    Im 5 missions into the campaign, the first and second London missions are fantastic. As someone from the UK, and have been to London multiple times, I really felt immersed, and with spoiling as little as possible- Captain Price and the dude with the bomb, what the dude was saying, brilliant stuff.

    Town house mission was as good as I expected, intense, when youre trying to play it without    Im 5 missions into the campaign, the first and second London missions are fantastic.     Town house mission was as good as I expected, intense, when youre trying to play it without taking out innocents, again immersive.

    The lighting is better than it ever has been, both in cutscenes and in gameplay, definitely the best looking COD. The sound design too might be some of the best I have heard in a game period.    … Expand

    When its being COD this is the best COD since MW2. The maps that riff off Battlefield aren't too special. and I'm not too partial to the game-modes that borrow from Counter-strike/Rainbow Six (I personally prefer old-school deathmatch) but there are game modes for everyone. Graphics, sound and gun play are really top-notch. Didn't play the campaign and never have in a COD game.

    I live in Brazil and always played MW with original language with portuguese subititle. Since advanced warfare the game didn't allow do the same....you're obligated play the game with language that your system is. This's a simple thing to do! Let the player choose how play!

    The campaign had a little more of 7 hours.

    This game shows the truth about the russians. I like the campaign, but it was short at the same time. Awesome gameplay and multiplayer. Hope to see more games like this in the future. Good work Infinity Ward.

    Starting with the campaign is amazing, it is short but very good, the multiplayer mode is very playable and very few failures and the special operations are super fun and to play with friends are incredible.

    Just amazing return to form for COD in campaign mode. I haven’t played special ops yet or online but if you’re a campaign player like myself you’ll most likely enjoy it very much.

And if u got ur mind don't listen to this russian kids that lowering a score, they hadn't even comlete compaign, just heard about' bad russians'. In compaignThis game is amazing.     I’ve played the modern warfare beta pretty extensively, and I had a solid amount of playtime in different modes since the release. It could be to soon for most people to review but I’m sure I’m really impressed. I’ve played cod on and off since Cod 3, I’ve gotten around to trying them all including black ops 4 which I felt did very poorly. In recent when big companies are releasing theseI’ve played the modern warfare beta pretty extensively, and I had a solid amount of playtime in different modes since the release. It could be to soon for most people to review but I’m sure I’m really impressed. I’ve played cod on and off since Cod 3, I’ve gotten around to trying them all including black ops 4 which I felt did very poorly. In recent when big companies are releasing these major AAA games it usually can go way south pretty fast, and I was originally worried for the franchise because while I certainly understand it’s a pretty commonly played game, I still believe the franchise has a lot to offer that others can’t. Fast, fluid, arcade like shooting, aggressive and exciting animations in something that’s almost reminiscent of old doom or unreal tournament. Modern warfare does this usual formula very well, that’s great and all but to me it went above and beyond in some ways. Recoil, weapon models and most of the usual mechanics like sprinting have been fine tuned to an extent I honestly was thrilled to see. You can basically double sprint (tactical sprint) mounting is much more responsive and recoil is so much more visceral. The sound quality and options of changing so are impeccable as well, I genuinely jump when I’m wearing a headset and bullets wiz past. Its all of these things that make it the usual experience but much more immersive and personal. Also, the create a class and attachment system is unbelievable. Stunning for someone who enjoys customizing firearms in real life. Some familiar voice acting is back and it’s just such a good thing to hear. The sometimes silly overly tactical call outs actually make me really pleased to hear. It what the series is known for, I did manage to clear the campaign on normal, without spoiling anything you will certainly see some of the most brutal scenery in the series yet. If your squeamish understandably definitely turn it off and DONT LET YOUR KIDS PLAY IT (if they can’t handle it) If I were to say that was it I’d rate the game flawlessly, 10/10. And it could be depending on how you view this but there is already some practices that have me just a tad worried. I may be on ps4 but excluding modes from other systems on launch isn’t right to me. Again I may get to experience these things first but i know it isn’t fair, I should also mention we don’t know how clear we are from predatory micro transactions, but since that’s speculation I’ll wait and see. Otherwise I’ve had a few bumps in performance, not a lot but I know Xbox is crashing a bit. These are things if ironed out or clarified would make me believe this is a truly amazing release for call of duty. I recommend it.… Expand

    I love that they werent going in on the LQGBT **** and showed some graphic scenes like the good old days. Not giving it a 10 because the PS4 exclusivity.

    Secondly, the campaign. I can't grasp why EVERYONE is picking on the story, leaving a bad review whilst spending 4h in campaign and 500+h in multiplayer? Yes the Russians are the bad ones, what surprise, so what? They also were the bad in this franchise. People with some education can stand above this easily and enjoy the plot as is, but no, in 2019 you have to pick on everything what possibly can offend someone or something. The best review here said "Absolutely disgusting propaganda. Why make such games? Games should unite people and not set them against each other... (score 0)". How people can be serious with this? IT'S A GAME! The is no CoD with unicorns and flowers and happy people all over the place, wtf? Others join the "intellectual class" with words like "Russophobia" and think they are actually smart. Disgusting.

    All in all: Fans from the old games, buy this one, you won't be disappointed. The feeling is just like it was in 2009-2012.
    In the unlikely case that a Activision/Blizzard employ reads this: You guys did a great job on that one! It's a shame how close minded people got, leaving all this embarrassing reviews. It is a good example of the fact that people get more dumb every year and enter a very preoccupied tunnel-vision of all these trends which arose since 2010.

    Infinity Ward once again proved that they are the true developers of the game.
    The game is incredibly beautiful even on PS4 Slim ( if the console was more powerful in 2 times, then the graphics would be even better )

    Amazing gameplay, great characters, but some people here are mad about the politics but I don't care, It's a solid game and that is facts! some character motivations weren't the best not gonna lie but I'm not gonna name any names, you can either get offended and cry, or play the game and enjoy it period.

    This is by far the best part of the game. People are here commenting saying the game is "propaganda". Whilst this may be true, the game mentions that "not everyone is a hero", implying that americans aren't either. If this game was released in 2008 it would be the game of the decade, just like how COD 4 was. COD 4 WAS EXACTLY THE SAME; the reason why people are getting offended is because it's visualized in such a gruesome manor. I don't believe that the Russians are bad people, it's the cult who are. As well as Americans or any other international organization, everyone is bad in each others own perspective so i don't get why people are rating this a "0" or a "1". Other than that, the level design in each mission is amazing. Some missions really make you think what's best to do, flash bangs and tactical are actually meaningful now because if you run too far forward you'll get killed which i like. If you think for yourself, and know that the story is fictional, then you will have a good time too.

    Spec ops is shy of being interesting also. I'm very underwhelmed by how they treated this. Each mission is a pain because most of the levels are open dull empty areas where you have to go to one place to another. The enemies are super hard to battle against, and there is no difficulty mode

    Now onto the main thing, the multiplayer.
    I'm going to say this - this multiplayer has been the most underwhelming out of the bunch and this is probably the first Cod ever where i don't actually put effort into leveling up. When i heard about how this game played and the maps in the beta; i was so excited. However, when it dropped I soon realized how bad it actually is.

    Basically both gunplay and gameplay don't correlate well at all with the maps. The only map I enjoy playing is Azhir Cave because it's short, to the point and you don't have to wait about 30-40 seconds to get back into the battle and when you die, you have to do the same thing it's not fun and it's not the style Cod should be. most of the normal maps "in the quick play rotation" are really bad as stated above. That being said the gunfights are a good implementation to the game. Maps like docks, and gulag showers (nice throwback) are good maps for 2v2. Only wish the main part of that gulag was in this MW as a standalone map. The worst map has to be Piccadilly because it's just uninspiring. There's no detail other than a bunch of thrown bus' in the middle and everyone camps, there's no good gameplay with this map. I understand if this happened in a normal life, then this would be realistic; but for an arcade shooter? no... I'm really surprised that map even went passed QA.. and finally ground war.. this is what i like the most ironically. but just copied from battlefield

    Extras: I like the leaning feature, the graphics are beautiful (best cod for graphics), there's no full teams in multiplayer lol

    Verdict - The campaign is solid, spec ops is mediocre and multiplayer is just biased (love it or hate it sorta thing). I'd say wait until it's on sale.

    6/10 (OG post), could change in a couple weeks time but this is how i feel    … Expand

    Русские в новой колде показаны нормально, НО солдаты Баркова это не солдаты, а изгои такие же как и сам Барков, серая мораль в игре показана и очень жестоко и круто. А наши же "патриоты" которым видеть ли не понравилось то что показывают как и добрых Русских, так и изгоев солдаты Баркова, просто жаль что разработчики постарались, а игру так сильно    Мне очень жаль разработчиков, но начнём!

    One of the Best COD games EVER if not THE Best, Campaign is amazing, Gameplay flawless, Graphics almost Battlefield level Graphics, top notch.
    And I really loved the Campaign, it is the first game ever to show that Muslims actually hate terrorism and fight against it, not to mention it shows that Muslims are the most affected people by terrorism .

    For me one of the best COD Games since COD4 MW.

    The campagne is really great and realistic.
    The MP Mode is amazing and not fast as BO4 but more competitive!

    Really a great game .

    Well enjoying the campaign on this game, the multiplayer is very good. I personally have not seen any bugs etc. Graphics are great and the sound is also very good. I can see why the storey might upset a few in some areas but this is a 18 cert game. Storey seems ok to me not really why I play CoD mind but seems to be one of the better campaigns.     Multiplayer is also very good, slower paced and a little more tactical which is not my usual style so having to adjust a little to this. It also seems a bit more campy but then you just need to check things more now and use flashbangs etc. Weapons all feel nice and beefy sounding, I actually do not mind using a sniper rifle in this game now as well. Not my usual cuppa but on the big maps it good. As usual it has me shouting foul mouthed words at times and raging when I play rubbish but when you do get a good game its great as usual. Maps should be free etc and here is hoping that its just cosmetics that you pay for (does anyone trust them on this? I do not think I do atm)

    Now for all the reviews that are 0 you guys must be idiots for starters it is a Call of Duty game and you must know what you are getting into, bugs on release day etc. There are enough changes in this game to keep it a little bit fresh. The user score means nothing on Metacritic as I do not see how this game is anywhere near a 0 unless you lot are just review bombing it then well that's that I guess. Activision still has time to mess this game up and knock more points off though but from me it is a very good effort from the people at InfiniteyWard at least at launch. Crossplay is welcome so no buying this game on other platforms etc if you have friends scattered about on different platforms. Some nice new maps along with 64 players etc. Weapons have lots of customisation and so far they all seem pretty good with nothing being well overpowered. Mouse and keyboard support on consoles is also worth a mention :)

    This new and reborn Modern Warfare is what this franchise needed. I’ve just completed the Campaign and I am amazed by how well done the story is. The game engine upgrade is on full display with the best looking Call of Duty to date. The multiplayer has game modes for everyone while bringing back the nostalgic feeling of the older Modern Warfare games. There are very few game modes that IThis new and reborn Modern Warfare is what this franchise needed. I’ve just completed the Campaign and I am amazed by how well done the story is.     Me parece injusto que el juego tenga tan baja nota por "tonterías" de que pueda ofender a un país o a varios, sabiendo que esto solo es un juego y que nada es real. Por mi parte este es uno de los mejores juegos que han pasado por mis manos. Ojala que la gente se de cuenta de esto y que no critiquen a algo que realmente no entienden. Un 10 de 10 por mi parte.

    A spectacular revision of the best story line in the whole series! The graphics, especially the weapon animations are unparalleled. And the depiction of realistic situations and fictionalized retellings of recent conflicts and events make this more contemporary than just using weapons of the current era of warfare.

    This is what COD is about.
    One of the greatest campaigns, that Farah mission was awesome.
    Graphics are hyper realistic.
    Gameplay was rock solid as always. New mount mechanic was a good addition. Sound is over the top. Movie quality soundtrack.
    Multiplayer is fun. Coop missions also.
    Overall game of the year contender.

    a masterpiece campaign, but a little bit too short. Still, it was a worthy ride all along!
    multiplayer and spec ops are amazing! Finally COD gets a crossplay feature!

Just a solid game, happy to see there listening to the community & got rid of the season pass, paid dlc etc. It's all free even though they are including a battle pass which will only include cosmetics. Game launches with 22 maps total which is twice as much as usual on top of a campaign, special ops coop missions, survival mode & the new graphics engine is great, I usually don't say this about call of duty graphics but this one's impressive. Hopefully the developers keep pushing content out for this game & I could see it staying at the top of the charts for a long time, maybe even beating fortnite in terms of popularity… Expand

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
