всех платформах и Киберпанк на PS4 и PC, могу сказать что игра полностью находится в нерабочем состоянии на PS4 - это просто мошенничество года. Но на PC все гораздо лучше. Главный сюжет прекрасен, персонажи интересны, но второстепенные миссии немного хуже проработаны. Итог, делайте лучше ведьмака 4:-)

    Having said that, I can't recommend this game in its current state. The number of bugs, many of which have crashed the game for me, is simply unacceptable in an allegedly AAA title. The graphics are nothing special (though I understand there is a lot of pop-in and slow texture loading on the base PS4) and the sound requires a lot of tinkering in the settings menu to get to an acceptable level. I found myself cringing for my neighbor's sake when the game would inexplicably blast heavy bass in background music, enough to rattle furniture, despite other sound elements being at a normal level.

    It's not all bad. The story is interesting, and the voice acting is good. The gameplay systems are fun, even though some of the RPG elements appear designed to force the player into crafting their character into a min-max archetype. Certain perks and abilities require that you invest heavily into their associated stat, which could be good or bad. You also contend with both experience points and "street cred" points, which is odd, considering that you typically get both in equal measure.

    Having said that, some of the systems don't seem to have been fully fleshed out. There is a crafting system, but not much to craft. By the time you can afford decent crafting plans and materials, you will be finding gear that is as good or better than you can make. You can earn crafting xp, which grants various bonuses as you level up, but without a good reason to craft, it's just another number to watch increase. Tutorials could have also been better. I was several hours in before I realized that I had items I could slot into my various cyber implants.

    Overall, I would usually say give this one a few months to get the bugs ironed out. However, this game has been in the making for years. That this is what they have to show for all those years of work does not create confidence that the devs will be able to polish this one to an acceptable level. If you must play it, wait a few months. I expect spring '21 will see this one at half price.    … Expand

    Skrew everyone review bombing Cyberpunk. Yes they've been working on it for a while but they made a EXTREMELY ambitious game and made it run on 7 year old hardware just to make us happy. It was OBVIOUSLY designed for PC because that the only thing that could run this incredible game up until a bit ago when next gen consoles released.     I had to made account because cp2077 doesn't deserve that bad score. I was playing cp2077 on ps4 for 40h and honestly I'm giving strong 9 to this one. I know its buggy, i had 7 crashes (only 1 after patch 1.04), 2 times i could walk throught walls, it has bad optimalisation, and many many grafic bugs they need to fix. But the story, gameplay and characters are PERFECT. Side quests give meI had to made account because cp2077 doesn't deserve that bad score.     Cyberpunk puts you in a deeply immersive city full of futuristic crime. The story and side missions keeps you interested from start to finish. Deep upgrade systems and story choices allow you to make the game your own. With varied gunplay and weapon choices which keep you engaged. Many bugs and crashes being the crutch of the game.

    Im from Portugal, and i played (i dont know how i could play this game so long) for 14 hours in PS4. This game starts with loading screen images bug, menus delay are insane, the option for accepting and tracking missions by the cellphone are delayed, sounds, gunshooting, etc are too **** delayed, everything is a mess. Bugs on the npc's, bug's on the vehicles, bugs in our character, bugs onIm from Portugal, and i played (i dont know how i could play this game so long) for 14 hours in PS4. This game starts with loading screen images bug, menus delay are insane, the option for accepting and tracking missions by the cellphone are delayed, sounds, gunshooting, etc are too **** delayed, everything is a mess. Bugs on the npc's, bug's on the vehicles, bugs in our character, bugs on the missions, bugs on everything, you just need to play 5min or less to discover 1 major error.
    We (PS4 and XB1 players) cant play the game, because its actually unplayable. Cyberpunk runs at 720p with 10/15fps all the time. It's really insane and when you think this is enough the game crashes severall times. What can we do. This is a robbery, i payed 69 euros for this 1 quarter of a game. Cyberpunk 2077 its a shame. I demand my money, after that i dont want ot know what cdproject will do in the future, this game is a joke. And then we see, 8 million dollars profit, because we trick almost all the community with our **** marketing about keanu reeves.    … Expand

The setting, narrative, and characters are also incredible. but to give this game a 9 or a 10 like i want to would be dishonest. the performance on the base ps4 almost makes the game unplayable at times. Framerate issues, bugs that dont let you continue quests, character models not loading in, npcs clipping throughI just want to say that i absolutely love the content in cyberpunk.     releasing a game in this state is simply unacceptable. more that anything it is disappointing because i know there is a fantastic game behind all of these problems but they cant be properly experienced at the moment.

    Never in my life have i ever played a game in such a messy state and i play both fallout new vegas on the ps3 and fallout 77, its a great disappointment that this is the result of such terrible and greedy marketing tricks and development abuse of a company that had won the trust of its audience, well never again

CDRP tried to make the game have something for everyone and there are some elements that are mediocre. But then there are several that are top tier. Dar uma sensação de vazio ! O jogo teria sido 1 marco na História dos vídeos games caso tivesse lançado sem Bugs com 1 opção de câmera em 3º pessoa, igual tem nos veículos do Game

    I’m playing this on a day one PS4. With game update 1.04, all graphic settings turned off & it looks absolutely terrible. Walls and surfaces look grainy, some NPC’s look like clay/plastic. You could wait around all day & most textures won’t load in, just looks brutal. The bugs & glitches are funny & you’ll have fun recording them.     El juego es excelente en muchos aspectos, por desgracia su apartado técnico es desastroso, a pesar de que se puede jugar, no se puede jugar bien. Está lleno de bugs, errores y gliches, almenos en última versión que jugué. Es una lástima el pobre desempeño que tiene el juego. Se recomienda jugar después de un tiempo, no de salida.

    was lucky enough to buy this game from eb games physically and was able to return it for a bunch of gift cards spent on games from 2013 like tomb raider and ni no kuni with better **** graphics and gameplay. one of the biggest failures in gaming entertainment

    The most important reason people are angry at CDPR is the fact that the company KNEW they were releasing a 60$ videogame incapable of running properly on current gen. They knew it and they still went ahead with it because the PS4 version was guaranteed to be the best selling version. It's downright disingenuous.

    But even if you disregard this crucial truth, consider the following:

    *long, detailed exposition without proper pacing and direction does not equal good storytelling. Sometimes more is less.
    *beautiful art & visual design is very much appreciated, but if you're dealing with a VIDEOGAME, gameplay should be KING: if the aiming feels off & the AI is very inconsistent, you'll end up with something that should've been a tv series instead.
    *the fact that CDPR has a great history of supporting their games for a long time is encouraging, but it doesn't change how they screwed over day one buyers: the game should be at its best from the start; not when it's 20 bucks on sale. Pre-ordering is a mistake on itself, but it's still wrong from their part.

    That's it. It will sell amazingly well regardless because of marketing and hype but I hope it helps the company improve on their next project and the customers to be a bit more discerning with their purchases.    … Expand

    If it's not the constant crashing for no apparent reason every 20 minutes, the game breaking bugs you encounter can be a real pain in the ass. On one of the missions a guy who was meant to come out of the lift, got stuck and kept flipping in and out of the gaming area. You needed to kill and collect something from this character and if you were able to successfully do this, the character would most of the time die and lie outside the gaming area completely breaking the game.

    When driving at high-speed in a car the textures of the road and buildings will either be missing or take time to appear properly. Even the NPCs while walking around either skate around the area, have missing limbs or their lips don't move during dialogue. Also the game will constantly freeze at random periods for a few seconds especially in graphic intense areas.

    The only saving grace for this game at the moment is the pretty good autosave function, which at least chugging through the game a bit more bearable. The missions and side missions are plentiful and some of them are quite complex, but there are others that will fail without you really knowing what you did wrong.

    The life path you choose have very little effect in the overall game, whether you choose Nomad, Street Kid or Corporate apart from the 30 minute introduction mission you literally end up in the same place and doing the same missions. Dialogue choices do not really make that much difference since you will be going ahead doing missions the same way no matter what.

    There are tonnes wrong with how the game works missing turns when driving in cars happens all the time, since the map does not dynamically change dependent on the speed you are going. If you commit a crime then expect the most invincible police force to ever grace a game spawn right next to your character from nowhere.

    The weapons, clothing, Cyberware and the mods you can get are pretty lack lustred and have not been fully developed to add to the gameplay or make it unique. Also you need to get really far in the game and almost complete the game before you can either afford or are allowed to purchase the more legendary items. By then you will not need these items since you will have completed the game.

    CD Project Red will need to work really hard adding new features and fully optimising the game for previous generation consoles. since this is the biggest customer base and they need to satisfy the millions who have pre-ordered the game.

    They need to produce a roadmap and let customers see their plans for the future and also see how quickly they are going to release patches. More needs to be added to this game since it is supposed to be an open world game and more random encounters and uniqueness is needed.

    Also the city needs to come alive with more pedestrians and vehicles to make it a vibrant and full futuristic experience. The streets are very empty most of the time and dependent on where you are you will see absolutely no cars or people.

    For a AAA game this has got to be one of the most over-hyped disasters the gaming industry has ever encountered. Even Fallout 76 had more content and less bugs than this complete mess and it did actually work on PS4 base consoles also.

    CDP have a lot of work to do, they know this, and I'm hoping that this be a lesson to them in the future that if you want to run a hype train such as they have, make sure they have a product that works first.

    What we have witnessed is the battle between keeping the stockholders happy and game devs pushing for more time. Instead of chucking them under the bus, allow them time to finish to a quality that's playable.    … Expand

    10/10. After the Witcher, it’s first game that completely absorbed me. Incredible characters, plot, tons of humor and, oh my god, lore. It's fantastic. There are a bunch of technical flaws, but they still understand that they will be fixed over time. The impression of the game from this does not deteriorate from the word at all. There would be more such games.

    Needless to say I played it for 3 plus hours, turned it off, uninstalled it, and put it on my shelf for when / if PS5 becomes more available for the masses. Wouldn't waste time trying to trudge through the fallout-esq trials you will certainly face on a base PS4. It will ultimately ruin the experience for you.    … Expand

I’m angry, yes, it’s not the end of the world & I’m sure CDPR fix it and make it better, but that does not give them a free pass on this and CDPR exec’s & their developers do not deserve the bonuses they are promised or success for this travesty of a game.… Expand

    Lie about the game, hide the review, and basically BS console players to buy this unfinished product = 0 for me. Who care about the game system, game play, story and other blablabla, when the product is not finished. If you buy a car and it only has 3 wheels would you take a ride and call it fine?

    This game was suposed to be a masterpiece, and it really had a huge marketing for the base consoles. The arguments saying this is a new generation game should take a look at RDR2, a large open-world with a beautiful scenario and characters interacting directly or indirectly with the player. I live in Brazil and the game is really expensive here, because of our coin value. It's like paying $280 for a buggy and downgraded game. I really want to play and explore every corner of Cyberpunk, but is impossible to play in this conditions. CDPR, please fix the base consoles. This is a sincere appeal of a modest brazilian. I don't have money to buy a PS5 to play a game announced for PS4. Listen to your fans and take care of the bugs and performance issues. I hope to change this review for a better one.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
