    Bugs. Graphical issues, low population density, texture loading, NPC disappearing, low resolution, mission problems, horrible lighting issues, controller problems, changing view in vehicles is hit and miss, sometimes it works but most of the time I have to stop the car, wait for the world to load in around me then the view will change. The story is great, the characters are great, theBugs.     Years working with Cyberpunk 2077 and the result is a completely bad worked game and with many lies told.

Then you get to drive around the city and the facade collapses, or rather melts like city blocks of mozzarella. The graphics are atrocious, at times it looks like PS2 graphics.     Unplayable piece of trash. 15-20 fps, 480p. A lot of bugs. This is what we've been waiting for for 8 years? This is what the transfers were for? Deceive us. All gameplay moments were shown from the PC.

    This is the biggest disapointment for a game I wantes to get on day 1. Its an ugly game on ps4. It is unplayable and I am ,ot one to be picky with bugs at launch.

    What sucks more is that CDPR tried to cover this up! I thought they cherrished their consumer friendly rep? What the heck happened CDPR???

    This game is absolutely broken on PS4 (and I have the pro one). The AI is terrible, the world feels the opposite to alive. The story is good so far, but some bugs and glitches break the immersion. If I compare this game with Red dead Redemption 2...oh boy, its not even a fair battle...

    Let us assume the game has zero bugs. the game itself is lifess . it barley touch the rpg elements. ps2 AI . the overall game feel like a weak cheap game. really it has major flaws in every aspect of the game.

I knew going into this game it was going to be buggy. I didn't know that within playing it for 5 hours it would literally crash out of the game with error messages 4 times!!     Just throwing in my 2 star review. I want to love the game on PS4 but I can’t. Absolute corporate greed (ironic given the themes of the game)! The game runs horrifically on PS4, it feels about 70% finished, with no polish.

    I heavily regret pre-ordering this and feel like there should be legal action (or change in legislation) to prevent this predatory, false marketing practice. Never again.

    The game is really fun... when it works(approximately half the time). This game is a HUGE mess, not even close to ready for release. They just shouldn't have even released it for ps4 since they knew that it didn't work.

    I wanted to love this game. It is the first game I ever pre-ordered apart from skyrim but it doesn't run on ps4. It lags and shudders on most encounters I could only play the prolouge and afew side missio

For a AAA game it looks very unfinished and many of the features that should of been included in this game are missing.

    If it's not the constant crashing for no apparent reason every 20 minutes, the game breaking bugs you encounter can be a real pain in the ass. On one of the missions a guy who was meant to come out of the lift, got stuck and kept flipping in and out of the gaming area. You needed to kill and collect something from this character and if you were able to successfully do this, the character would most of the time die and lie outside the gaming area completely breaking the game.

    When driving at high-speed in a car the textures of the road and buildings will either be missing or take time to appear properly. Even the NPCs while walking around either skate around the area, have missing limbs or their lips don't move during dialogue. Also the game will constantly freeze at random periods for a few seconds especially in graphic intense areas.

    The only saving grace for this game at the moment is the pretty good autosave function, which at least chugging through the game a bit more bearable. The missions and side missions are plentiful and some of them are quite complex, but there are others that will fail without you really knowing what you did wrong.

    The life path you choose have very little effect in the overall game, whether you choose Nomad, Street Kid or Corporate apart from the 30 minute introduction mission you literally end up in the same place and doing the same missions. Dialogue choices do not really make that much difference since you will be going ahead doing missions the same way no matter what.

    There are tonnes wrong with how the game works missing turns when driving in cars happens all the time, since the map does not dynamically change dependent on the speed you are going. If you commit a crime then expect the most invincible police force to ever grace a game spawn right next to your character from nowhere.

    The weapons, clothing, Cyberware and the mods you can get are pretty lack lustred and have not been fully developed to add to the gameplay or make it unique. Also you need to get really far in the game and almost complete the game before you can either afford or are allowed to purchase the more legendary items. By then you will not need these items since you will have completed the game.

    CD Project Red will need to work really hard adding new features and fully optimising the game for previous generation consoles. since this is the biggest customer base and they need to satisfy the millions who have pre-ordered the game.

    They need to produce a roadmap and let customers see their plans for the future and also see how quickly they are going to release patches. More needs to be added to this game since it is supposed to be an open world game and more random encounters and uniqueness is needed.

    Also the city needs to come alive with more pedestrians and vehicles to make it a vibrant and full futuristic experience. The streets are very empty most of the time and dependent on where you are you will see absolutely no cars or people.

    For a AAA game this has got to be one of the most over-hyped disasters the gaming industry has ever encountered. Even Fallout 76 had more content and less bugs than this complete mess and it did actually work on PS4 base consoles also.

From pop-in, falling through the world, constant crashes, slow loading textures that sometime take 20+ seconds to fully render in, N64 looking NPCs, vehicle physics gone wild, T-Posing NPCs, unplayable frame rates that almost constantly stay at 15, this gives Rockstar's "Grand Theft Auto IV" PC port and Bethesda's "Fallout 76" a run for their money.

    Congrats CD Projekt Red, you accomplished what only Hello Games' "No Man's Sky" managed to do. I hope you're happy with yourselves. As for Sony, delist Cyberpunk 2077 from the PS4 store and give out refunds accordingly, you got a lot of support tickets to handle.

    UPDATE (11/8/2021): Cyberpunk 2077 has been updated on last gen for an entire year to improve performance and stability. This is rather good and all, however it should have been this way since launch. But nope, you did your best to show only the PC version because you knew it would be a dumpster fire the moment it hits store shelves. You are going to stay in the red for me, CD Projekt Red.     The story for the few hours I have seen looks promising, but I can't say if I hate it or like it yet.

    I will wait to play this game, to when I get my hands on a Ps5 with a stable 60 fps, and hopefully by then alot of bugs fixes, and performance fixes have been made.

    The reason I give it a 2 and not a 0 or 1 is that I see potential in the game, just not in the state it is in now.

    CDPR used to have my utmost support. But there is no excuse for this. This game is unfinished, and a total sham. Congratulations on duping thousands of people out of money during a pandemic during covid for something that is simply not good enough. I will be waiting 6-12 months to see if 1. You fix it and 2. Don't charge full price. What a joke.

The frame-rate is abysmal whenever seomthing actually happens on screen.
    The textures (once they load) are muddy and blurry. It's like having Vaseline in your eyes and shooting enemies comes down to aiming at a red mark, because you can't really make out their faces/bodies if they're more than 10 meters away.
    I can deal with downgraded graphics but if it looks SO MUCH worse than, for example, a 3.5 year old Horizon: Zero Dawn, you're doing something wrong. Worst part is, they apparently knew, as there were no console reviews allowed before the release.
    The game as such looks promising, the atmosphere (from what I've been able to tell) is convincing and the voice acting is great. However, the flaws on last gen are overwhelming and I just can't give this a better score.

    This is horrible. We should be getting refunds. the graphics are poor, rendering is trash, it takes 3-5 seconds for faces to load in. Random lag spots and frequent crashes. This is a crime and it's called fraud.

    Impossible de se mettre dans la peau du personnage tellement l' écriture est mauvaise.
    Les missions sont insipides et sans relle intérêt. La mission principale est dénuée de tout tension et suspense.
    Une belle nullité en somme.
    Je donne 2 pour le temps de travail.
    C'est une honte de vendre ce jeu à 70.-

Sure the frame rate is okay on PS5, but what about the myriad of bizarre, immersion breaking bugs which seem to be present across all platforms?     The games is borderline unplayable at the moment with all the graphical and technical issues on top of that performance is very bad. It looks very soft a blurry for most part. I understand that the hardware isn't strong enough to run the game comfortably but they knew what they're working with and you either make the game work or you just don't bother at all.     My first review here. To be honest, it's the first time in my life that I play a game with such blurry graphics and constant popping issues. I had to stop because of headaches after 30min due to the constant blurriness and fps drop. Will wait to get a PS5 and the next gen update.

    Just cannot recommend anyone buy this game until they fix all the issues, the never ending bugs and pop ins and textures is just bad, I cannot stress enough how bad this game is, also for the devs (Management) to decieve customers by not showing us PS4 and Xbox versions is downright shady. First 10 minutes of the game I was already encountering T pose npcs, characters whos textures havent loaded in looking like ps1 models, I've had 5 crashes in under 3 hours with the game. After 1.04 FPS increased really slightly, around 2-3 fps more but visual bugs and game-breaking crashes remained. Never expected this sort of mess from CDPR. Huge disappointment.     I see people saying you can’t ask a 2013 console to run a 2020 game, yet every other company that launched a title this year has been hammered if they had any bugs or performance issues. The way this was released would’ve taken at least another 6 months to fix..so they did it anyway, even after 4 delays. Imagine the pile of steaming neon crap this would’ve been if they released it in April, since this is a “good for launch” product. Stop supporting these guys.     I played this after the 1.6 update which pretty much removed all the bugs only to find out that the bugs weren't the bad part of this game. This game is boring, bland and a chore to play. The open world is dead and unimaginative. Waste of time and money

    I’m playing the game on PS5 however some of the the texture resolution is so low they look like something taken out from a 15 yo game. Also the character model in the mirror reflection is insanely low quality too.

    I’m gonna shelve the game until the next gen patch is out.

    Regarding the game itself, while showing promise it is also greatly disappointing. It feels like it's 2009 and Borderlands came out, while being unplayable. It's full of NPCs that do nothing, AI is terribly stupid and the whole environment feels so hollow and soulless. It shows potential, some of the missions are kinda fun, but it gets ruined by the lack of depth. Or maybe they added too much depth, don't know. Stealth and melee combat on FPS is also not really working, who the f*** thought of that.

    Maybe they will manage to fix the terrible bug issues in a few months and let it become a functional game. I doubt though that it will live up to its hype. It feels soooo dated.    … Expand

    Regret buying this game on PS4 pro, everything looks awsome on PC but on PS4 it looks like crap. The game I played before this was Ghost of tsushima and compared to that game this looks like a PS3 game... Really hope its gona look better in the future because now its unplayable and is going on the shelf untill fixed...

    Im from Portugal, and i played (i dont know how i could play this game so long) for 14 hours in PS4. This game starts with loading screen images bug, menus delay are insane, the option for accepting and tracking missions by the cellphone are delayed, sounds, gunshooting, etc are too **** delayed, everything is a mess. I demand my money, after that i dont want ot know what cdproject will do in the future, this game is a joke.     The matter is, this is a PS4 game. It's not specifically a PS4 Pro game, it isn't a PS5 game (yet). The game was supposed to target the base PS4 and anything beyond that was supposed to just be an improvement. The performance of this game isn't just unacceptable for this game, it simply isn't acceptable for any game.

I'm still to rate games story and other aspect but graphically, finishing wise, the game sucks. FPS drops, rendering issues, glitches and bugs. You name it. Shame

Somehow people are allowing CDPR to get away with it. I’m glad at least here people can rate it accordingly. I’m playing on a PS5 so I don’t know how good things look on 4 (due to the the performance differences) but we are still speaking about the PS4 version (as a PS5 version will only come in 6 months or so).… Expand

    Gram na konsolach od 2000roku tak źle z optymalizowanej gry na nich jeszcze nie uświadczyłem. CD Projekt Red, aby wyjść z twarzą z tej całej sytuacji powinien cene gry na PS4 i Xone obniżyć do 170zł czyli o 25euro, a graczom którzy kupili tą grę w pre-order powinni oddać 100 zł czyli 25euro, ponieważ za taką jakość jaką ta gra prezentuje należy się rekompensata.

CDPR needs to apologize and do something pretty big to stay relevant. Even if it was technically polished the game has nothing going for it except its story... It's a worse blunder than anthem. I'm playing on PS4 Pro and this truly looks and performs like an average PS3 game. I cannot aim because the camera randomly pans in all different directions without me touching the analog sticks. Textures take forever to pop in so you're left staring at these blurry blobs that are actually important NPCs or vehicles. The FPS is like around 20 consistently. It's hard to imagine a greater failure and disappointment from a developer I previously adored. This game should have been canceled on PS4/XB1 and made only for next gen and high end PCs but CDPR wanted to cash in first so they took our money and gave us this piece of garbage.     The state that this game released in is absolutely disgusting and needs to be called out. Its literally unplayable. Crashes are frequent, bugs are everywhere and overall fps is miserable. I don't care if they are going to fix this in 3 months or so I pre ordered a trash in its current state.

Üstüne üstlük açık dinya da rastgele birilerine dalarken sık sık ilk birkaç ateş sesim gelmiyor, boşa sıkıyomuş gibi hissediyosun. Açık dünya biraz anlamsız tek yaptığın millete dalmak.     Cyberpunk 2077 for the PS4 is one of the most disrespectful products a client could buy, and loses its badge of trust.
    Announced in 2013, released to the XBOX One/PS4 generation as a near-unplayable game, full of bugs, glitches and performance issues.
    A score of 2/10 in my eyes feels more than it should.

    It look horrible and has so many game breaking bugs (I couldn’t even continue the game at one point). The gameplay is nothing groundbreaking but ok and the story is not very original but still decent and enjoyable. But it is impossible to get past the bugs and visuals.

    On the base PS4, this game is borderline unplayable. It’s plagued by severe frame rate drops, so many bugs that break the immersion and everything looks so blurry, like PS3 games. Most critically, the city looks dead. There are barely any cars or people and it’s nothing like how CDPR advertised this game. And those of you saying, “tHeN gET A pC,” no.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
