    The campaign is fantastic, its fun, its enjoyable. Every little detail i would consider perfect. The problem with the game is the community. Everyone i have encountered in this game i would consider a try-hard, plus, its not as casual as i would have liked.     Awful maps and worst respaws. And **** that MP5. Infinity Ward since Mw2 don't know how to make a decent Call of Duty.

    While you will see likely thousands of reviews regarding "Russian army triggering" comments of people who disliked the games political veering, I find that petty and not worthy of a 0 review, Frankly it shows much more about the person's personal grievance than a fair review of the game. Got that out of the way? Good. So onto the actual game. COD seems to be in a bit of a limbo right now due to the fact that their fanbase is overwhelmingly divided on different aspects of the game. Some like sprawling canvas maps and others like basic three lane maps. Some like a crazy guns-blazing campaign, others like a methodical story. Its difficult to find a middle balance, but I think COD Modern Warfare did a decent job of recreating this experience. The campaign is largely uninteresting and I dont find it particularly memorable, but its there for your enjoyment should you feel otherwise. The multiplayer is balanced enough and inviting to new players for the most part. Warzone is a good addition for free members. Overall gameplay is familiar, fanbase is toxic and sweaty, and its a camper's dream. A real classic COD experience. While I get this might not be sounding super enjoyable from my rating, believe me its plenty enjoyable to get involved in. I'd rate it a 7, but its closer to a 6 than an 8.… Expand

    I was so hyped to play this game. I love the modern warfare series and finally it seemed like the development team was making good decisions. Now, one of the things I expected was to be able to play the **** game but I couldn't. Turns out on ps4 there's an issue where you can't download it no matter what. I paid for this game and I can't even play it.

    It's pretty good,campaign is good but it tries way too hard to shock the player.Multiplayer is like MW2's multiplayer,good selection of modes map design is pretty good.Not much to say here the game is fun.

    MW all around is a good game, it has amazing graphics and sound design, the campaign was ok but WZ is definitely a must-try, its very addictive.

I’ve played every cod except Cod1, cod2, and infinite warfare and I can easily say this is my least favorite multiplayer of all time. I’d say 90% of my time spent on cod games is multiplayer so it willWorst multiplayer experience ever on a call of duty game.     Adorei a campanha cod sempre se superando com suas campanhas inesquecíveis, multiplayer ótimo principalmente o sistema de criação de classes , Spec ops ainda não tive muito tempo de jogar por completo mais está muito bom , Warzone nem precisa falar né !

    Campaign: Cool and interesting story, interesting missions and memorable characters

    Coop: Boring missions, dumb enemies that defeat you because of the number of soldiers and not by strategy. Worst cooperative mode ever made in call of duty history

    Multiplayer: Cool weapons, fluid movement, incredible animations, but maps are just as bad as CoD Ghosts. Advantages for campers

    It’s pretty fun, it’s Doots after all... But, lag, cheaters, and stupid exploits (e.g., jump shots) just make it annoying... It’s gotten worse as of late. Half the people you play jump around a corner and headshot you. That’s not enjoyable, it’s just exhausting

    Coming from someone who loved the campaign and multi-player I have deleted the game 3 times and redownloaded it due to how hard it is to play against pc players. Multi-player at the very beginning was beautiful but now i am so disappointed at the new update. Be warned everyone now uses the new marksman rifle and everyone is a god a quick scoping.     the score for this game is ridiculously not true, the only two main and hurtful criticisms or this game is that the portray the Russian army as war criminals which is absurd and the main thing that holds this game from being one of the best call of duty's out there is the terrible embarrassing completely, broken, lazy, and rushed spec ops.

    the game is filled with hackers, when i play a simple shoot the ship game mode i literally is put into a lobby of try hard(s), definitely lost a costumer for any future call of duty's after cold war just filled with garbage even the ps4 is plagued with hackers

    Do you remember how the developers promised us a revolutionary plot with gray morality where there will be no evil Russians and good Americans, well, they lied. Russians here are worse than nazis, no kidding, this game is just one piece of propaganda with nice gunplay.

    Garbage maps and poor spawns ruin a potentially great multiplayer. The campaign was fun. Maps and perks encourage camping to an extent many maps are impossible to navigate. I got back into COD with Black Ops 4 and this game was a great disappointment. The lone good original map is shoot house with a few decent remakes mixed in.

    One of if not the worst cod I've ever played. The development team really left out fun and entertaining for competitive and sweaty even to the point where some long time cod ESports players have retired from playing hours of this game. The campaign wasn't too bad but that's only a fraction of the hours played in this game. The actual review starts in the multiplayer, where you will beOne of if not the worst cod I've ever played. The development team really left out fun and entertaining for competitive and sweaty even to the point where some long time cod ESports players have retired from playing hours of this game. The campaign wasn't too bad but that's only a fraction of the hours played in this game. The actual review starts in the multiplayer, where you will be actually spending your time and the COOP but I'll get to that later. The Multiplayer is the most bland and boring gameplay I have ever seen in my life. The fast time to kill matched with players who are so incompetent to leave a corner ruins any other entertaining or exciting play style to be used in the Multiplayer. Even casual players who want to get up and go to an objective have to deal with controller aim botting, fast ttk, and meta weapons probably even a shotgun to the face once they round a corner. If you were looking for any excitment to be had in this game mode you're looking in the wrong place if you're not willing to watch a corner and let the controller do the aiming for you. Another big part of the mulitplayer that kills it for most players including me is the SBMM. The Skill Based Match Making will be the death of the franchise because if you do good in 1 game at all you will be matched with sweaty try hards or even more people who will camp corners and not leave until their mothers come in their room to make them do chores. SBMM also connects you to higher ping servers like 70 80 sometimes 120 ping. Another note about SBMM in the game mode of warzone is it'll put you against players that have bought the game pass to try to get you to buy it because the development team intentionally makes the guns OP in the first seasons they're out and if you try to use any other gun against it you're sure to lose. Now on to the COOP. As someone who is a huge fan of the MW3 COOP and loved the survival mode I have been let down so hard it's as if my hopes were thrown off the cliff of marianas trench. The COOP is absolutely garbage. Even with improvements the game mode just isn't fun. Once again you're forced to camp in a corner in some building because of the poor design decisions made within the AI and the different types of enemies within this game mode. Let me start with survival in contrast to MW3's survival. In MW 2019 you have little chance to play this game solo. What i mean by that is I could make it to wave 30 on MW3 survival no problem but for some reason in this cod you can't make it past wave 3 or 4. The guns the AI use such as the shotgun or the AK or even the RPG will destroy you if they catch you off guard and that is mostly due to how little health you have in this game mode. You could survive being shot 100 times in MW3 survival because the game mode was supposed to be fun and they understood that some people wanted to play it solo and you can't win against a horde of enemies without having the health to compensate for it. In this cod you have probably 1 5 round burst fired at you with any automatic and you're dead. That's it. Go back to the menu and try again. Another huge difference between the 2 survival modes I'm comparing is the suicide bombers. Just wow. They sprint twords you with a bomb in their hand and even if they explode from 10 feet away you're very likely to be dealt half your entire health. That would be ok if there were maybe 2 or 4 during one wave right? Well, you would be delighted to know that there are about 20. If they get within 5 feet of you and explode you're pretty much dead. I don't know how this makes sense with the play style of camping in buildings and not having enough health to go outside and fight them because you die so quickly in this game. It's so dissapointing. In comparision, the suicide bombers from MW3 will take 1 shot and they will have about a 4 second delay before exploding, this gives the players time to run away and not be instantly killed or use the suicide bombers to their advantage. That design choice alone shows that the developers of MW3 care more about the fun of the players than making the game realistic or whatever narrative they push for MW 2019 I can't even tell you what it is other than "realistic" maybe. But onto the last thing, the "classic COOP" is actually impossible. Remember how I said you have very little health? Yeah, you have to push against about 50-100 bots, good luck. I just wanted to quickly mention that. I've played this game on and off trying to find some ounce of enjoyment of fun in any of it but I fail to do so. I wish honestly think the developers could have really delivered on this game, it had all the potential for it. But unfortunately they let greed get the better of them. With that and their stubborn ways, the future of this franchise is looking short, especially with it's newest one, Cold War. My advice to you is to just not buy this game. Save your 60 dollars and spend it on anything else. You will thank me later.… Expand

    This game has so many bugs that is impossible to install it on PS4 ("installation suspended error, you don't have external dlc pack error etc."). Just wasted money. Activision doesn't know how to fix the game.

This makes matches one-sided and/or a "sweat fest" and unenjoyable to play. Probably to make things worse are that some of these "sweaty" players are beyond toxic and then the plague cheating (this also applies to the battle royale warzone).
    Note: While it's a welcome to see a modern shooter back after the franchise went all over the place with the settings along with high visual fidelity and new details from the environment, animations, etc., the current state of the game is a mixed to bad experience (and honestly so far the experienced mostly lean towards the latter).    … Expand

    Ultimamente esta difícil ver algo bom no mundo do entretenimento, tudo tem que haver a tal da lacração, me colocaram três mulheres nos cargos mais elevados do comando das forças (a general negra, a loira líder da CIA e a Farah líder da resistência) e ainda por cima novamente os russos são os vilões, que falta de criatividade, este game não chega nem perto do Modern Warfare de 2007.Ultimamente esta difícil ver algo bom no mundo do entretenimento, tudo tem que haver a tal da lacração, me colocaram três mulheres nos cargos mais elevados do comando das forças (a general negra, a loira líder da CIA e a Farah líder da resistência) e ainda por cima novamente os russos são os vilões, que falta de criatividade, este game não chega nem perto do Modern Warfare de 2007. The game brought a whole bunch of great changes to the series and I thank the developers for it. The MW Engine really is a game changer, the movement, gunplay, graphics, everything, is amazing. TheI think this game gets wayyyy more hate then it should. The game was a saving grace for the franchise, pulling it out of the gutter after titles like Black Ops 4, Infinite Warfare, and WWII. The story while quite short is extremely note worthy. The multiplayer really benefited from the MW Engine that I mentioned before. While some maps were quite odd, I still thoroughly enjoyed my time with the MP. The Spec Ops was a bit of a mixed bag. The operation missions were pretty horrific. The survival mode was sort of redeeming, but was way too easy, causing it to be not that fun for me. All in all, a great entry… Expand

    Feels like a really smooth revived game. The engine this game runs on is great. Campers paradise sometimes in multiplayer but other then that this game revived the COD series for me.

    O primeiro jogo da franquia que eu compro na pré-venda. Não me decepcionei. Partidas empolgantes, gameplays frenéticas, dublagem excelente, som animal e a micro transação razoável. Porém o que mais me chamou a atenção nesse COD em específico foi o armeiro, que foi bem feito.

    People are crying because there is too much "Russophobia" when MW2 and 3 are based on the same principle, it's not the greatest campaign ever, but to give it a 0/10 because you think that the campaign is a bit cliche is a bit too much. The multiplayer is awesome and feels really good, as do the weapons which pack a good punch with their design and sound.

    Campaign was relatively weak, only scene that really hit anywhere was the war crime in embedded.

    The atmosphere of the game was well defined at launch but updates and partnerships has subdued some of this. The weapon animations are on point and the sound design is magnificent, definitely the peak of the game.     The best call of duty search experience I’ve had. A ton of guns with friends. Story was amazing too. Special operations was sub par but I don’t play that. One of the greatest and over hated cod’s of all time.

So you pay 100 pounds (50 game, 50 PlayPlus) and then you test the game for them after days of downloading. If I stumble upon the Blizzard headquarters I gladly would set it on fire.    … Expand

If it didn’t have so many micro transactions and the brain dead developers listened to the community feedback this could’ve easily been one of the best in the series. Instead, it’s just a pretty good game and probably the best of the post-golden age COD’s alongside BO3.

    The campaign is solid but sometimes feels like it is just a compilation of emotional and dramatic bits from recent movies and political debates. It has those intense scenes but they often feel disconnected. Also the amazing gunplay in multiplayer just never has the same feel in campaign. It is still a fun six hours but nothing special.

    I have had so much fun in this game throughout the hundreds of hours I've played. Multiplayer is a bit slow paced but shoot house is so much fun. The campaign tells a compelling story and spec ops.. is there. Overall it's a amazing game.

On the most recent patch and for many before it, I often die around corners, or as I hear the first bullet hit because of how **** the network code is Playing against consoles running at 60fps make the experience dog dooky for PC players because of this: if you try to peek a corner and go back, your hitbox will stay around that corner for twice as long in the eyes of a console player because their console updates half as fast, and because the game honors the shooters - not the shootee's - hitbox, you'll die faster than you can react, because favor is given to slower consoles. Just in general, this is a stellar graphical and gunplay experience ruined by a lot of poor multiplayer implementation decisions. And for those who don't know yet: Verdansk is modeled after Donetsk, which was captured by Russia.

    The graphics are 9/10, the shooting is great, but the shooting sounds. In Call of Duty Black ops Cold War, the shooting sounds are better, they are different. In the call of duty, modern warfare, the sounds of shots are almost the same, just a changed timbre of the sound. 6.5/10

But the simple fact that I couldn't play through the campaign without a constant internet connection is a enough for me to hate it, but you can't practice with bots without one either. Gunplay is ok for Call of Duty and campaign is too short and loses it's pace at times.     Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
