    The game on base consoles runs like a slide show.
    The PS4 pro version has only 3 cars driving through night city, frequent observation of the same character models walking next to each other I last saw that in GTA SA ironically that game at least had better performance, crowd density is extremely low.

    I've never encountered so many bugs in a launch tittle in my life like this one. How did someone looked at this and said that it was anywhere to "good enough to release". What bothered me the most is how blurry the PS5 version (before the next gen patch) looks, it's a blurry mess, it looks like 1080p on a 4k display with zero upscaling. The PC version is the only one that looks at leastI've never encountered so many bugs in a launch tittle in my life like this one. How did someone looked at this and said that it was anywhere to "good enough to release". What bothered me the most is how blurry the PS5 version (before the next gen patch) looks, it's a blurry mess, it looks like 1080p on a 4k display with zero upscaling. The PC version is the only one that looks at least sharp but the geometry and the animation of the game are so basic, that it really looks like an PS3 game in some points. The NPCs are so repetitive and they all say the same thing, there is almost zero interaction with them (except the ones that the game clearly makes it obvious that you can interact) and they just say generic stuff. Seriously I've talked to 3 NPCs and they said the exact same sentence in a row with the same voice, horrible.
    The city is very well done, but you can't interact with anything, it's just there to look good.
    The only thing that saves this game are the game's lighting, which is really good, making everything colorful and vibrant (but it's like a make up to hide how simplistic the graphics are in reality) and the story and characters of the main story which really create a connection with you and makes you very interested in the story. This is the only reason that I'm not giving it a lower score, the game is extremelly unfinished.    … Expand

    I assume the game itself is great from what I hear. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible for me to play it due to the numerous bugs and glitches on the older gen consoles. CD Red should be ashamed of themselves for releasing an unfinished game. I do not recommend this game until they release significant patches to fix the 30 fps cap and the extremely long list of glitches which includeI assume the game itself is great from what I hear. Unfortunately it is nearly impossible for me to play it due to the numerous bugs and glitches on the older gen consoles. CD Red should be ashamed of themselves for releasing an unfinished game.     Unplayable on PS4. Missing textures, low frame rates and resolutions. No life or immersion in Night City - that’s when it’s not crashing. So incredibly disappointed

    I want my money back. this game is overhyped and overrated. this is exactly what happens when you overrate games so much. it's been in development for almost 10 years countless delays and it is still full of bugs and bad optimization on release day. this is why I don't pre order

Bossowie blokowali się w teksturach albo znikali po cichej eliminacji. Soundtrack super, fabuła wciąga. W misjach, gdzie gra jest liniowa i zamknięta, błędów jest mniej i można się wciągnąć. W ciągu kilku godzin znalazłem setki błędów, gdzie byli beta testerzy? Fallout 76 w dniu premiery wyglądał lepiej i był bardziej grywalny, mimo ze to odgrzewany fallout 4 z 2015r.… Expand

    Feel very let down by CDPR and that they lied to us. Next generation of open world gaming.........yeah think again CDPR. This feels like a serious step down. Red Dead Redemption 2 makes your game look like an absolute joke.

    I have never posted on Metacritic but I had to share my thoughts on this game. I want this company to do well and I pray that they keep updating this game to make it a 10 out of 10 but this game is simply unpolished and unfinished. It actually frustrates me how many people only talk about the glitches in the graphics but there is so many other things that are wrong. I truly believe the team worked really hard on the story and the city itself, However the character customization in the immersion of the game is lacking big time. The fact that I can go into the city and there’s 10 pedestrians and five cars in the street is just unacceptable for the world. There’s only a handful of characters you can actually have a relationship with and none of them mean anything to you. Enemies take bullets like sponges no matter what difficulty you’re on. And the list goes on. I’m not gonna give up on this game I still want to play it a little bit every day but I really hope they acknowledge this **** up and continue to work on this game. This should be evident that crunch time does not work. This game is not polished and it should’ve been left in the oven to cook for longer. Again I’m not gonna give up on this game and I truly hope that they’re more transparent with the people that I’ve purchased this game. And please for anyone saying that Consol players shouldn’t have expected anything less you have no idea what you’re talking about. This game has been advertised on the console since it was announced, no console player expects their game to look like the pc version but the way the game looks at this point is completely unacceptable. I’m totally fine with them releasing patches constantly but they have to do it right they can’t half ass this. Not only do they have to address the buggy mess of the game is but they have to address the way cops are in the game and why you can’t look at your character while you buy/try on clothes and why we can’t customize vehicles or weapons these are things that should’ve been on the checklist and why it wasn’t is beyond me. I am optimistic of the future of this game but in the past couple days all I’ve felt is dread about how disappointing this game is. This really feels like a no man’s sky situation and I almost hope that it is so that the game can become better within time I’m fine with that.     I have never seen anything released that performed so bad. If a game says its for ps4 it should at least play well. It doesnt run well at all. I feel a little ripped off. All ill say is if it runs well on your next gen good for you. Im happy. But for xbox and ps4 steer clear. Im still in shock how bad it is. Such a shame. I hope a class action is made.

    Add all the bugs and constant crashes and this is a horrible disaster of a game.

    I felt deceived by CDR marketing not being transparent with the issues on console version of the game, I’m using PS4 pro but the quality of game is barely enjoyable with slow loading textures, poor frame rate, blurry visuals and plagued with numerous bugs. Not worth the wait. Disappointed :(

    Unfortunately it is a disaster!!! One of the most expected games with a horrible graphic definition, bugs and bad running performance (at least on PS4). Gta V launched years ago is much much better than it. Sorry, but after played God of War or Last of Us 2 (both a masterpieces in each detail) is impossible play something like it.

    Major letdown. Hard to play. Vehicles drive like a 1994 arcade driving simulator. Gun upgrades, Mission management, Perk, Attribute, Hacking, Crafting, etc. are all badly explained and easy to get wrong. Some with no chance to fix, others extremely costly. The studio has already covered all of their costs despite putting out a piece of half-arsed crap. Dissatisfied. Hope they get class-actioned.    … Expand

I love witcher 3 very much and it feels like they betrayed their fans and people who believe in them. Save your money at least for now and get it when you have a next gen machine.     9 years in development to get a game that looks like a PS3 release. I’ve been playing this on a PS5 and while performance might be a bit better than the PS4 or Pro, the game looks like a joke. The city is empty, the characters lack detail and the game keeps crashing or having random glitches every few minutes. A disappointing mess 9 years in the making.

    Feels like I’m playing a blurry and buggy version of GTA 4 on PS3. This is just horrible optimization and a public apology is in place if you want to save some of your reputation.

    The driving actually feels like the game Driver 3 on PS2. Doesn’t feel right at all. This makes me appreciate Rockstar even more.

Not from a technical viewpoint and not from the gameplay perspective. - "It doesn't matter if you are dead, as long as you are doing it in style": There is absolutely no emphasis on fashion and style at all, the lack of a transmog    I have been playing on the pro and we were absolutely lied to about this game.

    - "Coming when it's ready": This game is not even close to being "ready". Not from a technical viewpoint and not from the gameplay perspective.

    - "It doesn't matter if you are dead, as long as you are doing it in style": There is absolutely no emphasis on fashion and style at all, the lack of a transmog system results in your character looking like a freaking clown most of the time.

    - "Each NPC has their own handcrafted routine": I'm even hesitant to call the NPC behavior AI. There is no reaction to anything you do, everything feels static and unrealistic.

    - "The game runs surprisingly well on last gen consoles": I don't know what you need to smoke in order to perceive the state of the game on PS4/XboxOne as "surprisingly well running".

    - "We've crafted every vehicle with immense detail": I don't give a crap about the number of polygons of my car interior, when the driving in this game is absolutely horrendous.

    - "Braindance is a pretty big part of the Cyberpunk universe": Heralded as this big new shiny thing, Braindance is absolutely nowhere to be seen outside of scripted mission in this game.

    Do not let CDPR get away with blatantly lying to their players. I bought my digital copy from PSN, I want a refund. The hype is completely gone, I don't even want to keep playing this PS2 game.    … Expand

    Great story, world etc. But how on earth you made me, with your whole marketing and not telling truth about ps4 version, to buy it. I don't buy the excuse tht I should now that it will be so bad on an old console. Its a shame how this works and looks on PS4.

    If you are the owner of PS5, then the only problem you will not have is the FPS issues. I recommend waiting for the full PS5 version to be released, otherwise you will not have the experience that you would like from the nextgen console.

    After many years of waiting I expected to be able to play a masterpiece. Instead, the experience is incomplete, not optimized for PS4, and with bugs that ruin the gaming experience.
    I hope that CD Projekt Red can solve it as soon as possible even if I fear it is impossible to optimize the game in a short time.

    What a horrible experience. I'm on Ps5 and I'm experiencing crashes, bugs, glitches but at least the framerate is stable. What's sad is that I can tell there is a fantastic game there but it's been ruined. CD Projekt have lost their consumer friendly image with this one.

    There are simply too many issues to justify a higher score. The characters and storyline seems great, but the bugs, horrible graphics (truly freaking atrocious), desperately low frame rates and controller ghosting issues, makes the game simply unplayable. All immersion is lost when you walk through a closed door that has not loaded, when people and cars appear magically out of thin air. IThere are simply too many issues to justify a higher score.     There's no way this game can be classed as a 5* game its unfinished feels rushed and can't cope with what its trying to achieve. Buggyness isn't too much of an issue for me but constant crashes are. Paying money for this game with all the issues makes me wish I'd waited until people were allowed to deliver true opinions of the game and not kept in the dark pre-launch.

Its basically a reskinned GTA 5, where your story choice's pose very little change on the overall story. And the game crashes constantly. And those are just the immediate and obvious problems. Driving is tedious and not at all entertaining. They don’t use the haptic responses on the controller AT ALL. GTA 5 on ps4 had infinitely better driving mechanics and feel. The audio often does not match up with characters facial movement. The NPCs for side missions rarely respond properly. Movement for all characters is very jagged. Visually, it barely looks better than a 2018 RPG. God of War kits this game to shame in terms of lighting, FPS, rendering, really all things related to visual stability and integrity. It’s honestly just not a very well made game. The idea has potential, but the execution is awful. I really wanted to like this game and have played every day since launch. The anticipation was unreal and I bought into because of the success of The Witcher 3. Today I finally decided to uninstall the game and wait until they have a next-gen update in 2021. Very disappointing to say the least, an outright lie by CDPR to say the truth. We were all fooled by early gameplay footage that simply isn’t possible for the current game to produce at home. If I could get a refund, I would. And I hate to be dramatic, but if you gave this game a positive review, you are hindering the progress of video games (and I question your intelligence).     To start off, get ready for 65 GB of patch downloads if you buy the physical release. Unfortunately it only gets worse from here. From literally the menu screens, the first things you notice are the awfully upscaled resolution (most of the time 720p to 1080p) and dropped frames. This is the baseline - at no point does the game run sharp or smooth. But it's only the crappy springboard from which the PS4 version dives into the deep pool of excrement. Crashes happen every two-three hours. Key characters clip in and out of cinematic moments. UI updates like messages or tutorial info freeze the game as they load. Detailed character models and textures often fail to load, making you interact with low poly untextured sub-N64 objects and people, with detail only popping in after a while. Dialogue options fail to select or skip lines. NPCs pop in and out of existence yards away from you.

    All this makes completing even the prologue a truly awful experience. But even seeing beyond the technical issues, the game is clearly unfinished. Whole features are missing from the game, from things like in game character customisation (tattoos, haircuts) through broken loot economy, to the minimap zoom out when going fast. Core shooting and driving mechanics feel off and lack polish.

    I'm especially disappointed because I decided to play on PS4 instead of a mid range PC to get reliable, it graphically down-tuned, performance. Now I'm stuck between spending £50 on the game again to play on PC or Stadia, waiting until PS5 units are available to mortal men, or ruining my first play through of a game that I'm sure has much more to offer than can be appreciated on PS4. Still, the game should have never been released on PS4 when barely any work seems to have gone into optimising the performance on old hardware. This is a black mark against both CDPR and Sony for rushing the game out, with no reviews or gameplay footage of the PS4/Xbox One version to warn consumers of the issue. It's borderline false advertising selling this game for PS4, and destroys my trust in console games being a reliable and hardware anxiety-free experience. Avoid!    … Expand

    The game is so bugged out at launch. I have had over 10 complete crashes of the game and graphic frame rate is a joke on PS4. Bugs and glitches are everywhere. CDPR’s reputation is why I put trust in the game when I bought it, I will not trust this company again with a preorder. They blatantly lied about its performance and it shows in the final product.

    It's such a shame really. At least CDPR has now announced they will refund ps4 players. I may come back and buy this for ps4 in a year or so when it's on sale. My experience is like so many others with glitches, bad UI, crashes, etc, etc. Apart from that, it destroyed the immersion and sense of fun. I went back to RDR2 happily.

    The game just isn't playable right now. the second you enter combat or drive a vehicle the frame rate drops and the everything just becomes a blocky mess... really disappointed :(

    This game was absolutely NOTHING like what the advertisements were for this game. It's slow paced and plays a lot like a telltale game with RPG parts. The gun play is clunky and there is not much of it. This is NOT an action packed game like the ads were saying. We were lied to. Big time. The dialogue is childish and obsessed with sex and sexuality. Don't get me wrong sex is great but come on there is so much more to people than that. The graphics are nothing impressive just typical. The world that was created in Night City reminds me of what writers wrote about the future being from a 1980s perspective. Smoking, swearing, raw sexuality, tattoos and crassness with a very dated look from clothing choices, hair, script and the world that they're in. I'm very disappointed. As far as glitches and whatever. Encountered many. The game crashed 9 times while I played, vehicles hovering when they're not supposed to be. Command buttons not doing anything. Main mission people missing etc. I'm sure much of this will be fixed. I'm more concerned with the shallow, paper thin world and gameplay and childish unwitty script that took 8 years to develop and write? What??     All the hype for this game was over done. Yes the game seems good, but on the PS4 pro it is a joke. Within the first 10 minutes of the game the issues were alarming. Cut scenes not working correctly, frame rate drops, and just not a good experience. I would not suggest getting this until all the bugs, issues are resolved when the patches come out in Jan. and Feb.

    Game is broken i cant even see what is happening because my field of view is stuck inside my characters head. Npcs float around random. Quest markers get locked behind npcs or untraversable obstacles. Utterly dissapointed.

    Also, all the facial options are so similar it hardly makes a difference what you pick. Why did they not give us sliders? Even Skyrim has sliders. Come on.
    And anyone who is like "who cares, its a first person game": unfortunately, the nails are also ugly af. And you can see them at all times. So. Yep.
    Half the reason I bought this stupid game was to use the character creator..... huge let-down.
    Also the clothes? Horrendous, and not in a fun way. Granted, I haven't had the opportunity to see if I can buy cuter ones yet, but.... I do not have high hopes.

    The gameplay is hard, I'm playing on easy mode and it's still hard, I don't think the difficulty level makes a difference though that much. Normal is hard, easy is hard, I imagine hard is.... also hard.
    The fighting is hard. Haven't really figured it out, mainly I just press buttons til I win. There's a tutorial mode but once you're in it, it makes you do the whole tutorial and you can't exit. Nobody has time for all that.
    Framerate drops all the time, sometimes my character's arm goes pixelated and half disappears. At first I thought it was a cool special effect. It was not.
    Any time you have to be in a vehicle, it takes FOREVER. Idk if this is a glitch or just the game. The drive with Padre, for example. Half the time he's not talking and you just slowly watch the car window scenery move by.
    It's like. Give us a good character creator with bad gameplay, and that's okay with me. Because I have fun if I like how my character looks. But to give us a HORRIBLE character creator AND bad gameplay? Come on.
    This really isn't worth the money. I would put it under un-modded Sims 4 as most frustrating game I own... and that's saying a lot, because I hate Sims 4. Also I only paid $3 for Sims 4. I paid $60 something for this. Very annoyed.

But when it comes to gameplay there are a few problems. I mean the gun combat is ok but the melee combat needs some work. Overall I don't recommend the game for the current price on consoles.

    I've requested a refund on the ps store, here's hoping I get refunded soon. What a buggy mess this is. Couldn't progress from about 2 hours in on multiple attempts and reloads from different save points. Saddest part is I can see a good game deep inside... I strongly suggest waiting until late next year and checking out more reviews when the patches come out. Do not pay £50 for this rubbish.

If you haven't yet purchased the game and are considering it, I would stay steer away from it for at least 3 months. Overall, this game let me and thousands of others down in the worst way. I know that CDPR was being very ambitious with this game, and that they might not be able to deliver on everything they mentioned, but I at least expected a comfortably playable game, they couldn't even deliver on that.… Expand

La "libertá di scelta" per quanto possa essere libera, garantisce una personalizzazione soddisfacente, anche se cambia ben poco dal filo narrativo e le scelte che possono essere fatte in seguito. I veicoli sono immanoveabili, non frenano, sgommano sempre e si bloccano appena a contatto con qualsiasi entitá non distruttibile. Armi interessanti, belle da vedere. Comparto grafico orrendo per quanto riguarda la non ottimizzazione e gioco sviluppato davvero male, pieno zeppo di bug e non solo grafico come molti dicono. Crash continui, personaggi che scompaiono, armi invisibili e non utilizzabili, polizia che compare dal terreno, così come veicoli, oggetti non raccoglibili, immortalitá (con salute 0 si ottiene l'immortalitá), sono rimaste attive le scritte di hacking al centro dello schermo e sto continuando la storia avendo una parte deo schermo occupato, è impossibile elencare ogni singolo bug, semplicemente perché ogni riga di codice sembra generarne almeno uno. L'esperienza di gioco è rovinata da tutto ció, ripetere missioni 4 volti non rende il gioco "giocabile". Si puó passare sulle T pose dei personaggi, sul caricamento delle texture, ma su questo genere di bug assolutamente no.

    This game's so disappointing. Seeing that it was originally announced almost a decade ago, was -in- development over 8 years, faced numerous, notorious delays and was intended to be a ps4/xone geneation game, they have no excuse for releasing it in this state.

    I won't spend money on this again and if they make good on the refund's promised, CD Projekt Red and their misguided game (meant to be an attack on corporate hypocrisy) probably won't be seeing any more of my money.

    My condolences to the developers and everyone involved in the 'middle and lower section's of production who will no doubt receive much if not all of inside flak of this disastrous release.    … Expand

    I give 2 points because I only admire the artist who designed those colorful environments on the game, and also for Keanu's effort to bring up the hype. the rest like bad AI, game-breaking bug, crashes, is killing the joy for me. Коротко PS4 pro: баги, вылеты, лютое мыло, катастрофически низкий фпс (в городе и при езде) патч 1.05. Такую игру нельзя было выпускать, это не уважение к игрокам со стороны CD projekt red. Спасибо большое что хотя б сняли с продажи да и возвращаете деньги игрокам.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I can honestly say that Cyberpunk has been the worst experience I’ve ever had in gaming. I’ve witnessed some terrible launches but this one’s among the worst along with Unity, No Man’s Sky and Fallout 76.

    The idea of the game is good. The setting is great but CDPR doesn’t show it off due to the PS3-tier graphics.
    Gameplay is decent at best. The control scheme is uncomfortable and weird and can’t be changed.

    Thing is, the game just isn’t worth 60 bucks. Not just the terrible glitches, FPS drops, worthless graphics and other countless weird bugs ( corrupted saves ), but also as an RPG it’s just not good enough.
    Characters lack depth, there’s no backstory. Voice acting is great though.
    There’s no options to customize your characters appearance aside from armor, no car customization and no ‘home’ customization.
    The skill tree is not really interesting.
    And not even to mention the stupid AI. Cops can’t chase you in the car etc. The detection system is worthless, there’s no stealth in place.
    Hacking has potential but it could be so much better.

    This isn’t the game we were promised. It’s a decent RPG, but not on par with other RPG’s.    … Expand

    The game is a steaming turd, the only good points would be the story( when it works) and the soundtrack. Bad points? If your inventory is too full your game crashes, physics for everything is broken and pop in is s***. I will not be pre-ordering any more games from now on.

    Bugs don’t even begin to describe how bad this game is, it’s so tragic how special this game could have been but the suits who rushed this game out ruined that and I hope they are genuinely ashamed of themselves and the reputation they have now built that will haunt this company forever.     I launched Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS4 Slim several weeks after the release and most of the bugs were fixed, so I was able to play the game from start to finish. However, the quality of textures was painfully low, I usually had only 20-22 frames per second while driving around the city (with dips below 20), and some objects tended to disappear. The technical state and graphics of the PS4 version are awful, which is a shame, because the game itself has one of the best stories I have ever encountered, its gunplay is really good, and Night City is very impressive.     Cyberpunk 2077 is a game brimming with potential, and it damn near reaches it on so many occasions, but the pitfalls of its development ultimately drag it down. There's still a lot to like here for RPG fans and lovers of the genre, but it's far from the generation-defining masterwork that the world was waiting for.
