    I only gave this game 1 cause it had good campaign, but multiplayer has so many hackers, game crashes too many times, developers are not fixing any thing nor addressing any issues, with all my heart I hope this game dies soon.

I’m not even my own patriot strange (Russia), but the plot part hit me, it's overkill. well, damn tolerance was not complete, the farah woman is a super hero, in a dialogue between an American general and a military woman, a black woman meets and sends a white man, bravo. and most importantly, I’m talking about the highway of death, why Russia was dragged into this if the Americans launched air strikes.

Showed Russian some barbarians, although we are not close to doing what you show in almost every mission of the game. And if you look at the history of the 90 years, in which you just participated in these operations. Why distort history?

    If the game started with a disclaimer saying "Careful: War crimes you are about to see were perpetrated by the USA but we're blaming everything on the Russians to make you feel better about your pathetic western civilization" I would've given at least a good 3/10.

    Single player campaign is entertaining from action perspective, but the story narrative loses focus sometimes and doesn't quite live up to the marketing where your morality is put in to test in this story, since it's scripted most of the time.

    Multiplayer is pretty much the same deal as before, but now maps are bigger which is simultaneously good and a bad thing.     Multiplayer is pretty much the same deal as before, but now maps are bigger which is simultaneously good and a bad thing. Good that you have multiple ways to go, but way the maps are designed can encourage camping style even more than before, especially with the mount-function that you can take cover behind different obstacles while being stationary.

    There is lot to unlock in the multiplayer, and challenges and multiplayer missions can extend the playtime a lot. Just be ready for those campers sitting in corners with 725-shotguns...

    MW tem o melhor modo campanha do gênero fps que já joguei, a imersão é realmente incrível, com armas realistas e gráficos maravilhosos, a expressão facial dos personagens é algo impressionante, o áudio se destaca muito com barulhos dos tiros é realmente prazeroso atirar nesse game, a temática é bem atual e isso aumenta mais a experiência de gameplay, porém nem tudo é perfeito o MultiplayerMW tem o melhor modo campanha do gênero fps que já joguei, a imersão é realmente incrível, com armas realistas e gráficos maravilhosos, a expressão facial dos personagens é algo impressionante, o áudio se destaca muito com barulhos dos tiros é realmente prazeroso atirar nesse game, a temática é bem atual e isso aumenta mais a experiência de gameplay, porém nem tudo é perfeito o Multiplayer é bem quebrado devido aos mapas em sua maioria medíocres e respawn bugado, mas no geral da pra se divertir muito jogando ainda mais com amigos.… Expand

    I play pc in rdr2 every day. And it gives me 80 fps on ultra settings. This is your warzone 30-50fps regardless of the graphics settings. But it was 100 fps in the beta games.
    I don’t advise anyone else to play this non-optimized bull****

    So after they "fixed" the game from constant crashing on PS5 I can write a proper review about this.

    Singleplayer: There isn´t much to talk about here, its pretty much the same 5-7h one dimensional american russian terrorists bs without any improvements to the gameplay.     The graphics are good most of the time. There are plenty of different modes and mode playlists to play everything you want. The map design is good. The weapons are feeling very good and there are lots of attachments. Sadly everyone is playing the same meta loadout most of the time. And there is a general lack of polishing everywhere. Also the community of this game is still VERY bad and there are lots of cheaters as well.

    Summary:
    This could be a good or even a great game if Activision would actually give a sh!t. I was at a 6/10 but I am subtracting two points because the Coop isn´t working and because of the fact that this game is still feeling like an unfinished Beta after two years worth of updates. Still not a bad game but everyone saying things like "best shooter of the decade" has no clue what he is talking about.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When I first started playing I was really enjoying myself the ttk took some getting used to. I haven't played cod since ghosts was released as I didn't like the futuristic setting. Firstly just want too say the The campaign was amazing in this game. I'm level 147 online so it's fair too say iv been playing it alot. I'm just bored with it already there is next too no rewards after level 55 there isn't really much incentive to keep playing I'm not a great fan of the maps apart from 2 which are reasonably fun too play but the majority of them are just boring and lack any real character. There is no map in the game that is iconic or anything like the old maps from mw2 or mw 1 there just nothing really too them. Also thought I'd add the gun Smith is amazing it's great the amount of options you have to customise the weapons. Might be an unpopular opinion but I dont think there are anywere near enough guns in the game there could of been so much more variety. I know you can make variants through gunsmith but really there isnt alot of base weapons in the first place. I like the game but I'm just fed up with it abit now it needs more content and more things to unlock could do with some more calling cards and emblems aswell there lacking like much else in the game… Expand

(literally unplayable) BUT and emphasis on the BUT the campaign has a few quality moments and held my interest.

    Multiplayer: The Multiplayer is in a rough spot, its not bad and plays better than MW2 on launch but as i write this there are three viable weapons and the rest are sort of just there... Not bad but just outclassed. The game plays quite well on the new engine and i love the small quality of life improvements such as editing classes in game. Cross platform is a bit buggy and you will be kicked from your group occasionally but besides that works well and is lots of fun. Gunfight is beyond amazing and i love the competitive pacing of it (please add a ranked mode to it). Minor adjustments to gun balancing would make the multiplayer much better, but all in all ive enjoyed it.

    Spec Ops: Yet to play it as i cant download the package required and at this point couldn't care about it, from what ive heard its broken and boring.

    Campaign: i had little to no faith in the campaign as i haven't enjoyed a call of duty story since i was 11. the story is cheesy at times, you have your generic falling out of helicopters and walking it off, or your cover shooting for 15 minutes. But the story does have a few exceptional moments, Clean house is a tense level and has a great pacing. the campaign is short but extremely sweet and if you can look past the generic stuff, its quite fun.

    all in all a fresh take on an old friend, id recommend it as a Christmas gift for a family member, but not something you should spend $80 CAD before taxes on. wait till it has a sale and definitely pick it up.    … Expand

    Game will not play. It claims the PS4 is overheating and shuts it down immediately even though the ps4 is ice cold. Call of Duty Modern Warfare is the only game that does that

    Говно. Ничем не отличается от BF4, хотя BF4 вышла в 2013 году. Но в отличии от BF4 этот кал пингует, вылетает и весит 170гб. Зря потратил деньги, но больше жалею, что проспонсировал этот плевок в лицо игроиндустрии.

    I created an account here especially to write a few words about MW. I am a big COD fan and I really had to share my thoughts with you.

    Some reflections: - New MW maps are not as characteristic as the old ones - they lack characteristic places, they are just unremarkeble. For example - Crash has got the wrecked heli in the center of the map; Crossfire is the characteristic street with    I created an account here especially to write a few words about MW.     Some reflections:
    - New MW maps are not as characteristic as the old ones - they lack characteristic places, they are just unremarkeble. For example - Crash has got the wrecked heli in the center of the map; Crossfire is the characteristic street with many hideouts; Terminal or Highrise from MW2 were very oriiginal. Each map was diffrent. In MW 2019 maps are quite similar. We need differentiation and specific map constructions, not just some buildings and lanes.
    - Hardcore mode is a bit hidden in the game modes menu. It is easier to play Realism Mode, that is not better at all. Fewer people play HC mode, because it's hard to find it. I think that Realism should be more hidden and the HC rather on the top!
    - There could be the supply drops for points earned in the game - a nice incentive to collect points for which you can buy them. Something is missing. That would be really encourage.
    - Unlocking weapon accessories is too fast. It's hard to appreciate the time and effort in the game. We had to spend quite a few hours in Battlefield game to unlock another reflector sight.

    Pros:
    + Shooting mechanics are great, new animations also
    + Operators, guns, perks, killstreaks - just old good COD
    + Edgy weapon customization
    + Old COD maps - Crash and Vacant are best for now! I am waiting for more classic maps
    + Music is great! Similar to all new military movies and even John Wick soundtrack.

    I know this is just the Season One and a lot can change in the future. Personally, I'm waiting for new maps. It would be nice to see the FN2000 from MW2, some Sig Sauer weapons, HK UMP...

    It is fine when in the storyline there ar good side and the bad side. But showing USA war crimes and rewriting them as the Russian's did it... This time Activision crossed the line but btw multiplayer is well made and enjoyable to play.

    That's a somewhat polemic topic, but here I go: Yes, the history rewriting is hideous and should NEVER be done. It is dangerous and a menace to knowledge. Aside from this, the game is one of the best I played. Very fun to play, and jaw-dropping graphics. It id a shame such great work has this type of flaw. It is something that I hope never happens again.

    As a long time CoD player I can safely say this game is a solid 2 steps backwards when it comes to the multiplayer. The spawns are just terrible. You will be locked down to 1 area on the map while 80% of the map is completely free and open. You will find yourself more often than not dying at spawn before your character is even able to pull their weapon out to shoot back. Which considering how empty the rest of the map is, is just ridiculous.

    Next problem is the size of the maps. They are far too small. Bringing back maps such as shipment and having maps like shoothouse really make me wonder if they have tested the game themselves before including it. It takes the horrible spawns that the game already has on larger maps and cranks it up to 11.

    Ground War: This mode is much like the Battlefield series Conquest mode with large maps and a domination style gameplay. But, this mode suffers terribly from lack of map variety to extremely poor servers than can not handle such "large" battles.

    Gun mounting. Camping is already a big enough problem in this game but including gun mounting has only made it all that much worse as it encourages players to mount up and sit in 1 spot while having more of themself in cover.

    The Battle Pass. This has to be the most ridiculous cash grab I have seen in a hot minute. It is a complete waste of your money and the CONSTANT push for players to use the store to buy overpriced and pointless items is just annoying and should not be included.

    There are far too many game modes too. Not counting the Coop mode which feels completely forgotten already which I know will just cause problems down the line. Having Normal and Hardcore spit is normal and makes sense and modes like 10v10. But all these other little modes are just unnecessary and split the playerbase.

    The reason I give this a 3 though instead of a 1 which i believe it deserves is the loadout system. There is a lot of variety there and bringing in systems from previous games as a perk here such as Point Streak instead of Killstreak. The graphics are excellent, controls well on both PC and console and the crossplay inclusion is a very nice one. Campaign was the best I have seen in a CoD game in years.

    But the game has too many frustrating problems that makes the overall experience not a fun one at all. I would not recommend this game at all but instead a previous title in the series Black Ops 2. It had larger maps, fixed spawns and fun gun play. A real boots on the ground experience.

    Don't buy this. It a big step back in the series in regards to it's multiplayer and I can not in any way recommend this. It is a poorly made cash grab that pushes microtransations on you constantly after already paying $90 for the base game.    … Expand

    This is the worst COD title I've played in a very long time and that's coming from a guy who played Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare.
    For an online only game you'd expect servers to be amazing, But no, it's the worst servers a COD game has ever been run on. The netcode is absolutely terrible and the Skill Based Matchmaking system makes this an unenjoyable experience from the get go.    This is the worst COD title I've played in a very long time and that's coming from a guy who played Infinite Warfare and Advanced Warfare.
    For an online only game you'd expect servers to be amazing, But no, it's the worst servers a COD game has ever been run on. The netcode is absolutely terrible and the Skill Based Matchmaking system makes this an unenjoyable experience from the get go. The Spec- Ops mode is also utter garbage and the silence from the Dev's on Twitter, Facebook and Reddit proves that the game will never get fixed.     Когда впервые узнал о выходе новой Modern Warfare рад был как ребенок. Моей первой Колдой была именно Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare и она на меня произвела хорошее впечатление, неплохой сюжет (Для Шутера), геймплей, крутой мультиплеер. Потом прошел 2 и 3 часть и лично для меня Modern Warfare стала любимой в серии Call of Duty. Продолжения ждал очень сильно. И вот дождался... И что же мыКогда впервые узнал о выходе новой Modern Warfare рад был как ребенок. Моей первой Колдой была именно Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare и она на меня произвела хорошее впечатление, неплохой сюжет (Для Шутера), геймплей, крутой мультиплеер. Потом прошел 2 и 3 часть и лично для меня Modern Warfare стала любимой в серии Call of Duty. Продолжения ждал очень сильно. И вот дождался... И что же мы получили...? Отвратительный, проходной, пропагандонский сюжет на 6 часов от которого вообще нет смысла. Правды ради некоторое отражение реальности есть, если вспомнить историю про ЧВК "Вагнер" и то как они жестоко расправились с каким то Сирийским пареньком то сюжет кажется не таким уж и бредовым. Но и Русофобии я в нем не вижу. Но вот если говорить о Мультиплеере то он получился просто офигенным, давно я так не кайфовал. Сюжет: 1/10 ( Единица за его присутствие)
    Геймплей (стрельба, карты, оружие и т.п): 7.5/10
    Мультиплеер: 8/10

    Spec Ops is a massive step back from Modern Warfare 3. Though they have attempted to re-integrate stuff like the stars rating system the mode is still flawed. The MW2019 spec ops is large open areas filled with enemies that just make the mode a slog to get through and will leave most players board. The only survival mode is a 15 minute long map that is known to glitch at the end. Overall Spec Ops is a major step back.

    Multiplayer is rather enjoyable. There is a lack of funnel maps and the mode has gone away from the futuristic lasers and jet packs. Recent maps like Shoothouse have shown just how good this games multiplayer can be.

    The single player is interesting from a gameplay perspective but the story is forgettable as are the characters. Whereas in something like Black Ops 2 where your choices would effect the story and not end it, here they just end the game. Open a door to the terrorists and you get a bullet in the head followed by a checkpoint reset. In Blops 2 when given the choice to shoot a friendly or the enemy your choice would effect which would live and how the story would continue. Honestly this story has no balls and it's attempts at being edgy and shocking fall flat. I found myself laughing at how try hard it was.

    Overall I find that this game is meh at best. The spec ops is a flop, multiplayer is pretty good, and the singleplayer is meh.

You will be punished in multiplayer as long as you play well (by getting better opponents) that at some point you no longer have a chance to complete your tasks, you should think that would work the other way too, but ass lick nothing! 2. Which incest contaminated piece of **** thought it would be a good idea to put a ****ty Riot shield in the game? Directly fire my opinion. 3. the in game shop is a single catastrophe, there are only bundles to buy where you don't want to get 90%, and you have to be lucky that the bundles you might want to have at all on this day or at all again in the shop are the offer of dirt where you can waste your money changes every **** day. Adorei o jogo, gráficos lindos, jogabilidade ótima com controles bons, suaves e responsivos, história legal, personagens legais, mas o que realmente brilha no jogo é o fato de que nós jogamos com uma criança, uma **** criança, isso nunca foi feito antes (até onde eu saiba) na série COD e foi realmente uma surpresa do caralho ver isso. O jogo é chocante em algumas partes, não diria muito, mas pelo jogo mostrar a realidade de muitas pessoas, algumas partes podem ser realmente tristes e tensas. O plot-twist também é muito legal, realmente é difícil de imaginar que alguém como o Hadir roubou as toxinas (eram toxinas? Eu nem me lembro, faz um tempinho desde que joguei hasdhsaudh). Infelizmente acabei não podendo jogar o modo online (visto que não possuo um PS4 ;( ) mas tenho certeza que ele é muito massa. Em geral, ele é um ótimo jogo, vejo que muitas pessoas ficaram putas pelo fato de terem russos e eles serem tratados como os vilões no jogo, muitos dizendo que é preconceito com os russos e que o jogo teve uma propaganda em cima de política e pá, sendo sincero, acho que não era preciso ter russos sendo os vilões, se não me engano isso já foi feito, não manjo da política aqui do Brasil, imagina dos outros países ahsdasud, por isso não tenho muito o que dizer sobre o negócio dele ter tido muita propaganda em cima de política e coisas assim, mas bem, deixando essas coisas de lado, COD: MW é um ótimo jogo com gráficos lindos, jogabilidade ótima, história legal, personagens legais, coisas chocantes e um plot-twist massa. Eu recomendo.

    Beautiful graphics, great gunplay, good npcs, Amazing campaign but a horrible multiplayer. The maps are boring and tasteless. This is a modern warfare known to be the hardest of the series but this game caters to noobs with built in spots for campers, like come on iw. Wouldnt reccomend, wait for a sale.

    The matchmaking sucks. The game forces you to join games that are halfway done. This game is for campers cause they get rewarded for having no skill. The gun damage in this game is so unbalanced. Lastly, the multiplayer misses some basic features such as map voting and being able to see your kills and your deaths which is disappointing since this is such an easy feature to add in and has been in mostly every Call of Duty game. Spec Ops is just okay, nothing really to say about it, it's fun but it's nothing ground breaking. The final feature of Modern Warfare was added recently, a free to play battle royale called Warzone. Unlike Blackout which didn't do much to differentiate itself from other battle royale games, Warzone adds tons of features, the most noticeable one being the fact then when you die you get send to the gulag and have to 1v1 your way out of there, this is a nice touch and makes Warzone easier to play.

    I’ve ran into 4 separate performance issues, none of which have been resolved. When you pay $120 for a game and are not able to sign into your account, contact support, or submit a support ticket, it is aggravating. There’s plenty of games out there that allow you to avoid this one. Do that.

    Multiplayer: Mind numbingly slow. I am a level 65 with a 1.98 KDR. You know why? Because I camp. All I have do is, pick a room, use my unlimited claymores and camp. Works everytime and I rack up killstreaks with ease, killing people probably way more skilled than me mechanics wise. Many matches end because of the time limit.

    This company is fraudulent, they put so much attention to detail only to give us propaganda and a sluggish game that even the first boots on the ground CODs couldnt rival in camping.

Infinity ward have managed to suck all the fun out by promoting slow campy gameplay. The single player campaign is good but a poor ending left me feeling underwhelmed.

The whole point of Battle Royaleis is to scavenge and find the best attachments, weapons and equipment, This game eliminates all that. Black Ops 4 had a way better Battle Royale system

But i know that this modern warfare is more like tactical shooter rather than arcade shooter, so is slower than the other cod games. Well i like it beside of the camper really. I would like to put emphasis on the fact that this is the first Call of Duty I have actually enjoyed playing and invested a lot of time into since COD 4 remastered. The game itself is well balanced when it comes to its guns and is just generally fun and excited to play and I really do enjoy it. However, there is a major downside to this game and that’s the development of it. I have never played a game with so many issues and errors popping up. I know this isn’t just my network as it happens to everyone I know but everytime I freshly load up the game it says error connecting and sometimes this can genuinely take 3 attempts just to load up the game. You also can’t play loads of games back to back without a network error whether it’s being kicked out mid game for being disconnected from the call of duty servers or being kicked out of a party that you are in between games. I’ve noticed that in a party of 6 we can’t string more than 2 games together without their being a player booted out. The game itself also seems to freeze constantly and although it’s only for a few seconds when you’re in the lobby it can be so frustrating as you can’t even set up a class without the game glitching. The network errors for this game are such a let down considering how big the game itself is. I would genuinely rate this game a 9/10 if the network errors didn’t play such a big roll in preventing me from just having fun. This game with better servers and network consistency’s would be one of the top call of duty’s ever made hands down.… Expand

Poor map design, camping meta, and horrific gun balancing, and skill based matchmaking All combine for an excruciatingly painful to play multiplayer, every game is a sweat fest of camping, to which the devs refuse to fix or even address. The fact they add in more micro transactions than updates to the game should shot something. The horrible spec ops mode is so unenjoyable that I’d rather go back and play MW2 spec ops any day, every mission drags on longer than it should and feels damn near impossible and when you do beat it, it isn’t rewarding. Now onto the war zone, granted it’s not bad, plunder is a pretty fun take on it all and they have a decent system going for it however, hacking and skill based matchmaking is even in it. Making a already tense and sweaty battle Royale even more of a sweaty mess. Hacking is too abundant and has yet to really be fixed at all. All in all I’m giving this game a rating of 3 due to 3 fourths of the game still needing an abundance of work and due to infinity wards constant flow of micro transactions rather than them fixing and adding in much needed and long overdue updates. Infinity ward hopefully changes things around for the MW2 multiplayers remaster that they “aren’t making” even though we all know it’s already done and on the shelf. Hopefully they stop the overuse of micro transactions and go back to the simple dlc. And just the fact that I have to wait for up to 30 minutes in a server que, even though the game has been “done” since October and it’s currently April is just saddening.… Expand

    No supply boxes, no pay to win weapons, all of the micro-transactions are just cosmetics and the guns feel very satisfying to use.
    The only disappointing thing about this game is that the campaign was very short but it was amazing.
    And to all the angry russian people I just want to say this THERE IS GOOD RUSSIAN CHARACTERS IN THE GAME like Nikolai. It's not about the russian people its about Barkov and how his leadership is wrong and demanding, NOT EVERY RUSSIAN SOLDIER IS BAD they're taking their actions from the orders of Barkov, I'm Arabian and I don't think this game is islamophobic or anything because it shows some muslim/arabian terrorists being bad people, some people are good some people are bad it's not about race or culture.    … Expand

    Maps are intentionally designed for camping. Time to kill is extremely fast so if you are caught off guard, you are at a major disadvantage.     I played warzone before trying the multiplayer out and had trouble deciding if I should purchase the game. They allowed warzone players to try out the multiplayer mode for free last weekend. i tried it out, but I felt like I needed to check out the other maps and game modes to get a better idea of what the game was like. Needless to say, after trying out multiplayer, I will not be buying the game.

    The only saving grace would be 2v2 mode. If you que up with a friend, it can be quite fun going up against other duos and testing your teamwork and overall skills.    … Expand

Multiplayer had it's problems when it came out but it has mostly been ironed out and is a pretty pristine experience now, plot is fantastic, yes there is "Grey morality" the US declares Farah's forces terrorists and Barkov's forces commit war crimes, I've seen people give this game a 0 purely over the highway of death thing but I don't see that as enough of a reason to hate this game, (Although it is why I'm giving it a 9 instead of a 10)
    Also is you think they treated the Russian's unfairly in this game, please take a step back and realize they demonized Barkov's forces, not the whole Russian nation.
    I've poured almost 8 days into the multiplayer now and I plan on playing till Infinity Ward drops their next game. Truly an amazing Call of Duty and by far the best one is years. You really hit it out of the park this time Infinity Ward.    … Expand

    Maps are so big for a 6v6, combined with utter garbage design and visibility, its almost unplayable.
    Small maps are a problem too, spawns are so damn broken, killstreaks basically freeze the game for like 20 seconds, you cant go out or the missiles will destroy you, another reason for camping. Headglitching... 12 tick servers...    … Expand

Absolutely unbearable filthy propaganda that brainwashes youngsters who plays this **** Interestingly, Activision portray Russians, as the developers of this game actually are themselves. Including this highway, which was actually bombarded by the US Army. The developers are so entangled in their own lies that you cannot understand the plot of the story in the middle of the game. Why do subdivisions not follow orders? why are the main characters suddenly included in the list of terrorists? why does a CIA officer join terrorists and disobey direct orders of american command? etc etc. When the plot is so twisted, it's clear mark that the whole story is construction that has nothing to do with reality and eventually **** Conclusion: my story of loyal COD customer has ended. I will never buy this series again, no 'super graphics' can buy the right to **** my brains.… Expand

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
