    the framerate drops and bugs make this game unplayable. it renders embarrassingly slow which makes you have to wait for textures to load everywhere you go. all in all, the game is still a work in progress - this is only getting a two for my love of keanu and porsches.

    100% hype, 0% effort to make a working game. And patches wont save this, the gameplay just terrible because of the braindead desing. After 24+ hours of gameplay, It’s not the RPG that was billed to the consumer. It is a decent linear story that plays out in an open world environment. The NPCs only act as set pieces, reciting the same one liners and crouching in identical positions when the player does anything violent. They drive in pathways that are painfully obvious and simply stop whenever there are any obstacles. Almost everything can be cheesed with stealth and de-aggroing. Many simple objects like chairs and machines are inaccessible, not even allowing for the player to participate in the world unless given a prompt from a mission. The immersion is just not there. I personally can handle bugs and crashes, but I dislike that this game was sold as something it isn’t.    … Expand

    Лгали даже на презентациях, делали трейлеры на ПК только геймпад от Xbox подключали типа графон на Xbox минимальный. А показалось на Xbox и PS4 графон как на PS3. Выпускали на три платформы и не смогли на двух стульях разом усидеть. Самого начала делали игру на ПК, человека который играет на ПК и PS4 Pro в эксклюзивы не сможете очки лжи одеть. И ещё дальше лгут после выхода игры! ДажеЛгали даже на презентациях, делали трейлеры на ПК только геймпад от Xbox подключали типа графон на Xbox минимальный.     On the PS4 Pro there may be a decent game in that sh*t show that we were given but it is not to be seen at least until end of 2021 (if ever). Crashes, stutters, terrible AI, messed up quests. Today Update 1.1 fixed minor bugs and introduced new game breaking ones. Just a month later after release the game is already 50% off, a big slap in the face toThis game is such a big disappointment.     Cyberpunk is a gigantic let down. It’s literally a joke inside a dumpster fire. That being said, the glitches are hilarious.

    Ignoring all of it's incredibly apparent technical flaws and glitches, Cyberpunk 2077 is an over-complicated, unfocused mess of a game. It's just not fun to play.

    It had potential, but due to the amount of glitches, hellish development cycle, and poor performance, this game is busted.
    Plus the CEO did some false advertising too!
    The FPS on PS4 is super low.
    What was the development cycle? How did they make a broken and buggy mess!
    On the upside, the PC version is actually better than the console versions...... what?

As of 1/24/2022, over a year after launch, playing on a ps5, I've sunk almost 200 hours and 2 character playthroughs and have been met with at least 20 straight up crashes, just poof, exits game no warning, bugged missions that cant be finished, vehicles disappear before you can acquire (see nomad car). Weapons that bug out as permanent questI made this account just to rate this game.     I played this game on PlayStation 4 Pro. Game version is 1.61.

    I started playing in March 2023, almost two and a half years after the game came out (December 2020). It was 80% off and there's a good reason why it was so cheap. The graphics are very beautiful at times and then again in the next moment the graphics are like I was playing on the PlayStation 3. The story is interesting,    I played this game on PlayStation 4 Pro. Game version is 1.61.

    I started playing in March 2023, almost two and a half years after the game came out (December 2020). It was 80% off and there's a good reason why it was so cheap.

    The graphics are very beautiful at times and then again in the next moment the graphics are like I was playing on the PlayStation 3. The story is interesting, but it is nothing special. This game tries to be a mix between GTA, Watch Dogs and the Netflix series called Altered Carbon. The city seems empty, soulless and there are generally few vehicles and people on the streets. The game fails to load the world while running around town. You stand still and then you see how different things appear around you.

    Unfortunately, this game still has a lot of bugs and issues. Some examples of what I have encountered:
    1. This is the first game that has managed to turn off my PS4 Pro in the middle of playing without any warnings.
    2. There was no indication on the screen to collect things in the world, I had to press a button repeatedly and aim the object in the middle of the screen to pick it up. Guess what, it showed up after I had played the game for about 8 hours.
    3. In order to run in the game, I had to jump in the air first, and only then I was able to activate the running function.
    4. When driving around with a car, it sometimes jumps into the air by itself for no reason.
    5. Sometimes there were absolutely no gun sounds of the shooting in the gameplay. Music just played in the background.
    6. The AI sometimes behaves very strangely. Enemies appear randomly, they spin in the air, jump around here and there, all this is before they start shooting me.
    7. The list could be endless, if I don’t stop here.

    After playing for 11 hours, I encountered such a bug that there was no way around it. I tried many different solutions and finally gave up. This same issue has been around since the game came out and the developer still hasn't fixed it. The internet is full of posts about this problem. My version of the game is 1.61, which came out November 2022. However, it is now the middle of March and there has been no update to the game in the last 3 months. Have they given up on fixing this game? “I walk the line” quest got me completely stuck. More precisely, it is a task called “Find the agent in the cinema.” Industrial shutters remain shut and there’s no way to fix it. I tried various possible solutions (loading old save game, restarting mission, doing things in different order, restarted PS4 Pro etc.) on the internet, and nothing worked. Other players have had the same problem and have also not been able to resolve it.

    This game is still full of glitches and bugs. I can't recommend this game at all.

    It is unbelievable they would release a game in this state. It is barely playable. Textures don’t load, it crashes and the frame rate is awful. Stay away.

This could have been a game 10/10 but it’s a massive flop. I feel sorry for art team cause it’s a few of the only good things of the game. Also first person doesn’t quite fit this game.     Where to begin.. I really wanted to like this game but visual problems, low framerate, bugs and glitches. This literally looks like a last gen game. There is no excuse for it. What were they doing for 8 years And there did that millions of dollars on budget go too? it's baffling. I would get a refund if I could as I feel like scammed out of my money.

Worst graphics I've ever seen on this system from the get-go. Incredibly blurry posters, hot/cold color indicator on the tap in the sink... everything in this game looks awful.     I have to confess I played only about 7 hours, but these are 7 hours I will never get back...

    I can forgive a lot but... yesterday my main quest crashed and today I had 2 blue death screen!
    There is a lot of issues, small bugs or glitches. Like cops spawn behind you.

    I believe in CDP, this could be a good game, but not on PS4, period. The game is unplayable.

    PS4 BUYERS BEWARE! At the time of writing this review this is the situation on PS4: Texture streaming issues, FPS below 20, application crashes, NPCs glitches and bugs and horrible optimization. Do not waste your money, the game is currently unplayable on PS4. These are the issues nobody mentioned on their review.

Full of glitches, NPCs not acting correctly, certain questions can not be completed, this game will literally corrupt save files if they exceed 8MB! Seriously, who the whole puts a cap on save files atPlaystation 4 version is broken, avoid this game. At best I would probably recommend getting this game 6 or 7 months after the launch date but buying now will only lead to frustration. The game is 720p and 20fps with patch 1.04, which is unacceptable, it looks blurry and the low frame rate makes it almost unplayable, just look at the tables and walls of the bar at the very beginning, most of those textures are like 144pI give the game 1 because it has a very good packaging.     I've crashed more in Cyberpunk then any other game in the last two decades.
    There is a good game in there somewhere. The setting and mechanics are interesting. But Cyberpunk suffers from horrible performance. Like really horrible, the view distance, fps, npcs and cars loading infront of you, the radio freezing the game everytime you bring it up.
    I highly doubt they are going to be able    I've crashed more in Cyberpunk then any other game in the last two decades.

    Deleted after 4 hours play. Bugs are a nuisance, but not the worst issue. Awful game, horrible gameplay. Don't understand sinking 3 magazines, including headshots, to kill 1 enemy. Graphics are nothing special, either - same/similar landscape throughout. Over-hyped, waste of money.

    Currently unplayable on PS4. Frames often drop below 20, textures and animations often don't load in properly. The visuals are absolute garbage, the worst I've seen on PS4. The gameplay feels very glitchy with poor AI. The world itself feels interesting, but hard to explore when the performance is so terrible.

    There is a legitimate foundation here that could have provided one of the best video game experiences in many many years if not ever. Sadly what is great about this game only serves to shine the brightest of lights on what is horrible about it. Going forward dont expect RPG's CDPR. Expect "games" to be used as set ups for TV shows and disappointment. CDPR is dead.

    Der einst Gute Ruf ist zerstört. Was der Entwickler hier fabriziert haben. Der Umgang mit den eigenen Fans. Ich rate von einem Kauf für die "alten Systeme" ab. Die zwei Punkte vergebe ich für die sehr hochwertige Synchronisierung und Storie.

    I played for about 120 hours on PS5. I tried to do a lot of things in the game.
    Ehat makes this game worse is the overhype that came along. It literally brought me on a high peak before the game, meaning that the fall was awful when I encountered all it’s flaws.
    I even got a couple of bugs that prevented me to progress on 2 of story missions and 2 gigs. Luckly i had previous saves and i could carry on with the missions, but to finish those gigs i wasn’t so lucky. I had to start the game all over again and finish those specific areas for the platinum.
    Playing this game was like dodging bullets for me. Maybe for other players it will be fine, but I definitely don’t recommend it to anyone. For me this was one of the biggest deceptions of recent years and I still think that CDPR got off easy on this one. Makes you wonder if the witcher 3 was a fluke.    … Expand

That said, with Cyberpunk 2077, it is the first time I chose NOT to play a game I've waited long for because my immersion is broken at literally every 5-10 seconds of gameplay. The framerate is, at all times, nowhere near the 30fps mark.Being a PS4 Slim owner, I am not extremely exigent and I do my share of expectation managing when it comes to recent AAA titles released on the platform. That said, with Cyberpunk 2077, it is the first time I chose NOT to play a game I've waited long for because my immersion is broken at literally every 5-10 seconds of gameplay. The framerate is, at all times, nowhere near the 30fps mark. I did not expect the game to run on a 100% stable 30fps, but I certainly did not expect framerates as low as 15fps and a CONSTANT 20-23fps on open areas and even frequent drops on indoors locations. Sadly, beyond this (or maybe because of this) there are also clear mechanical issues. Sprinting and using heaing items is absolutely irresponsive, sometimes I have to press the button 3-4 times until the game responds.

    I am extremely disapointed. We all know the base ps4s are dated hardware but we've seen many other extremely demanding games delive a much better experience on the platform. I've managed to play AC Valhalla, for an example, even with its share of problems, Horizon Zero Dawn, Control, The Last of Us 2, God Of War (even though some of these are not open world games)... the list goes on. Besides that, you have announced the game many years ago and launched this product for PC and CURRENT GEN consoles, when its clear next gen consoles (even Xbox Series S) are running it more properly (still, there are bugs, but at least the immersion is there with a good framerate).

    CDPR has launched an unfinished product. They ran out of time and it shows. SAMO story that we faced with the Final Fantasy Versus XIII/XV situation. I just hope on this case the developer actually gets to fix it. My feelings for all the employees who have worked/are working on this game and had to crunch under an impossible deadline (and certainly voiced it).

    I really wish CDPR fixes the base console state, as much as it pains me to think how much more crunch it will probably generate for their employees.

    Finally, the widespread fact that the project paid itself with pre-sales is proof that the game industry needs some radical changes. As console version consumers, we are utterly disrespected.

    I'm giving it a 1/10 'cause I realize how good of a game this is, but you lose 9 points as its an unfinished project.    … Expand

    Aside from graphics, the gameplay and non-main story quests are boring, clunky, and uninspired. Again, I could compare them to Fallout 3 and/or New Vegas. Those games felt interesting and, while the gunplay was nothing to write home about, it was serviceable. CP2077's gunplay is nigh infuriating at points. Aiming is pinpoint accurate which makes landing a shot with ranged weapons a chore rather than an enjoyable challenge. Melee combat is flat and stale as the combos are clunky and repetitive. This is especially true for hand to hand combat. Weapons are more tolerable, but unarmed combat is... painfully implemented.

    The game was clearly optimized for a PC with consoles being and afterthought, and that is being generous. The false advertising involving consoles and the deliberate blocking of console gameplay CD Projekt RED enforced upon reviewers before release are atrocious tactics that would be utilized by the corporations that CP2077's world rails so heavily against.    … Expand

    Crashes constantly on Playstation 5. Settings lost frequently so have to reconfigure basic things like subtitle size, HDR, etc. over and over again. Interesting story and world but not particularly immersive or great looking. Was not ready to be released, and shouldn't have been for this price.

    Terrible on PS4. Graphics are underwhelming, countless glitches and crashes. Developers better fix this. Right now after 5 hours of play the crashes make this game unplayable. Game doesn't live up to the hype. NPCs are terrible as they have mundane 1 line responses when you talk to them. Watchdogs Legion ten times a much better interactive open world game

    I want my money back!! This was not ready for release. Bugs EVERYWHERE!!!! Playing on a PS4 and it’s just ugly. Concept is the only blu thing good about it. Execution was horrible. They need to fire all of their execs who pushed this out in this condition. I’ll never buy another game from this developer. Completely untrustworthy.

I am begging you, DO NOT buy this game unless you have a series X or a PS5. How this passed quality assurance baffles my mind.

    If I could actually play this game without it looking like a blurry ugly mess, or my character not being able to draw his weapon or stand up, or my arms not loading, or running into objects that haven’t loaded in whatsoever, or crashing every hour,I would likely be giving it a 9. Instead I am sitting here completely giving up on playing this game.

    This is unacceptable and feels almost like theft, to the people kissing CDPRs ass and calling reviews like mine hyperbolic are either blind fanboys or playing on PS5. I actually do plan on getting a PS5 when they are back in stock, but you literally can’t at the moment.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
