    i played this game on Xbox and i had a pretty good time. i really liked the battle royal and the multiplayer was pretty ok and i know people didn't like the multiplayer but it wasn't that bad. the the battle royal was really good and they temporarily will put in little modes for extra fun. the battle royal was like a normal battle royal. the graphics for the game were normal and theyi played this game on Xbox and i had a pretty good time. i really liked the battle royal and the multiplayer was pretty ok and i know people didn't like the multiplayer but it wasn't that bad. the the battle royal was really good and they temporarily will put in little modes for extra fun. the battle royal was like a normal battle royal. the graphics for the game were normal and they looked pretty good. it did have some other little "Mini games" and they were ok. in the battle royal you could level up and the highest level you could get to is 155 but after a season they reset and i but i wish they had done something like rainbow six siege.… Expand

And I think that it's incorrect to show Russian People as murderers and dangerous terrorists. I know that this is just a game but it's unpleasent for me to see that lie. Why don't you make games in which the main evil will be terrorist from USA or europian countries, that will be very funny(sarcasm)… Expand

    Just love this game. It has a incredible and shocking campaign and the best multiplayer that I've seen in a Call of Duty since Black Ops 2.

    The only things that I don't like is the map design in general (the only map that I really like is Shoot House), and the coop Special Ops.

    Call of Duty? This one is more like Camp of Duty. Bring your tents because the multiplayer is full of players that think their life is actually on the line. Campaign is fantastic. Spec-ops is bad, very bad. Warzone is good as long as you dont mind getting annihilated by streamers.

    This is my favorite Call of Duty game that has released since the original Black Ops.
    It's a throwback to COD:4 and the original Modern Warfare.
    I've enjoyed it immensely and it has brought me back into enjoying Call of Duty. However. Activision has ruined this game by trying to make it seem as though it never existed. It has been absorbed by Warzone, and that's a huge travesty    This is my favorite Call of Duty game that has released since the original Black Ops.

    This game is very fun to play so I will give pros and cons for every mode. The campaign was mind-blowing and had some very fun missions like clean house and highway of death. It has memorable characters and is overall pretty good. The co-op is a little frustrating, The enemies seem very overpowered and you need a friend to make this mode enjoyable, overall the co-op is decent, TheThis game is very fun to play so I will give pros and cons for every mode. SBMM is a heated topic in the gaming community rather it helps noobs or makes the game unenjoyable for most players. But skill-based match-making needs to go to make the multiplayer fun, but trying to get the devs to remove it is like trying to get a vampire to eat garlic.     Wouldn't recommend buying the game, think you are better of with just warzone. The campaign has some fun moments but the American propaganda put me off of it, so in the end i didn't finish it.

    Multiplayer has the worst maps I've seen in year, there is 1 map (shipment I believe, correct me if I'm wrong) were you always get killed on respawn.     the games okay its not my favorite to do but it's really fun only some parts. the online is so bad the story mode is so good the story mode is the best thing in this game.

    This game is fun to play and the graphics are good (for the most part its not without issues) HOWEVER!     Warzone is not something I play but I have to download it and install all updates for it.

    The updates for this game are enraging there is no other word for it, the numerous amount of times I have finished work opened up battle net wanting a quick game after a hard day only to be met with a update which will take so long to download you wont be playing till the next day at the very least is unforgivable in terms of updates.

    I have had numerous occasions after installing 190GB game where I have had to download 100+gb updates, the last one was 3 days ago for a 5 GB update which took most of my evening to download to yesterdays 32 GB update which is still downloading.

    The worst part is none of these updates are for multiplayer they are for warzone which I don't play or for black ops crap which I don't own.

    Also the battle pass is now completely defunk for MW because no rewards are for MW they are all for warzone which is FREE and black ops which I don't own ... so I paid £50 for a game I no longer gett any content updates for but free warzone which I don't even play gets updates?

    This is the first COD game I bought since early 2000's and will be the last this kind of crap is completely unforgivable and enraging when all I want to do is relax and shoot people in the face.    … Expand

    Visuals: this is perhaps one of the best looking call of duties of all time. everything looks good and you have a great amount of control over the settings. I have managed to make this game look amazing with minimal performance penalty on anything from a 1080 to a 3070. Here the game gets a full 10/10 for graphics;(10/10);

    Audios: the game has excellent sound design. this is not as good as what frostbite engine has to offer. gun sounds all sound dampened and lack base, how ever voice acting, sound effects and the weapons sounds all sound really good. this is for sure an above average sound design and I will give it a (9/10);

    interfaces. it is bad, they have put in minimal effort, party system is bad, placement of buttons are bad, there are very few cautionary interfaces in places that matter and and far too many in places that are not as important. if you are in loadout menus and your squad leader do anything you are pulled out. the main screen of your character walking endlessly is a roll of a dice! in each patch new bugs get introduced. anything from half of your screen glowing to your character not loading at all. this is so bad that I am going to assume they went out of their way to screw this up and I am going t ogive them a 0/10, inexcusable! (0/10);

    Single player story: the game is ok, I actually had a lot of fun playing it until it got to the blatant racism, torture, and abuse of children. in older call of duty games they used to be more subtle, this is just poor writing, there are a million ways to portray someone as bad, this was just unimaginative. that being said I had fun playing the single player. I am giving it a (8/10);

    Coop: I was going to give this section a 10/10 but I am instead giving it a 0/10 here is why; coop was good. it had a healthy community, no toxicity, fantastic implementation of crossplay and an amazing story line to back it up. it was fun to play and easy to ear experience points in. However, they are trying to burry it, the servers have become non-responsive and do not put you in matches anymore, menus are broken and riddled with bugs and they keep getting worse in each patch. if Activision does not care about this portion of their game, I am not going to give them any points. this is the only part of this game that worth the price tag and they don't want to maintain it. (0/10);

    Multiplayer: On PC it is bad, does not worth your time, bad net code laggy buggy and broken with terrible match making. incredibly toxic community filled with racism, sexism and filth. children screaming things that are absolutely inexcusable. filled with cheaters and you have no way of reporting verbal abuse, bullying racism and sexism. on PC it is a pile of garbage unless y7ou are playing a custom match with a group of people you know, but at that point you and your friends can literally play anything else. (0/10);

    Community: Single player does not have a community, coop has an excellent respectful community but as we established if Activision does not care I am not giving them points for it and the multiplayer is garbage. I am going to give it a -5 points. I feel half of my maximum amount of happiness, less happy when I engage with this community; (-5/10);

    Price: there are better indie games that cost less and do not have microtransactions. this is a $15 game that is being marketed as a $70 title. I am giving this a (2/10);

    Microtransactions: they are not cosmetic, those skins yield in-game advantages, some skins are harder to see in game, some weapon tracers and effects (like the pixel one) block your view and give the shooter an advantage. some kill animation (floaty skulls etc) actually block your vision. dark outfits like rose's dry suit in a shadow make her practically invisible. This game is effectively pay to win. (0/10);

    Support: The support sometimes shows some surprising acts of competence that is truly out of character for Activision developers. but 70% of the time they are useless incompetent people providing **** support. Sometimes the game refuses to load and you have to redownload a 200 GB game ... hope your internet does not have a data cap! (3/10);

    so averaging all the scores it is a 2.7 out of 10. I round it up just incase I am being to harsh.    … Expand

    LOL, 203GB used to exchange a game that is lack of getting a game runs smooth.(intel i5-8300H and GTX1060 6G) The matching system is bad, I always match up to someone who is much more better than me(Yes Im a newbie). The campaign is good but it wont cover up how they failed in multiplayer.

    The best COD game in years! Graphics are incredible, gameplay is the best I've played in FPS ever. Maps are ok and campaign is AMEZING! cold war is such a downgrade in every sense. 2021 and I'm still playing MW2019. LOVE THAT GAME! ❤

If you told me that MW was a prerelease of COD 2022, I would easily believe you. The graphics are somehow better than a game 2 years older optimized for next-gen consoles. Still boggles my mind. There are countless guns in MW, but yet all of them manage to be meta in some way. There are so many options, but they are all equally powerful. There's no "overpowered gun" or "trash gun" because the guns have been masterfully designed so that someone's opinion of the best gun might be another's worst gun. This game has it all. Anyway, spent 3 hours to figure out which packages to install to play the campaign mode. Finally managed to do it, 30 seconds into the game I got hit with a black screen on my PS5, just stuck. Restarted the game 3 timesBought the game 2 days before this review. One thinks that the game should have a smooth, bug-free user experience because it's been almost 2 years since its first release.     The best call of duty so far. And as a bonus you get to kill the dirty russians. Awesome graphics epic multiplayer. Even the campaign is brilliant.

    I have gotten so many good memories with this game. I played it so much. I don't think the single player plot is good but I still liked it. Most of my play hours are multiplayer. It was just pure fun even though it's not the best shooter mechanics ever.

    A great relief after the latest releases. They definitely put effort into this game, the amount of detail in this game is crazy with new and improved gun-play and gun-smith and a decent campaign. Definitely a step into the right direction for CoD, Just needs to be more polished and we will have ourselves a new masterpiece.

The simple gunplay and blistering pace of the competitive modes are still present, as are the game-breaking killstreaks and other silly mechanics for which the franchise is known. Lazy map design (and remixing) coupled with short rounds mean that it only takes a few matches to feel like you've seen everything. Weapons feel mostly the same, and are accompanied by the usual anemic sound effects. Cosmetic microtransactions are constantly thrown into your face in the form of individual purchases and the nigh-ubiquitous "Battle Pass." It feels more like one of those Korean F2P shooters rather than a title from a large Western developer.

    The visual and aural components are the usual blend of archaic design and modern effects, which only serves to highlight the bland environments born from nearly two decades of cut-and-paste development practices.

    Major technical bugs and unbalanced gameplay practically scream "EARLY ACCESS," but if you can turn off your brain (and mute the toxic voice chat,) there are times when the mindless stupidity of it all approaches something resembling fun. The maps are the worst of any shooter of all time by far, they have no flow to mildly put it they encourage savage camping, cross a street and you're dead. The terrible maps plus the worst spawn logic of all time equals total chaos with no flow, you can't read a map, speculate as to where the enemies are because they could literally be anywhere and the odds are that they're camping. On top of that, the absence of shooting enemies showing up on the mini map makes the whole map flow experience the absolute worst, it couldn't be any worse if they tried. It's a real shame because the visuals team at Infinity Ward did a truly spectacular job, the game is gorgeous and the gunplay is the best feeling of any shooter I've ever played. But because of just how unplayable multiplayer modes are, I can't even give any credit for that. Why would I care about good looks if I'm not having fun? That's what she said.

    Also the campaign is despicable Russophobic historical revisionism and it's so aggressively trying to lie to you (blaming Russia for the highway of death when it's actually the USA that did it in real life) that I just can't play through it. I can't believe they'd do that to the Russian people, passing the blame for American war crimes to Russia. This seriously crosses a line for me. For this total historical insult trying to turn public opinion against Russia even further than it already is, on top of the worst online experience of any type of game I have ever played of my life, this game is a total big fat sloppy 0 and I wish I could have my money back. Thank god for Warzone though, which I'm absolutely loving. I feel bad for Infinity Ward because I'm pretty sure all the **** pro-noob anti-russian **** comes from Activision. So F U Activision. One of the biggest draws of this game for me was the promise of a co-op mode (something that I played the hell out of, dating back to the previous MW titles). But, this Busch league idea of cooperative modes just further drives the nail in the coffin that COD has completely lost its way and needs to either die, or be put into the hands of developers and producers that truly love the military FPS genre and want to create the best of the best within that realm. And that is NOT Infinity Ward.

    The only reason this game receives a 2 instead of a 0 is for some memorable missions based off of real world operations... And it was nice seeing Captain Price again.    … Expand

    4 hour install on Monday after work, left the ps5 on rest mode to install. Tuesday after work just getting settled to play it and it’s saying the campaign is not installed? What on earth took 4 hours to install then? And why wasn’t it the campaign! So then there was about 7 boxes all saying install next to them,    Not even played the game yet but now on my third day of trying to play it.

About 4 boxes down there is one that says “campaign and special ops optimisation pack” or something along those lines, so I have started that download, 2 hours.

    I enjoyed certain missions and a more stealthy approach to gameplay, especially "clean house" stage. Story is complete rubbish. It is a hypocrisy on the largest scale to make such a deranged narrative. I've never witnessed someone tell a complete fantasy like that with such conviction. Activision should be held accountable for such a delusional fairytale of a SP campaign.

    1) The amazing campaign, which is the 5th best in my opinion (after the original Modern warfare trilogy and the COD Black Ops (2010) )
    2) The graphics are amazing. We've been lied to that it's a new engine though. It's the same old engine, heavily modified. Credit to Blame truth on youtube for covering this in a video.
    3) Gun sounds are pretty good.
    4) The animation director did a great job. Hats off to Mark Grigsby on another great job on what he does best.

    Стоит ли брать ради онлайна, не скажу - решайте сами.

    The story was surprisingly decent. Serves as a nice reboot of the MW series and the plot has some good teases/references to the trilogy. The main antagonist could've been developed further. They didn't feel like a proper villain as they weren't really explored into with much depth. They're evil but the game doesn't really elaborate further. It also has a very anti-Russian sort of feeling.

    Claymores don't do any damage, The 'easiest' bots setting is too hard and all the maps are built for camping and spawn killing, Headshots aren't one shot and everyone has wall Hacks and aimbot.

    -Campaign is stupid,the script is horrible,but i like different missions at night when you walking through the house full of AQ soliders,and u are with Cpt.Price.
    -Multiplayer is good,i love the weapons and animations of them,but some of the maps in Multiplayer for example:Eupherates Bridge and Atlas Superstore are rare dog **** multiplayer is all right it is fun to play,    What can i say?

    Finally, after a huge chunk of mediocre and bad games, the Modern Warfare reboot revived the series. This game has an excellent campaign and some of the most in depth multiplayer in the series. Plus, we got Warzone!

    A strong (but relatively short) campaign with many varied levels that are packed with tough action. Cutscenes are really life-like and transition to gameplay is smooth. Especially the ‘going dark’ mission and sniper missions were fantastic. At times the story is also heartbreaking and an uncensored portrait of what happens every day in reality. The mandatory internet connection seemsA strong (but relatively short) campaign with many varied levels that are packed with tough action.     Very addicting and motivating weapon leveling/unlocking/customization system. Even the season pass has motivating rewards such as XP boosters. Should be supported. Spent already 15 hours only in team deathmatch.

    Campaign very brutal but very cinematic and gameplay well composed.

    Where shall we start? I will say the game play was okay, had some good moments but was a very sudden end. The on line play is getting progressively worse, it seems there is little care about the level 15 players with maxed guns and gunning you down from 150 meters, or dual welding pistols with 100% accuracy, Maybe the sword and shield players running through bullets to stab you, orWhere shall we start?     The most fun I've had in a Call of Duty game in a very long time. I hope that future COD games will go a similar route. One of my favorite things is the weapon customization. You can customize a weapon for whatever play style you want.
    I really do appreciate the cosmetic only micro-transactions and don't mind spending a few bucks every now and then for a cool operator skin.

    The game is graphically pleasing, but sound is inconsistent. I heavily rely on sound and there have been times where enemies will just run up on me and I won't hear a thing. While other times I can hear them loudly from even further away which is very frustrating.

    A pretty good and super fun game. The sounds are enjoyable, movement, gameplay, and guns. Many maps are enjoyable, has ground war, the sounds are very satisfying and such.

    Overall campaign is only 5-7 hours, less exciting than previous titles and looks and smells like worst cold war propaganda - too obvious, too black and white.

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
