    First COD I have bought in a long time, the campaign is great! binged it in one go. It is a bit American propaganda like but still enjoyed the story.
    People saying Americans are the good guys? You play most of the game as British, and shows both sides doing bad stuff. The campaigns whole theme is does the end justify the means.

    Ever since 2010, I never thought there would ever be an amazing CoD like MW2. After playing 12 hours of Multiplayer, beating the campaign, and being with the homies in special ops, I gotta say, this is the best Call of Duty I've played since Modern Warfare 2. I highly recommend this game.

    Back to the roots of Call of Duty. The best game in the series since MW2. Graphics are amazing, campaign is excellent, multiplayer back to normal FPS. No crazy abilities, no power sliding or dolphin diving. Just a good old fashion shooter that looks and feels incredible.

    I've played every Modern Warfare, this one is by far the best. The campaign was action packed and was enjoyable to play. The ending gave me goosebumps. The multiplayer experience has a lot to offer. There is a camping problem but there are so many other game modes that don't promote camping so there is no excuse. I enjoy playing the game and have put a substantial amount of time into it.I've played every Modern Warfare, this one is by far the best. The campaign was action packed and was enjoyable to play.     Wow! Just played a few hours with friends and it's amazing! There's not much to complain about - spawn kills are still a thing from time to time but I guess they'll get rid of this in that title. Finally, cross-platform is available. Love it!

    Im playing this game with my jaw dropped & my hands sweating! What an amazing, exciting & intense game! Marvelous game. Thank you Activision for this greatness.Only downfall is it took almost 3hrs to install the game. ....ohhhh and please shut the heck up you sensitive cry babies about how real this game is!.. shut up pansies!

    Never liked a COD game before so be aware I am not a fan of previous games. Game is top notch quality on every aspect of the game but the audio effects maybe the best ever done in a game. Single player campaign is brutal and realistic which is a good thing. I just want them to put a decent BR mode because I think it's more replayable than other multiplayer modes. COD MW is truly a return to the play style of the original MW trilogy, boots on the ground, gun-play, campers, spawn kills, and noob tubers.     First of all the campaign is amazing, so hats off to IW for pulling this off! Second, the multiplayer is awesome. It brings back the great times I had with the original MW trilogie. This is what we needed! And finally spec ops is back! Always fun to play with my friends!

    Forgot to mention something important! NO lootbox anymore!

    Haven't bought any cods recently and i'm glad I got this one. Game feels amazing. Maps are imo really good except for the fact that there is too much windows. Multiplayer is really good and so is the campaign.

    Multiplayer without season pass is a dream come true, + crossplay.
    I'm just hoping that activision + infinity ward will support this game over the years instead of making another cod in the next year

    Too many sheep jumping on the propaganda bandwagon. I'm seeing reviews with 0s although they're giving the MP and Coop scores of up to 7-8/10 in their review. The typical bandwagon of Call of Duty haters are lining up to bring the ratings down. It's the best Call of Duty we have had in 7 years and everyone still sooks. Get over it.

    I'm returning to Call of Duty after nearly 7 years and I'm not disappointed. The game looks and feels fresh. The new graphical engine is superb and the gameplay is smooth, yet realistic. The audio design is hands down the best it's every been. These three things make this the best COD from a technical standpoint. The campaign is definitely top 3 stories next to Black Ops 2 and the older MWI'm returning to Call of Duty after nearly 7 years and I'm not disappointed. The game looks and feels fresh. The VO work is top notch and again, it looks and sounds amazing. You could actually be there it's so good! There's no crazy, over the top moments. It's grounded and I loved every minute of it. Spec ops is a let down as there's isn't much to do and it's very repetitive. It's more fun with friends but it's still just ok. The mp is great with a few things that need fixing. The maps are impossible to master as there are so many angles and hiding spots. The footsteps are way too loud and need to be turned down by at least 50%. It encourages camping which brings us full circle back to the maps. Gunplay and customization are great. This could be a great COd but it's up to IW to fix the few issues. DLC maps will be free so that's a huge positive as well. It will keep people engaged for a longer amount of time. At the end of the day it's still COD. COD will always be around but iI don't think we'll every get that giddy feeling like we had back with MW2 and Black Ops 1. It's sad but those days are past us and other, more complex games are filling the void.… Expand

    I pre-judge the f*** out of AAA releases these days but this one is good. Guns feel great, graphics are lightyears ahead of previous CODs (which puts them at about average for 2019), maps have somewhat taken a departure from the 3 lane system. Still early but PVP feels balanced although I'm still in the noob servers.

Video games and CoD specifically need to center their stories around past wars and modern conflicts and recreate them but doing it so onesided and offensive is not the way.     There's alot to this game so I'm gonna break it down into elements that I think are worth mentioning.

    Firstly, the important parts.... Graphics, Sound Design and mechanics are all spectacular. I would honestly say that the gunplay mechanics in this title are pretty much the best I've come across in a shooter.... top of the pile. The solo campaign is just as taught, tense and at times    There's alot to this game so I'm gonna break it down into elements that I think are worth mentioning.

    Firstly, the important parts.... Graphics, Sound Design and mechanics are all spectacular. I would honestly say that the gunplay mechanics in this title are pretty much the best I've come across in a shooter.... top of the pile.

    The solo campaign is just as taught, tense and at times graphic as has been reported on, and ... well, I'm sure most have seen what many are saying about it... basically, war is complicated, Russia is bad, America is the righteous savior, blah, blah. It's a decent romp, but with some pretty gruesome moments. Acting is decent though and characters are well portrayed.

    Multiplayer modes are decently varied. I'm not hugely keen on the very large map 'ground war' mode tbh. It's just too chaotic for my tastes. Other modes on medium maps such as the bomb disposal one and domination are decent, with potential for mastering the maps. My favourite is the one in the Swiss Alps. The Arabic maps are often very complex (particularly the Palace map) with a complicated matrix of interconnected corridors and alleys on various levels. Had some genuinely fun times so far, particularly with the quad bikes etc.

    So here it is..... gunfight. My baby. It's an absolute gem of a mode. The maps are mostly superb - I particularly love King, Pine, Stacks and Speedball, but they are all varied and most offer decent opportunities for tense highly competitive gameplay. The seamless and simple joining of lobbies and fast turnover of games makes it a very addictive mode. What can i say.... this mode alone is worth the ticket price for me, esp if the game is picked up for around 30 quid. Kind of wish they just sold this mode for 15 quid as a standalone MP game, as it would mean the player base would be huge for ages like Rocket League.    … Expand

    Buy the game on disc, prepare for excitement.......then spend the next 12 hours waiting for the 86 Gig mandatory download to complete before you can actually play the game! All I want to do is play the single player campaign, but no Activision want to waste my time because they can’t be bothered to include the actual game on the disc. Would get a refund if I could!

You can still run and gun if you want, but you are no longer at a disadvantage if you want to set up on high ground and snipe, or move slowly with a team to clear an objective / area.

The multiplayer is a different story however and is tremendously slow. The maps are really large and have lots of open areas so trying to rush the enemies usually results in getting picked off easily.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Objectively - story company, it takes a maximum of 5 hours (on medium difficulty). Many points are borrowed from various films, and this even goes to the plus, but again, the plot is not enough. Some missions self-repeat. Some characters are not spelled out very well, because of this it is difficult to condole their feelings and sufferings (from evil Russians). As such, the "neutrality" that the developers promised is not. The choice is minimal and has little effect.
    As usual, the Americans / British fellows saved the Russians from themselves (from the evil Russians).
    Special operations are boring and uninteresting.
    BUT there are no complaints about the gameplay, an excellent game, this is more like Battlefield than the latest Battlefield V.
    Pleasant shooting, convenient and intuitive controls, but a little complicated interface for a simple layman (as an example - getting weapons for pre-order from the arsenal turned out to be difficult for some).
    Too arcade control of equipment, although this is a stupid nitpicking, because IN CALL OF DUTY THERE IS VEHICLE and HELICOPTERS and this is already good.
    Killstrikes for the mode are implemented cool, but balance is needed.
    You feel the spirit of the very good Call of Duty, but it is played and felt in a new way (for the better).

    Subjectively - my internal VATNIK just broke from the most violent Russophobia. It is Russophobic because it directly says about “KILLING RUSSIANS”, but in Russian localization the word “RUSSIANS” was replaced by “BARKOV SOLDIERS” to soften the glow.
    The game showed "white helmets" that helped people under the rubble, although they are better known for their fake salvations, filmed for show.
    Although Activision tried to somehow smooth it out by adding the “good” Russians who cooperate with the United States, but in the special operations on the territory of the “mocked” state the DNR (the modern conflict in Ukraine) served as a prototype. I will not talk about the notorious Feminism ...
    Too arcade technique, played poorly.
    A lot of maps were created for campers (as if I had just entered Battlefield).
    The problem of Asians with cheats on European servers can be omitted.

    The saddest thing in this situation is that the developers decided to push off the USA crimes in Iraq by changing "USA" to "Russia".
    As an example: the "road of death in Urzikstan" is the same "road of death" in Iraq when, during the retreat of the Iraqi forces, the USAF destroyed the retreating Iraqi army (which is prohibited by the Geneva Convention).    … Expand

    Hands down, the best COD since MW2. Everything about the game has been reimagined to be incredibly pro-player. The gunplay is sublime, graphics are best in series, maps are intricate and fun, all play styles are catered for, some actual depth to the game for the first time in a long time.

    Графика (в рамках серии) хороша. Геймплей и ощущение от стрельбы отличные.

    В игре мало минусов, звук и картинка на высоте.

    Не 10 потому что короткая сюжетная кампания (у меня ушло чуть более 6 часов на прохождение), очень порадовали графика и физика стрельбы, видно хорошо проделанную работу, сюжет типичный для серии но подан красиво.

Multiplayer is fun and the realistic approach to customization, streaks, and really everything is a welcome change. Unfortunately ground war isn’t available yet, at least that I saw. I hope it comes soon, because after the beta, I’ll probably play it more than standard mp. The games well over 100gb and is packed with content, overall I love what I’ve played so far. All this said I see many complainers, some trolls, some upset about a single thing like survival or sjw types “outraged” and some just unhappy as with everything. Basically if you get triggered by clapping and want it banned, or have a tummy full of soy, you may want to stick to Pokémon. Only real concern is what they do with monetization and that’s yet to be seen, so we have to wait and see. Aside from that, if you enjoy realistic shooters and aren’t triggered often, pick it up and enjoy putting down some terrorists.… Expand

    Para mi es un juego de 10/10la sensación que transmite al disparar los sonidos todo esta bien hecho y gráficamente y la jugabilidad es muy buena la historia es de lo mejor de la saga después del moderne warfare 4 y de momento al multiplayer nada que reprocharle Espero que siga así activicion y bravo por el trabajo que ha hecho infinity ward saludos !!

    Call of duty modern warfare is fresh but familiar when it comes to multiplayer and spec ops. The campaign however is truly amazing. I have never felt so emotional attached to call of duty story as I am with this one. I believe that this game is great for the single player crowd as well as the people who like multiplayer.

    С русофобией в сюжете перегнули конечно, но в целом интересно было проходить(не буду спойлерить) Радует что оружие в игре теперь ощущается не как пластиковая болванка, а действительно как огнестрельное оружие.

    I think this is the best cod game we’ve gotten since the original modern warfare trilogy.
    I say this considering:
    1. An amazing campaign
    2. “Over all” enjoyable multiplayer
    3. An entertaining third mode which will improvise in time
    4. No lootboxes, hopefully
    5. A good Battle pass system

    Everything is upside down. Call of Duty has a better solo campaign than multiplayer after many years. We will remember a perfectly scripted war with a dense atmosphere, but we’ll forget about the unbalanced online multiplayer. [Issue#298]

    After a multiplayer-centric episode, the COD fans will be delight with the return of a nervous and strong solo campaign. Modern Warfare is back with old-fashioned gameplay that is more grounded and efficient. The generous amount of content adds some depth to one of the best chapters of the saga to date. Magic!

    Overall Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a good title that is marred by the expectations that the Modern Warfare name brings with it. The campaign has some really stellar gameplay moments that are brought down by the mediocre plot. Multiplayer was fun but felt a bit like the competition’s output (despite there being no Battlefield release this year) which may be a turn off for some. I don’t think Modern Warfare 2019 has done anything to make me rethink waiting for substantial price drops to play Call of Duty campaigns, because clearly multiplayer is still Activision’s main focus and that’s just not where I get my kicks.
