    On PS4 slim it's terrible. Crashes, bugs, glitches..blue screen error. And the image resolution it's far from what they presented. Probably with time will be better but for now stay away!!

    Поляки знатно обосрались с запуском игры на pastgen и nextgen. Поиграл 1 час на PS5... текстуры в игре прорисовываются прям на глазах, такое впечатление, что ты смотришь видео на youtube об эволюции графики игр от ps2 до ps4 в реальном времени))) NPC появляются из ниоткуда и пропадают в никуда. Ну и конечно же баги. Вышел патч 1.04, в игру не заходил принципиально. Хочу получить хорошеПоляки знатно обосрались с запуском игры на pastgen и nextgen.     Encountered CE-34878-0 many times on PS4 Pro. Embarrassing. The drop in FPS is also very disappointing.

    La historia es muy buena, los personajes cada uno en su mundo, el combate increíble, la música, la personalización, todos estos apartados son de 10. Ahora bien, en tema técnico ya es otra cosa, es completamente decepcionante en la manera que trabajaron este juego para esta plataforma, es que es vergonzoso, parece un juego de PS3 mal hecho, texturas que no cargan, bajada de FPS con unaLa historia es muy buena, los personajes cada uno en su mundo, el combate increíble, la música, la personalización, todos estos apartados son de 10.     Not very good on ps4 sadly. It’s unfortunate because this can be a great game without the bugs, graphical issues and frame rate dips.

    Tons of bugs. Crashes every few hours. Graphics are terrible at times. Game play is hit and miss. The game is just a mess at this point. There's a good game hiding in there, but it's under a layer of garbage.

Я конечно понимаю, что я играю на железе 14 года, но все равно надо немного подтянуть оптимизацию и все будет хорошо.     В этой игре только сюжет норм, остальное недодел, баги, и мыло много мыла, ещё физика не очем, в гта са и то лучше, мотик на козла поднять нельзя вы серьёзно?

Gameplay is riddled with errors, freezes, glitches, poor graphics, frame rate issues all on a version that was one of three primary versions along with pc and xbox, remembering there is NO next gen version! I feel there has been some real dirty, underhand tactics before and at launch from CDPR and weThe story, characters, setting etc have been great. That said, this is a game not a movie! The lack of transparency is shocking and in any other industry would not be tolerated, but only gaming companies can missell to paying customers in this way and still stay in business. I will see how it goes but I doubt I'll buy another CDPR game now.… Expand

    I wanna say first off it’s a beautiful game the concept for it is beautiful and Night City is also just gorgeous. Well for what I can get without it crashing every 2 hours even when in the middle of a mission when I need to restart cause it crashes. The occasional bugs and glitches. Frame rate is a big issue.     Trying to play this game (v1.04) on a PS4 Pro with internal SSD. For the most part the game looks and runs dreadful. Crashes every 2 hours or so. Lots and lots of bugs and glitches though most of them don't affect gameplay in a really negative way (or maybe i just have very low expectations now regarding this game).     Almost all bad reviews this game got are because of the numerous bugs and glitches the game has which completely ruin the game, but honestly even if those were not there, i would have a hard time actually recommending this game to just about anyone. I was not expecting something as in depth as say Black Desert but when even an unmodded Skyrim can boast to have more customization than your game, we have a problem.

    The game's AI is just awful. games like Oblivion were doing AI that had its own life, schedule it followed and stuff like that & that game came out in 2006. Meanwhile in Cyberpunk, you do as much block their path and they have no idea what to do. Shoot in their general vicinity and civilians will just cower in fear for all eternity.... Speaking of shooting near civilians, the police and wanted system in the game is some baby **** Not expecting something as complex as the one in Red Dead Redemption 2 but the system in this game is insulting. cops literally spawn behind you no matter where you are if you commit a crime and you could cause the biggest massacre in history and then just take a left in the next corner and they will literally stop looking for you... like what's even the point?

    The world is beautiful to look at (unless you are on ps4/xbox but i'm ignoring that part in my review) but it is completely empty of things to do besides the main story... I mean, if you look at the mini map, you will think there's a lot to do with all the markers on it but then you go visit them and find the same objectives in all of them... just go to X zone and shoot some members of a random gang committing a random crime or whatever... I liked to play by sneaking and hacking everything, bc if I'm playing an RPG that lets me sneak and kill everything silently, I will always build that kind of character and I had fun with that at the start... until I didn't bc the AI is awful, like sometimes they could see me in places where they have no business being able to see me and sometimes I could literally pass right next to them and they couldn't see me at all, It's ridiculous. The hacking in the game is superficial at best. I mean, the hacking in Watch Dogs was miles better and that game was already mediocre.

    The only saving grace the game has is the story, the story is actually really good and even that is not flawless... since the game's advertisement had me think that the character origin you pick at the start would actually be important to your character's story like in Dragon Age Origins or at least unlock some small quests and interesting dialogue options that can change the course of a quest like in the first Mass Effect... instead all it does is show you a 10 mins prologue quest that has no influence on the story and fades into the same "6 months later" passage of time montage no matter which choice you pick but after that lame montage the story properly picks up and is great throughout with some great or at least interesting characters.

    There are still so many other flaws I could go more in depth on but I will instead just mention quickly... like the driving which actually made me miss the Mako from the original Mass Effect. The enemies just being bullet sponges that make even fallout 4 look like it has great design in comparison.

    Overall I give the game an 8 out of 10 on story, 7 out of 10 in music/sound design, and 1 out of 10 on gameplay, optimization, difficulty, game design, etc etc,    … Expand

    My heart is broken. Been a giant fan since Assassin of Kings. CDPR released a piece of garbage. I didn’t think it was possible or that they would do it. They lied to you and me. More crashes than any game I have ever paid for. Shame. Took a long time for them to build that reputation and one day to lose it.

    What do i mean? Well i've recently discovered few glitches (2 of them actually crashed my game, the rest could be fixed by finding an exit, or just by loading the different save file). Lemme tell you those two examples:
    1. When there was a mission, where you had to go to a bar between 6:00 pm to 6:00 am (Nomad Path BTW) right at the beginning i've decided to press the Triangle when i was inside the bar, and oh boi, it just crashed, like nothing.
    2. I was riding a motorcycle after killing several civils. Then when i've bumped into something, and nothing happened right? Well, after pressing R2 to kind of recover it crashed again. Ignoring the glitch side, the gameplay is pretty well done, and the plot is pretty neat.
    Please CDP Red. Fix those goddamn glitches, and bugs .
    (PS I was playing on the PS5 btw. Via Boost Mode? Also i've encountered that second glitch even after installing the patch)
    EDIT: Turns out the game is much more unoptimized then i thought. It is so bad, that it crashed on me three times in a row.

    This is an amazing game, the story is compelling as well as the characters and you really feel immersed within Night City. The issue is that the low frame rate, constant glitches, blurry graphics makes the game literally unplayable. On day 1 of the game's release, it literally crashed 4 times (twice in a row each).     Past-gen worse than in gta san andreas, harsh textures, high grainity, and not working scripts, so please make cyberpunk playable, (graphic like in gta v)

    Eu tenho para ps4 o cyberpunk, uma desilusão. Imensos bugs, gráficos a cair drasticamente. Sou de Portugal, nem legendas em PT/BR têm. Um jogo com tantos diálogos e opções de resposta.. Desilusão completa.

Tried multiple times to talk to who I needed to but a pushy npc was stopping me. Had to reload the game and it brought me back to at least 20 minutes before the boss.     I also got a card of eurodollars early in the game and a tip came up to get more information hidden on the card but it was so quick to flash i had no idea how to do it. I searched for 10 minutes through the horrible menu to try to find it then gave up.
    The menu with your inventory is so bad. Also the progression is bad. All the perks are in their own sub category so it takes forever to try to find where you want to apply perk points.    … Expand

    I enjoyed the game the story is good gameplay was good but it’s got so much bugs I’m on series x visual gilt he’s a lot and now I’m actually un able to finish the game I got a never ending load screen on a main mission so I can’t even finish it and I’m 25 hours in games a broken record!!!!

    Very nice game. Wonderful story, sub mission, characters well constructed, really varieties combat sistem instead of stealth or not, but(!) The graphic? Seriously i've lost something? It's like read a book without some pages, you can imagine what's happen but you didn't understand at all.
    Night city, you can just drean what does it mean because when you wake up, and it happens soon, you    Very nice game. I repeat this is a wonderful game, but they have to do, a lot of work, on graphic. We can't play such a really good game like this whit a graphic made by kids.

I signed up to Metacritic to write about this game. I was lucky enough to get the collector's edition, which does have a cool statue, a great art book and few nice trinkets. Unfortunately, that's where the good stuff for this game ends.

    Last night I tried to play and just had to quit playing altogether. In the span of less than an hour I crashed once, ran into two game ending bugs and several other minor bugs.

    The first major bug was an enemy breakdancing and moving at extraordinary speed around the screen while shooting me with a machine gun. He killed me pretty much right away, but even after reloading he still had the same behavior. The only workaround was to stealth in and take him out first before dealing with the other enemies.

    The second major bug is related to the police. I was walking down the street, minding my own business. I go to turn into an alley and then start getting shot at. The police were a good 40-50 yards from me, but were shooting at me. For no reason! I was literally just walking down an alley and got killed for no reason. The AI in this game is so obviously broken.

    The crash last night occurred while accessing the fast travel terminal, which seems to be a common crash point for me within the game. I have crashed at least 3 times at the fast travel terminal.

    I had really high hopes for this game. I can look beyond some missing features and minor bugs to an extent. But the constant crashing, horrendous AI, and major bugs that often result in death are laughable. If I didn't have the collector's edition, I would be definitely be getting a refund because the game is not playable on any version of Sony consoles. CDPR should be ashamed. Oh well, I got a nice statue and art book at least.    … Expand

    "Let down of the year!" and that's coming from the year 2020 so it's saying a lot. This game is nothing it was promised to be 8yrs ago. Buggy, glitchy, crashing, hot mess of a game. It trys to be a bunch of things at once and misses the mark on all of them. The only thing I'll give this game credit for is the cityscape and the way it looks and feels. I want my money back yesterday!

    It's a wannabe Grand Theft Auto in the sense of an open world. NPC's walking to-and-fro, carjacking random cars and having an all out shootout with the police. It fails on every facet if you even try to compare it to GTA V.

    The NPC's are lifeless. They disappear the moment you are no longer looking at them. Vehicles fizzle in and out in front of your eyes, you'll see replicas of the same vehicle all over the place.

    The city is a ghost town in most areas. The wanted system is a joke. The Police spawn right next to you ala Grand Theft Auto Vice City. In GTA V at least they used some intelligence to try and find you. You could shake them off and not have 50 of them appear next to you in a split second.

    The blurriness is absurd, the excessive tearing, the god awful FPS... this game is an absolute nightmare from top to bottom.

    This is the first time in my life that I've ever gotten money back for a digital purchase of a game. The game is so awful in terms of bugs, fun factor... it's a lifeless, soulless husk of a game. Big ambitions with little substance and zero delivery.

    Worst game of 2020 as far as I'm concerned. I even tried it on PC... still an awful mess. Horrible game even with no bugs and crashes. Save your money for GTA VI that'll come out in half a decade from now.    … Expand

The biggest things are just really poor AI. Like it’s not good. A gunshot goes off and nods don’t run they just cower in fear forever. The enemy AI is also poor and enemies from different factionsI started out enjoying the game despite the bugs.     Vith recent update it is possible to play vithout a crash every 10 min, but that is the extent of the positive changes. The voice acting and story seems great, but I simply cant force myself to play through it due to terrible bugs, broken AI, god awful graphics, poor gunplay, frame drops and many many more problems. When in the heat of battle, the health button is badly placed on PS4. Without paddles it would be quite frustrating having to change grip to allow me to use the joystick and heal at the same time. Issues like that and the many many obvious bugs that take very little time to reveal themselves point to lack of attention. Both the health button and the variety of unacceptable bugs are the type that give me the impression very little time was spent checking the playability of the game on PS4. If I only need to play for 20 minutes and can make a list of issues, how hard did they really try? Making a great game is only half of the job. Making it playable and smooth is the other, very vital part of the task at making a great game. It's very disappointing to say the least. If I hadn't gotten it for $25 (amazon gift card) I would definitely return it and wait for a sale. I obtained a physical copy the day it was released. As of Dec 18th, 1:20pm west coast, there has not been 1 single update on PS4. Frankly that makes me just as angry as the bugs themselves. There should have at least been 1 by now. I would recommend being patient and playing one or the other million games out there and wait for this stuff to be resolved.… Expand

Many other games do a much better job than this one. Even older games such as Deus Ex are better games overall (balancing graphics, game play, and pure and simple enjoyment) than CP77. So, I don't think this will be a very pleasurable game to play if you are used to high quality games such as Ubisofts AC series. Even WD Legion is more enjoyable overall and has a similar edgy futuristic feel. Perhaps I am being too harsh on CP77. Since I couldn't even play more than 3 hours of the game. But how could I? The missions system and maps are confusing. The lore is confusing, the game feels dated, the aiming and shooting system is awful and clunky. The way enemies and NPCs act is weird and artificial. The game in its current state has many problems that go beyond the mere bugs and graphics issues people are focusing on. (I was able to play for 3 h because I ran the ps4 version on PS5. A mobile video about a taxi is not hidden, you are not included in the list of mobile contacts and a call with tasks no longer occurs for you. Glitch 2 is that your brain doesn't repair memory cells and you can't do more hacks, this is a terrible dumb glitch.I started playing this game from scratch 3 times. I played at the maximum difficulty level, but out of fear of another glitch, I launched a new game at the easiest one to just beat the game. since at the maximum level of difficulty, you need to use the territory to the maximum, and this is a high probability of catching another glitch.… Expand

Main quests lines are boring as hell, only last part when you once in the game have any choice at all is ok, maybe pretty good, but everything before that is uncooked, unfinished, lacking of pacing, and time you must put, and character development. Its just hollow. Situation rescues some of optional quests, and oh boy, some of them are great, like, really good, fitting in universe, with rich characters, interesting story. Pure honey. But the rest of the same marked side quest are on main story level, so pretty low, or even lower. Some builds are fun, some are plain useless, when you're on the start of the game, uninformed, and you choose one of those failed play-style you're doomed. You must start a new game and grind through same quests, same dialogs, same fights, there's no replay value. One new game and that's all. You won't see any new stuff, nor fights are that good at their own. I really can't believe At this moment that in the future this game will be worth any price on PS4/XBO. But even in the better world, where the game was shipped without any issues, it isn't worth full price. Its just not good game, and those couple of quest aren't worth suffering at all.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really wanted to love this game. It is not a case where a game just as a few good moments that stand out. No, at the the core of this game, it is something special. There is a fantastic game here, just one issue. But, I will get to that later. I will talk about positives. Like I said, the story was way more compelling than I thought it would be. The promo made it seem like it was going to be pure edgelord futuristic stuff, but there are some very emotional moments. Cute little moments that will make you smile, to very dark and introspective moments that will get you thinking more. There are great themes about power, corruption, corporation, what it means to be human, hope. Another big surprise was how fantastic these side quests were. I am not exaggerating when I say that this game had some of the most quality side quests in any game I have played in recent memory. The writing and characterization was also really good too. I don't know how they did it, but a good portion of the characters were so likeable. The only character I was letdown with was Johnny Silverhand, and it is mostly with his performance by Keanu Reeves. Keanu seems like such a nice guy, but his performance here was kind of flat. It is sad because the character himself has a lot of depth. At first he just comes off as a jerk that just makes fun of you, but after a while he becomes someon that you grow a significant attachment to. I just wish they would have directed him more to have a more compelling performance. The gunplay was also surprisingly fun, along with the melees and what you can do with your cybernetics. My only gripe with the gameplay was that the driving kind of sucked. Most of the time I would have rather just walked to my objectives, or walk to a fast travel point to go nearby the objective. On the basis of the things I love about this game, I would have given this game a 9, maybe a 10 on a good sunny day. With that being said, I gave this game a 3 for a reason.
    This is where I talk about the big buggy elephant in the room: the technical performances. The technical performances are honestly god awful. While my experiences were not as bad as people's during launch, it was still a pain to go through. I'm talking random deaths when I platform, healthbars of bosses I already killed not leaving my screen, people I call that won't hangup, and don't get me started with the crashes. For context, I played this game on a PS5. I put in a good 70 hours in my playthrough where I did all the side gigs, the NCPD crime activity missions, and the main story itself. During that playthrough, I must have had at least 20 crashes. Some of these crashes would happen at a point in the game where it was a moving moment. For example, at the game credits, the characters you meet will all send you cute voicemails sending their regards. I was enjoying this little moment until my game just crashed for no reason. I am forgiving when it comes to minor technical issues, but this game was really testing my patience. It was almost like it did not want me to have fun at some points.
    Another thing I am disappointed with was how CDPR managed to tell so many lies about this game. I was so excited about things that were teased such as more interaction with the city, property buying, etc. Most of these things did not show up at the end. While Night City is a pretty beautiful setting, something about it just doesn't feel right. I feel like Night City is more dead than it was planned to be. I was ready to immerse myself and enjoy the setting, but I just ended up forgetting about it and went ahead with the story.
    With this being said, I have hope this game will be better. It will need a lot though. I am hoping this game will be completely different by the end of the year, with the PS5 upgrade, the DLCs, and especially the patch updates. I also hope the DLCs expound more on the endings. I got the star ending, which is considered the best, yet it was still very much bleak and moving. Feels like it is a story worth continuing.
    While I had lots of fun, it was a frustrating experience. I hope that later this year, I can return to this game, and have a way better experience. Maybe it will get the 9 it should have gotten before.    … Expand

And even without bugs, it’s just a mediocre game. Combat is ok (guns are pretty good, but melee is awful), driving is terrible, 80% of the skill tree is useless, and most of the missions are bland, generic open-world filler thatAbsolutely broken and frustrating to play. You’ll have to do the same missions over and over again because something will break at some point before you’re done. And even without bugs, it’s just a mediocre game. Combat is ok (guns are pretty good, but melee is awful), driving is terrible, 80% of the skill tree is useless, and most of the missions are bland, generic open-world filler that you can find in dozens of AAA games every single year. The only redeeming qualities are the setting is pretty cool and some of the main missions are actually pretty fun.     You can tell this game is made by people who really wanted it to be good. This is something some games from makers like Ubisoft and EA miss, where you feel those games are made just for money. You can tell CD wanted this game to be fun but just failed spectacularly. Every (and I mean EVERY) aspect and facet of this game is either glitched, unfinished, or poorly made in some way. Some parts are mostly good and are fun but there's no part of this game that is in 100% tip top shape. I'll go through the parts of the game one-by-one:

    GAMEPLAY/PERFORMANCE:
    Probably the most corrupted and damaging part of the game. Frequent crashes, very slow load times, low frame rates, extreme lag, glitches that affect everything from gun fights and conversations all the way to moving and looking. Thank god this game allowed you to save liberally (although, not in some instances, frustratingly) because the amount of times I needed to reload a save due to some performance failure are too many to count. Things would seem to function in reverse (non-spoiler example: something meant to slow time down instead lags the game so you die before you can react, the opposite effect than the developers intended). There seemed to be a lot of issues with driving, which is big because that's how you get around in the game. Almost every mechanic/function/feature broke in some way during my playthrough, and most things seemed completely unrefined. When they worked, fights and conversations were fun and engaging, but that's WHEN they worked. Odds of that felt like gambling.

    STORY (no-spoilers):
    CD really shines when it comes to story and Cyberpunk has a lot of really great story-telling moments. This is the most redeeming part of the game in my eyes. The writers were clearly skilled and put in a lot of work. This is why I didn't give it a 0/10. There's points where I really felt for the characters and some where the emotional turns of the story hit home for me. Tense bits were tense, thrilling bits thrilling, etc. But glitches hold it back. A game-breaking glitch ruined my main quest enjoyment and side quests also have glitches that sabotage their potential. The most damaging thing for the storytelling were times when something gameplay/performance related took away from the plot, especially when it wasn't a glitch. You could tell an interesting plot had been mangled by time/development/oversight failures. Mostly it's sad and disappointing to see potential go to waste.

    WORLD BUILDING:
    This is the other thing that CD shines at traditionally, but they failed here. The Witcher was a master of world building, this game had a few good moments but quickly becomes vapid. Mostly, it seems like they just didn't have time to fill in a lot of things: some places seem like they were meant for something that never happens; some groups were there but you only have the tiniest interaction with them, some mechanics seem half-cooked as though they were going to be used but then half-scrapped. I got fallout 4 vibes. The world is like a desert: the first time you see one: first you're amazed that it's so big, but quickly you find there's not a whole lot to do in it.

    GRAPHICS:
    This is the most obviously bugged and glitchy thing. Normally I don't mind graphical glitches because they usually don't pull me out of the game much and this is the same for this game. That said, the graphical glitches were BAD... like... the worst I've ever seen... some were haunting, jump-scare level. Most just made it difficult to play the game... or even to see the game.

    OTHER:
    Random things like Settings, controller feedback and other miscellaneous aspects of the game would also break, I don't even know how. I'd repeatedly get a message that my settings were corrupted and reset and sometimes the game would stop recognizing I was pressing buttons (other games would still work so not a hardware issue). I don't understand how many of these even occurred, it's like something an early-access game would do, and even then it'd be bad.

    SUMMARY:
    I've wanted to give CD the benefit of the doubt, especially after hotfixes came out so quick. But the vastness of the issues with this game are inexcusable. There's no way they didn't know the game would be like this. I heard the game works better on PC/Next-gen, and I would have purchased it on one of those, but CD specifically advertised and released the game as a previous-gen game that'd be updated for next-gen. I've waited for updates and patches, but I think the hole they've dug may be too big to fill that easily. Maybe in a year or two, but for now the game is a mess.    … Expand

    No compres el juego si tienes pensado correrlo en una PS4, aun si es la versión Pro.

    Después de varios parches que pesan 140 GB en total el juego aun se encuentra en un estado lamentable. Lo mejor que podemos esperar, si CDProjeck logra la hazaña, es un juego que al final se vea como The Witcher en la Switch sin la excusa de la portabilidad.

    O jogo começa bem, pouquíssimos bugs no prólogo do jogo, cenas de chocar e arrepiar até a alma. Logo após Jhonny silverhand aperecer e o mundo aberto realmente aparecer, o jogo começa a mostrar os sinais de instabilidade e mecânicas mal terminadas. Os bugs são diversos, como carros em baixo do chão quando os chamamos, policiais imortais e teleportando atrás do jogador, armas específicas (como Gorilla Fists) não renderizando e não sendo usável, tendo assim que esperar cerca de alguns segundos pra poder entrar em combate, armas que não atiram mirando, não recarregam, ambientes que te fazem esperar alguns segundos até carregar, não os deixando os acessar ou até mesmo jogando você pra baixo da terra com a renderização mal feita... Esses são os bugs que consigo me lembrar, mas se fosse pra se fazer uma lista, essa Review seria infinita.
    Bugs visuais como não poder começar uma missão pois o NPC não carrega, o ambiente não carrega, a terceira pessoa não ativa no carro, enfim... Bug é o que não falta.
    Em questão das mecânicas mal feitas, foi feito uma divulgação de se poder atirar de dentro de um carro, por exemplo. Porém, essa mecânica só acontece no começo do jogo ou em algumas missões específicas, coisa que era pra ser feita de qualquer lugar
    Jogos como GTA já tem essa mecânica como base pra carros, mas em cyberpunk, voce pode invocar deus e o mundo mecânico fora de um carro, mas dentro deles, seu personagem se torna uma esponja de balas, e rezem pro carro não explodir enquanto você sai dele.
    Outra mecânica como a "não-letalidade" das armas. Isso só muda algumas linhas de diálogo específicas, mas pode ter certeza que não muda nada deixar um inimigo vivo ou estourar a cabeça dele com um rifle de precisão. Joguei com ambas builds melle, armas e stealth. De longe você sobrevive com qualquer uma do jeito que quiser, a variedade de gameplay é grande.
    Só precisava de mais um ano de produção pra ser acabada melhor.
    A história é maravilhosa, se você não se importa com gameplay brigada e malfeita e quer jogar no fácil só pra curtir uma boa história, pode ter certeza que vale a pena! Os personagens tem sua própria personalidade e carisma, cada NPC tem seu estilo e jeito (quando não bugam de alguma forma)
    Então, resumindo? História: ótima! Todo o resto: mal acabado e bugado até o fim, mas consegui terminar o game três vezes, tenho certeza que você também vai

The first time I got to a nice hotel room or condo suite in a high rise but not past training. How many of you reading this got stuck in one of their training modules? The second I had a chance to drive around, hang out at a bar, and I can't even remember how they got out of the IGN story progression outline this time. With a wikipedia describing the full range of the game in addition to IGN's impressive description, all I can say in addition to how stupid do you think we are is how crooked could you possibly be when wikipedia and IGN described the actual game to prospective gamers. This is especially important right now with Hogwarts Legacy being described by critics as containing over 30 quests and over 30 hours of gameplay.

    I have to take a closer look. Did the $550 Playstation, which may have come out the same year as Cyberpunk 2077, just Zombieland my hardrive by taking ud 147 gigabytes without providingg the game? It says 57.01 gigabytes with a 7.48 MB file. That's probably what I paid $20 for. You should be glad you got "57.01" GB file. Let me console you some more by repeating that's "7.48" MB man. The issue is it’s not designed for PS4 or Xbox One and it was sold to people on a lie basically. I should’ve waited, I know. The game should’ve remained on PC and then the version for PS5 and Series X follow next year.     I played it on my ps5 expecting all the issues to be just last gen. I was wrong. The graphics are so bad man. I didn't need to be blown away, just something good but it couldn't even accomplish that. Character models are awful, long distance textures don't load making scaling immersion breaking. I can forgive glitches and what not this early but... these graphics are bad. REALLY bad. TheI played it on my ps5 expecting all the issues to be just last gen. I was wrong.     the storys ok but the bugs are just kicking my ass. im at the point and barley into act 2 where i just dont even wanna play.

    soon as i get into the game it crashes or spaz's out or something happens not due to even playing the game that just is hugly off putting.

    give it a year maybe they'll fix some bugs and it'll be playable. this just flat out reminds me of fallout 76's sh*t all over again, a trend that is getting way to common place in the gaming industry. releasing trash and telling me its truffle laden gold.

    I mean, the artists definitely poured their soul into it... but feels like CDPR just hired random people in the street to work on narrative, pacing and emotional involvement. Things are just dumped onto the player and you... just don't care because you have no idea who is this Guy A, what he wants to do to Guy B, why you need to get Girl C, whether you want to go for optional task X to grab item Y and do Z.

    I just.. couldn't care less because the narrative IS NOT built properly. The game does nothing to get me in and engaged and just does its thing. Feels very bland.    … Expand

    I don’t care how ambitious the game is. Aside from the graphics complaints that everyone has voiced over and over, the mechanics of the game are poorly done. Combat is not rewarding at all. Horrible gun play, horrible melee. No real interaction with environment. Just a knock-off, poor quality GTA set in the future.

    I feel bad for this game when it boots up and it displays the "Red Engine" logo like its something to be proud of lol.

    When it works correctly, it can be fun. It is NOWHERE near as immersive or complex as they claimed it would be (the crowd behavior and density is bad, it looks and feels like an abandoned city).

    Pros:
    - Shooting is pretty good, melee is "okay"
    - When it works, it is fun to play
    - Good "mature" story
    - Cyberpunk theme/backdrop

    CONS:
    - Its still broken, even after months of patches, its still broken on a fundamental level.
    - Missing lots of features that were promised: Branching/unique story, Owning property/apartments (You get an armory/gun wall... that you can't display guns on. ???)
    - Driving is horrendous
    - Physics are laughably bad
    - Light crowds and often non-existent traffic makes the city feel abandoned.
    - Police spawn instead of "arrive" at your location
    - Enough bugs and glitches to stretch to the moon and back
    - Weiners, weiners everywhere. On apartment walls, in shops, in bathrooms. I've never seen so many dongs in a game before.

    As bad as the PS4 version is on PS5, somehow the base consoles are worse. This is wrong, more so than most games before it because even a game like Anthem wasn't this broken at launch. Maybe Fallout 76 was worse. Maybe.

    This game was in early alpha, it wasn't even remotely close to being finished and even after (5?) months of patches and fixes, its still broken.

    CDPR had the respect and trust of the industry as well as the consumer and they just flushed it all down the toilet with this release. I fully expect them to declare at the end of this year that "its fixed" meaning they're going to abandon it, Andromeda style.

    Wait for a deep discount or for the "its fixed" declaration and probably don't play on base consoles.    … Expand

The entire marketing around this game was deceptive, as CD Projekt Red never showed the way game works on the original Playstation 4, but assured gamers that it works "surprisingly well". Avoid at all costs.

For clarification: The PC version is better and if you cant wait you should go for it (Warning: There is a bug that corrupts your save-file when it gets bigger than 8 MB atop of less but still numerous bugs than the console versions). According to rumors the PS4 Pro version runs also a bit better (Warning: Second hand knowledge as I don't own it). Back to the game: The bugs contain but are not limited to: Slow downs, crashes, graphical glitches (atop on ugly graphics), teleportation / moving through wall characters, NPCs gone missing, hovering in mid air weapons / objects and KI doing hilarious funny stuff. This game was shipped unfinished and it not an accident as the bugs could not be missed. It is the intentional “Release it now and fix it later“ mentality that broke the game. Sadly I see the great game underneath it all and I think this makes it even worse. Gameplay-wise it is also not polished enough as many parts don't fell smooth. I think they should have taken more time to iron out the bugs and improve the gameplay. This could be one of the greatest mistakes of a game publisher. The fans are up in arms, the investors feel cheated (and want to sue CD Project Red), the stocks were down at the time of writing and the great reputation is destroyed or at least tainted. This will not be forgotten as there is no way that people will see this malpractice as accident. Overall avoid this game at the current state! Wait until there is a version available were patches fix the problems of the game (Can take a while as there are many).… Expand

    Is unforgettable what CD Project Red make, I'll never trust this company again. My only hope is CD make this game run in 30 FPS stable. A little tip turn off all the grafics filters to have a more "clean" performance.

    This is a great game, sure there are a few bugs in the game, which Project Red admitted there would be, but a few hours in and I haven't once face any of the big bugs that people seem to be having. Would have been a 10 if it wasn't for the bugs.

    Lançar um jogo cheio de bug assim e que mal roda em um console dps de tanto delay e tanto crunch é no mínimo insultante... ainda mais pra quem comprou no PS4 ou no Xbox One...
    Vejo um potencial mt grande no jogo, mas foi jogado fora quando não deram atenção devida para o PS4 e XBOX One. Não teve respeito    Perdi bastante do respeito q tinha pela CD Projekt com esse lançamento de Cyberpunk.

    Where are the meaningful choices? where are the story where you actually built connection to the rest of the world? how the **** are this world changes with your choices when they barely react at all. Where are the narrative flows that made Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine Game of the **** Year for multiple years??

    Not even a "thank you" from the side mission NPC after you saved them?? What is this garbage AI from 2002?

    AC Valhalla was more of an RPG than this ****

    I'm a fan of this studio since the first Witcher but after this game and Todd Howard level of lies and deceptions from trash, I'm done with them. Hell will freeze before I touch or preorder anything off this garbage studio ever again.

    Lazy, unspiring, bland, **** mediocre.

    После 3х часов , глаза мои вытекли . И это я играл на PS4 Pro , что творится на обычной слимке , страшно подумать . Мне наплевать на сюжет, на проработку мира , диалоги, если отвратительная техническая часть .

    It's hard and hard to play. Frames, friezes, bugs. Problems on both PC and PS4.

    For now this game is unplayable piece of garbage, resolution on my PS4 sometimes 144p, frame rate is 15-20, bugs, glit ches. I don't recommend for anybody. Maybe few years fixing and we will have a good game I don't know. 1 scores for interesting idea and another one for Keanu Reeves somewhere in the game, but still I just didn't reach so far.

    I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
